It’s just you, your love, and the sunset! Speaking of being wowed, your picture-perfect beach sunset is waiting for your wedding day next. Luckily, being on the bay side of Long Beach Island offers countless breathtaking sunsets overlooking the water. Your guests will totally be lining up on the decks to catch a glimpse of this panoramic view! In addition, our NJ Wedding Photographer  is sure to steal you away to capture stunning  Brant Beach Yacht Club wedding photos  with the sunset backdrop. One of our favorite awesome sunset-worthy mentions is for  Morgan and Kevin’s  summer wedding held on June 14th, 2019. Another unforgettable wedding at Brant Beach Yacht Cub was Jenna and Rick’s back in the spring of 2018. Before the busy summer beach season, these two tied the knot there under a wooden alter. Lastly, the two creatively posed under Jenna’s veil with the bright orange colored clouds behind them. 

Bay-lieve it or Not

…we could go on and on about how gorgeous sunset weddings are at Brant Beach Yacht Club! As the outdoor scene is altogether magical, we know that the reception room is where the real party kicks off. First,  Ariel and David’s wedding celebration comes to our minds as we remember how amazing they incorporated their decorations in the stunning ballroom. For example, they had an adorable cupcake display with simple pink roses on each tier, which complemented their fun centerpieces. With just a peak at their photo gallery , you’ll totally be in the mood to start dancing!

Likewise, Brittany and Adrian did not miss out on any details for their wedding night. Before showing off their best dance moves on the packed dance floor, Brittany and Adrian  got ready separately with their wedding parties. Early on, they were preparing for all of their  Brant Beach Yacht Club wedding photos  to be taken for them to cherish forever! Their nautical-inspired decorations and navy tones were the perfect touches at a beachy venue like Brant Beach Yacht Club. The Brant Beach Yacht Club is one of my favorite venues on Long Beach Island. LBI has a number of beautiful wedding venues. But I love a Brant Beach Yacht Club wedding for a number of reasons. Located in Brant Beach, directly on the Barnegat Bay, the Brant Beach Yacht Club has gorgeous views of Barnegat Bay and is on the right side of the island for perfect sunset viewing.

BWE Venue Spotlight | The Brant Beach Yacht Club

The Brant Beach Yacht club is perfect for couples that are looking for a more low key venue, that has all the beautiful views of the island. It has its own beach which is the perfect location for a “toes in the sand” ceremony. The rain plan would include a deck-top ceremony under the awning (at not additional cost to couples)! If the weather is a little on the cooler/windy side, the venue will have the sides (with clear windows) installed before the weekend of your event, to ensure that your guests are happy.

The cost of the Brant Beach Yacht Club covers the rental of the facility for 12 hours on the day of your event. The building and grounds are yours to use form 11:30 am to 11:30 pm. The facility also includes a full professional kitchen. While the cost varies depending on the season, the most you will spend is $8,000 for a Saturday in June or September. Rental also includes tables, banquet chairs, ice maker, and a staff member on site through out your event. The Brant Beach Yacht Club can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests. But in my opinion should not be used for weddings larger than 150. Trust me, any more than 150 (15 tables) the space gets rally tight.

Who is the Brant Beach Yacht Club Perfect For?

Any couple looking for a completely customizable wedding experience is going to love planning a wedding at the BBYC. The benefits of the Brant Beach Yacht Club include your ability to bring in any food or drinks you choose. You can customize your wedding menu, use any caterer you choose (the Yacht Club has a list of preferred caterers who are all amazing!), and add decor and rentals that will create a guest experience that is as unique as you are willing to be. In addition, there are amazing views, and the building and room itself, are designed with a neutral decor allowing any wedding color palette to work perfectly.

Because the Brant Beach Yacht Club is a wedding venue where you have to “bring in” a lot of vendors that would be a part of a typical wedding venue package, it can be a more challenging venue at which to plan a wedding. But it’s by no means impossible. I get so excited every single time I get to plan  Brant Beach Yacht Club weddings. Each one is so unique and different! The staff at the Brant Beach Yacht Club is professional and a breeze to work with.

Fall Wedding at Brant Beach Yacht Club Cara and Patrick

I just loved Cara and Patrick’s fall Brant Beach Yacht club wedding! This stunning day was full of elegant slate blue details, Cara’s favorite color, and reflected their personalities perfectly. Cara and Patrick live up in Hoboken but they love spending their summers in Long Beach Island, so planning their day on the water was a no brainer.

They started their day getting ready with their loved ones at their beach homes and then had a traditional church ceremony at St. Mary of the Pines in Stafford Township. After the ceremony and a joyful church exit, we made a stop at the beach for photos before heading to Brant Beach Yacht Club for the reception. I loved Cara’s dress – it was so perfect for twirling and movement. It was stunning!

Once we were at the yacht club it started to rain but it then cleared up right before the sun was setting over the water so we got some epic sunset photos for these two! There’s nothing like a sunset at Brant Beach Yacht Club! It was the perfect way to end cocktail hour and make their way to their big celebration. There was so much dancing at this wedding – it truly felt like normal pre-covid wedding. I was so happy for these two and their perfect day!

Cara and Patrick, thank you for allowing me to capture your big day! I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon to Italy and are loving the newlywed life!

Brant Beach Yacht Club

Brant Beach Yacht Club was founded in 1947 and is located across seven bay-front blocks on Long Beach Island, Brant Beach, New Jersey.

The mission of the club is threefold:

to promote yachting and foster athletic sports on the water

to promote social functions and camaraderie among the membership

to advance the general prosperity of Long Beach Island

At Brant Beach Yacht Club, we enjoy an active summer and year-round calendar of sailing events, programs, and social activities.

Some highlights of what you’ll find at BBYC are:

Sailing programs and events at an award-winning club

Regattas include local, regional, national, North American, and World Championships.

Programs for youth and adults that make for a memorable summer and lifelong friends.

Social events on a packed summer calendar and throughout the year – with something for everyone to enjoy.

Outstanding facilities that host small casual events and large formal affairs.

Brant beach yacht club wedding photos : the sutton wedding.

Sunday was amazing. The weather was beautiful.  The brides Justin Alexander gown in blush was a jaw-dropper. The couple were in love.  Their friends and family were amazing to be with all day.  The bridesmaids were so sweet and attentive. Everything was perfection!  Brant Beach Yacht Club wedding photos are always some of my favorite, their sunset views are absolute perfection.

The day began with the bride and her squad. Hair and makeup was provided by  Beach House Spa and Sweet Hair Peace.   The bride provided so many sweet and sentimental details, including her engagement ring with her mothers and grandmothers. She honored her father with his photo on her bouquet by Lilly in the Valley Florist . The bridesmaids (who were seriously THE SWEETEST!) had not seen the brides dress so we were able to do a first look with them.  I loved how supportive and caring they all were.  Her gals were SO happy for her.  It was amazing!

The couple opted for a first look. The sun was bright so we decided to take advantage of the lighting through out the day and did portraits at three different times. The couple had a short but sweet ceremony overlooking the water and moved directly into cocktail hour.  From there guests enjoyed amazing food and flowing drinks.  After speeches the party kicked up several notches.  The couples guests were SO fun and danced all night!

I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day for such a sweet and kind couple.  Mr and Mrs Sutton – thank you for having me be a part of such an amazing and joyful day. Sarah – I am still swooning over the “frill” detail on your train.  I have never seen that before and LOVED it!  David – You surprised me with your sweet dance moves.  I had no idea! Too bad you ruined your custom made suit sliding across the floor, whoops!
