ROMA Yacht for Charter

The 203-foot (62m) luxury superyacht RoMa is beyond impressive. From her comfortable on-deck living areas to her contemporary interior spaces that were inspired by the ocean, RoMA provides the perfect platform for an exceptional charter experience from the moment you embark.

Launched in 2010 by Viareggio Superyachts, RoMA features impeccable design courtesy of famed Norwegian architect Espen Oeino. The yacht’s lavish, modern interior style was created by Katharina Raczek from Newcruise. She conceptualized a pristine color palate of crisp whites enhanced by golds and deep reds with hints of green. The interior décor pays homage to the sea with nuanced touches such as the main salon’s sand-like carpet and the Nautilus sea shell-like laser-cut paneling on the main staircase.

The spacious main salon is ideally suited for relaxing and socializing. The space features seating, a backlit onyx bar and coffee tables. Forward is formal dining for 12 at a beautiful circular table. The main deck also is home to the master stateroom located furthest forward. This elegant space features a king-size bed as well as a pullout sofa. Panoramic windows provide incredible views and natural light. The en-suite bathroom has his-and-hers sinks and a bathtub and a dressing room rounds out the lavish suite. Three additional en-suite staterooms also are found on the main deck. A fifth stateroom is located on the upper deck and the sixth is found below deck for added privacy. Twelve guests are comfortably accommodated on board.

RoMa’s on-board movie theater is a favorite space for guests after a day on the water. The full-beam skylounge features seating and a game table and beautiful nautical-inspired décor. Aft of the skylounge is a large alfresco dining table and built-in lounge seating. This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor meals.

The sundeck aboard RoMa is a favorite place for guests to spend sun-soaked days. From the loungers and adjustable sunpads to the large pool and bar, what’s not to enjoy? This space also has an air-conditioned gym that offers impressive views as you work out.

RoMa comes with an outstanding inventory of water toys. Easily launched from her beautiful beach club, play with paddleboards, water skis, Jet Skis, Seabobs and snorkeling gear. The crew can set up the enormous waterslide for fast fun. A water golf game will keep everyone on their toys and the Castoldi Jet tender can take guests anywhere they want to go. RoMa is a PADI Superyacht Dive Boat and her onboard scuba instructors ensure total safety for all guests. She also is a RYA Personal Water Craft (PWC) School ensuring that all guests are able to use the Jet Skis and other toys. The yacht’s licensed masseuse/beautician provides a variety of spa treatments for guests. RoMa’s captain is well versed in yoga and meditation and is always willing to share his expertise on these and any other fields.

ROMA for charter

Packed from bow to stern with a vast array of impressive facilities, the magnificent 61.8m (203’4) RoMa is a prime example that it is possible to have it all.

Designed by the renowned Norwegian architect Espen Oeino, she was launched from the Viareggio shipyard in 2010. Throughout her luxurious living spaces, a colour palette of crisp whites contrasted against warm splashes of deep reds, subtle gold’s and hints of green create a feeling of contemporary elegance.

The main saloon has been furnished to offer comfort in opulent surroundings. A pair of L shaped sofas lay parallel whilst the chic Onyx bar/table provides the perfect spot for evening relaxation. Forward of the main saloon to the starboard side, the entrance lobby can be found where guests can take to whichever deck they please in the glass elevator.

Her accommodation sleeps 12 guests in 6 contemporary styled staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, one VIP stateroom, three doubles and a twin which can also be used as a nanny cabin if necessary. The master suite is decorated similarly to the main saloon with neutral shades and subtle lighting used to create a light and airy ambiance. It also features a spacious en-suite with a steam/shower room built in beautiful Estremos marble alongside a private dressing room, ensuring the ultimate luxury charter experience.

In terms of entertainment, RoMa is unsurpassed in luxury amenities and water-toys for an unforgettable charter experience. One of her most impressive features is an on-board cinema, the walls of which are adorned with fibre optic stars. Her fantastic outdoor spaces are equally impressive, featuring a private beach-club, swimming pool with current enabling jet, fully-equipped gymnasium and a host of toys as well as two Castoldi Jet tenders. The generous sundeck offers the perfect spot to sunbathe on the ample sun-loungers, relax with guests or enjoy a cool drink from the bar served by one of her fantastic crew members.

RoMa has a steel and aluminium superstructure and has being built to meet strictest environmental standards as witnessed by its Green Star certification, the first ever issued by RINA for a yacht. RoMa is a Certified PADI Superyacht Dive Centre, Yacht SCUBA Safety Certified and RYA Certified Personal Water Craft Training Centre. RoMa is the first and only yacht licensed as a PADI Superyacht Scuba Diving School, which means she is a legitimate diving school and guests can complete any official PADI course available on board and receive a genuine license which is valid worldwide. The ROMA yacht is a 62.0m superyacht built and delivered by Viareggio Superyachts in 2010. 

She is the fourth largest yacht built by the Italian company, and she is also ranked as the 429 largest yacht in the world.

The color scheme in white shades with gold, red and green hues honors the ocean with a sand-like carpet and sea shell-like panels on the main staircase. 

ROMA has a modern interior style perfect for the guest to either relax or socialize. Her panoramic windows fill the yacht with natural lights providing amazing views.

She can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a master suite, four double cabins, and one twin cabin. She can also carry 17 crew members in separate cabins. 

To ensure comfort and relaxation, ROMA has a variety of amenities to entertain every single guest, such as a swimming pool, movie theatre, gym, air-conditioning, inflatable water slide, games consoles, and an elevator. 

Her toys include jet skis, Yamaha wave runner, paddle boards, kayaks, sea bobs, jet surf, flyboard, floating pool, inflatable trampoline, and snorkeling and scuba diving equipment. She is also equipped with two tenders ready to use.

The ROMA yacht features both exterior design and naval architecture by Espen Øino International. 

She has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and she’s characterized for having multiple open areas to sunbathe or use as platforms for any sports or activities.

ROMA features “at anchor stabilizers”, increasing onboard comfort and security even on rough waters. 

She has a Dynamic Positioning System that gives her access to coves and beaches, in spite of her size. She is also wheelchair friendly.

According to some websites, the ROMA yacht was last sold in 2015. This luxury yacht is available for private or corporate charter and events.

A General Description of Motor Yacht ROMA

This sizeable luxury yacht ROMA is a motor yacht. This 62 metre (203 foot) luxury yacht was crafted by Vsy - Viareggio Superyachts in 2009. She could be described as a recent full displacement yacht. ROMA is ex (Project Duchess Of Tuscany). Superyacht ROMA is a stylish yacht that can accommodate up to 12 passengers on board and has a total of 16 professional crew. This large motor yacht has a helicopter landing facility. Finished and launched in 2009 the recent internal styling exhibits the congruous progression in the designing of Newcruise.

The new environmental regulation “Green Plus” by the classification society RINA was granted to 62 meter Roma as well as 2 other superyachts called Candscape II (63m) and Emerald Green. (41m). The vessels awarded this certificate have to make a significant investment in design solutions, on board equipment and operational procedures helping to reduce the impact of the yacht on the environment increasing their efficiency and performance. This will play an important role in bringing a reduction in the carbon emissions from the yachts’ exhaust.

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Espen Oeino. The technical naval architect drawings are the products of Espen Oeino. Motor Yacht ROMA received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Newcruise. In 2009 she was actually launched with accolade in Viareggio and post sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter handed over to the owner. Vsy - Viareggio Superyachts completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. Her main hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made for the most part from aluminium. With a width of 10.8 metres or 35.43 ft ROMA has fairly large size. A fairly deep draught of 3m (9.84ft) limits the amount of overall marinas she can berth in, contingent on their specific depth at low tide.
