Lands End Restaurant

Ratings and reviews, food and ambience, location and contact.

I booked a table for dinner at the Lands End Restaurant for my partner and I and it was very nice. The waiters were extremely professional and attentive. We ordered the Chicken Supreme and the Gnocchi followed by the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie.... The main meals were nice, well cooked and presented very well, I'm not sure they were worth the price but overall a very good meal. The waiter asked us if we were celebrating anything while in London and we let him know we came out for my partners birthday but he had also proposed to me that day too. The waiter congratulates us and brought out our desserts with a candle to celebrate my partners birthday and some celebration chocolates for my brownie. This was a very lovely gensture and it was really appreciated. If you'd like a unique dining experience with high quality service, I'd recommend coming to the Lands End Restaurant. More

sunborn yacht restaurant

Stayed at the yacht hotel last night as a Xmas present for my wife and we decided to book a table in the restaurant. Overall excellent service from all the staff, food was really very good, I had the beetroot and goats cheese to start... which really was very good. We both then had the rib eye steak which was one of the nicest steaks we have ever had. Overall a great atmosphere in a unique location with very good service and excellent food, would highly recommend. More

We are both vegan and gluten free and always on the look out for exciting places to eat. We were recommended Land's End Restaurant. We ordered the Cauliflower, Tofu & Cashew Laksa, Rice Noodles, Coriander Poppadum, Toasted Mustard Seeds, Masala Onions. We didn't realise till... half way through the meal that what we ordered didn't come to our table the way it was described in the menu.. No tofu, rice noodles or poppadoms with our meal, we didn't complain because what we had was delicious anyway. But interested to know why certain ingredients were missing? The setting is spectacular, staff were efficient, great selection of drinks, coffee etc. More

sunborn yacht restaurant

My husband booked this restaurant while we were staying on the Sunborn Hotel. The restaurant had 4 weeks notice that I was GF and said they could cater for me. The eve didn’t start well when we decided to have pre dinner drinks in the... bar but when ordering my husband was told that they had no Guinness, so he had to have a pale ale. We then went up to the restaurant where the maitre d greeted us asking which one needed a GF menu, my husband told her it was me and she handed me a menu, which I assumed was GF but on inspection realised it was the same as my husbands. We ordered drinks while trying to work out what looked like a safe choice, but were told that the Rose was unavailable, so we made another choice. While waiting for our drinks the next table ordered a different bottle wine but again were told it was unavailable!! I ordered the blade of beef which sounded like a good choice but asked the waiter to check for me, he soon returned to say that the chef said that as it is cooked in beer it was not GF, I said that as it was only cooked in beer it would be ok, the waiter soon returned to say that the beef had breadcrumbs on it, at this point I asked what they could offer me that was GF, the waiter said he would need to ask the chef. By now I was getting hungry and couldn’t understand why as we had booked 4 weeks in advance they couldn’t have already put together a menu which they could offer me. The meal was extremely tasty but the lead up to the meal being served had put me in a pretty bad mood and I wished we had stopped at one of the wonderful restaurants on our travels during the day. We were asked if we would like desert once we had finished our main meal and I said yes but what could they offer me, well sorbet or cheese ( no biscuits to go with it). My reply was no thank you and we paid the bill, which was a ridiculous price for a one course meal with 2 glasses of wine, one of which was not even what I wanted. I would most definitely not recommend this overpriced restaurant, very little choice of food and absolutely no choice for anyone who is GF. A Birthday weekend spoilt by an overpriced restaurant which didn’t bother to do its homework!! More

We went to the lands End restaurant for lunch yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Firstly, I’d just like to say the staff were very friendly but the attention to detail was lacking. We were shown to our table which was basically facing a wall... and the cash register and we asked to have a table nearer to the window if at all possible which they happily did. Why not offer customers these tables anyway if they are available? You are paying an awful lot of money to have lunch there and part of being on a yacht is the view of the water!! Our food was ok but expensive but we knew that when we booked it. Our wine wasn’t topped up once, we wasn’t offered a dessert or coffee and our plates were left in front of us until we got the bill. I have to agree with another reviewer that paper napkins doesn’t really do it for me either!!! As I said earlier, the staff were polite but at one point it was only us and another couple in the restaurant I’d of thought they could of cleared our plates at the very least. The yacht itself was nice and I’m glad I’ve seen it but I wouldn’t go back there again sadly. More

Booked for our anniversary and did let the restaurant know in advance that the occasion was such but they did nothing to make it special. We had to request a window view table so my partner could see the views but this wasn’t very forthcoming.... To compound matters, the restaurant didn’t have sea bass which we found out only after placing the order. My partner was ever so disappointed and so was I as it was the only meal on the menu we fancied. One positive was the waiter who was apologetic, approachable and friendly. More

Fantastic setting on the yacht Hotel where we were staying with fantastic views. However let down by impersonal poor service and underwhelming food. Not once being offered a second drink after we sat down, and waiters going out of their way to avoid eye contact... and seeing the table. The food was fine, but as reviews elsewhere have stated, it was average food, trying to pretend to be 5* Final kick came at the end of the meal where 20 minutes after our glasses were collected we decided to walk to ask the hostess if we could please settle our bill, and were chased after by the first water that had paid us attention in 20 minutes who joined us at the hostess laughing that we were meant to pay the waiting staff not the hostess - would if we could get your attention mate! I did not find the experience as funny. More

As we walked in we were greeted by a lady who looked at us confused. "Do you have vouchers?" Was all she said. Thrown by this we said no and after a little negotiation eventually managed to get seated. We can only assume that this... greeting was due to the lady assuming that as my wife was in her wheelchair we were somehow not wealthy enough to be eating in a nice restaurant. We were smartly dressed, certainly more so than some of the patrons who were in shorts and t-shirt. When transferring from wheelchair to dining chair my wife was touched inappropriately and without permission (on her back and backside in an unwanted attempt to help seat her). We both ordered bread selection to start which turned out to be a four piece stale selection of dubious quality bread slices with a smear of shop bought tasting garlic butter. We did not have time to enjoy this mediocre feast however as the extremely rude manager delivered the main course when we were barely halfway through. I explained this seemingly obvious fact but the food was slammed down without further discourse. Not wanting the mains to go cold we abandoned the bready delight and tucked into fish and chips for myself and mushroom risotto for the wife. Both were adaquate, the fish being a little sloppy for my taste, but edible. A granted personal bit I think reasonable further complaint was the fish was served on a small slate rather than a plate. Give me a plate dammit. Our drinks were forgotten and had to be chased up around ten minutes after ordering but the second my fork touched the table the mains were whipped away. I tried to protect my plate on principal, asking (the same) manager if he was trying to get rid of us. He did not respond instead grabbing both plate and novelty slate board and practically running off. After some more time, most of which my wife spent pleading with me to not throw the manager overboard we refused dessert and asked for the bill. The bill came with service charge included and when I questioned this, explaining that I felt the manager had personally been rude he huffed, turned on his heels and removed the charge. No explanation, no apology, no sense even that literally taking a client's plate against their request might be at least a little unusual. At this point you may be forgiven for thinking perhaps the place was busy and I am mistaking breft service with a personal attack. Well dear reader I can assure you the staff outnumbered the diners, although we were by no means the last so neither overwhelmed staff nor a closing kitchen could be to blame. On a significant amount of reflection the only conclusion we have reasonably been able to reach is that they objected to the sight of a disabled person in the dining area and wished to resolve the situation with maximum haste. Please do not make it mistake and eat here. You will receive better service from the local KFC. More

Great location and unusual restaurant Our menu had a limited choice and was pricey. The views and unusual location may attract an extra premium Phone ahead to confirm that there are no corporate events aboard – the noise moves through the ship and is fantastically... loud. Don’t book if there is. The final bill will include a service charge. I always pay the bill without this added and tip separately. The biggest problem is that others have said that the bar afterwards for drinks shuts at 10.30... Madness. The full English breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. More

The boat is beautiful and everything inside it too but the food was ok and not worth the price tag. we got a table and got sat very quickly it was good we were asked if we would like some water for the table so... we said yes it came warm and at a £6.50 we then ordered the bread and the olives as a starter I asked the waiter if it was ok to have some balsamic and oil he said it wasn’t a problem then come back with white wine vinegar in a pot no ideas why but couldn’t get his attention to change it then the mains came while we we’re still eating the starters we had the chicken it was very good but again small and not worth the £25 price tag but it was good they then took a while to come and take the plates it’s sad because we spoke to the waiter twice and that was for drinks and for food no check backs done through the whole meal we just feel a little deflated at paying £105 for that the scary thing is it’s £1 more for a bottle of fruit cider with the water being £6.50 never knows a water to be that much. We left but definitely wouldn’t eat there again. The yacht is amazing though. More

Having a room for our wedding night, we chose to book into the restaurant onboard the Sunborn hotel, we were not disappointed. I mentioned that it was our wedding that day, because they asked if we had a good day, which obviously it was haha... and was given congratulations by each member of staff that came to our table, which I thought was a nice touch. Our waiter, was a very polite young man, who wasn’t fussy but always there to pour the wine (great recommendation too) and to clear the tables and gave good advice when ordering, leading us to go for the sharing steak option which was HUGE and was the far better option. It was the little touches that made the experience better, we had a lovely view of the docks and the O2, always had our drinks filled up, wasn’t fussed over (which is a pet peeve of mine) The restaurant itself was well spaced out, relaxed, there was a great vibe about the place, nobody felt nervous etc because of how well run it was. The food was glorious and we enjoyed it all, people have complained about the cost etc HOWEVER you get what you pay for and if you want a cheaper dinner then go to the O2 … When we got our desserts, there was a chocolate on top that had congratulation written on top, which did make us smile, again great customer service !!! Breakfast was another very good experience, you fill your form out for what choice of eggs etc you want, then you are free to help yourself to coffee and tea and juices and water, cereals and fruit were also there for you as many times as you wanted to go up. I couldn’t fault the breakfast, we were both full up and it was high quality ingredients as you would expect. If I were to stay again at the Sunborn, I would definitely eat here again 😁😁 More

Absolutely lovely setting on board a luxury yacht but that is where the positivity of this review ends. Please note this is a very expensive high end restaurant, my expectations were sky high. With starters at £15 and mains from £26-34 I was expecting a... huge bill and wonderful food, alas I only got one of those! The abundance of truffle shavings just assisted in making each dish appear very unattractive. My asparagus starter was covered in the stuff so was my main; the corn fed chicken on a bed of what looked like cabbage. My bill with two glasses of wine for each was £169…..ouch ! I did however get a £20 refund as they over charged me on the wines. Little touches were missing ….. bread as a pre started had to be paid for ?? The evening was lightened though as we witnessed a guy proposing to a very pretty girl on the terrace. So in all a great setting but please re visit your menu or get a better chef !! More

Staying for one night, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant. It was mid-week so not too busy, with the service being quick and friendly throughout. The food isn't too bad, with smoked salmon and sweetcorn chowder for starters. The salmon was essentially rolled... with some creme fraiche and leaves for £16. The chowder was really good and was slightly cheaper. For mains we chose chicken breast and lamb. The chicken was cooked well and full of flavour, the lamb was two small cutlets which were cooked okay, along with roasted veg. The cost of the main course for what you received in terms of portion and quality was disproportionate when compared to higher end restaurants. It was an okay meal at top end prices. More

Overpriced and underwhelming. Visited with wife after recommendation (admittedly from someone who visited a while ago) and found the whole experience to be somewhat of a let down. The food was ok.. although felt very much like it was mass prepared and the standard you... would expect at a wedding or mass catered event. The service was most certainly not 5* nor was the ambiance or general presentation of the venue. Really couldn’t understand the justification for a hefty weekend surcharge to be added to the bill for a Friday night! Yes it’s on a ship- although let’s be honest it’s not really is it- it’s more of a hotel that was once a ship- Yes it’s has good views.. but not much more than you could get at many other London venues.. but if I’m honest that’s kind of it! The whole experience just felt a bit tired, over rated and a bit of a let down. More

My wife and I stayed on the sunborn yacht in the east end of London... Last night. The ambience of the yacht was amazing and stunning, the staff were sociable but! Not particularly friendly. We booked a table for two at the lands end restaurant,... the food was fresh and very enjoyable, the crab, lamb, chicken. Was cooked to a very good standard. My wife and I would stay here again, breakfast was good... The comfort of the room was good and the quality of the bed was excellent look forward to staying here again in the near future keep up the good work sunborn from blue whale. More

A wide range of "standard" breakfasts foods included in the price. The room was a lot bigger than expected, with a powerful shower. A fully-fledged hotel despite being on a yacht. A bar, with a great view of the dock by night, serving nice cocktails just down the hall from our room.

Everyone and everything, not the water view sorry to say ,please make it clear and I’ll easily come and stay 2/3 times a year ,really good breakfast ,must say,Matty W.

The room was stunning, spotless and well looked after. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was exceptional. location was brilliant, close to trains, cable car etc. Would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

We were looked after fantastically well. It was my wife's 60th birthday, and it was made special. Thank you so much

We travelled to London to celebrate my Daugther's 50th Birthday, the SUNBORNE exceeded all expectations. Beautiful surroundings and our dinner, which I had pre-booked was exceptional. Our room was spacious and en-suite good. The bar and restaurant are comfortable. The Sunborne was a little pricey, but if you want cheap don't book this. For a special event it was just perfect.

Impressive yacht, friendly staff and great location

Beautiful hotel, lovely grand staircase in reception area, just a lovely place to stay. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.

Lovely clean room, nice and quiet, good night sleep. Staff all friendly and good breakfast.

How guest reviews work

Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.

You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.

We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

  • Politically sensitive comments
  • Promotional content
  • Illegal activities
  • Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
  • Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
  • Spam and fake content
  • Animal cruelty
  • Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
  • Any violation of our review guidelines.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Guidelines and standards for Reviews

These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Floating Fancy: Sunborn London Yacht Hotel Review

Finding the perfect hotel for a London stay can be tricky, with countless options and locations available. Sunborn London offers something a little more unusual, as it’s not your standard bricks-and-mortar establishment; pick the Sunborn, and you’ll be staying on an extravagant yacht. But while it stands out from the crowd visually, does the rest stand up to scrutiny?

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel, to give it its full title, is located at Royal Victoria Dock, an area of east London that has undergone extensive regeneration and is home to the Excel exhibition centre. Despite its Docklands location, the Sunborn yacht is easy to get to, thanks to the new Elizabeth Line that runs through the city, with stops at Heathrow Airport, Paddington, Bond Street and Liverpool Street, to name just a few, where you can connect to most other London underground lines. Arriving by car isn’t too much of a chore either, and with ExCel next door, ample parking is available just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel entrance

Arriving at Sunborn London certainly makes an impression. The vast open space in front of the floating hotel allows you to take in the size as you get closer to the riverfront. There’s a lift at dock level – one of few signs that the yacht was indeed built specifically for this purpose – which takes you directly to the stylishly designed reception level, where you are greeted by friendly staff, ready to check you in for a stay.

While the purpose-built yacht might not have sailed the Mediterranean, it still has all the features of a sea-going vessel, with heavy doors and raised sills. There’s even an impressive cruise ship-esque double staircase in the middle of the reception area, which is finished off with a crystal chandelier, adding a touch of elegance.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel: The Room

We spent the night in a mid-range ‘Yacht Executive’ room with a balcony overlooking the surprisingly blue waters of the docks. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized desk area should you combine business with pleasure. There were a good number of plug sockets dotted about the room and at each side of the bed – something often overlooked – with a mix of UK and European sockets, which was a nice touch. Everything you would expect was there, including tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and a safe, should you need them.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel executive room

The bathroom was a reasonable size, with a spacious enough shower. Confusingly though, rather than having a simple shower control, there was a bath mixer tap with a shower attached. Once the water was turned on, a toggle needed to be pulled to direct the water through the shower head. With no bath in sight, this seemed rather odd.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel bathroom

Unlike the smaller rooms on the lower two levels, our room had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water, with a double-glazed door leading out onto our little balcony, complete with two chairs. While it was a nice little bit of outside space, it wasn’t well designed in that once seated in the chairs, the view was of the solid steel safety barrier rather than the river. Perhaps some safety glass would be a better bet.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel executive room

Despite that, it felt like a well-thought-out space, with considerate touches ranging from the surfeit of power sockets to the welcome bottles of water. Between 19 and 23m3, the rooms aren’t huge on paper, but clever use of space and light makes them feel far more generous than they could.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel executive room

Throughout the cabins and the public areas of the yacht, there are lots of mirrors, reflective surfaces and warm coloured wooden panelling, which adds to the character of Sunborn London, and adds to the sense of space, leaving you in no doubt that you are onboard a vessel.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel: Lands End Restaurant

The onboard restaurant is located at the vessel’s rear, with an outside space providing views towards The O2 and Canary Wharf. Like the rest of the public areas, it is adorned with warm-coloured wood and reflective surfaces, making it feel both welcoming and light and airy.

Sunborn Yacht Lands End Restaurant

We began by perusing the wine list and decided on a bottle of prosecco – such glamorous surroundings deserved a few bubbles! The bottle arrived at the table, was opened and poured, only to find that it had been served at room temperature. Our waiter did try to rectify this error, but the second bottle had also not been chilled. A cold bottle was eventually found from the Sundown Bar on the deck below, but two bottles had been wasted by this stage. It’s an amateur mistake to make and set a low bar for the rest of the evening.

Nevertheless, we put this mishap to one side and checked out the food offering. The menu had a good selection of options, with meat and seafood dishes available. However, the choice for those following a vegetarian or vegan diet was very limited.

I selected the mixed marinated olives as my starter, and my dining companion opted for the Gazpacho. Both arrived quite quickly and were tasty and fresh.

sunborn yacht restaurant

The main course was more of an issue, as I suffer from lactose intolerance. My only option was wild mushroom risotto with vegan cheese and grated truffle, with a seasonal house salad on the side. My companion had more choice and opted for the ‘Sunborn’ fish ‘n’ chips, which consisted of beer battered haddock, pea puree and chunky chips.

When the food did arrive at the table, it looked well presented, and while the fish fillet did look relatively small, the risotto was somewhat more substantial.

The wild mushroom risotto was well cooked, the risotto rice was tender, and the dish was well seasoned and tasty. The side salad, however, did leave a little to be desired. There was little or no dressing to add flavour, which was disappointing.

The fish and chips were fine, if unexciting. It’s a dish that’s difficult to get wrong but also difficult to impress with. The kitchen managed to stay in its lane, offering something perfectly acceptable, with fresh chips and tasty mushy peas, although portions were a little meagre.

sunborn yacht restaurant

Dessert was again lacking in options for my needs or those on plant-based diets, with fruit and sorbet being the only, somewhat unimaginative, options. I reluctantly opted for the three flavours of sorbet, while my dining companion opted for the much tastier sounding Bakewell tart with ice cream.

sunborn yacht restaurant

The Bakewell tart arrived without a hitch, but the lack of attention to the order in the kitchen meant that I was served two scoops of sorbet and one scoop of ice cream instead of three of sorbet. Luckily I noticed before I started to eat it, and I immediately notified the manager of the error. My issue is an intolerance rather than an allergy, but had it not been, this could have been a more significant problem.

With few guests in the restaurant the night we dined, there was little excuse for the multiple errors. While a long way from fine dining , the food was perfectly acceptable, but the lack of imagination in the menu and the lack of care in serving the drinks and meal tarnished the experience.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel: Sundown Bar

After dinner, we headed down a deck for a nightcap at the Sundown Bar. As you enter the bar, lights and reflective surfaces surround you from every angle, making it just a little overwhelming against the dusk outside. We decided the sensory overload was a little too much, so we chose a seat on the outside deck with views along the docks to The O2 beyond.

Sunborn Yacht Sundown Bar

The overall environment and vibe of the place were pleasant and lively, with most patrons spending their time either gazing into each other’s eyes or gazing at the myriad lights of the city twinkling away in the distance. A surprising amount of time can be wasted simply watching the Emirates Air Line cable cars crossing the river, their red lights floating across the skyline in contrast to the blue and white lights of the city.

sunborn yacht restaurant

There is a good selection of drinks available, but they are a little pricey, even allowing for London prices. A Diet Coke and a double Woodford Reserve bourbon came in at £20. The service was swift and friendly, recovering from the faux pas at dinner and rounding off our evening well.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel: Breakfast

Breakfast the following day was on the outside deck of the Lands End restaurant and consisted of a cooked breakfast from the kitchen alongside a self-service buffet. The mix of table service for the hot food and self-service for the rest isn’t that unusual, but it was also self-service for tea and coffee, which, for a luxury hotel , is much less common. Disappointingly, there was hardly any hot water left in the urn to make tea, and what was there was lukewarm at best.

The breakfast was perfectly adequate and served quickly, suggesting that it is precooked in the kitchen and then plated up when ordered. While that’s not a significant problem, it is disappointing to be served fried eggs that have been kept warm a little too long when a fresh egg takes only a minute or two to cook.

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel Breakfast

Sunborn London Yacht Hotel: The Verdict

sunborn yacht restaurant

With countless highly-rated dining options within just a few minutes’ walk from the Sunborn, it’s a surprise and disappointment that the restaurant can’t match the standards that the rest of the hotel sets. With those other options available, though, it’s not something that should put you off, as it’s the hotel that holds the appeal.

It is a nice place to gather specially at the lounge The service and staff very good I like the river view The food is almost like all restaurants in Russia they serve different cuisine. Staring Russian appetizer till Asian dishes Presentation and taste amazing I consider it overpriced little bit

Good location. Nice views. Good choice of food and drinks. European and Asian menu. Nice service. Pricey enough.

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs.

Hello, Alexander Your comment is extremely important for us, thank you a lot for it. We are terribly sorry for your time that you`ve spent waiting your order and we have already taken actions to improve quality of our service and it would be realy nice of you to visit us again and make sure that we have fixed our mistakes. Manager of restaurant "Chayka"

Had a large group dinner here. Food was above average and service quite good. The real attraction is the view of Moscow from the river on a nice night. Great place for a larger group dinner.

Hello, John We are really pleased by reading that you and your friends were satisfied by our service, client`s experience is the highest value for us. We will be happy to see you again, come and enjoy some new dishes from our chef and nice panoramic view, of course. Manager of restaurant "Chayka"
