Superyacht Nomad is a thrilling yacht charter vessel for those looking to cruise the open seas in large numbers in the utmost comfort

The 54.9m/180'1" motor yacht 'Nomad' by the Dutch shipyard Amels offers flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins and features interior styling by Bonesteel Trout Hall.

Offering an abundance of social and dining options, as well as a highly attentive crew, luxury charters aboard motor yacht Nomad are set to be truly magical whatever the destination.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2019, Nomad offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and one double cabin. The supremely spacious full beam master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room. The bed configuration includes 3 convertible. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Nomad is easy thanks to the available amenities such as a deck jacuzzi, perfect to enjoy the scenery with your favourite drink in hand.

Nomad benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 5,100 nautical miles from her 115,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Nomad knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with an extensive selection of action packed water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. In addition there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Nomad also features a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, wakesurf boards, fishing equipment and much more. Nomad features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 14.3m/46'11" Freeman Chase Tender to transport you in style.

Nomad and her crew are available for charter this winter for cruising within . She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the South Pacific.

Amels delivers 55m superyacht Nomad

Amels announced the delivery of the 55m superyacht NOMAD . The yacht is now on the way to the Mediterranean where she will spend all summer.

The owner of NOMAD was specifically looking for ocean-going capabilities, while Amels managed to offer delivery in less than a year.

The yacht designer Tim Heywood created her outstanding exterior with blue hull and grey superstructure in collaboration with the owner and Amels’s in-house team. As for interiors, the US-based studio Bonesteel Trout Hall and the in-house team at Amels worked on the decor to meet the owner’s requirements.

She boasts a huge 190sqm sundeck, where guests can relax in style. The amazing experience of being closer to the sea is enhanced during cruising and while at anchor, thanks to the fold-out balcony in the owner’s suite.

Twelve guests sleep in six staterooms, while the crew quarters allow for 12 professionals.

NOMAD will be cruising through the Caribbean and the US in winter.

Motor Yacht

The 55-metre Nomad is the latest Amels 180 of the Amels Limited Editions Range, launched just 5 months after her sale.

The owner created the bespoke color scheme in collaboration with exterior designer Tim Heywood and the AMELS design team, with a blue tone hull and anthracite grey superstructure for an uninterrupted geometry highlighting the long lines on Bridge Deck and Sun Deck.

The custom interiors are by the owner’s choice of designer Bonesteel Trout Hall, a California-based boutique residential studio, working in collaboration with AMELS interior specialists.

The 55m/180.5ft motor yacht NOMAD has been launched at the Dutch shipyard AMELS . This is one of the Limited Edition 180 models designed by Tim Heywood . She boasts a striking blue hull and grey superstructure, which elongate the exterior lines. The yacht’s interior was created by studio Bonesteel Trout Hall, who were specifically chosen by the owner.

The yacht has been designed for the owner and his family to cruise in various yachting destinations around the world in total comfort. The main deck hosts the owner’s master suite with a fold-out balcony, while five guest staterooms are located on the lower deck. NOMAD offers plenty of room for 12 guests to stay overnight and her crew quarters accommodate 12 staff.

NOMAD will be undergoing the final stage of outfitting and sea trials prior to her delivery this summer. Another motor yacht AMELS LE180 is already in build with expected delivery in summer 2020.

At the sea trials, NOMAD will be testing her cruising capabilities, with her top speed estimated at 15 knots.

First Look: Inside the 55 metre Amels Limited Editions 180 Nomad

Standout features of the Amels 180 include a 190 square metre sundeck complete with a spa pool, bridge deck sky lounge and main deck owner’s suite, complete with a folding balcony.

"This was our first yacht for this family but importantly, we understood what the look and feel of Nomad should be," said Heidi Bonesteel, co-founder of Bonesteel Trout Hall. "We decided that all the backgrounds should be neutral tones; satin finish sycamore, polished chrome and leather."

American designers including Holly Hunt, Hellman Chang, Bright, Troscan and the Italian upholstery brand, Flexform, are found throughout the interior.
