Our goal is to offer our customers a unique combination of performance sailing and family holidays, exactly as we would design it for ourselves and our families. High-end performance boats, premium service, and perfect conditions in the picturesque Greek archipelago help us achieve this goal.

Equipped with all the extras to ensure great sailing, convenience, and safety, you can treat yourself to a true high-end X-Yachts experience. Our team, carefully selected and trained, will be by your side from the moment you book until your return home, ensuring you get the most out of the experience. And in case you can’t resist the idea of owning your own X-Yachts boat, our team will guide you to make the right choice between a brand new or a like new second hand boat.

Our Mission & Values

We have all been there. When you are a sailor yourself and you first charter a mainstream charter production boat, with family or friends for a week, there is one nagging word that haunts you throughout the experience; “compromise”.

Our mission, in a phrase, is to offer uncompromised sailing experiences complemented by high-end service. For charter customers and X-owners.

Our main values are integrity, transparency and knowledge. For us, integrity means not diluting our promises to our customers, partners, and within the team. Transparency means being crystal clear from the start about what we can and cannot offer. Knowledge refers to the heart driven appetite for all of our team to learn something new every day becoming better and offering a truly impeccable service.

Our charter base is located at Olympic Marine in Lavrio, Greece. It’s a 35-minute drive from Athens International Airport and just 16 nautical miles from the start of the most scenic area of the Greek archipelago. The location is of key importance from which you are able to venture to the hundreds of Greek islands and the Mediterranean when the season starts.

“ Last but not least, the beautiful, heart driven, professional, highly motivated and supporting Crew from X-Yachting Lavrio !!! They where just great, gave us the boat in an outstanding state, even partially catered with nice attentions. Their sailing options and product management is also on a complete different level compared to the usual market! How not going back to these beautiful friends!!! ” Francois, Switzerland Bareboat Charter
“ From the initial point of contact with X Yachting I can testify that the level of service offered was of the highest quality, from booking the charter, to arrival, to stepping off the yacht at end of the charter the very highest standards were offered in a friendly and cordial way by everyone in the X Yachting team ” Stefan, Cyprus 'Ghost skipper' Charter
“ The cruise was amazing, the boat is incredible and Taki the skipper the best we could ask. I will consider fors sure to have another experience like this one next year ” Filippo, Italy Skippered Charter
“ Absolutely great! ” Kevin, Denmark Bareboat One-way Charter
“ We had a super week as a family with two young boys on a brand new 4-6 with a fantastic skipper. All organization went very smooth from airport transfer, jumping on the boat and finding nice spots to anchor. Can't wait to come back again! ” Bas, Netherlands Skippered Charter
“ We have been very fortunate to have partnered with X-Yachting Greece to maintain and manage our X4.9 in such a spectacular part of the world. From initial contact with George and subsequently getting to know and work with the wider X Yachting team, the whole experience has been very positive. The knowledge and support offered through the X-Yacht Care Program has been invaluable. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with such a dynamic and professional team. ” Damien & Patricia Xstatic
“ X-Yacht Sailing Centre – Our View… A Breath of Fresh Air! A last minute change of rules on Covid left us looking for somewhere to take Savvy XP55 that after two years of servicing overdue was in need of some specialist love and care. For the last few seasons we have been trying to find somewhere with reliable professionals and sensible price lists with a long list of bad experiences across the Mediterranean… then we arrived by chance at X-Yachts Sailing Centre. We were hopeful the X-Yacht name was a good sign but really didn’t know what to expect when arriving with some quite significant maintenance issues including a troublesome generator that had been worked on by three different engineers before without success and a long list of essential maintenance and repairs. From the moment we arrived at very short notice to a very warm welcome from George Jason Stella Bill and the team things started to happen, within days a full list of works was agreed engineers had been on board that understood the boat, its peculiarities and were already fixing issues others had attempted and failed to fix elsewhere for over a year. They run a yacht care program which to begin with we were hesitant about having been promised the earth elsewhere and getting very little. Having now experienced it I would thoroughly recommend this. They take care of everything, have the best of the technicians to hand and access to a vast parts network all at near to at cost levels with a simple understandable, and what we feel a very reasonable fee for their management of everything. The concierge like service that the team has given us has made life so easy through a difficult time with global restrictions. Nothing is too much trouble, they care for the boats like they own them, they are sensitive and sensible and never spend our money without discussion. They have also done a great deal more than we had ever expected putting Savvy back to better than delivery condition after some clever modifications. Olympic Marine is also situated perfectly for international travel and has immediate access to a sailing mecca of the Aegean Islands, with the Ionian and Turkey a stone's throw away. In short… these are good and decent welcoming people who do things the right way always. It is just about the only place outside Haderslev that we know we don’t have to worry when leaving Savvy… Our only worry is that having found them we will find it difficult to leave when we stretch our legs further afield! Thank you George, Stella, Jason, Bill and all the team ” Paul & Nicole Sailing Savvy Xp55

We keep saying that the X-Yachts Experience is an uncompromised and unprecedented charter experience. But what does this mean in practice? We have a collection of the major differences of X-Yachting compared to mainstream market.

With almost 40 years of experience, there’s a reason X-Yachts have established enviable customer loyalty: quality. From the long heritage of designers and naval architects that really understand what a true sailing yacht should be, fanatical attention to detail and a constant drive for innovation and a build quality second to none.

The Don Lemon Interview Accomplished One Thing

The truth about elon musk has never been clearer..

Less than a year after getting fired from his longtime CNN gig for pissing off his bosses , Don Lemon recently revealed that he’s been … fired from his latest gig for pissing off his new boss. The gig this time? A solo-hosted online show in partnership with X, formerly Twitter. The boss? None other than Elon Musk, who agreed to sit down as The Don Lemon Show ’s first interviewee on March 8.

The contract between Musk and Lemon—although it went unsigned —would have encompassed a revenue-sharing agreement between the two, plus some reportedly luxurious kickbacks for Lemon and highly produced video clips for X. The company had desperately courted the post-CNN Lemon for months. According to the Wall Street Journal, CEO-in-name Linda Yaccarino had put the Lemon deal front and center in her efforts to lure advertisers back to the video-prioritizing social network , whose far-right turn under Musk’s ownership has wiped out ad revenue .

So why did Musk scuttle the deal? Come check out “the conversation that everyone is talking about ,” at least according to Lemon.

Before we get to the topics of controversy, it’s worth recounting how Lemon initially approached this interview, which was filmed at Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory. From the jump, Lemon allowed Musk full liberty to parrot all sorts of fantastic, eyebrow-raising claims without even the slightest pushback: that Twitter is the “No. 1 source of news in the world” ( that’s still Facebook , despite its hostility toward publishers ), that Twitter’s “improved” algorithm is seeing “record usage” (as Alex Kantrowitz has reported in Slate , the number of app users has dropped significantly), that “old-school Twitter” would suppress right-wing accounts “10 times more” than it did left-wing ones (if anything, Twitter’s pre-Musk algorithm favored right-leaning accounts , despite banning many neo-Nazis and white supremacists). These remarks often came in response to some pathetically softball questions from Lemon: “You are in charge of an incredible platform, Elon. How do you feel that’s going?” “Are you putting out a flying car?” “How do you relax?”

But Lemon adjusted tactics about halfway through, pressing Musk on the mogul’s most concerning actions and statements, albeit with mixed results. First came the ask on Musk’s reported ketamine abuse , which the Tesla CEO called a “private” question before admitting to posting about the drug time and again “because I thought it could help other people”—then recommending that people diagnosed with depression take ketamine instead of SSRIs. (Musk has often claimed, without evidence , that traditional mental health medications “ zombify ” their users; Lemon didn’t probe further.)

Lemon was much more persistent when it came to Musk’s repeated endorsements of the racist, antisemitic “great replacement theory”—i.e., that shadowy figures, implied to be Jewish people, work to take in nonwhite immigrants so as to supplant white people. Musk tried to brush this all off by saying he doesn’t “subscribe to that,” then pivoting to baseless claims that there’s “a simple incentive to increase Democratic voters” by welcoming immigrants, including undocumented ones—even though, as Lemon pointed out, undocumented immigrants cannot vote and do not actually do so in significant numbers.

But eventually Musk bit and put forth another bizarre conspiracy: that because the 2020 census included undocumented residents in “blue states,” those states get an “increased number of House seats” that they wouldn’t otherwise have, as well as advantages in the Electoral College. In actuality, the Census Bureau likely missed a “ substantial share ” of noncitizen immigrants in 2020, per NPR, thanks to intimidating rhetoric from the Trump administration. Lemon didn’t mention that point, but he did correctly bring up that the Electoral College overwhelmingly advantages lesser-populated, redder states. Musk’s response to that? “I think that statement is true, but what I said is also true.” Huh?

That wasn’t Lemon’s last question about Musk’s increasingly vehement racism. When Lemon brought up Musk’s previous boosting of a tweet that referred to an “invasion” at the southern border, and mentioned that such language had been used by far-right terrorists like the 2019 El Paso shooter, Musk brushed it off, saying, “If I quote something, that doesn’t mean I believe everything it’s saying. It’s just something I think people should consider.” Then, while addressing the spread of antisemitic caricatures on Twitter, complete with disturbing examples from Twitter Blue subscribers, Musk kept insisting that “we only delete things that are illegal ” ( not true ) and that no one actually sees those antisemitic tweets ( also not true , not least because … Musk himself boosts a lot of hateful posts and sentiments).

Where Lemon appeared most insistent in pushing back against Musk’s nonsense was in the subject of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Lemon prodded his guest on his statements that DEI programs are “killing people” by “lowering standards” for women and nonwhite job applicants. Musk kept attempting to reframe his statement as a hypothetical and something that “could”/“will” happen in the future. (Though he’s already tweeted that airplane companies prioritizing “DEI hiring over your safety” is “actually happening,” there’s no evidence for these ridiculous claims.) For the rest of the talk, Musk continued to fall back on pablum about how there will be “replies” and Community Notes from users passing judgment on their convo, and that society should “move on” from correcting for historic inequities in race and gender. (“When you stop caring about people’s skills and integrity, and you start focusing on race and gender instead …” he said, pausing and trailing off.)

So … what did we learn from these two, and this sorry spectacle? Well, it may have been a useful exercise in hopefully dispensing, once and for all, any supposition that Elon “Free Speech” Musk is actually interested in advancing that democratic principle. If Don Lemon brings up things that Musk himself has posted? That’s censorship. But if Musk cancels an agreement with Lemon, after his company spent a full year wining and dining the anchor, because his feelings were hurt? That’s … free speech, apparently.

Maybe it’s better for Lemon that he has now severed ties with Twitter—by all metrics, the interview did not garner many views anyway. So it goes.

California yacht owner threatens to kill dock worker in vicious showdown, cali yacht owner threatens to kill dock worker drops pants for rude salute, 95 3/13/2024 8:09 am pt.

A California yacht owner's vicious beef with a dock worker has reached death-threat levels -- and their exchange was caught on camera and included a nude, and very rude, gesture!

Check out the clip ... it all unfolds when San Diego entrepreneur Ajay Thakore swings by the swanky Marriott Marquis Marina in his rare $4.5M Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht to pick up one of his employees -- but things boil over when dock worker Joseph Holt tells him he can't be there.

Thakore, the CEO of medical advertising firm Doctor Multimedia, flips out on Holt big time ... and starts spewing threats like, "I will kill you, you know I will kill you, I will kill."

And it doesn't stop there -- as Thakore's pulling out of the harbor, he drops trou to make a full frontal salute in Holt's direction. Stay classy, San Diego!

Holt's only retaliation was flipping the bird, and he later told CBS8 that was all he could do to keep his cool and avoid escalating the situation.

Holt says parts of the altercation were not captured on camera, and he adds ... Thakore not only threatened to kill him, but also claimed to have connections who could totally mess up his life.

Holt also says Thakore pulled out $100 bills and tossed them at him, even chucking some in the water.

BTW, Thakore's done some backpedaling since the ugly exchange -- he now says, "The interaction that occurred yesterday was regrettable. What started as a minor misunderstanding escalated into an argument, and I apologize for my actions and to those who witnessed the unfortunate exchange."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

FWIW ... One of Thakore’s employees claims the whole thing began because other dock workers blocked him from boarding the yacht.

Oh, and if that fancy Lambo yacht looks familiar -- it's the same one Chuck Liddell recently tumbled off just last month. Now it's famous AND infamous!

‘Bring Riley home’: Family of missing student, Cajun Navy to organize search party

Strain, 22, has been missing since march 8..

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The family of Riley Strain is frustrated with the ongoing Metro Police search effort for the University of Missouri student and is calling in its own group to help search for the 22-year-old.

Strain, who was in Nashville for a fraternity trip, went missing on March 8 after being kicked out of Luke’s 32 Bridge on Broadway. Strain’s missing person’s case has gained national attention as the search for him continues.

Nashville authorities have searched on land and in the river without finding anything themselves. Over the weekend, the first and only piece of physical evidence of the disappearance was found by two TikTok influencers.

That’s why the family reached out to the United Cajun Navy, a disaster response organization made up of volunteers, said David Flagg, the organization’s national director of operations. The non-profit was formed after Hurricane Katrina to provide search and rescue resources after natural disasters and in missing persons cases.

Flagg said the group will deploy an airboat and a hovercraft in the coming days to help search for Strain along the Cumberland River bank, where his phone last pinged off a cell phone tower and his bank card was found by two civilians. Flagg said while the help from the public in the search has been welcomed, the search must become more organized and safer.

“Our main focus is to find Riley,” Flagg said. “Our secondary focus is to ensure the safety of the people out here searching.”

PREVIOUS COVERAGE:

On Monday, the Metro Nashville Police Department released a previously unseen video of Strain interacting with an officer on the night of his disappearance. Police said the Mizzou student did not seem distressed, while earlier video shows Strain stumbling and falling around downtown Nashville.

At the press conference Tuesday, MNPD Sgt. Robert Nielsen said speculation about whether Strain was being chased or followed by someone on the night of his disappearance was dispelled by the video released by police. Nielsen said while investigators continue to follow up on tips, authorities maintain there have been no indications of foul play.

While some have been critical of the response from local authorities, Nielsen emphasized that MNPD is doing all it can to find the 22-year-old. Local authorities plan to search along the river again Tuesday afternoon.

Both police and the United Cajun Navy said people should not search along the riverbanks on their own. They described the area as very steep with lots of dangerous trash and other debris that could harm someone.

“We feel that we need the extra resources to come in and help us as we get more organized for our family,” Strain’s stepfather Chris Whiteid said. “To see if we can’t bring some more clues to light.”

Aside from the search along the Cumberland River, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission has launched its own investigation to find out whether Strain was overserved alcohol on Broadway. Luke’s 32 Bridge claims Strain was served only one drink and two waters on the night he disappeared. The TABC initially declined to comment when asked if any other Broadway bars are being investigated but later issued a statement.

“The TABC is continuing to investigate whether any violation of state alcohol law occurred regarding Riley Strain on March 8, 2024. The TABC has worked with local law enforcement to determine where he was served alcohol that night,” the statement said. ”All licensed establishments questioned have been cooperative. The final report will be made public once the investigation has been closed.”

Strain’s family thanked the public for its support since Strain has been missing.

“We appreciate the outpouring of support,” Strain’s family said. “Our goal is still to bring Riley home. We feel that it is still a very viable goal.”

Flagg said anyone who wants to volunteer alongside the Cajun Navy should contact them through the group’s website .

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

The development of the new XR is still at an early stage, but the vision and ambition are clear: The XR will be a winner, and therefore the X-Yachts in-house design team partnered up with some of the world’s most experienced companies and racers to reach that goal!

The partners will be working closely with the X-Yachts design team, and together they will design and build a race boat with winning potential for all major championships and regattas in ORC and potentially IRC.

The illustrations below show one of the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) runs of the first XR hull. Each hull test consists of numerous variants, that in small increments on various parameters, evolved into the optimal performance over a large matrix of hull speeds and heel angles.
