Newly refurbished rooms on 3rd floor, ocean side are great. We were slip tenants on B Dock for 8 years, and have stayed at the Hotel many times. The new room updates are a major plus, and we look forward to staying there again. We also like the late afternoon music in the lounge.

It was very romantic. I love being by the sea wall. It was magical. He slept to the sound of the sea. My husband. People Getting Married, Very Nice!!!. Pure Elegance. I dont think anyone really appreciates such Beauty. Wonderful experiences. Eat this up .. Never give reviews. I never have anyone do such an outstanding job. have stayed at the hotel a few times now, love the location, l do think all places are doing there best to recover from covid 19 , so a little slack is needed, to help businesses get back on their feet.....will be back to USA next year and the portofino.

I’m from Torrance and this is night for me and girl. Every weekend we came here and totally relaxed and had full covered rest All the staffs are super friendly and most of all their bed is super comfy!! Get you sleeping mode right away… also the ocean view is exquisite for the morning vibe

The Portofino Inn, as it was originally named, opened in 1962 by racecar enthusiast Mary Davis. The inn drew thousands of visitors for a three-day welcome celebration for the King Harbor opening and soon became a hangout for racers including Peter Revson, an F1 Grand Prix Winner. The Cannonball Run, a car race from New York to Los Angeles turned feature film, was first run in 1971 with The Portofino Inn as the final destination.
