The award winning 55m/180'5" motor yacht 'Atlante' was built by CRN in Italy at their Ancona shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Dorothée Boissier and she was delivered to her owner in August 2015. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Nuvolari Lenard.

Atlante has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 suites comprising four VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Atlante is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Atlante comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.

The magnificent yacht features a luxurious interior design from Gilles & Boissier. ATLANTE was delivered in 2015 from CRN’s Italian shipyard. She is cutting-edge and impressive for all to see on the water.

The interior of the ATLANTE yacht was designed by Dorothée Boissier and Patrick Gilles from Gilles & Boissier . The design team collaborated with CRN’s in-house design team.

She has accommodation for 12 guests in 5 suites which are configured as one master suite and 4 VIP suites.

The master suite is a full-beam accommodation with a contemporary design and a masculine style.

The room features a full-beam ensuite. The four guest cabins are found on the lower deck and share a similar style to the master with smoked oak, brushed silver fir tones, and white Calcutta Vagli marble.

The ATLANTE yacht has crew accommodation for 13 on the lower deck, ensuring guests have the most luxurious superyacht experience.

While the yacht’s exterior features bold and aggressive lines, the interior is meant for pleasure, comfort, style, safety, and fun onboard.

The vessel has a touch-and-go helicopter pad for a helicopter of up to three tonnes. The main deck can be used for many purposes: as storage for tenders, an alfresco dining area, a cinema, or a private saloon.

There is a formal dining area that is located forward the wheelhouse. ATLANTE has an outstanding wellness feature: a gym, a spa with a massage table, a Turkish bath, and a pool.

The beach club makes for an excellent indoor/outdoor area to enjoy the sea views and surrounding areas. The elevator makes it easy for guests to move throughout the five decks of the yacht.

She features a wide selection of water toys for guests to be entertained by. The superyacht’s interior is impressive and luxurious with its gentleman-styled interiors and matching artwork.

The ATLANTE yacht has a stunning exterior that is a match for her lavish interior. She features exterior design from Nuvolari Lenard that penned cool, striking, and stylish lines of ATLANTE. CRN designed the naval architecture.

She was built by the Italian shipyard CRN, which is known for its luxurious builds and quality.

She was delivered in 2015 and has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure that are eye-catching and imposing on the water.

The decks are teak throughout the yacht. The dark tones of ATLANTE’s exterior add to the military-like features of the vessel’s visage on the water.

Specifications

The ATLANTE yacht is 55m with a 10.2m beam and a 3.1m draft. She has a cruising speed of 14 knots and a top speed of 15 knots with her two Caterpillar engines .

ATLANTE has a cruising range of 4200 nautical miles at 12 knots and has a displacement of 1024 gross tons.

She has a Lloyd’s Register classification and is MCA compliant. The $40 million superyacht has an annual $2 – $4 million running cost.

This yacht is the outcome of the outstanding job performed by design firm Nuvolari Lenard, that pencilled her outer lines, and CRN’s Engineering Department, which was in charge of naval engineering.

Nuvolari Lenardi had already successfully cooperated with the Shipyard on several megayachts, including 43-metre 'Magnifica’, 46-metre ‘Clarena' and 'Saramour', and 72-metre 'Azteca'.

Good things really do come in threes—at least for Atlante Yachts.

The Italian shipyard has just unveiled a trio of new explorer yachts dubbed the Classic Series. The semi-custom vessels aim to bring a touch of sophistication to the expedition class, combining sleek design with a steel hull hearty enough to venture into rough waters.

The line’s three models—the Classic 30 , Classic 33 and Classic 37 —were all designed by Paolo Dose of the Studio VYD . Although each boat has its own distinct personality (which can be modified if necessary), there is a shared design language inspired by traditional Italian “Navetta” gentleman’s yachts. In addition to their good looks, they are also rugged, ocean-going explorer yachts first and foremost, and have the steel hull, 5,000-nautical-mile range and low-fuel consumption to prove it.

Classic 30 explorer yacht  Atalante Yachts

The smallest of the three is the comparatively stripped-down Classic 30: Measuring 98.4 feet (or 30 meters) from bow to stern, the boat has four decks (sun, upper, main and lower), and room for up to 10 adults in its five guest cabins, with additional room for a crew of seven. The mid-range model is the Classic 33. It measures 108.3 feet and has all the features of the Classic 30, plus a beach club and a folding swim platform. At the top of the line is the Classic 37 (pictured up top). Measuring 121.4 feet, it has all the deluxe features of its smaller siblings, plus a convertible beach club with its own infinity pool. When you don’t feel like going for a dip, it can easily be covered and converted into additional deck space.

Each Classic yacht will be built by Turkish shipbuilder Megi Yay Yachts, which has previously collaborated with Atlante on the Virtus superyacht , among other boats. Atlante is taking orders for the explorer yachts now, with pricing beginning at $8.1 million for the Classic 30, $10 million for the Classic 33 and $13.5 million for the Classic 37.

The Atlante Yachts Series are designed by award winning Italian Yacht Design firm VYD, announcing the launch of a new line devoted to both style and versatile function :

Hull number # 1 is currently under construction at builder Mengi Yay Yachts where several VYD designed yachts are currently under construction including two 47 Metre Virtus series displacement yachts and other custom projects.

Mistral 41 Hull # 2  features full aluminium construction, is priced Euro at € 15,225,000, is available for 2023 delivery, and is for sale through Central Agents Yacht & Villa International who are also Central Agents for the rest of the Atlante Yachts Series. Fast, illuminated and spacious the Mistral Series onboard environment creates a new experience of life on the water.

Spacious contemporary interior spaces include a fitness area on the main deck and a spectacular salon and dining area where interior and exterior spaces flow naturally into one another.

The lower deck beach club, features an infinity pool and fold-down balcony terraces which create spaces for relaxing and entertaining.

Two cabin layouts are proposed : a conventional 5-cabin version with the owner’s cabin is located on the main deck and 4 guest staterooms below deck and a “Penthouse”  version with the owners stateroom taking over the sky lounge.

The Mistral 41 features innovative midships and second rear garage storage solutions to ensure that a maximum of tenders and toys may be stored and deployed with a minimum of disruption to deck areas.

This ensures that a full host of water vehicles and water sports equipment may be carried to far off destinations with safer loading and offloading operations without interfering with full use of deck space.

With a fast displacement hull form able to cruise at 15 knots and with a maximum speed of 20 Knots this a yacht to experience life at sea and to excite your senses.

The shallow draft aluminium hull of 2.15m allows access to island cruising areas inaccessible to many similar yachts of her size.

However, the Mistral 41 is no frivolous party boat : serious ocean going characteristics and an economic fuel range of more than 5,000 Nautical Miles underpin the choice of fully aluminium and steel and aluminium construction.

Crn presents the 55 metre Atlante

There are two vital statistics that prove Atlante is a genuinely unique yacht well beyond her stylistic identity. Those numbers are 30 and 320,000. The number of months and man hours it took before the 55-metre finally slid down the slips at the Ferretti Group’s CRN yar d . “As she gradually took shape,” says CRN project and after-sales manager Simone Lorenzano , “we realised that Atlante would be unique to an absolutely unprecedented extent”.

The yard’s sales and marketing manager Luca Boldrini adds: “The owner wanted something really different but we were astonished when he said he wanted a yacht that was very masculine and sporty. Special”. With her square-isa forms, broken, angular lines, military vessel profile and high-tech content, Atlante really is a striking departure from the super yacht norm. “Aggressive but balanced,” is the description given to us by Dan Lenard who, with his partner Carlo Nuvolari and their staff, penned Atlante’s exterior.

“She is an incredibly impactful yacht but her powerfully military look softens when she’s at sea” Her unconventional lines apart, however, Atlante also has many other deeply radical characteristics. “We wanted to really break down the barriers between interior and exterior,” explains Lenard.

That meant using a lot of glass. “Almost 200 square metres of glazing to be precise,” adds Lorenzano. “The owner wanted to immerse himself as fully as possible in the natural world around him and that’s why the windows all over the yacht are full-height”. Another through the beach club on the transom which acts a foyer.

From there a beautiful stairs leads up to the main deck. The four-decker, however, is very much an uncluttered, open-plan kind of girl. On the foredeck, for instance, all the hardware is stowed below deck. Multifunctional spaces abound too, such as the aft section of the main deck where the zones designated to stowing the two tenders can convert to a lounge, communal area, sea terrace or dancefloor, all directly connecting with the main saloon.

In the latter designers Gilles & Boissier give the first demonstration of their skilled interpretation of the owner’s tastes with a refined yet soothing combination of smoked oak, occasional tables that meld wood and marble with metal legs, and rosewood sofas upholstered in light Loro Piana fabrics. After the saloon comes the lobby which is dominated by a spectacular pale marble staircase leading to the lower deck and its four VIP staterooms.

“We used 20 tons of marble overall,” explains Lorenzano. Beyond the lobby is the full-beam owner’s suite where Gilles & Bossier bring together all of the materials adopted aboard, ranging from white and brown brushed spruce to black oak, eucalyptus and also marble flooring. The result is elegant and contemporary. Eucalyptus, rosewood and leather are put to good effect in the lounge on the upper deck which also features Atlante’s signature huge windows.

An astonishing six-metre-wide glass door opens on to the aft terrace and acts as a second guest entry point thanks to an unusual hydraulic passarelle. The pilothouse is forward on the upper deck and features an integrated Telemar bridge as well as the onboard domestics system supplied by CRN’s partner Videoworks.

It leads out to the forward area too where there is an up-anddown hideaway table, free-standing seating and a large open space that doubles as a touch-and-go helipad. Last but very far from least, the sundeck is devoted entirely to the art of relaxation and also features another of the strongest signatures of Atlante’s exterior design: polished stainless steel handrails that have an unusual trapezoid shape. The gleaming reflections and glints from their multifaceted surfaces add an extra allure to the already-fascinating Atlante, a yacht with a uniquely powerful personal style.

Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital

There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.

How to find the right boat?

There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.

Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.

This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.

Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such  option  offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).

If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.

Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.

How to buy tickets?

Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.

“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!”  wrote  (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.

Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.

Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.

Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.

Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as  this   offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.

This  website  (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other  website  sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.

Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.

“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.

There are two main boarding piers in the city center:  Hotel Ukraine  and  Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.

Where to sit onboard?

Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.

The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.

Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.

There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More
