A General Description of Motor Yacht BESAME

The well sized superyacht BESAME is a motor yacht. This 30 metre (100 foot) luxury yacht was built at North Star Yachts in 2002. Superyacht BESAME is a beautiful yacht that is able to sleep up to 8 people on board and has a total of 3 crew members. This balanced motor yacht has been designed by naval architects Jack Sarin. Catherine Michael was involved in the interior design.

Luxury Motor Yacht Besame is a 30.60m semi-displacement motor yacht built by NorthStar Yachts in 2002. Part of the NorthStar 100 series, she was designed by Jack Sarin, with interior design by Keith Huzyak and Catherine Michael. Superyacht Besame is equipped with twin MTU 12V 2000M90 engines, enabling top speeds of 24+ knots. Motor yacht Besame is able to accommodate 6 guests in 3 staterooms, including a master suite, a double and a twin.

Shipyard Work & Yacht Design relating to Luxury Yacht BESAME

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Jack Sarin. The formal naval architecture intellectual property are a creation of Jack Sarin. Motor Yacht BESAME received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Catherine Michael. the United States is the country that North Star Yachts built their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 2002 in Kalama Wa she was thereafter handed over to the proud new owner after sea trials. Her core hull was built out of composite. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated mostly with composite. With a width of 6.95 m or 22.8 ft BESAME has reasonable room. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 1.86m (6.1ft). She had refit maintenance and alteration work undertaken by 2008.

M/Y BESAME Engines & Speed:

This boat is installed with twin efficient MTU main engine(s) and can drive at a thrilling maximum limit speed underway at 24 knots. The main engine of the BESAME generates 1480 horse power (or 1089 kilowatts). Her total HP is 2960 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2178. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers.

I realize that Moscow is on the Volga River, which connects to the Caspian Sea, but I’m wondering how foreign vessels can reach it? Or do foreign travel companies just buy a yacht that’s already "in the system"?

From the Caspian Sea, Gary, yachts come up the Volga then on to the Oka River and enter a tributary call the Moskva ("Moscow" in Russian) River. Alternate route is Volga to man-made Moscow Canal (which connects Volga to Moskva River). The big superyachts can’t get into the city limits because the river is only 3 inches deep. Just outside of the city, however, the water is 6 meters deep, perfect for large yachts. Yacht passengers easily travel into the city by limousine. (I imagine thoughts of hovercrafts, etc are a consideration for someday…) James Bond, anyone?
