We're here when you need us for any questions you have. We also offer private instruction to help you build any skills necessary to feel confident and comfortable operating your new boat, as well as delivery and passage assistance.

We will work closely with you to make sure that you have all the information necessary to know exactly what you are buying to ensure it fits your specific budget. We will help you secure a professional marine survey to determine the vessel's current condition, and we will work with you to explore financing options. 

Seller Pays Broker Fees

There is no cost for a buyer to work with a boat broker. T he seller pays all brokerage fees. Fees are negotiated between the selling broker and the buying broker and are deducted from the total sale price. Boat and Yacht Brokerage on the Olympic Peninsula: We are a full service boat and yacht broker specializing in the sale of both power and sailboats for local cruising to ocean voyaging. We bring our 25 years of experience in the marine industry (USCG 100ton Captain and Maritime Instructor) to help you buy your dream boat or sell your current boat! We started Port Townsend Boat Company in 2018 as a way to stay connected to what we love: boats! I grew up playing and working on boats on the Chesapeake Bay, then proceeded to work in Maine, the Caribbean, New Zealand and finally arrived in the PNW in 2003. In 2011 my wife, Kai (a PT local), and I sailed our Ingrid 38, "Velella velella," from Port Townsend to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We then proceeded to live aboard for six winters, while working in PT or Alaska the other half of the year. Once kids came on the scene, we decided it was time to "swallow the anchor" and moved back to Port Townsend full time. We are so thrilled to be back in our favorite port and I'm excited to be able to offer my 25+ years in the marine industry to help people connect with their next boat!
