Welcome to the Kelowna Yacht Club. The best place to be! At our lakefront location in the heart of downtown Kelowna, we provide our members with top-quality moorage in Canada's largest fresh-water marina, excellent food and beverage service, social events and opportunities to assist others in the community. A not-for-profit volunteer-run organization, we've been supporting boater education and safe, responsible enjoyment of Okanagan Lake since 1945. The Kelowna Yacht Club understands that everyone is unique. That’s why we offer a variety of membership options to suit your specific needs. Whether you are looking for a place to moor your boat, hold your business meetings or unwind after a long day, we have the membership for you.

Once you have registered and validated your account you will be asked to create your own User Name and Password. You will only be asked to do this once. PLEASE NOTE: Both Primary and A Members (spouse) can create their own accounts, however, account statements will only be accessable on the Primary Member's account. Make sure a separate email address is used for each account during setup.

Membership Capacity

The Kelowna Yacht Club is currently accepting applications for Regular, Junior, Intermediate, and Corporate memberships. A limited number of moorage slips are also available for vessels under 28′. To start the application process, please complete our Inquiry Form here.

Our highly sought-after Lifestyle Memberships are currently at capacity and applications are only accepted as vacancies of these memberships occur. To receive updates and to be notified when openings occur, please complete our Inquiry Form here.

Get the full club experience.

Enjoy full clubhouse privileges for you and your spouse. Our Regular Members are eligible to hold a moorage slip in our secure facilities and hold voting privileges.

One-time Initiation Fee: $11,000 (Can be split into 2 installments)

Annual Dues: *^$1,330

*Includes a $500 prepaid house account (MHA) ^Offering prorated dues for your first membership year, contact us for current rates

You don’t need to be a boater to enjoy the club. Lifestyle (social) memberships are designed for those who want to enjoy the facility, special events, and dining with an amazing view. On-the-dock kayak and paddleboard storage are available to get you out on the water, either on your own paddle vessel or a rental from the Club.

One-time Initiation Fee: $5,500 (Can be split into 2 installments)

Annual Dues: *^: $1,047

Enjoy full clubhouse privileges for up to six designated members from your business. Corporate memberships are eligible to hold one moorage slip and showcase your business on the docks with a corporate plaque. Expand your business network and host client meetings in our state-of-the-art facilities. It’s a perfect place to make your downtown waterfront office.

One-time Initiation Fee: $18,700

Annual Dues: *^+: $2,848

*Includes $1,500 prepaid house account (MHA) ^Offering prorated dues for your first membership year, contact us for current rates    +Includes first three designees on the account

Endless good times at the club.

This membership is designed for social and active 19 to 29 year olds. Whether you’re looking to enjoy the patio with friends and family, or race in a regatta across Okanagan Lake, there’s a whole lot of fun to be had at the club.

One-time Initiation Fee*: $11,000/$5,500 (split annually until 30th birthday)

Annual Dues: $236

*Note: The initiation fee is waived for all Junior Members who advance to a Regular or Intermediate membership!

We love inspiring the next generation of watersport enthusiasts. Our Junior memberships are perfect for those 9-18 year olds who love to get out on the water.
