Welcome Aboard
I think you will find that Force Blue is a yacht to suit all tastes. She is designed to provide you with luxurious living of the highest quality, embracing elegance, comfort and total relaxation. There is a huge range of on-board facilities, including a fully equipped Spa, an elevator serving all decks and water sports equipment to match the expectations of even the most demanding users, offset by exquisite dining in a choice of sophisticated settings. Above all, I would like you to know that Force Blue is totally free safe and seaworthy. The design of her immensely strong 207-foot steel hull conceived by the American naval architect Tom Fexas was inspired by the merchant vessels which ply their trade in the hostile waters of the North Sea. Force Blue meets the stringent contruction rules of Lloyd's Register of Shipping; in addition, she complies with all aspects of the rigorous safety requirements laid down by the British Maritime & Coastguard Agency. She was built to such extraordinarily high standards in Denmark - the home of perfection - by the award-winning shipyard Royal Denship. Force Blue can transport you, your family and guests on a voyage of sheer delight or, equally, take you on an adventure to the most remote corners of the earth - at all times in the greatest degree of comfort and safety. Please enjoy her. Flavio Briatore

New and Improved Royal Denship ‘Force Blue’
- By Kim Kavin
- January 10, 2023
How do you improve a 20-year-old yacht that continues to be a perennial favorite on the charter market?
That was the question facing the owners of Force Blue , which was 206 feet length overall when Royal Denship delivered it in 2002. The yacht is now 229 feet long and has a redesigned exterior, a swim platform extension to create a beach club, a redesigned main deck aft and refurbished staterooms.
“The whole stern of the yacht is redefined, creating an exceptional open lounging and sunbathing area at sea level,” says Daniela De Marco, Fraser’s head of charter management in Europe. “This fantastic new space connects directly to the yacht’s well-being area to offer an incredible space for relaxation and pampering, and also offers direct access to the water to jump straight from treatment to the sea.”
That well-being area has long been a calling card for Force Blue , which had an oversized spa long before it became common practice to incorporate them into superyacht designs. There’s a dedicated masseuse and beautician on board, and the well-being area includes a steam shower, hammam, mud bath, sauna, hot tub, hydro massage, massage room and hairdressing salon. The space is in addition to the onboard gymnasium, which has a treadmill, a Power Plate, a stationary bicycle, a Kinesis gym machine, a leg press, free weights and more—should guests tire of being outside with the Flyboard, hoverboard, paddleboards, scuba gear and various other water toys.
Force Blue also has a rare ratio of 12 guests to 21 crew, who, De Marco says, are “always going the extra mile to exceed the guests’ expectations.”
The Big Booking: Eight Weeks of Onboard Relaxation
This past summer, Force Blue completed an eight-week charter for clients, who, according to management company Fraser , are already talking about booking the yacht again for another vacation. Fraser has managed the yacht since 2005, keeping it in the fleet through several owners. Unlike some yachts that occasionally charter, it’s a priority aboard Force Blue to secure charter bookings. The yacht alternates seasons between the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

71m Royal Denship superyacht Force Blue for sale
The 70.6-metre Royal Denship motor yacht Force Blue has been listed for sale with Fraser and Burgess ahead of her appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Force Blue first hit the water in 2002 as the 63.3-metre Big Roi, designed as a trawler-style expedition yacht, and has been refitted to varying degrees throughout her life.
Her most recent refit, completed in 2022, was carried out at Lusben and sought to maintain her explorer characteristics but tone down her workboat looks. Much of the work centred around a seven-metre stern extension to allow for a large wrap-around swim platform. The main deck was extended in the process as well.
Guests arriving are greeted by a large main saloon with a separate dining room that doubles as a conference space. Accommodation is for 12 guests across six cabins with the master suite positioned on a dedicated owner's deck with three separate seating areas and a private terrace. An elevator serves all decks.
H2 Yacht Design handled the exterior re-design while Italian architect Michele Bonan conceived her new interior.
Other highlights of this explorer yacht for sale include a black-tiled spa, massage room and a heated table used for certain treatments, a cinema and a large bridge deck bar, BBQ and dining area that converts into a disco.
Large toys and tenders are stored in the bow and she currently carries an 8.8-metre Pascoe tender, a 9.5-metre NorthStar tender, and an 8.5-metre Bat tender.
Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar engines delivering a range of 8,000 nautical miles at 14 knots and 11,400 nautical miles at 10 knots. She is RINA class and MCA compliant with a strong charter record.
Force Blue will be available to view at the Monaco Yacht Show with price on application.

Channel crossing horror as migrant ‘stabbed’ on small boat rammed with 60 people
- Summer Raemason , News Reporter

- Updated : 19:35, 20 Mar 2024
A MIGRANT was reportedly stabbed while crossing the Channel in a small boat rammed with 60 people before being blue-lighted to hospital.
A Border Force vessel and two lifeboats arrived at the chaotic scene just after 12.50pm today following reports of an incident at Dover Western Docks.
The injured migrant was taken onto the Walmer lifeboat and then transported to Dover harbour.
They were met by emergency services and transported to hospital.
The extent of the migrant's injuries are not yet known but have been described as non-life-threatening.
A remaining 60 migrants at the scene were brought onto the Dover lifeboat.

They were met by police who took them to the nearby Border Force processing facility.
The small boat was one of eight that arrived today, carrying 450 people between them.
A spokesperson for the Home Office confirmed Kent Police are handling the incident.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: "At 12.52pm on Wednesday 20 March, Kent Police received a report of a man with injuries consistent with stab wounds, following the arrival of a small boat at Dover Western Docks.

The 450 arrivals today mark the latest one-day record, with 401 making the crossing in one day at the start of March.
It comes as dozens of migrants make the treacherous crossing to the UK.
Earlier this month a schoolgirl tragically died after the boat she and her family were on capsized on its way to the UK.
The girl, just seven-years-old, was among 16 migrants who had to be pulled from the water, but could not be saved, French authorities reported.
Authorities confirmed tragedy struck as the boat set out to cross the English Channel around 6.30am.
Just days prior, the bodies of three migrants were pulled from the Channel.
The asylum seekers were pronounced dead after falling into the water off the coast of Cap Gris-Nez, northern France .
The last fatalities in the Channel before this happened on January 14 .

'Bigger than Dover population'
By Kate Ferguson
THE number of small boat migrants coming to Britain since 2018 is bigger than the population of Dover .
A total of 116,577 people have turned up on dinghies, Home Office stats revealed.
That surpasses the 116,400 residents of the Channel port .
Labour’s Shadow Immigration Minister, Stephen Kinnock , said yesterday: “It is a shocking indictment of the Conservatives’ failure which has allowed criminal smuggling gangs to take hold along the coast.
“That failure is costing our country billions, while leaving our borders insecure.”
PM Rishi Sunak has made stopping the small boat migrants one of his pledges.
But his plan to deport many of them to Rwanda has been snarled up in legal challenges and parliamentary scrutiny.
He is still hopeful of being able to get a flight off the ground before the election .
Sir Keir Starmer says he would stem the tide by doing more to smash the criminal gangs behind the evil trade.
But the Government insists it is already doing that.
It says Labour’s opposition to the Rwanda plan shows the party is weak on border control

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3
National origin:- Soviet Union Role:- Fighter Interceptor Manufacturer:- Mikoyan-Gurevich Designer:- First flight:- 29th October 1940 Introduction:- 1941 Status:- Retired 1945 Produced:- 1940-1941 Number built:- 3,422 Primary users:- Soviet Air Forces (VVS); Soviet Air Defence Forces (PVO); Soviet Naval Aviation Developed from:- Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-1 Variants:- Mikoyan-Gurevich I-211 Operational history MiG-3s were delivered to frontline fighter regiments beginning in the spring of 1941 and were a handful for pilots accustomed to the lower-performance and docile Polikarpov I-152 and I-153 biplanes and the Polikarpov I-16 monoplane. It remained tricky and demanding to fly even after the extensive improvements made over the MiG-1. Many fighter regiments had not kept pace in training pilots to handle the MiG and the rapid pace of deliveries resulted in many units having more MiGs than trained pilots during the German invasion. By 1 June 1941, 1,029 MIG-3s were on strength, but there were only 494 trained pilots. In contrast to the untrained pilots of the 31st Fighter Regiment, those of the 4th Fighter Regiment were able to claim three German high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft shot down before war broke out in June 1941. However high-altitude combat of this sort was to prove to be uncommon on the Eastern Front where most air-to-air engagements were at altitudes well below 5,000 metres (16,000 ft). At these altitudes the MiG-3 was outclassed by the Bf 109 in all respects, and even by other new Soviet fighters such as the Yakovlev Yak-1. Furthermore, the shortage of ground-attack aircraft in 1941 forced it into that role as well, for which it was totally unsuited. Pilot Alexander E. Shvarev recalled: "The Mig was perfect at altitudes of 4,000 m and above. But at lower altitudes it was, as they say, 'a cow'. That was the first weakness. The second was its armament: weapons failure dogged this aircraft. The third weakness was its gunsights, which were inaccurate: that's why we closed in as much as we could and fired point blank." On 22 June 1941, most MiG-3s and MiG-1s were in the border military districts of the Soviet Union. The Leningrad Military District had 164, 135 were in the Baltic Military District, 233 in the Western Special Military District, 190 in the Kiev Military District and 195 in the Odessa Military District for a total of 917 on hand, of which only 81 were non-operational. An additional 64 MiGs were assigned to Naval Aviation, 38 in the Air Force of the Baltic Fleet and 26 in the Air Force of the Black Sea Fleet. The 4th and 55th Fighter Regiments had most of the MiG-3s assigned to the Odessa Military District and their experiences on the first day of the war may be taken as typical. The 4th, an experienced unit, shot down a Romanian Bristol Blenheim reconnaissance bomber, confirmed by postwar research, and lost one aircraft which crashed into an obstacle on takeoff. The 55th was much less experienced with the MiG-3 and claimed three aircraft shot down, although recent research confirms only one German Henschel Hs 126 was 40% damaged, and suffered three pilots killed and nine aircraft lost. The most unusual case was the pair of MiG-3s dispatched from the 55th on a reconnaissance mission to PloieÅŸti that failed to properly calculate their fuel consumption and both were forced to land when they ran out of fuel. Most of the MiG-3s assigned to the interior military districts were transferred to the PVO where their lack of performance at low altitudes was not so important. On 10 July 299 were assigned to the PVO, the bulk of them belonging to the 6th PVO Corps at Moscow, while only 293 remained with the VVS, and 60 with the Naval Air Forces, a total of only 652 despite deliveries of several hundred aircraft. By 1 October, on the eve of the German offensive towards Moscow codenamed Operation Typhoon, only 257 were assigned to VVS units, 209 to the PVO, and 46 to the Navy, a total of only 512, a decrease of 140 fighters since 10 July, despite deliveries of over a thousand aircraft in the intervening period. By 5 December, the start of the Soviet counter-offensive that drove the Germans back from the gates of Moscow, the Navy had 33 MiGs on hand, the VVS 210, and the PVO 309. This was a total of 552, an increase of only 40 aircraft from 1 October. Over the winter of 1941-42 the Soviets transferred all of the remaining MiG-3s to the Navy and PVO so that on 1 May 1942 none were left on strength with the VVS. By 1 May 1942, Naval Aviation had 37 MiGs on strength, while the PVO had 323 on hand on 10 May. By 1 June 1944, the Navy had transferred all its aircraft to the PVO, which reported only 17 on its own strength, and all of those were gone by 1 January 1945. Undoubtedly more remained in training units and the like, but none were assigned to combat units by then.
