For many people, the word ‘Yacht’ relates to a single-hulled boat (aka. Monohull). With this idea, there may be a preconception that all yachts sway a lot in the water. Although this is true to some extent – a charter catamaran is a lot more stable in the water as a result of its two hulls. There is no denying the advantages of a sailing catamaran .

Here are a few reasons why:

While many ‘cruisers’ prefer to opt for the traditional monohulls, for a charter, there is no denying the advantages of a sailing catamaran.

Here’s a few reasons why:

• Catamarans sway and swing a lot less than Monohulls ,therefore seasickness is hardly ever an issue
• Especially for families with children Sailing Catamarans are much safer than Monohulls. Because they don’t heel and rock it is almost impossible to fall overboard. Catamarans are very stable and have natural buoyancy, making them just about unsinkable.
• SCUBA Diving and Sailing! Only Catamarans offer ample flat space to gear up for scuba diving and offer a comfortable and safe entry into the sea.
• Catamarans sail faster than Monohulls, you will have less travelling time and more time to enjoy at the islands
• Because Catamarans don’t need a keel the yachts draft is shallow, allowing the boat to anchor in lagoons and shallow sandy spots near reefs giving their guest the comfort and luxury to go snorkeling or diving right from the yacht’s swimming platform.
• Why shower in the bathroom if you have a fresh water shower on deck. Enjoy the incredible view while showering in the fresh air. On a Catamaran this is the norme
• During your sailing cruise you want to spend most of the time in the shade on deck relaxing at a comfortable spot. Catamarans have much more and especially flat and even deck space. It is easy to put up awnings to create shade and there is ample space for cushions and bean bags to provide comfortable seating for all guests aboard a sailing catamaran.

Information about the boat “Lady Sarah”

The boat was built in 2017 and designed specifically for Phuket sunset trips as it can rise quickly out of the water and plane with ease. that offers a normal cruise speed of 22 – 26 knots The boat has two 900 liter of fuel as well as 200 liters of water. Life jackets and emergency first aid kit & Oxygen are fitted for safety.

With plenty of deck space, the indoor seating areas provide plenty of space to relax and enjoy the charter.

Catamaran safety rules

Private Catamaran trips are suitable for age 4 years up to 60 years. However, this trip is not available for a child under 1 year, pregnant women, or women who may be trying to become pregnant. This trip is not suitable for any person with spinal, back, or neck problems. The highlights of the trip are freediving, snorkeling, swimming, and sightseeing, and we recommend that you wear a life jacket while the boat is moving, the trip can involve walking on the island and sightseeing. The daily tour itineraries can be changed depending on the local weather condition, this will be decided by the tour leader and boat captain on your trip.

Experience a party cruise on board our luxury catamaran during this half-day sunset tour from Phuket. Our vessel is like a VIP lounge club on the water and will take you to some of Southern Thailand’s most popular tropical islands. Mingle with like-minded travellers as you enjoy the party atmosphere in one of the world’s most beautiful corners.

While the DJ plays upbeat tunes, you can eat, drink and party on board as you sail between each of the islands. Our first stop is Coral Island where you’ll have time to swim and snorkel before feasting on a delicious buffet.

If you’re feeling active, you can participate in a range of additional water sports, such as jet-skiing, parasailing and banana boating. Please let us know ahead of time and we can book these for you!

Our next destination is Racha Yai Island where you’ll have more time to snorkel and swim or can opt to stroll along its white sandy beach. On return to Phuket, we’ll sail past Promthep Cape as the sun sets and (weather permitting) be treated to unforgettable views.

Between 11:00 and 11:30 am, it’s time to board your catamaran at the Chalong Pier where you will be welcomed with a cocktail and fresh towel. Find a comfortable seat on one of the day beds as we set sail for Coral Island, with a delicious buffet served onboard.

On arrival at Coral Island, you’ll have plenty of time (1.5 hours) to swim, snorkel and participate in a range of water activities before we continue to Racha Yai Island. During the journey, relax on one of the day beds while enjoying a drink and soaking up the party atmosphere.

Around 3:00 pm, we will arrive at Racha Yai Island for another swimming and snorkelling session. Alternatively, you may want to stretch your legs with a walk on the island’s idyllic, white sandy beach.

At 4:15 pm, we’ll begin sailing back to Chalong Pier while being treated to a magnificent sunset over Prompthep Cape. We’ll arrive back at the Chalong Pier around 6:30 pm where your luxury catamaran party cruise ends.

From Racha island you make your way back to Phuket past Promthep Cap (Phukets very famous southern viewpoint) as the sun sets.

• 7.30 AM – 8.00 AM: Transportation. We start this amazing and Exclusive Phi Phi island Catamaran tour with pick up from your hotel and transfer to the pier. Here you will be welcome at our private lounge and you will enjoy registration, snacks, bakery, and drinks while listening to the details of the tour.
• 9.30 AM – 5.00 PM: After our guide’s briefing we prepare to get on board the catamaran and we depart to Phi phi island to arrive at snorkeling best points heading to Loh Sama Bay and to Pih Lee lagoon. Enjoy swimming with thousands of fishes, relaxing and sightseeing the best nature on Phi Phi island cruising around the best snorkeling points including of course the famous Maya Bay, we will visit all the most wonderful locations and the white sandy beach with perfect scenery. Enjoy a great quality food lunch on Phi Phi Don. After witnessing all the amazing natural phenomena and locations in Phi Phi islands it’s time to say goodbye and leave to arrive at Khai island for another amazing moment of relaxation and snorkeling.
• Later on, we depart from Khai island arriving back at Phuket pier and transfer you back to your Hotel.

IMPORTANT :

Due to the sea condition in the off-tourism season (rainy season, 16th MAY 2023 to 30th September 2023), Exclusive Phi Phi island Catamaran tour will restrict some clients for safety reasons. Please see below tourist restrictions:

• On this tour we will not accept any client under the following condition:
• 1. Guests over 60 years old with any walking difficulty.
• 2. Pregnant women.
• 3. Children under 3 years old who cannot walk independently.
• 4. People with disabilities.

The itinerary and timing above are approximate and may be modified without notice to fit the tide and local weather conditions.
