Celebrated my daughter’s bridal shower at The Corinthian Yacht Club and had a spectacular day. The venue is beautiful, the view perfect and the staff was fantastic. Meg , Bill and the event coordinator helped us from our arrival through to our departure. Our guests raved “it was the best shower that they ever attended!” Thank you for making the day so special for the Bride and her guests. Can’t wait to return. D Maguire

Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia Wedding | Philadelphia, Pa | Heidi + David
Aug 28, 2017.
Heidi and David held a spectacular Corinthian Yacht Club of Philadelphia wedding. From the shimmering water at sunset, to the beautiful lace in Heidi’s dress, this waterside wedding exploded with happiness and elegant details.
A dull moment never truly came at this summer wedding. Heidi and David chose to do a first look before their ceremony. As per usual, this sweet moment only further excited the to-be bride and groom. David’s eyes lit up in excitement as his eyes met his bride to be. After the first look, the groomsmen lined up for their shots. They all looked thrilled to be attending such a magical day! (Especially the two youngest of the party!)
Alongside these photos, Heidi and David stood beautifully on the yacht club docks. The blue waves and line of boats created such a surreal and elegant backdrop to the twirling and laughing couple. I could practically feel the excitement in the air like static. Afterwards, I captured a few shots inside the reception area. The beautifully detailed tables and decorations felt like a true calm before the storm.
Next up, the ceremony was, of course, breathtaking. Heidi and David were framed by a beautiful ring of flowers, and a dramatic seascape filled the space behind them. After the ceremony, I captured the now married couple in a calm and lovely state. Once again, we visited the gorgeous docks as the sun set, and came back to the site of the ceremony when dusk fell over the sky.
Soon after, the reception of the Corinthian Yacht Club wedding began. String lights illuminated the married pair as they celebrated their first dance as a couple. Though the reception was on the smaller side, the good feelings and high energy were never absent. Everyone felt the love and excitement in the room!
I shot this wedding alongside Samantha Jay Photography – take a look at these photos, and enjoy. I promise the love and excitement I felt will be evident in every single shot!

Corinthian Yacht Club Wedding
Very early in June we spent the day with Suzanne and Oliver photographing their Corinthian Yacht Club wedding along the Delaware River in Philadelphia. It was a cloudless late spring day and they held their ceremony by the river followed with dinner in the yacht club and cake and dancing back outside at night. So, “technically” Suzanne and Oliver were married in November in Philadelphia . That’s when we met up for their engagement session before they were married in Old City in front of just a handful of immediate family. But this day in June was their ceremony for all of their family and friends. Plus, as I said earlier….there was cake and dancing at the Corinthian Yacht Club and after all……isn’t that what officially makes it a wedding? Suzanne & Oliver, it was my pleasure to share in both of your wedding days. Thank you for inviting me and for trusting me to capture it all for you. Enjoy your wedding photos!

Congratulations to Kathleen and Craig on their special day! This happy couple tied the knot on September 4, 2020 at The Corinthian Yacht Club in Cape May, NJ. Thankfully, Top South Jersey Wedding Videographers was there to capture this couple on their special day.
September 4, 2020 began with Kathleen and Craig getting ready for their ceremony. Kathleen had her hair and makeup done before she slipped into her elegant white wedding gown. Meanwhile, Craig was in another room getting his handsome tuxedo on. Kathleen looked so breathtaking in her beautiful white gown and of course, Craig looked so handsome in his classic black tuxedo!
The guests entered, then took their seats outside. Shortly after, Craig began down the aisle with his groomsmen close behind. Soon enough, Kathleen looking beautiful as ever graciously began walking down the aisle with her father beside her. Thanks to Top South Jersey Wedding Videographers , we could see just how happy this couple was to be getting married!
After they joined hands, the ceremony began. Thankfully, Top South Jersey Wedding Videographers was there to capture the happy couple sharing their vows and putting on the rings with the beautiful water behind them and the sun set lighting shining over them! It was absolutely breath taking! Moments after, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
Finally, it was time for the reception! Kathleen and Craig had their first dance and then cut their cake! Thankfully, Top South Jersey Wedding Videographers was there to capture these beautiful moments between the two! The newly weds spent the rest of their romantic evening with family and friends that came to celebrate them on their candlelit evening under the moonlight!
Congratulations again Kathleen and Craig on your special day! We hope it was everything you dreamed it would be!

I was at a friend's wedding recently and was highly surprised at the food quality. Overall it was definitely a notch above what you get in other banquet halls in this part of Delco. Combine it with the antique feel of the inside, and a good river view, and you have a worthy choice for your function.
This is a nice club on the river. It's primarily geared to the sailing crowd (duh) but I am not a member and have only gone for events with other groups as a guest of the club. I've eaten dinner here at least 6 times, almost every time we've had lobster and steak, and it has always been very good. The bar is a great place to hang out with a view of the water and interesting yet understated nautical theme. The club also sports a single trap station and they do a nice job hosting a trap event. I've always found it amusing to shoot trap over the water as commercial airlines are coming up the river on approach to PHL. One obviously can't actually hit them with a shotgun round, they are not that close, but it just seems odd to point a shotgun at a US Airways 757, although for other reasons I've considered it.
My friends had their wedding reception here. The view of the Delaware River is amazing, it's almost breathtaking. The service and food was great. The only negative as a reception site is that the table area is long and narrow. So when people were making speeches at one end, the tables all the way at the other end couldn't see or hear and therefore people were talking over the bridal party. The docks will make for some amazing photos though, and at least they have those for years. The food was ok, they started off with a spinach salad that people seemed to either like or not. For dinner I got their salmon dish and thought it was good. My boyfriend got a steak and he said it was good but it was cold. Since it was a wedding and they were bringing out food as it was ready it seemed a little weird that he would get cold meat. My two vegetarian friends didn't really seem to enjoy their stuffed pepper. But for a venue, it was really nice and the staff was friendly.
We decided to host a "sprinkle" to celebrate our second baby. Given that we were having a different gender, we wanted our closest family and friends to share in celebrating our news. We chose Corinthian Yacht Club based on a few factors, such as being close to our home, but also for the fact that there was an outdoor tent that overlooked the water. Our brunch party of approximately 40 people was held outside on the chilliest day so far (60 degrees) this fall and they closed up the tent so we could still see the water but it was much warmer. They also allowed one of our relatives who uses a wheelchair to drive right up to the side of the tent and enter without a second thought. I cannot say enough good things about Greg and the staff at CYC. From my first call, Greg explained everything and quickly invited us over to tour the facility in preparation for a shower. He was super friendly and accommodating and worked with us. Everything was set up with ease. He contacted us the week of to confirm our headcount and everything went off without a hitch! On the day of, the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating, checking in with our guests, moving things along (without rushing anyone) and truly going above and beyond our expectations. The food was really tasty (we chose a true brunch and there was wayyy more food than I'd imagined). Everything was set up as described. T I would wholeheartedly recommend CYC for any event. They are really caring and friendly people and we enjoyed our experience so much! Thank you to Greg and the entire staff!!! We wouldn't hesitate to book another event :)
Two weeks before my wedding, I found out that Greg, the venue's built in coordinator, had quit. I thought the wedding was doomed! Danielle to the rescue!! Danielle is Greg's replacement, and although not as laid back as Greg, she was 1000% as competent. She was completely on top of things, down to the smallest detail that I thought only the bride would notice or care about. Danielle cared just as much as I did which was wonderful! I felt so reassured having somebody listen and take notes so that she could be sure the event would carry out as I envisioned. The night couldn't have been more beautiful. I posted a pic but it does zero justice. The venue is a hidden gem, and unlike SO many other venues in this area, you don't have to pre-select a cookie cutter wedding. In fact that's why I chose Corinthian! The wedding is all your own, you choose your vendors, you choose how and where and in what order things are done, the menu is completely flexible, etc. Plus open bar. Huge plus. I can't recommend this place highly enough and am so fortunate that I happened upon it!!
On the dock at CYCOP.
CYC is awesome! I will be coming back! Phil and staff are great to work with! They are very accommodating. I was just at a shower, and everything was perfect! Food was fantastic!
Hi this is a hidden gem. We had our daughter's bridal shower there on 4/30/17. Awesome, beautiful setting, excellent food and the staff, super friendly and helpful. We will have more affairs there, for sure it was incredible. Our guest comments ranged from beautiful venue, excellent food, top notch, first class and the best shower every. Loved it.
My mom surprised me with a baby shower here, this afternoon! With a nautical theme for the baby's nursery, this was by far the most perfect location for my nautical themed shower - as we entered, family and friends yelled "ahoy, it's a boy!" Being completely and totally overwhelmed by the events of the day, I honestly only picked at my food. However, they served a wedge salad for course 1 and beef, chicken and crab cakes for the main. I had the beef, which was tasty (nothing to necessarily write home about), my husband had the chicken (cleared his plate), but the clear winner of the day was the jumbo lump crab cake (everyone who had it, even the pickiest of eaters, raved and raved about them). The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout the event and treated all of our guests with kindness. They were also extremely accommodating given the last minutes changes in head count, associated with a week of constant snowing and changes in RSVPs. Although, I'm a Delco native, I currently live in Philadelphia. And this place, like so many other Delco staples reminds me of the simple, kindness from Delco people and their establishments. This venue is certainly off of the beaten path, but I certainly hope to return one day ... Maybe even for a birthday party for our little boy (that is, if he isn't completely over the nautical theme - by the time he gets old enough to have a say)! Thanks CYC for a great day and a fabulous shower, despite the crazy freezing rain and snow storm!
We had a wedding celebration at the club this past Saturday evening. When arranged we were happy that it met our needs and likes; but at the finish, it turned into amazingly awesome! Still reeling on how grand the event turned out and the guests continue to comment about their enjoyable time. The food was fresh, delicious and artfully presented and the serving staff attentive ~ all in a beautifully unique, historic atmosphere. If you think outside the box (we had a 1930's theme and arrived by vintage car) or even if desires are more traditional, this could easily be your venue! The staff is accommodating to YOUR wishes and extremely nice to work with. Kudos to General Manager, George, and catering coordinator, Danielle!
this place is awful. if you have money to spend on a nice club for leisure and downtime...go somewhere else. for starters this place offered sailing lessons which a large group of us paid our fee and registered. they said that saling lessons started at 6. everyone was on time. there was food that was provided before which was god awful. as we approach out 6pm lessons we werent even notified that they stopped doing lessons at 4pm. we found that out as were sitting in a ridiculous boat ride on lawn chairs! to top it off the man driving the boat was completely rude. he hussled people off and on the boat and yelled at us for not "being on time!" i was about to lose it. Such terrible hospitality or sense of welcoming potential new members or people who signed up and PAID for the class. complete scam! dont waste your time or money.

I've eaten dinner here at least 6 times, almost every time we've had lobster and steak, and it has always been very good.
