Tragedia sfiorata a Forte dei Marmi, nota località balneare in provincia di Lucca: una turista ha rischiato di annegare per raggiungere a nuoto lo yacht con a bordo Leonardo DiCaprio . La donna, di nazionalità spagnola, è stata soccorsa dai bagnini di uno stabilimento. L’episodio si è verificato venerdì 17 giugno.

Rischia di annegare per raggiungere lo yacht con DiCaprio a Forte dei Marmi

Lo yacht, in cui risulta essere ospite l’attore Leonardo DiCaprio, da qualche giorno è ormeggiato al largo di Forte dei Marmi. La donna di 50 anni, in vacanza in Versilia e grande fan della star hollywoodiana, una volta venuta a conoscenza della sua presenza a bordo ha quindi pensato di avvicinarsi nuotando fino all’imbarcazione . Ma, mentre era in acqua, ha avuto un malore e ha rischiato di annegare .

Provvidenziale l’intervento di alcuni bagnini di uno stabilimento balneare della famosa località turistica, che l’hanno soccorsa e portata a riva in stato di ipotermia. La 50enne è stata quindi trasportata in ambulanza al pronto soccorso dell’ospedale Versilia, da cui è stata dimessa dopo i dovuti accertamenti. Stando a quanto riferito da Il Tirreno , si sarebbe lamentata per non essere stata salvata dall’equipaggio della nave.

Leonardo DiCaprio in Italia

Leonardo DiCaprio è in vacanza in Italia con la famiglia e gli amici più stretti, dove si sta godendo del meritato relax. Dopo una visita a Caserta, il 12 giugno era arrivato a Firenze, dove è stato raggiunto anche da Tobey Maguire.

Nei giorni scorsi del divo di Hollywood si era parlato anche in merito al nuovo spot della Fiat 600 , di cui l’attore è testimonial, che sarebbe stato girato in Salento. A presentarsi per l’occasione, però, non era stato DiCaprio, ma la sua controfigura.

Environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio expanded his carbon footprint by jetting from Miami to New York — and back — in just one day to co-host a starry charity event.

After attending the COP26 Climate Summit in Scotland last month, the Oscar-winner took a jet roundtrip from Miami to NYC and back on Wednesday, according to multiple sources.

DiCaprio, 47, has been enjoying Art Basel in Miami Beach this week. On Tuesday, he was seen viewing high-end art, and later partying into the night with his longtime friend, gallerist Helly Nahmad.

On Wednesday, the “Titantic” star hosted a benefit with Sean Penn at Soho Beach House, where tickets cost up to a rumored $25,000 per couple.

The event was to benefit Penn’s charity CORE [Community Organized Relief Effort], and its COVID-19 programs in Latin America.

Guests were told that DiCaprio had been forced to fly back to New York earlier that day, and was returning to Miami on a flight that very evening, but had been delayed on board.

Insiders said DiCaprio valiantly did his best to raise money for the event, and phoned in bids from the plane for the auction, helping to raise over $500,000 for CORE.

While the star — who eventually made it off his jet to the event by around 11p.m. — did raise a lot of money for the charity, the necessity of his private travels were questioned by some guests. It was not immediately clear if he flew private or commercial.

Penn’s CORE also works on disaster relief. Its Web site states, “From hurricanes to wildfires, it’s impossible to ignore climate change’s role in causing natural disasters. We are committed to a future where our environment is no longer at the root of the crisis, but rather a system of support.”

Meanwhile DiCaprio has made fighting climate change and carbon emissions his personal mission.

When the actor took home the Oscar for best actor in 2016, he said in his acceptance speech, “Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating.”

He added: “We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters, but who speak for all of humanity, for the indigenous people of the world, for the billions and billions of underprivileged people out there who would be most affected by this.”

While DiCaprio has claimed to be a “CarbonNeutral citizen,” for years his critics have noted his extensive use of private jets to travel the world.

In 2014 he reportedly rented the world’s fifth largest yacht owned by a UAE oil tycoon, to watch the World Cup in Brazil.

In 2016 he was branded a “climate hypocrite” after Page Six exclusively revealed he took a private jet from Cannes , France, to New York to accept an environmental award — and then immediately flew straight back from New York to France on another jet for the model-packed glitzy Cinema Against AIDS gala for the charity amfAR — where he gave a speech.

On the eve of COP26 in late October, he also tweeted, “The climate crisis is here. #COP26 must be a turning point to protect people and the planet. Leaders, the world is watching and urging you to rise to this moment. There’s no time to lose. #ActNow.”

A rep for DiCaprio declined to comment on his jet round trip, but insiders said the actor has recent been traveling more often on commercial, scheduled jets, rather than private jets to cut his carbon footprint.

It was earlier revealed he flew commercial to COP26 in Scotland to meet with world leaders including Britain’s Prince Charles.

Guests at Penn’s CORE event in Miami Beach also included Michael Braun, Dylan Penn, Alan Faena, Francisco Costa, Patricia Velasquez, Marc Anthony, Soleil Moon Frye and Balthazar Getty.

Later in the night, DiCaprio and Penn headed to the Faena Forum where Offset, Quavo and Kid Cudi partied until 4a.m. DiCaprio left the party around 1a.m. and was reportedly seen getting into a car with a group of women.

Leonardo DiCaprio Throws Private Party on Superyacht TOPAZ

Superyacht fan and A-List superstar Leonardo DiCaprio was one of a lucky few people in the world allowed to charter the 147m/482 TOPAZ in which he hosted a lavish party on board last month.

As reported on the New York Daily News website, the 80’s-themed party which is thought to have been held in New York in mid-April with around 100 guests welcomed aboard including actor’s Jamie Foxx and Orlando Bloom. 

A crew of more than 80 are said to have been on-hand to serve an undoubtedly impressive spread of fine food, champagne and cocktails whilst the VIP part-goers were entertained into the early hours. ‘Leo wore a velour pantsuit to the ’80s-themed party’, said one insider, adding that DiCaprio hired additional ‘deejays, decor, designers and extra security’ especially for the event.

The 2012-launched superyacht TOPAZ was built by Lürssen to a design by Tim Heywood and is currently ranked 5th amongst the largest superyachts in the world. A spectacular setting for any event, she has very occasionally been made available for rent by her UAE-based Owner to a hand-selected elite few but is not officially available on the global charter fleet.  

DiCaprio is no stranger to superyachts, having shot a number of scenes for ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ on board the 44m/144’ MY LADY M and is regularly seen enjoying time on board charter yachts during prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival .

The largest superyacht officially marketed for charter is SERENE , the 133m Italian motor yacht built by Fincantieri, she can accommodate 24 charter guests in her 12 sumptuous staterooms.  Charter rates are from €3,750,000 per week plus expenses.

Leonardo DiCaprio who has recently won an Academy Award for his role in The Revenant has thrown a yacht party together with his long-time friend and fellow thespian, Tobey Maguire in an effort to raise environmental awareness .

The yacht party for the extremely important cause took place in a small luxury charter dubbed as Impromptu Yacht charter, in St. Tropez, in the South of France. The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation was able to raise $30 million and still counting for the protecting of the environment.

This is the fourth annual charity auction that his foundation has launched and counted with the presented of several famous Hollywood stars, including  Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Sean Penn, Tom Hanks, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Penélope Cruz, Uma Thurman and Emma Stone. The auction also had a surprise performance from Madonna and set by Lenny Kravitz. In addition, the event also saw a Titanic reunion between DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Billy Zane.

The auction will continue online and bidding will commence on August 10 and will run until the 23rd, so you still have lots of time to participate and protect the well-being of all Earth’s inhabitants. You can take a look at the items that are going to be auctioned HERE !

4. Impromptu - Leonardo DiCaprio - 250 mila euro a settimana

Quarta posizione per «Impromptu», lo yacht più amato da Leonardo DiCaprio. L’attore, gelosissimo della sua privacy, ama trascorrere le giornate sull’imbarcazione lontano dai paparazzi. Su Impromptu, l’attore può invitare fino 11 amici, approfittare dei vini presenti nella cantina della barca gustandoli in uno dei tanti saloni dell’imbarcazione. Prezzo del noleggio: da 250 mila euro a settimana.

Leonardo DiCaprio is no stranger to having a good time, and he is again living it up in Miami on a yacht owned by a Swedish billionaire.

The yacht, named Vava II, is owned by Ernesto Bertarelli and is valued at around 150 million dollars. It was the venue of a big bash on Wednesday night in Miami.

DiCaprio is single

The 48-year-old DiCaprio is single since splitting from Camila Morrone in the summer as she turned 25 in June, and he has been linked with model Gigi Hadid despite her 27 years of age being older than his usual partners.

Page Six have reported that the party in Miami that DiCaprio attended began after midnight and was in full-swing under around 5am, with Venus and Serena Williams in attendance. Other notable attendees included Jared Leto, Vito Schnabel, Reilly Opelka, Vivi Nevo and Paolo Zampoli .

The same outlet claims that there were something in the region of 100 models in attendance too.

No underwear

Page Six report that a source told them that "there were like a hundred models. I have literally never seen more models in my life, no one was 'normal' looking. It was models, models, models".

"There was a group of girls that were wearing beaded dresses with nothing underneath at all, no underwear. You could see everything," another source reportedly said.

Page Six also claim that DiCaprio was overheard chatting with Bertarelli about "saving the oceans".

That is despite a Fast Company report in 2021 highlighting that "a superyacht with a permanent crew, helicopter pad, submarines, and pools emits about 7,020 tons of CO2 a year, according to our calculations, making it by far the worst asset to own from an environmental standpoint".

DiCaprio had been at a party on the same yacht in St. Tropez in the summer of 2022.

Just Try to Keep Leonardo DiCaprio Off a Yacht, I Dare You

Did you have a nice little New Year’s holiday? Did you watch the whole of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in one big gulp? Maybe you drove somewhere new since flying is so complicated these days. Off to a ski resort a few hours north as the interstate flies, hm? Spent a couple precious hours on this earth drying out cold, wet socks from the last run down the mountain, maybe? Well, that all sounds lovely, but unfortunately for mere mortals everywhere, it will never be as lovely as what Leonardo DiCaprio is up to. 

Leonardo DiCaprio! He of the movies fame. You know, Titanic. What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Catch Me If You Can. The Revenant. Most recently, the Adam McKay’s Don’t Look Up . This guy, would you believe it, was on a yacht. Of course you believe it. This guy loves yachts . The man simply cannot get enough of them. He is like an oenophile, traversing the lands, grabbing up whatever fermented grapes Dionysus has left us down here. Like, if there is a rare and elegant wine, he’s tried it or wants to try it—but with yachts. 

So this week he’s been chartering Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli ’s yacht, which is called Vava II, in St. Barts. The Vava II has its own Wikipedia page . It’s reported to cost $150 million and sleep about 50 guests and crew members, and frankly, that’s a lot for a boat! Those things are on water! 

Friend and capo of the fabled Pussy Posse Lukas Haas was there, as was DiCaprio’s girlfriend, 24-year-old Camila Morrone. Per the Daily Mail , they even went shopping with the editor in chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, which I imagine is something like shooting hoops with LeBron James.  

Before all the shopping and the lounging on deck chairs with Haas and the strolling around St. Barts, DiCaprio celebrated New Year’s on the island alongside Jeff Bezos and partner Lauren Sanchez, Drake, and yacht owner himself Bertarelli. It is where this historic photo was taken.

Forte dei Marmi, rischia di annegare pur di arrivare a nuoto allo yacht di DiCaprio

L’ardita fan salvata dai bagnini, ma si è anche lamentata per non essere stata salvata dall’equipaggio della nave del suo mito

FORTE DEI MARMI.  Ha nuotato fino al largo, intenzionata a raggiungere il suo idolo Leonardo DiCaprio, ospite sullo yacht Lac Leman. Ma, superate le boe, si è sentita venire meno, e ha chiesto aiuto. L’episodio si è consumato ieri pomeriggio nello specchio di mare di fronte al Bagno Comunale di Ponente di Forte dei Marmi, le Dune, davanti al quale staziona da alcuni giorni lo yacht su cui risulta essere ospite la stella di Hollywood. La quale, sempre secondo indiscrezioni, nel corso della giornata avrebbe incontrato anche Andrea Bocelli (mentre la sera precedente, quella di giovedì 15 giugno, è stato notato a cena al Maitò con l’amico e attore Tobey Maguire, interprete di Spiderman). Intorno alle quattro del pomeriggio, una cinquantenne di origine spagnola si è messa in acqua per raggiungere a nuoto la barca che ospitava DiCaprio sotto lo sguardo prima incuriosito poi preoccupato dei bagnini dello stabilimento del bagno Comunale, Andrea Bertacchi e Riccardo Iacopetti, i quali – a bordo della moto d’acqua provvista di apposta lettiga di salvataggio – si sono diretti verso la donna, per portarla in salvo. L’hanno raggiunta quando si trovava già un centinaio di metri oltre le boe; era in evidente stato di difficoltà e con un principio di ipotermia. Per salvarla si sarebbe mosso, secondo quanto viene raccontato, anche il tender dello yacht, da dove era stata notata la donna in difficoltà che si dirigeva verso l’imbarcazione. A portarla a riva sono stati i due bagnini, che avevano allertato il 118. L’ambulanza ha accompagnato la donna al pronto soccorso dove la donna è stata dimessa dopo gli accertamenti del caso, risultati negativi, e dopo che i parametri erano tornati nella norma. La donna si è detta spaventata, ma anche delusa: in primo luogo per non aver raggiunto DiCaprio e non averlo incontrato, seppure in quel modo rocambolesco. Una turista spagnola di 50 anni stava per annegare a forte dei marmi nel tentativo di raggiungere a nuoto lo yacht di leonardo dicaprio.

La disavventura, verificatasi qualche ora fa a Forte dei Marmi, sarebbe potuta costare carissima a una turista spagnola che si trovava in Versilia insieme ad alcuni amici. La donna, appreso proprio da un amico che la star di Hollywood era presente a Forte dei Marmi col suo yacht, non si è tirata indietro nel farsi una nuotata per raggiungerlo.

Tuffatasi in mare, la donna ha cominciato la traversata alla volta dello yacht ormeggiato al largo della costa, ma qualcosa non è andato come sperato. Dopo aver superato le boe, infatti, un malore ha frenato la 50enne che per poco, non fossero intervenuti in tempo i soccorsi, non l’è costato la vita.

A mettere in salvo la donna spagnola sono stati i bagnini di uno degli stabilimenti balneari di Forte dei Marmi che dalla spiaggia si sono resi conto che qualcosa non stesse andando per il verso giusto.

Raggiunta la 50enne, i bagnini l’hanno messa in salvo e trasportata immediatamente in ospedale con l’aiuto del 118 arrivato celermente. La donna, secondo quanto si apprende, ha accusato un malore dovuto allo stato di ipotermia che l’ha colpita durante la traversata verso lo yacht di Leonardo DiCaprio.

Ora la 50enne spagnola si trova ricoverata in un ospedale della Versilia.

L’attore in vacanza in Italia

E protagonista indiretto di questa tragedia sfiorata è anche Leonardo DiCaprio, che in questi giorni si trova in vacanza in Italia col collega e amico Tobey Maguire . Il 15 giugno i due attori, insieme nel nuovo film di Martin Scorsese Killers of the flower moon, erano infatti a cena Forte dei Marmi dove stanno soggiornando a bordo dello yacht di proprietà del protagonista di “Titanic”.

Non solo relax e vita mondana però per le due star di Hollywood che nei giorni scorsi hanno visitato il museo e la casa di Leonardo a Vinci a Firenze così come le Cappelle medicee, il museo del Bargello e gli Uffizi. Pochi giorni fa erano stati anche alla Reggia di Caserta

Leonardo DiCaprio ha salvato un naufrago con il suo yacht, alla faccia del Titanic

L'attore si trovava in vacanza nel mar dei caraibi e, dopo una notte di ricerche, ha recuperato un marinaio disperso in mare da 11 ore: "c'era una probabilità su 1 miliardo di salvarlo", ha detto il capitano della nave, rolling stone it.

Lo scorso 30 dicembre, Leonardo DiCaprio ha salvato salvato la vita a un marinaio 24enne caduto da una nave da crociera nelle acque dei Caraibi vicino all’isola di St Martin. Come riferito dal Sun , il ragazzo era ubriaco nel momento della caduta in mare. Disperso per circa 11 ore, il marinaio è stato salvato dalla nave guidata dalla star di Hollywood, che si trovava in vacanza insieme alla fidanzata Camila Morrone.

“Lo yacht di Leonardo era l’unica barca che si è impegnata a cercarlo al largo dell’isola di St Barts”, riporta il quotidiano inglese citando una fonte, “la lussuosa imbarcazione dell’attore ha navigato nel mare agitato, trovandolo all’alba poco prima dell’arrivo di una tempesta”. Stando al racconto di un testimone, “il capitano della nave, in preda al panico, aveva inviato un messaggio di emergenza, e Leonardo e la sua squadra sono stati gli unici a rispondere. Erano l’unica chance per quel poveretto di salvarsi”. Chance che, secondo le fonti, il capitano della nave aveva stabilito attorno a “una su un miliardo”. Tuttavia, dopo una notte intera di ricerche, il naufrago è stato avvistato “gravemente disidratato” nei pressi dell’isola di Saba, dove la nave di DiCaprio è riuscita a recuperarlo, a dargli cibo, acqua e vestiti asciutti prima di contattare la guardia costiera e dare la buona notizia.

Insomma, una specie di rivincita per DiCaprio, che nella storia del marinaio francese deve aver rivisto per un attimo le vicende del ‘suo’ Jack interpretato in Titanic . E sarà forse per quanto accaduto che, durante la cerimonia di premiazione ai Golden Globes 2020 , Brad Pitt ha voluto dedicare la statuetta assegnatagli come miglior attore non protagonista proprio al suo compagno di set per C’era una volta ad Hollywood , concludendo il suo discorso con “E comunque, io avrei condiviso con te la zattera”, riferendosi proprio alla scena più celebre del film diretto da James Cameron.

Learn About Leonard DiCaprio's Yacht: Topaz

When you think about Leonardo DiCaprio, images of an eco-conscious crusader who is out to improve the health of the planet may first emerge. Recent rumors that Leo plans to attend the 2018 World Cup events in Brazil aboard a yacht seem a bit contradictory because of the pollution that these floating luxury hotels churn into the air and water.

While some have criticized him for indulging in a bit of heaven at the expense of the planet, if he wasn't doing it, somebody else would be. At least he's making an attempt to help the situation when he can. All of that aside, we were curious to find out more about Leonardo DiCaprio's Yacht, and here is what we discovered.

Leo doesn't own the yacht

DiCaprio hasn't actually purchased a yacht. Instead, he rented it from owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Mansour is a billionaire politician who is the current prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.

The mega yacht was custom built according to his grand and luxurious specifications and named the Topaz. Until recently, the interior of the yacht has remained a well-guarded secret. We've learned some juicy tidbits that we're happy to share.

Specifications of the Topaz

The super yacht measures a total of 453 feet in length with a cost of more than $200 million in USD to build and an estimated value of $678 million. This isn't the biggest yacht that Mr. DiCaprio has chartered, but it's likely to be one of the most luxurious.

The yacht is powered by four M90 diesel engines which generate approximately 48,000 horse power. The ship made its maiden launch in 2012 and according to sources, DiCaprio also rented it in 2014 just 2 years into its service run.

The Topaz is rumored to be one of the most extravagant yachts in the world . It offers smooth sailing with the installation of zero speed stabilizers. It comes fully outfitted with lifts that ferry guests comfortably among the eight deck levels to the host of amenities that are scattered throughout the massive vessel.

It is decked out in full luxury and comfort with a cinema, two hot tubs, air conditioning throughout, three swimming pools, a fitness hall, underwater lights, an ample sized conference room and a well hidden interior design that is left up to our imaginations.

Leo won't be making the trip alone. We've learned that he has a list of guests that will accompany him on thee yacht as he enjoys the football tournament in Brazil.

There were 21 of his friends, all of millionaire status mind you, invited to enjoy the amenities. It's been reported that DiCaprio and his pals hopped a jet and flew to Rio de Janeiro to arrive one day prior to kick off of the Brazil World cup.

The controversy the rental has stirred

While some are happy that Leo had a nice luxury vacation , others are upset about the seeming nose thumb to environmentalists who think his actions are careless.

There has been a degree of judgment and sentiments of disappointment to outright damnation sent his way. Activists point out that Leo's private jet that made thee 8000 mile trip left a hefty carbon footprint. This is besides the emissions put out from the luxury mega yacht. They're citing his actions as not being environmentally responsible.

Why the uproar?

The backlash has come after the fact that DiCaprio made a plea to viewers to work with one another to help fight climate change when he accepted his first ever Oscar award. DiCaprio's involvement in Hollywood environmentalism can't be denied.

He dedicates time to fly here and there to pick up awards for his contributions to help clean up the environment, but when he flies to and fro, his carbon footprint grows.

There has been a volley of insults and comments disapproving of Leo's actions, but isn't this how Hollywood environmentalism works? It's kinda tough to get to Brazil without flying or chartering a boat to take you there.

It's a drama that has been ongoing since Leo's plans were first revealed but it seems that he could at least score a few points for encouraging us all to make some kind of effort.

It's not easy being the center of attention and there are times when best intentions draw a backlash of negativism, despite the fact that most of us rely on some type of carbon emitting transportation resources.

Leonardo DiCaprio helps save man who fell overboard in the Caribbean

Leonardo DiCaprio got to play a real-life hero to a man who fell off a yacht in the Caribbean and had to tread water for hours. The Oscar-winning actor, his girlfriend and their friends were on a luxury vessel last week when an emergency call went out asking for help looking for the man, Britain's The Sun newspaper reported .

The vessel carrying DiCaprio and his crew was near the island of St. Bart's, and the man fell overboard near the neighboring island of St. Martin, according to the Sun. "The captain of his ship sent out a panicked emergency message and Leonardo and his team agreed to look for the poor guy," a source told the newspaper.

The man was found near Saba island, south of St. Martin, the Sun reported. He was severely dehydrated and had been treading water for 11 hours, the source told the newspaper.

"I should have died," the man reportedly said after he was rescued. The luxury vessel's crew gave him food and dry clothes before handing him off to authorities.

Leonardo DiCaprio , tra gli scapoli più ambiti di Hollywood, sta trascorrendo del tempo su uno yacht di lusso circondato da molte donne sexy in bikini. L'attore è stato infatti immortalato dai paparazzi mentre si rilassa in queste prime giornate del 2023, insieme ad alcuni amici e affascinanti ospiti.

Secondo quanto riportato da TMZ, un Leonardo DiCaprio a petto nudo è stato avvistato lunedì a St. Barts mentre chiacchierava con alcune modelle, a bordo dell'imbarcazione, prima di fare un tuffo e poi sdraiarsi al sole. Una delle ragazze presenti sullo yacht era Madison Headrick, la fidanzata di Joe Nahmad, amico dell'attore premio Oscar.

Intanto, dopo la fine della sua storia con Camila Morrone, nel mese di agosto, e dopo più di quattro anni insieme, Leonardo DiCaprio avrebbe trascorso del tempo con la top model 27enne Gigi Hadid.

Ils partagent leur temps entre les plages et le superyacht, estimé à 130 millions d’euros, servi par 30 membres d’équipage, qui comprend notamment une piscine, une salle de sport et de cinéma, et plusieurs ponts dont un héliport. À lui seul, le plein de carburant revient à plus de 300 000 euros…

Amateur de jets privés

Le mélange des genres fait évidemment désordre, même si DiCaprio a le droit de s’octroyer des vacances comme tout le monde. Mais il aurait pu mieux choisir son point de chute… Il y a cinq ans, il s’était déjà reçu une volée de bois vert en plein Festival de Cannes en faisant un aller-retour en jet privé pour aller recevoir un prix écolo à New York – son agent avait alors tenté de désamorcer la polémique en expliquant qu’il avait profité d’un vol qui devait, de toute façon, avoir lieu… Là encore, son entourage est monté au créneau pour préciser que l’acteur n’était que l’un des nombreux invités sur le yacht et qu’il ne possédait pas le navire ni ne l’avait loué.

Faut-il jeter la pierre à DiCaprio ? Il faut lui reconnaître un réel engagement pour l’écologie, la défense de la nature et des espèces menacées à travers sa fondation philanthropique, créée en 1998 et devenue depuis une organisation majeure dans la lutte pour l’environnement. L’acteur a soutenu des dizaines de projets dans une cinquantaine de pays, comme la protection des tigres au Népal , la reforestation des forêts du Brésil, la préservation de la forêt tropicale en Indonésie , la lutte contre le braconnage au Gabon , la mise en place de la plus grande réserve maritime du monde dans le Pacifique… Au total, à date, ce sont 80 millions d’euros qui ont été investis sous forme de dons dans la protection de la nature depuis plus de vingt ans. Cela vaut bien l’absolution.
