With ca. 50 m2 of flush, flat, rope free teak deck, 20 m2 of saloon, 5 cabins and 4 toilets, D&D Yachts hopes that they achieved their design mission…

“To set a new level of comfort in charter usage”

There are two tables in saloon giving the possibility of splitting a large charter crew into two groups. The extensive specification includes 300 litters of refrigerators, air-conditioning and a Yanmar 110 HP engine.

A well designed hull and attention to detail in production allows for excellent sailing speeds of 8-10knots cruising and a maximum of 14knots whilst still being very manageable. The strong Yanmar also allows for motoring speed of 8-10 knots at ¾ throttle. In addition, the 54 provides an assuring level of comfort even in a heavy sea with a displacement of 19tonnes.

D&D yachts have used their 12 years experience in the charter industry partnered with Nautika Kufner to develop a charter yacht that introduces a new level of comfort and quality for an unbeatable low price.

Kufner 54 Exclusive - new sailboat

The boat from the Croatian shipyard D&D - Kufner 54 Exclusive - is an updated version of Kufner 54. We talk about the features of the new sailing yacht.

New model from the Croatian shipyard D&D

The Kufner 54 Exclusive is the successor to the shipyard's older model, the Kufner 54. The Kufner 54 was known for its strength and reliability. The same qualities became the main ones when creating an updated version of the boat. 

The length of the boat is 17.30 meters and the width is 4.95. Compared to the "big sister" Kufner 54 Exclusive has a stern 70 centimeters longer. Thanks to this, it was possible to expand the cockpit and now there really is enough space on the stern. An additional bench can be optionally installed next to each of the helms.

One of the main features that distinguished Kufner 54 was the ability to customize the boat to the needs of the customer. Kufner 54 Exclusive inherits this feature. The owner can define not only fittings and on-board equipment. Interestingly, the shipyard is ready to customize almost everything on the boat, including the location of the bulkheads.

Appearance Kufner 54 Exclusive

We can definitely say that one of the advantages of the boat is the free usable space. Access to the mast, boom, winches, helms, cockpit is really convenient due to the free space - you definitely won’t have to push around on the deck. The transom is foldable and can be used as a bathing platform.

Interestingly, the cockpit has two uses. You can leave the stern free - then your sailing experience will be truly unforgettable due to the spaciousness of the cockpit. And you can install the so-called. "summer kitchen" The kitchen is a barbecue, which is hidden under that extra bench behind the steering wheels. To use the barbecue you need to open the top of the bench. Judging by the pictures, while cooking, you will have to stand on a folding transom.

In addition to the barbecue, there is an additional sink under the bench. When the bench is closed, you can use the vacant seat for sunbathing.

The deck on the yacht is teak - from the forecastle to the stern. On the tank, by the way, you can place three sun loungers near the mast. In addition, it is possible to install four more sun loungers on the roof of the wheelhouse. It was specially made flat so that you can sunbathe comfortably. 

The L-shaped sofas in the cockpit can accommodate up to 10 people. There is also a handy retractable table. Under the table there was a place for a mini-fridge. 

Inside the yacht, a feeling of large volume and free space is preserved. On the starboard side of the boat is a linear galley. If you briefly describe the galley, then only the phrase “like at home” comes to mind. This phrase means a sufficient amount of work space and the availability of good household appliances. 

An impressive table separates the kitchen area from the central corridor. It must be convenient to use for quick snacks or as an additional work surface when cooking. There are three stools inside the table that can be easily reached. 

On the port side is a comfortable U-shaped sofa and a table for a full meal. As the shipyard says, it can seat up to 10 people. 

There are five cabins on the boat - two doubles at the stern (with private bathrooms), two behind the saloon and closer to the tank (with bunk beds and two latrines) and a master cabin. Naturally, the master cabin, like in most boats, stands out for its size, design and amenities.

If you have a height above average, then you don’t have to worry about the height of the horizontal ceilings. The shipyard has put a lot of effort into creating a comfortable boat for people of all sizes. No elevation changes were found on the yacht either. Behind the dining area in the salon there is a chart table with all the necessary equipment.

On the 54 foot Kufner Yacht there are four double/twin cabins with private en suite bathroom facilities, and each room is equipped with a porthole that can open. Two of the cabins are twin bunks and two of the cabins feature one double bed each. Cabins are also equipped with storage under the beds, a small closet, and a mirror.

Boat layout:

Our 54 foot, Kufner Yacht was built in 2016 and refitted in 2020. It features a fully stocked kitchenette, indoor dining and lounging area. On deck there is open seating and lounging space on the bow and seating and lounging in a covered area on the stern. The yacht features 4 cabins with private en suite facilities. There are showers located in each of the private bathrooms and one on deck to use for rinsing off after a swim.

This sailing adventure is staffed by a qualified skipper/G Adventures CEO. Your skipper/CEO knows the Islands extremely well, and is passionate about sharing it's hidden secrets with their "crew".
