A rare look inside Diddy’s $65 million superyacht

does p diddy own a yacht

From a newspaper vendor at the age of 12, Sean “Diddy” Combs has built a successful business empire in addition to his music career. The business mogul has a net worth of nearly $1 billion and his fortune comes from stakes in businesses such as Ciroc Vodka, Sean John clothing line, DeLeon tequila, Aquahydrate water, and sponsorships deals.

Aside from his businesses, Diddy is accustomed to the high life and he has a superyacht to match his status as a musician, artiste manager and business investor. The business mogul owns a $65 million superyacht he bought in 2012.

According to autoevolution , Diddy has been sailing in Europe, like other celebrities and multimillionaires. The difference here is that Diddy travels using his own yacht, Maraya, which means “many mirrors” in Arabic or “admired” based on its Spanish origin.

Maraya was built and delivered in 2008 by CRN Ancona, a Ferretti Group subsidiary. The yacht is 54.2-meter (177.8-foot) and has interiors by Claude Missir and Zuccon. Also, the yacht is a five-decker that offers ample exterior space and lavish interiors.

According to autoevolution , the superyacht’s hull is steel and the superstructure aluminum. It has a sparkling white with a clean silhouette exterior; the interiors are more masculine, with heavy woods and real leather accents.

The yacht has accommodation for 12 people over eight rooms, including a master suite, five VIP staterooms, three twin cabins and one Pullman bed. It can carry up to 17 crew members onboard to ensure a truly relaxing experience, according to Daily Mail.

The yacht also has other luxurious amenities like a jacuzzi on the sundeck, a fully-equipped gym and wellness area, and vast lounge areas. The yacht also has a nightclub-like area with a bar, a screening room, formal and informal dining rooms, and a chef’s kitchen.

The Maraya, powered by twin Caterpillar engines, can reach maximum speeds of 16.5 knots and travel leisurely at 14.5 knots, according to autoevolution .

Diddy was raised by his grandmother following the killing of his dad when he was only two years old. He graduated from the Roman Catholic Mouth Saint Michael Academy in 1987 and proceeded to Howard University as a business major, but left after his sophomore year, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

He is credited with nurturing talents such as Jodeci and Mary J. Blige besides Notorious BIG, Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, 112, Total, and Father MC.

Rapper P.Diddy's Yacht Moored in Port of Nice

The €40 million yacht, named Maraya, has been seen in Nice

At a length of 54 metres, P.Diddy's yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests, as well as housing the 10 crew members needed to make the voyage a more pleasant, and no doubt luxury experience.

Since the American rapper and music mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs purchased the yacht in 2012 it has seen numerous lavish parties, none more so than at the Cannes Film Festival where it proves to be a real hit with guests. Celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Mike Tyson, Billy Zane, Nelly and designer Roberto Cavalli have all spent time on the yacht sipping champagne, enjoying the sun lounge, making use of the abundance of watersport toys and no doubt dancing late into the night in the mini on-board night club. Other guests have included Kanye West, Michelle Rodriguez, Nicky Hilton, Adrien Brody and Benicio del Toro.

When Mr Diddy is not using the yacht himself it is chartered out for a cool €300,000 a week. I doubt that includes food, alcohol or tips for the crew!

For now it doesn't appear that P.Diddy is on-board so we can only assume that someone with a lot of money is currently mooring it in the Port of Nice. If you fancy chartering your own yacht in Nice then check out our listings for the best selection.

$850,000 per week? So does P diddy own the yacht or rent it or what? I would think thats way to much money for him to afford..I mean c mon he is not bill gates

My guess is that $850,000 is his cost to maintain when it's being used. It's not costing him $850,000 to keep it docked.

he can afford it.. you know he has a little over a billion dollars with 10's of millions dropping at his lap every year...he is the ceo of a bunch of things

Man. That is pricy for a week vacation.

$850k/wk is probably what it'll cost someone else to rent it out (and what smart businessman isn't going to use an asset like that to help pay for itself). It's also probably the figure that will be used to value his "donation" for tax purposes when it's used to host charity events.

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs is livin’ large in the Mediterranean aboard this 181-foot luxury yacht – and it’s costing him an astounding $400,000 a week.

The high-spending hip-hop honcho set sail from the South of France over the weekend with girlfriend Kim Porter, their 4-year-old son, Christian, and several close pals.

“He’s traveling around the Mediterranean. It’s his annual trip,” Combs’ flack, Nathalie Moar, told The Post.

Annual, but by no means ordinary. The stunning $25 million Southern Cross III he’s relaxing on is the size of a small Hamptons mansion. It has seven posh cabins equipped with king-sized beds and Jacuzzis, fully stocked indoor and outdoor bars and a private deck with a hot tub.

A chef is available 24 hours a day to whip up whatever gourmet specialties the hip-hop king and his guests desire, and the captain is on call to pull into any port for impromptu shopping expeditions.

An additional staff of 13 are on deck to cater to P. Diddy’s every whim, be it a massage, a manicure or a haircut.

The bedrooms also have giant TV sets, state-of-the-art stereos and DVD movie collections, as well as personal computers with Internet access. Curtains open and close with the press of a button.

And there’s a spacious formal dining room and comfy living room. If any of P. Diddy’s friends want to drop in unexpectedly, they can land on a hydraulically operated helicopter pad.

The basic cost of the yacht is $26,000 a day, not including food, booze, fuel and gratuities, which cost $14,000 – for a grand total of $40,000 for every 24 hours. And since the minimum rental period is 10 days, that brings Diddy’s grand total to $400,000.

On his first morning aboard, he could be seen emerging barefoot, dressed in a knee-length white bathrobe with a thick gold chain and cross around his neck. Strolling along the deck, Diddy looked up, then lit a cigar and began puffing away. Later, under Diddy’s supervision, little Christian climbed on a Jet Ski and tooled around in the cool, green-blue waters.

Extravagant? Absolutely. But P. Diddy can certainly afford it.

P Diddy invites The Mirror on board his £33million yacht

Anyone who's anyone has danced on the decks of P Diddy's lavish £33million yacht - add The Mirror to the ranks of the stars.

P Diddy with our Sara

  • 00:00, 30 May 2008
  • Updated 03:05, 4 Feb 2012

Naomi Campbell has partied here. So too have Lindsay Lohan, Mike Tyson, Billy Zane, Nelly and fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.

In fact, anyone who's anyone has danced on the decks of P Diddy's lavish £33million yacht, The Maraya, which is currently moored in Cannes.

And now here I am, too. I can scarcely believe my luck!

The king of bling himself has exclusively invited the Mirror onboard for a personal guided tour of the brand new 54ft yacht he's chartered.

Eager for a nose around to see how the jet-set live, I arrive a tad early for my host, who I find surrounded by fussing flunkies.

One is holding a mirror in front of his face, another is brushing his already perfectly-preened hair.

"That's enough, thanks," says the rapper, nodding them away before welcoming me with a smile that shows off his brilliant white gnashers.

P Diddy looks immaculate - you'd never guess that he's only had four hours sleep. Last night he hosted his star-studded Daylight To Daybreak party on the top deck, which turned into a 12-hour bender.

He sinks into a butter-soft cream leather sofa and flashes another wide smile. I needn't have worried about how to break the ice when faced with a multi-millionaire music mogul - the mere fact that I'm a Brit does that.

"I can't wait to come back to the UK," says Diddy, 38, warmly. "I have such a great time there. I want to do another tour there soon. Last time Snoop wasn't allowed in the UK, but I'm rooting for him to make that happen."

Just as we start to chat, we're interrupted by his team of assistants. It seems some gifts have arrived from uber-posh shop Hermes - 15 bags of them. So Diddy has a nonchalant look over them as his staff carefully arrange them on the lower deck.

It shows just how far he has come from his humble Harlem roots. Today he's a multi-platinum-selling artist and producer, who's launched the careers of Lil' Kim and the late Notorious B.I.G, through Bad Boy Records.

He recently got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, boasts a successful Sean John clothing line, the Unforgivable Black fragrance range, a reality TV show Making The Band and his own Ciroc vodka.

But for just one symbol of his incredible success you need look no further than The Maraya.

This extravagant yacht - which took three years to build and was finished just eight weeks ago - is wall-to-wall luxury.

It is kept, er, shipshape by a 10-man crew. The top deck boasts a stage and huge projector screen above the main party floor which has an '80s-style bar at the back.

To protect the thick cream carpets, guests are asked to remove their stilettos or trainers and go barefoot.

On each tier, Diddy keeps a private quarter closed off by sliding doors.

When his select guests step inside, electric blue lights beam on to greet them.

I peek at his bed - emperor size, of course, and strewn with initialled pillows.

And in the corners of the pristine bathrooms there are piles of fluffy white towels.

The living room is both plush and warm. The walls are adorned with mirrors, giant jars of dried apricots line the mantelpieces, books about Africa lay on the tables and soft cushions are scattered on the sofas.

The crew will make chocolate chip cookies on demand and issue pashmina blankets if Diddy's guests feel the slightest chill. My host even has a personalised cream and brown one, which he wore at the close of his Daylight To Daybreak do.

He clearly loves luxury. But it isn't all about money. Diddy tells me: "I'd like to do something with Madonna in Malawi. I see what she does and I think it's fantastic. I'd love to help any way I can."

He also has his sights set on working with X Factor winner, Leona Lewis.

"I want that girl on my next album," he says. "I'm a huge fan. Not only is she so, so beautiful, she has a great voice. She is extremely talented, and it's great she's from England.

"She has one of the best voices I've heard. I'm already thinking about my next album and definitely want to make it work, so she's on it. I had Christina Aguilera on my last album, but it's all about Leona Lewis on my next."

Hackney lass Leona is just one of Diddy's favourite Brits - another being football hero David Beckham.

The pair became pally following the former England captain's £128million move to LA Galaxy.

Earlier this month, the Mirror revealed how Becks had to miss Diddy's Hollywood Walk of Fame bash because of training, so he sent his mate a recorded video message which was played on the night.

"What a stylish guy," says Diddy, his voice full of admiration. "I'd love to do a fashion range with David Beckham. He's a good friend and is very kind. Us two together doing business would be amazing.

"I heard he is doing a shoe range with Snoop. That's cool, but I would love to do fashion with David. I already have a fragrance and clothing line, but I'd love my next project to include him. Perhaps we could collaborate to do something for charity."

Another homegrown talent that gets him all fired up is F1 ace Lewis Hamilton. "Lewis is the man!" he says.

"A true hero. He is going to teach me how to race, can you believe it? It's some thing I've always wanted to do, I can't wait. I love cars. Honestly, if I was up against him I don't know who would win.

We'll see. I checked him out at the Grand Prix."

Sadly, his amazing success hasn't translated into his personal life so much.

Although he has five children, he has never married - not that he is ever short of female company. Earlier this year he was seen partying into the early hours with Sienna Miller, and he has been linked to a string of beautiful women, including Eddie Murphy's ex Tracey Edmonds. But he says: "Tracey and I are just good friends. We spent time together, but there were 40 people in the room!"

There's no doubt that women love him - one over-amorous fan even made a grab at him while he boarded his yacht.

Diddy says: "My secret with the ladies is just to be a really nice guy, and treat them well."

Charming and rich - what a truly irresistible combination!

What Diddy's done

Born Sean Combs, he has been known variously as Puffy, Puff Daddy, P Diddy and Diddy.

Diddy is the CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment, Sean John Clothing and Fragrances, and he is in a joint venture with Ciroc Vodka. He also owns Justins restaurant in New York.

His net worth is reportedly £150million.

He recently got a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

His biggest hit, I'll be Missing You, in 1997 was a eulogy to slain rapper Biggie Smalls.

P. Diddy On Yacht Vacation With Ex Kim Porter: Is Cassie Okay With That?

Google Follow

P. Diddy, aka Sean Combs, spent Christmas on his beautiful $72 million dollar yacht in St. Bart with his children and ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, leading many to wonder if Cassie is okay with Diddy spending this amount of time alone with the mother of his children. Within the last 10 years, there has been an upsurge of couples engaging in activities in a blended family setting, where the exes come along on family vacations and holiday parties. Usually, the ex-wife or ex-girlfriend comes along on the family trips with the ex-husband and his new wife or his new girlfriend, such as in the case of Will Smith, Jada Pinkett, and Will’s ex.

But in P. Diddy’s case, the reverse is true. The rap mogul is on the trip with only his children and his former girlfriend. Meanwhile, present girlfriend Cassie is nowhere in sight.

What are the issues? Fans are asking, where is Cassie? And is Cassie okay with all of this?

The photos show that Kim Porter and P. Diddy were very close and comfortable on the trip. In one paparazzi photo, Kim Porter is dressed in a brightly colored bikini with her foot placed affectionately on P. Diddy’s shoulder as he leans in. In another photo, Kim Porter is sitting on the floor with one leg crossed over one knee as Diddy sits facing her.

Is it possible that more has happened on the trip? Think about it this way: As night falls and the children are asleep, what’s going on between P. Diddy and Kim Porter? The breathtaking night views and the still calm would make for a sensual romantic setting. Human nature would suggest that the two would enjoy some “quality” time together. But, who can know for sure — except Kim Porter and P. Diddy.

However, one can only imagine what was going through Cassie’s mind at the time. Though it has been stated that Cassie decided to spend time with her own family this year, it would be almost impossible to believe that she was not seething with jealousy as she thought about her man enjoying a family getaway with his longtime ex. And it would have been painfully disturbing to see the latest photos of Kim Porter and P. Diddy enjoying such touching moments on the trip.

Some say this is how it is done in Hollywood , and that the common folk have no idea what their world is like. And that what works for them wouldn’t work for the average person.

Others say that P. Diddy is so rich that fighting with him or breaking up with him over petty things would be silly, since he is most likely taking really good care of his women financially.

The bottom line: It’s really no one’s business. Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kim Porter, and Cassie can do whatever they please. But it does make for compelling reading, doesn’t it?

Inside P. Diddy’s iPad-Controlled, Luxury Yacht

Custom ipad app gives rap mogul complete control over $850,000-per-week superyacht..

Of all the iPad apps available, rap mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has the coolest app you’ll never be able to download.

Diddy has a custom-made app that gives him and his family complete control of his new luxury yacht “Solemates.”

CNN says “Solemates” is the first yacht to have this technology. There are 14 iPads to control all on-board entertainment – including “enough flat-screen LCD panels to tile a roof – and climate settings, as well as lights and blinds. The iPad can even summon the crew to bring passengers refreshments.

There’s even an $80,000 integrated light and sound system that converts a gym into a disco dance floor – all controlled from the iPad.

“You won’t find this app for download in the Apple store any time soon,” Rupert Connor, central agent from chartering firm the Luxury Yacht Group, tells CNN. “The captain hands each guest their own iPad when they board, which they get to keep for the entirety of their trip.”

If this isn’t enough to keep passengers entertained, there also is an “inflatable floating trampoline, jet-powered surfboards, James Bond-style underwater ‘sea bobs’ and an shower that provides aromatherapy in four flavors: eucalyptus, pine needle, citrus, and peppermint.

Not too shabby, especially since CNN says the yacht costs Diddy $850,000 per week.

P. Diddy is one of the most iconic figures in hip hop and has contributed to some of the greatest albums in music history. From helping shape the career of a young Biggie Smalls to producing seminal albums for Mary J. Blige and Lil Kim, P. Diddy helped create the sound of 90’s hip hop. Outside of music, he’s also a successful business mogul who built an impressive empire encompassing music, film, media, fashion, liquor, and more.

My favorite P. Diddy album has always been No Way Out, but I’ve always seen him more as a producer and entrepreneur who also happens to rap. He’s still created some iconic songs and deserves all the respect in the world for what he’s contributed to modern music. Here is a closer look at the life and career of P. Diddy.

P. Diddy Birthplace

P. Diddy Combs Birthplace

P. Diddy was born in New York City, New York, on November 4th, 1969. He was born in the Harlem neighborhood of uptown Manhattan but raised mainly in Mount Vernon, NY, a city in Westchester County.

P. Diddy Parents

P. Diddy was the son of Janice Combs (neé Smalls) and Melvin Earl Combs. Janice was a former model and teacher’s assistant. With the help of her son, she later founded Janice Combs Publishing, a music label, and publishing company that owns the rights to more than 1500 recordings.

Melvin Earl Combs was in the Air Force but later became a drug dealer. He had connections to the infamous Frank Lucas, who ran the streets of Harlem in the late ’60s and early ’70s. Melvin was shot and killed while sitting in his car at Central Park West at just 33 years old. Diddy was only two at the time, and his father’s death would influence his decision to stay away from the street lifestyle as a teenager.

P. Diddy Early Life

Diddy was born in Harlem, but after his father’s death, he was raised by his mother in Mount Vernon. He attended Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx, where he played on the football team and won the division title in 1986.

Mount Saint Michael is also where he first earned the nickname “Puffy.” He used to puff out his chest to make his body seem bigger, which is where the name originated.

After graduating high school, Diddy attended Howard University, where he studied business administration. Diddy would host weekly parties and run an airport shuttle service to support himself, a work ethic that would serve him later in life. In 1990, he got an internship at Uptown Records and decided to drop out of college after his sophomore year to pursue a career in music.

P. Diddy Professional Career

Diddy quickly rose through the ranks at Uptown Records and was promoted to the position of Talent Director. He helped to develop major acts like Mary J. Blige and Jodeci, quickly built an impressive roster of talent, and eventually became the label’s vice president.

Bad Boy Records

p diddy combs Bad Boy Records

He was introduced to a young Biggie Smalls in 1992 when the rapper was still just an up-and-coming local talent. He started working with Big on his debut album, Ready to Die. But during the recording, he got into a dispute with Andre Harrell, the founder of Uptown Records, who didn’t want to release Ready to Die because it was too raw and unfiltered.

Feeling stifled creatively, Diddy decided to leave Uptown and start his label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993. Biggie was one of the first acts that Diddy signed to Bad Boy, and Biggie’s debut album Ready to Die was the first release on the new label.

Ready to Die came out on September 13th, 1994, and was executive produced by Diddy. It received both widespread critical acclaim and commercial success and has gone on to be regarded as one of the most influential hip-hop albums of all time. Ready to Die is possibly my all-time favorite rap album because it has a rawness and emotional intimacy that few other artists have ever been able to capture on a record. While the album’s success had much to do with Biggie’s lyrical abilities, Puffy played a major role by channeling Big’s raw talent and teaching him how to write songs that would have commercial appeal.

The success of Ready to Die helped establish Bad Boy as one of the leading record labels in East Coast Hip Hop. The week after Ready to Die dropped, they released Craig Mack Project: Funk Da World, which featured the hit single Flava in Ya Ear.

Following the success of those two early albums, Diddy signed more talent, including Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, and 112, and produced for major acts like Usher, Lil Kim, Boyz II Men, and more.

Puff had a hand in the production of T.L.C.’s seminal album CrazySexyCool, which is now considered a classic in 90’s R&B

does p diddy own a yacht

In 1997, Puff made his debut as a rapper with the album No Way Out. The project featured contributions from huge names like Biggie, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, the L.O.X., Lil Kim, Faith Evans, 112, and many more. It also included the hit singles Can’t No Body Hold Me Down, It’s All About the Benjamins, and Been Around the World. It was also nominated for five Grammy Awards and debuted at number 1 on Billboard.

No Way Out is my favorite Puffy album as a rapper because it showcases what he does best, bringing together some of the greatest minds in hip hop over sleek, memorable production. While I never thought Puffy was the greatest rapper, he does have a fantastic talent for creating unique song ideas and bringing excellent performances out of any artist.

Just a few months before No Way Out came out, Biggie Smalls was shot and killed in a drive-by in Los Angeles. His death deeply impacted Diddy, who had a close personal and professional relationship with the rapper.

Puff Daddy Becomes P. Diddy

does p diddy own a yacht

Diddy returned with his second studio album, Forever, in 1999. The album also had a star-studded feature list, with appearances from Jay-Z, Redman, Lil Kim, Nas, Beanie Sigel, and even the late Biggie Smalls. But Forever received mixed reviews from critics and didn’t do as well commercially as his first album. By this point, the sound that Puffy had created was starting to sound a bit too sleek and commercial and didn’t sound as fresh and innovative as it once did.

In 2001, he changed his stage name from Puff Daddy to P. Diddy and took full control of Bad Boy after ending a joint venture with Arista Records. The last album released with Arista was The Saga Continues…, which debuted at number two on Billboard. Despite its commercial appeal, this was a lackluster Diddy album, in my opinion, and it showed that his focus was more on building his business empire than being a rapper.

In 2002, Diddy became the executive producer of Making the Band on MTV. The show was a massive hit and ran for 12 seasons, with Diddy staying on a producer until 2009. He also released two compilation tapes over the next few years, We Invented the Remix and Bad Boy’s 10th Anniversary…the Hits. He also produced the hit track Shake Ya Tail Feather with Nelly and Murphy Lee for the Bad Boyz II soundtrack, which earned them all a Grammy.

P. Diddy Become Diddy

does p diddy own a yacht

In 2005, P. Diddy dropped the P and started going by just Diddy. He returned with the album Press Play in October 2006, which featured appearances from Christina Aguilera, Nas, Cee-Lo, Big Boi, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, and many more. In my opinion, Press Play was a bit of a return to form for Diddy and showed him doing what he did best – assembling some of the greatest minds in music to create a loosely conceptual body of work.

Throughout the 2000’s Diddy would star in several movies, including Made, Monster’s Ball, Carlito’s Way: Rise to Power and Get Him to the Greek. He also appeared in two episodes of C.S.I.: Miami, playing a lawyer named Derek Powell.

In 2010, he released the highly acclaimed album Last Train to Paris, along with his newly formed group Diddy Dirty Money, which also featured singer-songwriters Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper. The album also featured guest appearances from huge names like Drake, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, and more.

The project received widespread critical acclaim and debuted at number 7 on Billboard. I think Last Train to Paris is a great album and one of the most underrated albums in Diddy’s catalog.

Later Career

Over the next decade, Puffy would focus more on building his business empire and take a step back from music. But he did return with a mixtape called MMM (Money Making Mitch) in 2015, an ode to the character Mitch from the classic film Paid in Full.

The mixtape had guest appearances from everyone from Travis Scott and Big Sean to Jadakiss and Style’s P. While a bit inconsistent and not in the same league as some of Diddy’s early work, MMM was still a solid project, and it was refreshing to hear Puffy back on the mic. The mixtape was meant to build hype for No Way Out 2, the sequel to his classic debut, which has yet to materialize.

In 2017, Diddy announced that he was changing his name to Brother Love, but he later claimed he was joking. Then in 2021, he legally changed his name to Sean Love Combs, although he claims that he’s still going by Diddy professionally.

P. Diddy Video

P. Diddy Family

Diddy has a sister named Keisha Combs, who has decided to stay out of the spotlight. Diddy has never been engaged or married but has six children.

He has an adopted son, Quincy Taylor Brown, the biological son of his longtime girlfriend Kimberly Porter. Diddy legally adopted him when Quincy was four years old. He also has five biological children Justin Combs, Christian Combs, Chance Combs, and twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs.

P. Diddy Dating and Relationship History

Diddy has been involved in many high-profile relationships throughout his career. He dated major stars like Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, and Lori Harvey. He also dated actress Kim Porter for many years, beginning in the 90s, and the couple had three kids together. They originally dated throughout the ’90s before breaking up in 1999, when Puff started dating J-Lo. They reconciled in 2003 and had the two twin girls together in 2006 before splitting up for good in 2007.

After that, he began an on-again, off-again relationship with singer Cassie Ventura. The two dated for over ten years before splitting up in 2018 because Diddy felt he didn’t want to settle down.

Most recently, he’s been dating Yung Miami from the City Girls.

P. Diddy Controversies and Scandals

In 1999, Diddy was charged with second-degree assault and criminal mischief after getting into an altercation with Nas’s manager Steve Stoute over the video for Hate Me Now. Puff was featured on the song and appeared in the video, which briefly showed the two rappers getting crucified. Diddy asked him to leave that part out, but Stoute left it in anyway, leading to an altercation. As a punishment, Diddy was sentenced to one day of anger management.

The same year, Diddy was at a nightclub in Manhattan when gunfire broke out. He and one of his artists, Shyne, were arrested for weapons violations and other charges. Diddy was later found not guilty of all charges, but Shyne was found guilty of five out of eight charges and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Over the years, there have been rumors that Diddy was involved in the 1994 robbery and 1996 murder of 2pac Shakur. In 2008, the Los Angeles Times claimed that Diddy set up 2pac the night he was robbed at Quad Studios in New York City, although they retracted the story. Then, in 2006, 50 Cent released a diss track called Hip Hop, where he implied Diddy knew who killed Biggie Smalls, although they squashed their beef just a few days later.

P. Diddy Net Worth and Career Earnings

does p diddy own a yacht

Diddy has a net worth of approximately $900 million. He owns a vast business empire encompassing music, fashion, film, media, hospitality, technology, etc.

He owns Bad Boy Records, which includes his own projects and all the albums he produced from iconic artists like Biggie Smalls and Mary J. Blige. He is also the owner of Sean Jean, a clothing brand that, at the height of its popularity, made $525 million annually.

Throughout his career, Diddy has made frequent film, and T.V. appearances and even executive produced the hit MTV show Making the Band.

He also owns Combs Enterprises, an umbrella company that owns his many businesses.

In 2007, he helped develop the Vodka brand Ciroc in exchange for 50% of its profits, which turned into a highly lucrative deal. Plus, he owns a majority stake in Revolt T.V., a music-centric television channel.

He’s also invested in successful companies like Aquahydrate, a calorie-free beverage for athletes, and PlayVS, a company that provided the infrastructure for competitive gaming in high schools. Through all these successful ventures, Diddy has amassed a fortune just shy of $1 billion.

P. Diddy Real Estate & Residence History

1n 1998, Diddy bought a $2.45 million home in the Hamptons, which became the location of his famous White Parties, where guests are encouraged to wear white from head to toe.

In 2003, he bought a three-bedroom condo in New York City for $3.82 million and sold it for $5.7 million fourteen years later.

In 2004, he bought a luxurious $7 million home in Alpine, New Jersey, with three master bedroom suites, a sauna, a home theater, an indoor basketball court, a swimming pool, and more.

In 2014, he bought a $39 million 17,000 square foot mansion in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, which features nine bedrooms, a 35-seat theater, a gym, and a wine room.

His most recent purchase came in 2021 when he paid $35 million for a luxury mansion on Star Island in Miami. The property was purchased from Gloria and Emilio Estefan and sits on 1.3 acres of land with 240 feet of waterfront. It has nine bedrooms, a swimming pool, and a private boat dock.

P. Diddy Is Worth $900 Million: Here’s How He Did It

Besides his dominant time in the rap world, he's also expanded into his very own clothing line, vodka company, and television network...

Sean Combs, professionally known as his rap name Puff Daddy or P Diddy, has easily become one of the most successful members of the rap industry. While his pals Jay-Z and Dr. Dre have also earned themselves a spot at the top of the rap tier, Diddy certainly has managed to invest his earnings with music into what has created him a $900 million net worth.

In addition to launching his own record label, Bad Boy Records in 1993, scoring himself a debut album No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, he later expanded into his very own clothing line, vodka company and television network, all of which have contributed to P Diddy's whopping net worth.

While he could easily sit back and let the zeroes expand in his bank account, P Diddy continues to work endlessly to this very day. From film and television appearances all the way to starring in his very own documentary, Diddy is certainly making the most of his money, time, and energy, all while being a father to six kids.

13 He Comes From Humble Beginnings

While Sean Combs may be worth close to $1 billion, he was not always ballin' the way he is now! The rapper comes from extremely humble beginnings where he and his siblings were raised by their grandmother in Harlem, New York. Diddy's dad passed when Combs was only three years old, and his mother worked four jobs to support the family, so he and his sister did not see her all that often.

12 His First Job Was At 12 Years Old

Diddy also began working at 12 years old! Although he didn't have an official job, since he was far too young to enter the workforce, he served as a newspaper delivery boy, doorman, and a lavatory attendant. Diddy began working at such a young age due to the fact that he hated seeing his mother's face whenever she couldn't provide for her family the right way, he said in an interview. His motivation for making money stemmed from the first deal he made with the legal paperboys, striking a deal with them to deliver their newspapers for them, and he'd give back half the money.

11 He Founded Bad Boy Records In 1993

While delivering newspapers gained the rapper six routes in a matter of months, he knew he couldn't do that forever. By 1993, when P Diddy was 24 years old, his passion for music gained enough notoriety and success for him to create his very own record label. The star founded Bad Boy Records and while it had its mix of highs and lows, it never lost its footing. The label managed to do quite well for itself as time went by, and Diddy would soon find himself signing some major acts.

10 Diddy Signed Major Musical Acts

After launching his own record label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993, P Diddy began his newest venture as a rap producer. When it came to signing artists, Diddy managed to score himself a few massive names such as Notorious B.I.G, Faith Evans and Craig Mack, who would secure Diddy his first-ever major song on the Billboard Charts with Mack's "Flava In Ya Ear" in 1994, only a year after creating the label. After this point, there was no looking back for the rapper, and when it came time for Diddy to release an album of his own, it was game over for everyone else.

9 His Debut Album Went Straight To No. 1

Sean Combs, who would soon adopt a number of different names such as Puff Daddy, Diddy and P Diddy, released his very own debut rap album in 1997 titled "Puff Daddy & The Family: No Way Out". Diddy's song I'll Be Missing You" was his very first single released off the album that not only gained massive success but debuted straight to number one on Billboards Hot 100 chart. The song, which stayed at No. 1 for 11 weeks, was a tribute to Notorious B.I.G who had passed that same year.

8 He Owns A Very Successful Clothing Brand

While many people might think that P Diddy gained most of his money from music, he actually managed to gain a $900 million net worth from all of his side projects. Diddy came out with Sean John, his massively successful clothing lin, in 1998 and it instantly turned into an overnight success. The rapper holds fashion shows to debut the newest collections every year and has managed to secure nearly $600 million annually from the line alone.

7 Diddy Has Major Stakes In A Bottled Water Company

In addition to having an uber-successful clothing line, Diddy is also a partner with Aduahydrate, one of the biggest bottled water companies in the world. The rapper backed up the company alongside actor Mark Wahlberg, with over $20 million. Considering how the company has since become the fastest growing bottled water company in the world, it is safe to say that the two have not only made their money back but have since become part owners of a company that is now worth $2 billion.

6 He Also Owns Part Of Revolt TV

It appears P Diddy is easily one of the most intelligent people when it comes to investing his cash. From his own record label, bottled water, clothing line and even his own television network. Diddy is a part-owner of Revolt TV, which focuses on pop culture and entertainment, and has a huge market with a number of social media platforms that have allowed Diddy to rack in millions per year.

5 Diddy Scored His Very Own Documentary

Considering just how crazy P Diddy's life has been, it is no surprise that he managed to score his very own documentary. In 2017, Diddy released "Can't Stop, Won't' Stop: The Bad Boy Story", which focused on Diddy's rags to riches story. Not only did he star in the documentary, but he also produced it. The 80 minute-long production earned Diddy a nimber of MTV nominations for Best Documentary and MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Music Documentary.

4 He's Got His Very Own Line Of Vodka

As if bottled water was not enough, P Diddy has also become the face and part-owner of Ciroc Vodka. Diageo, the creator of the vodka brand, made a marketing deal with P Diddy back in 2007 to push Ciroc as an "ultra-premium" vodka. According to The Financial Times, Diddy gets a complete 50-50 split of the profits from Ciroc sales . This is a huge contributor to Diddy's net worth considering he has managed to increase revenues for the vodka company by a whopping 131% in the United States alone.

2 He Is A Judge On FOX's 'The Four'

If Diddy isn't creating music or investing in a number of products available across the globe, you can catch him on your television screens every single week! The rapper joined the panel of judges for the FOX singing competition "The Four". Considering Diddy is without a doubt one of the biggest names in the music industry, it would only make sense for him to a part of the show, which earns him quite a pretty paycheck.

1 He Has Made Several Movie Appearances

While Diddy himself does not consider himself an actor by any means, that has not stopped him from making cameos and taking on roles in a number of films. One of Diddy's most recognized movies is the comedy film "Get Him To The Greek" starring Russel Brand and Jonah Hill. Although his films don't make Diddy his million, it sure does help and we're certain that his bank account is just as happy regardless of the size of the role.
