Located in sunny Naples, Fl, we have specialized in crewed sailing charters, bareboat sailing charters, yacht deliveries, and yacht maintenance since 1985.

When visiting Naples, FL or any of the surrounding areas, you have the opportunity to take our sailboats out onto the beautiful gulf. Let us charter you and your guest, or reserve the entire yacht for your guest. Sunset and moonlight cruises, half day and full day cruises. We have something for every scenario.

Our bareboat yacht charters are on boats ranging from 34′ to 42′. Half day to weekly bareboat charters are available. Preliminary checkout available by phone or fax. Prices vary depending on vessel. 34′ ocean racers and up to 42′ luxury cruising yachts. Large parties can be accommodated, with up to 16 on the Danmark, a 40′ Sloop U.S. Coast Guard inspected vessel.

  What’s new for Florida cruises in 2024

  ORLANDO, Fla. — The world’s largest cruise ship headlines a big comeback year for major hardware arriving in Florida.

  Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas will make a sizable splash when it arrives in Miami in January, having taken over the title from what are now its little Oasis-class sisters.

  But what will now be the second-largest cruise ship, Utopia of the Seas, the last of six Oasis-class behemoths, is also Florida-bound, arriving at Port Canaveral in July for its debut.

  The Sunshine State will also see the newest Disney Cruise Line vessel with Disney Treasure’s arrival in December, on top of DCL’s opening of its new Bahamas destination, Lighthouse Point, which will pull in ship visits from both Port Canaveral and Disney’s new second Florida home in Port Everglades.

  Port Everglades will also feature its own sizable debut when Princess Cruises’ new Sphere class vessel the Sun Princess arrives in October.

  First up, though, is Royal Caribbean’s new flagship for its new class.

  Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas

  Debuts from PortMiami on Jan. 27, sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

  The 20-deck, 250,800-gross-ton, 1,198-foot-long cruise ship comes in about 15,000 gross tons bigger than, but with a layout similar to, Oasis-class vessels. It features eight neighborhoods carved out to support the flow of what could be 7,600 passengers on board at max capacity. The most notable is the new AquaDome neighborhood, a massive 363-ton engineering feat that sits at the top and front of the ship, which will be home to the line’s signature AquaTheater show, migrating from its traditional outdoor venue on Oasis ships.

  Other new neighborhoods include: family-friendly Surfside, replacing the Boardwalk space on the aft of the ship; Thrill Island on the top deck, hosting the largest water park at sea, called Category 6, and a feature called the Crown’s Edge that is part ropes course and part thrill ride; Chill Island, also on the top deck, with the line’s first swim-up bar at sea, with in-water loungers and tables, among four pools within the neighborhood; and The Hideaway, which is home to a suspended infinity pool 135 feet above the ocean along with a multilevel sun terrace, more whirlpools and a bar.

  The primary stage show is a version of “The Wizard of Oz,” while the ship is getting the largest skating rink in the fleet, home to even more entertainment productions, with each of the three main stages putting on two productions each per sailing.

  New dining features on board include a 1920s-themed, high-end specialty space called Empire Supper Club, and a food hall concept called the AquaDome Market, with venues dedicated to macaroni and cheese and crepes among others.

  Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas

  Debuts from Port Canaveral on July 22, sailing three- and four-night Bahamas itineraries.

  On what could be the final Oasis-class ship, the cruise line is giving it short cruise duties from the Orlando-area port, with each sailing making a stop at Royal’s private Bahamas island, Castaway Cay. Utopia is currently under construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

  It will have more than 40 venues for food and beverage, including a new tiki bar concept called the Pesky Parrot that will be situated indoors on the Promenade, with fruit-based cocktails and frozen drinks. Also coming is an interactive dining experience themed as if participants were riding in a classic train car. The multi-course meal looks to allow for a simulated trip to different destinations, with changing story lines married to the cuisine. Similar to Icon of the Seas, Utopia's Central Park will be the new home for Izumi hibachi and teppanyaki, including the offshoot Izumi in the Park, a walk-up outdoor venue that serves fresh sushi and Japanese-inspired sweets.

  One thing Oasis-class ships have that Icon of the Seas won’t is the popular 10-deck spiraling dry slide, The Ultimate Abyss. Utopia’s is set to be 43 feet longer than its sister ships’ versions, and will feature transparent windows and “zoom boosting rollers” within the tube to make the mat ride even faster.

  Princess Cruises' Sun Princess

  Debuts in February sailing the Mediterranean, but begins sailing from Port Everglades on Oct. 14 on seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

  The first of a new Sphere class, with a 4,314-passenger capacity based on double occupancy, it’s the largest ship in the Princess fleet, coming in at 21 decks and 175,500 gross tons, which is about 30,000 more tons and 750 more guests than its last class of ships.

  Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyards in Italy, its design will feature more balconies, a supersized 1,000-seat main theater called Princess Arena with an in-the-round layout with movable seats, and a three-deck main dining room.

  A pair of unique offerings on the ship will be a bistro called The Butcher’s Block by Dario, from celebrity Tuscany butcher Dario Cecchini, and the Spellbound by Magic Castle venue in partnership with Hollywood landmark Magic Castle, a private club for the Academy of Magical Arts. The cruise venue will feature Victorian-era stylings amid themed rooms where servers will perform sleight-of-hand tricks while delivering theatrical cocktails.

  Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Treasure

  Debuts from Port Canaveral on Dec. 21 sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

  The 144,000-gross-ton, 4,000-passenger vessel sister ship to 2022’s Disney Wish will have a slew of unique features many of which pull from theme park nostalgia, including bars themed to the Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It’s currently under construction at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

  Similar to Wish, its top-deck feature will be the AquaMouse, a mix of a dark ride themed to the animated Mickey Mouse cartoons and a water coaster similar to the AquaDuck found on Disney Dream and Fantasy.

  A new Broadway-style stage show based on “Moana” will join existing shows “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Day” as it takes on the longer sailing duties while Disney Wish continues short Bahamas sailings. A new dinner theater concept around the Pixar film “Coco” will debut as well.

  Other unique touches for the ship include Peter Pan and Captain Hook stern characters, an Aladdin-themed Grand Hall atrium and a new dessert venue with a "Zootopia" theme.

  New at the ports

  Port Canaveral isn’t just welcoming two new ships in 2024 with Disney Treasure and Royal’s Utopia of the Seas, but is also bringing in two new brands, as both Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises will begin regular service for the first time. Caribbean Princess arrives on Nov. 27 to sail six- and eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, while Celebrity Equinox arrives on Dec. 3 to sail mostly seven-night Caribbean itineraries. The older ships are the lines’ first forays into the Central Florida market, but Princess Cruises has already announced it will send one of its newer ships, Sky Princess, to the port in 2025.

  PortMiami, meanwhile, expects MSC Cruises to finish its new terminal, which will help solidify its reclamation of the title of world’s busiest cruise port. MSC’s offering, which will be able to handle three megaships and 36,000 passenger movements daily, will join new and refurbished terminals from Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian and Virgin Voyages that have redefined the Miami skyline in the last few years.

  Port Everglades will continue to welcome Disney fans to the revamped Terminal 4, the cruise line’s new second Florida home that opened in November. The 104,000-square-foot space will host both Disney Dream and Magic through the year, and will expand further in 2025.

  Beyond Florida

  Disney Cruise Line will open its second private Bahamas destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, welcoming the first ship on June 8. Over the summer the line is limiting visits to the 700-acre site on the southern tip of the island of Eleuthera to mostly sailings on board Disney Magic from Port Everglades during three-, four- or five-night voyages.

  Disney Fantasy, though, will also make a pair of stops during longer trips from Port Canaveral, and then make several trips in the fall, while Disney Wish sailings will be limited to Disney’s original private destination, Castaway Cay.

  Lighthouse Point includes a main beach, family beach and adults-only beach plus an arts and cultural pavilion, water play area with two slides, gaming pavilion, market-style dining, shopping and kids club.

  It’s the first of three new cruise line projects coming online in the Bahamas, but neither Carnival Cruise Line’s Celebration Key on Grand Bahama Island nor Royal Caribbean’s tinier Royal Beach Club in Nassau will be ready until 2025.

  American Queen Voyages shuts down, cancels future cruises amid reported service issues

  

  American Queen Voyages has shut down.

  An automated voice message on its customer information hotline said the cruise line "has made the difficult decision" to suspend operations, and all future cruises have been scrapped. “Guests and customers should expect to be fully refunded for canceled cruises,” the message said.

  The message directed listeners to www.aqvrefunds.com “to begin the refund process,” and said they could find more information at www.aqvinfo.com .

  "Despite our best efforts, demand for overnight cruises has not recovered following the pandemic, and AQV has become financially unsustainable," a guest FAQ section on the second website reads. "We thank you for your support and deeply regret any inconvenience this causes you."

  No ships were sailing at the time of the closure. Adam Peakes, president of the line's owner Hornblower Group, said it plans to "sell the company, or, if a sale cannot be achieved, its operations will be wound down."

  "Please know this decision was not made lightly," he said in an emailed statement shared with USA TODAY. "We are deeply proud of our employees and crew for the outstanding services they have provided our guests over the years. As the backbone of the AQV experience we extend our deepest appreciation to our team for their unwavering commitment, passion and hard work, which has been exceptional. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our guests, partners, agents and the local communities where we call who have each been integral to our journey."

  Your cruise was canceled: Now what?

  The news comes after the line reportedly canceled three season-opening sailings set to take place on the Mississippi River later this month, attributing the changes to an extended layup schedule. Multiple industry groups previously suspended sales of American Queen Voyages cruises because of service issues, including delayed commission payments, Travel Weekly reported in January.

  The line began sailing as American Queen Steamboat Company in 2011 and was rebranded as American Queen Voyages in 2021 after merging with Victory Cruise Lines.

  Carnival Cruise Ship Return Delayed, Following Sailing Shortened By One Day

  Carnival Legend experienced engine issues on Saturday afternoon off the coast of Florida, resulting in a delayed return to Baltimore. While the ship originally was slated to arrive on Sunday, the ship was forced to change course in order to disembark a passenger in need of medical attention. An email to passengers expecting to board on Sunday informed them that the ship would not be leaving Baltimore until Monday, and that the scheduled 7-night sailing would instead be a 6-night voyage.

  

  An email to the Cruise Radio tip line said : “FYI. On the Carnival Legend sailing back to Baltimore from the Bahamas and 2 hours ago we were told the engine is broken. We have not moved since. Does anyone hear anything? I have never had this encounter before.” 

  On Saturday evening , the ship’s automated information system (AIS) showed Carnival Legend off the coast of West Palm Beach, Florida, and moving northward at 4 knots or 4.6 miles per hour.

  

  As of Sunday morning , the ship made an overnight call to Port Canaveral and is back on course to Baltimore with a cruising speed of 19 knots or 22 miles per hour.

  

  Now that the ship is back on course for Baltimore, guests who are scheduled to board Carnival Legend on Sunday have been informed that the ship will actually arrive on Monday. An alert to embarking guests says:

  Not a first for the Spirit class

  

  Last summer, another Spirit-class ship, Carnival Pride, experienced issues while sailing in Northern Europe. The vessel was on a 12-night European cruise from Dover, England, and started experiencing issues after leaving Kiel, Germany.  Carnival Pride was taken out of service while the vessel underwent repairs in Europe. 

  Carnival Legend, a 23-year-old Spirit-class ship, is currently homeported in Baltimore for the season. It left Maryland on Sunday, February 18, for a seven-night cruise to Half Moon Cay and Freeport, originally scheduled to return to Baltimore this Sunday, February 25. 

  In 2019, strong winds attributed to Carnival Legend bumping into Carnival Glory while docked in Cozumel.

  Officials have suspended their search for four missing boaters who never returned from a fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend as torrential rain was starting to lash Florida.

  VENICE, Fla. – The search for four missing men who never returned from a boating trip off the coast of Florida was suspended Monday evening. 

  FOX 13 in Tampa reported that the search had been going on since Sunday morning in the Gulf of Mexico from Stump Pass to Longboat Pass. The men, who police say are experienced fishermen, left Venice around 8 a.m. Saturday and did not return Saturday night as planned, according to a family member.

  "Shortly after 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, we were dispatched to the marina to check on the pickup truck and the boat trailer that was left behind as a family member notified us that they hadn't returned yet," shared Captain Andy Leisenring with the Venice Police Department.

  A search has been suspended for four missing boaters off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.

  The group’s vessel was a 1995 23-foot white SportCraft, registration #FL9937HC. 

  The vehicle and boat trailer the men left behind were found at the Marina Park Boat Ramp, near the Historic Venice Train Depot, according to officials.

  The missing boaters are identified as Angel Hernandez Munoz, 38, of North Port ; Ruben Mora Sr., 54, of Port Charlotte ; Julio Cesar Cordero Briones, 37, of North Port; and Alfonso Vargas Parra, 35, of North Port. 

  Ruben Mora's son, Juan Raul Mora, says his dad has always loved fishing, which is what the group set out to do on Saturday morning.

  Juan Mora said when his family didn't hear from his father, they contacted the police.

  "My dad, it's just us and his four boys. Unfortunately, we just lost one of my brothers. We've been going through a lot. My grandma passed away four months ago, my brother just died, and now my dad's missing, so we're going through a lot. I don't even know how to feel at this point, there's just too much tragedy in my family at this point," shared Juan Mora.

  Ruben Mora has diabetes and issues with high blood pressure, so his son is worried that it's been cold and rainy and he doesn't have access to his medication.

  Juan Raul says authorities began trying to track the men's phones, and the last time one pinged was Saturday morning near the Siesta Key area.

  Officials searched over 4,600 square miles of surface in the Gulf and went out up to 80 nautical miles offshore. Authorities said the search spanned from Sarasota County to Collier County.

  "Today, we've had about 13 of those local law enforcement vessels out searching, and they've been searching the areas up to about 10 miles out. And the U.S. Coast Guard has been searching beyond that," said Captain Leisenring. 

  Officials say the Coast Guard sent several different vessels and aircraft, including fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. 

  Agencies involved in the search included the Venice Police Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, the Sarasota Police Department, Venice Fire Rescue, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the Lee County Sheriff's Office and Sea Tow Venice.

  Florida just experienced a very rainy, stormy weekend, which led to the postponement of the Daytona 500 to Monday after relentless rain on Sunday.

  NEW YORK – Jaylen Brown scored 30 points, Kristaps Porzingis had 22 and the NBA-leading Boston Celtics easily handled the New York Knicks 116-102 on Saturday night for their eighth consecutive victory.

  Brown shot 13-for-24 from the field and had eight rebounds for the Celtics, who improved to 45-12 and sit atop the Eastern Conference with an eight-game lead over Cleveland.

  The All-Star forward downplayed the big advantage in the standings with less than two months left before the start of the postseason.

  “When it comes down to the playoffs, none of that stuff really matters,” Brown said. “I feel like it’s going to be about matchups, it’s going to be about playing hard. Obviously, home court (advantage) matters. So, that is key. You get into the thick of it, you've got to win basketball games.”

  Jayson Tatum had 19 points with six assists and six rebounds and Derrick White added 13 for Boston, who have won 10 of their last 11.

  Celtics coach Joe Mazzula gushed over the performance of Tatum, who has at least five assists in seven of his last nine games and six rebounds in 16 of 17 games.

  “I thought today was a beautiful display of basketball from Jayson,” Mazzula said. “It won’t go into the most valuable category, but his ability to control the game with his pick-and-roll pace, his pick-and-roll passing, his defense. He put himself on (Jalen) Brunson, welcoming 2-on-1s and creating for others was great. My hats off to him for knowing that's a way for us to win.”

  Brunson had 34 points on 12-for-25 shooting from the field and 4-for-9 from 3-point range and Josh Hart had 16 for the Knicks, who were swept by Boston in their four-game season series.

  Boston opened the second half with a 4-point lead before the All-Star tandem of Brown and Tatum along with Porzingis, a 2015 first-round draft pick of the Knicks, sparked a 30-11 spurt to put the game out of reach.

  After Isaiah Hartenstein hit a pair of free throws to cut the deficit for New York to 67-61, Porzingis and Tatum hit back-to-back 3-pointers to make it 73-66. That forced the Knicks to call timeout with 8:21 left in the third quarter.

  New York then turned the ball over on the following possession and Brown answered with a 3 before Brunson was fouled on a 3-point attempt and hit all three free throws that made it 76-69.

  The Knicks and Celtics traded baskets before Porzingis started a 10-0 run with a 3 from the top of the key and Brown closed it with a layup to extend the lead 88-71 with 3:53 remaining in the quarter.

  Hart and Brunson followed with consecutive baskets, but Boston responded with a 9-0 run capped by Tatum’s 3 that made it 97-77 with 1:30 left in the quarter and drew loud “Let’s Go Celtics!” chants from the visiting fans before boos rained down from the Knicks faithful.

  “I prefer any kind of emotion over no emotion,” said Porzingis, who was booed by Knicks fans the night he was selected in the NBA Draft and was jeered when his name was called during the lineup introduction.

  “If it’s cheers or boos, I want them," he said. "Tonight was no different. Big game, (national) TV game, fans were into it and we just took care of business.”

  The Knicks charged back with a 13-2 run bridging the end of the third quarter and the start of fourth quarter, cutting the deficit 99-90 on Bojan Bogdanovic’s jumper with 9:17 to play in the period.

  But the Celtics took advantage of three Knicks turnovers and six missed shots to go on a 10-0 run to extend the lead 109-90 with 4:43 left in regulation.

  Brown had 10 points in the first quarter to help the Celtics to a 30-36 lead at the end of the opening period. He added 10 more in the second period to pace Boston to a 62-58 advantage at halftime. The Celtics shot 66.7% from the field and 42.9 percent beyond the 3-point line in the first half.

  Celtics: Host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.

  Knicks: Host the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.
