C2 is a pristine 33 metre (108ft) Mangusta Gransport yacht offering the absolute latest in high-octane performance, high-end luxury and Italian yachting style. Fresh from her launch in at the end of summer 2022, she’s in absolutely immaculate condition.
What’s special about a brand new Mangusta? The 4,000-horsepower quadruple pod drives deliver exhilarating 25 knot performance – at least twice as fast as the average charter yacht. You also get a lot more living space than most sports yachts can offer, inside and out, along with good fuel economy and a remarkably comfortable ride thanks to her advanced hull shape and powerful stabilisers that keep her motion steady at all times.
There’s also a huge sunpad and a large open-air lounge on the foredeck – it’s the perfect place to relax in the sunshine and enjoy the warm breeze blowing through your hair. When you’ve had enough sun on your skin, the crew can rig up the foredeck awning for shade.
Up on the sundeck you’ll find another spacious, comfortable lounge and outdoor dining area in the shade of the hardtop, plus a chic cocktail bar and more. With two separate social spaces on the top deck alone, plus the spacious lounge in the main deck aft cockpit, everyone can find their own favourite place to relax outdoors with a perfect view.
Step inside and you’ll see how Mangusta deserves its reputation for spectacular style. The floor-to-ceiling windows and huge glass doors of the main saloon make this elegant lounge and dining room feel like an outdoor space, with almost uninterrupted panoramic views in three directions, but the climate in here is precisely, perfectly controlled.
At the forward end of the main deck, your full-beam master suite awaits. This exquisitely styled full-beam cabin is a tranquil haven for private relaxation with a comfy sofa, a study desk, his-and-hers bathrooms, a ceiling TV above the king-size bed and huge windows on both sides to bring the seascape into your bedroom until you push the button to shut the blinds at the end of each perfect day.
Key features
- Exhilarating 25 knot performance – at least twice as fast as the average charter yacht

Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital
There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.
How to find the right boat?
There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.
Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.
This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.
Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such option offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).
If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.
Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.
How to buy tickets?
Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.
“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!” wrote (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.
Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.
Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.
Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.
Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as this offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.
This website (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other website sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.
Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.
“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.
There are two main boarding piers in the city center: Hotel Ukraine and Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.
Where to sit onboard?
Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.
The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.
Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.
There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.

Things To Do
In 2004, Blender magazine named “We Built This City” the worst song ever. A couple decades ago, busting on the 1985 Starship was all the rage. Now? Well, Blender magazine is long gone (it went belly up in 2009) and “We Built This City” has a billion or so streams across digital platforms.
“In magazines, it became a trend to figure out the worst things ever, the worst songs ever, the worst guitar solos ever, or whatever,” Starship frontman Mickey Thomas told the Herald with a laugh. “(The Blender magazine swipe) kind of had a snowball effect. But we’re well past that now. As far as the audience goes, nobody ever hears us play the song and says, ‘Oh, no, not this song again.’”
Starship’s signature song was cool — actually super cool, a No. 1 smash — then uncool, then cool, then uncool, and so on. Like so much in our culture (Hall & Oates, fanny packs, Barbie), “We Built This City” has cycled through blowback and renaissance over and over again. But, as Starship will prove on March 1 at Lynn Memorial Auditorium, thousands of fans don’t care about following cultural whiplash, they just want to enjoy great pop songs and huge rock anthems.
In the 40 plus years, since he joined Jefferson Starship in 1979 and busted out the gate with the glorious groove of “Jane,” Thomas has never tired of singing the hits.
“Sometimes bands of our ilk, get a little bit slow, a little bit less enthusiastic,” he said with another laugh. “I think people are surprised with the high energy level, the vibrancy, that Starship brings to the stage.”
Thomas has no problem loading the set with favorites from every radically different incarnation of the band, even lineups that predate his involvement — you can expect to hear “Sara” and “Jane,” “Miracles” and “White Rabbit.” He seems to have a reverence for each version of the band. He also acknowledges that making hard artistic turns — despite how these 180s make some fans feel — was a necessity to survival.
“It was very intentional to try to completely redefine the sound of the band (with 1985 album “Knee Deep in the Hoopla),” he said. “We thought, if we are going to survive, we’ve got to have a presence on the radio and a presence on MTV… So we took the risk, rolled the dice, and I think we accomplished what we set out to accomplish. But because of the long history of the band going all the way back to the counterculture revolution of the 1960s, the stakes were higher for Starship.”
Fade out holding on to your old sound or reinvent yourself and face cries of sellout — “It’s a double edged sword,” he said.
Of course, if you last long enough you can eventually stop worrying about reinvention. Eventually, the haters move on to hating something else (or go up in smoke like Blender magazine) and a core fanbase will pass your catchy catalog to the kids.
“We see the grandma, the mom, and the daughter all at the show and enjoying it,” Thomas said. “It’s a cool thing in rock these days. There used to be this generation gap in music and I don’t think that exists anymore, and that’s a good thing.”

SpaceX plans nine “Starship” launches for 2024 – “aggressive launch plan”
2024-02-25T18:33:56.028Z
Highlights: SpaceX plans nine “Starship” launches for 2024 – “aggressive launch plan”. If the third ‘Starships’ test flight takes place in March, a giant rocket could theoretically launch almost every month of 2024. The spacecraft, which is placed on the top of the rocket, will in the future transport astronauts to the moon for the US space agency NASA. First manned flight to moon was recently postponed to 2026. SpaceX alone launched 96 rockets last year, plus launches from other providers.

By: Tanja Banner
SpaceX's Starship rocket could soon launch monthly.
This aggressive schedule represents a challenge for the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Boca Chica/Starbase – SpaceX's gigantic rocket "Starship" has only completed two flights so far, but a change in this situation is in sight.
The third launch of the “Starship” is in the starting blocks, only the launch license from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is still missing.
According to a report by
Ars Technica
, it will continue in rapid succession after the third launch in 2024.
Kelvin Coleman, the FAA's commercial space administrator, is quoted as saying, "They have a pretty aggressive launch plan for this year."
And further: “I think there are at least nine launches planned this year.”
If the third “Starship” test flight takes place in March, a giant rocket could theoretically launch almost every month
Coleman emphasizes: “That’s a lot of starts.”
He further emphasizes: “If you make modifications and do them one after the other, it's a lot of work.” Therefore, discussions are being held with SpaceX to find out how this project can be implemented.
Commercial space travel: SpaceX criticized the FAA's pace of work
Last year, SpaceX criticized the FAA's slow pace of work.
SpaceX's William Gerstenmaier raised concerns: "With the increasing flight rates and the other players coming on board, we see that there may be a major industry problem coming our way, where the pace of government cannot keep up with the pace of development of the private sector."
So far, SpaceX has permission to carry out up to five “Starship” launches per year from the “Starbase” in south Texas.
Now this license is to be adjusted and the number of starts increased to nine.
Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, expects the third Starship launch to take place in early to mid-March.
For the FAA's Coleman, who must license the flight, that timeline seems "about right,"
SpaceX wants to take people to the moon with the “Starship” for NASA
There are valid reasons for the numerous planned “Starship” launches.
The spacecraft, which is placed on the top of the rocket, will in the future transport astronauts to the moon for the US space agency NASA.
The first manned flight to the moon was recently postponed to 2026.
Until then, SpaceX still has a lot to do: For example, the “Starship” is to be refueled in Earth orbit - a technology that has not yet been used and for which some flights will certainly be required.

With the rise of commercial space travel, the number of rocket launches in the United States has increased significantly and now exceeds 100 per year.
SpaceX alone launched 96 rockets last year, plus launches from other providers.
Coleman emphasizes that the FAA is doing its best.
“At the moment we are at about 140 employees and they are pedaling as fast as they can.
We work on the weekends.
We work late into the night.
We need additional staff.”
