It features push-button controls for critical sailing functions, reducing the physical effort required and making sailing maneuvers manageable for shorthanded sailing. The sail plan is designed for efficiency, versatility, and power, including a square-headed mainsail, an overlapping J0, a self-tacking jib, a screecher, and an asymmetric spinnaker. This setup ensures that the Nemo can deliver top performance in races while also offering safe and conservative sailing options for cruising.

Beyond its sailing capabilities, Nemo doesn't fall short in providing luxury and comfort. The catamaran boasts the largest salon and cabins in its class, offering expansive living spaces rare in performance multihulls. Creature comforts are abundant, with electric tint smart windows in the salon, a robust air conditioning system, a well-equipped u-shaped galley, a bar area complete with an icemaker and wine fridge, and a BBQ on the aft deck for entertaining. The accommodation includes a pair of king-size VIP cabins and two additional guest cabins, ensuring ample space for guests to relax in privacy. Generous lounging areas both inside and out invite relaxation and socialization, making Nemo as comfortable while at anchor as it is capable while underway.

Additional Information

A pair of Yanmar 4-cylinder turbo diesel engines with 3-bladed Gori feathering propellers provides a comfortable motoring speed of 10 knots under the engine.  Coupled with a fuel capacity of 200 gallons, the boat has a motoring range of approximately 1000 nm.

DC Electrical Power

The primary house bank comprises (3) Lithionics 285AH 24v batteries with an advanced dual-channel battery management system. Each engine has a 185ah 24v alternator, and when combined, both engines can charge the house bank quickly.  Additionally, there are 16 Solbian ultra-thin solar panels totaling 1700 watts. 

AC Electrical Power

Nemo includes a pair of Victron Quattro battery chargers/inverters to supply AC power. There are outlets located conveniently throughout the vessel.

Environmental

Nemo features electric tint smart windows in the salon, enabling privacy and shading (as well as substantial weight savings) with the push of a button. Nemo also includes a robust aircon system via a total of 44,000 BTU. The system can direct conditioned air to either of the aft cabins and can rapidly cool the large salon, especially with the solar reflection of the electro-tint salon windows.

Instrumentation

Nemo features (3) 19” B&G black glass displays powered by the H5000 processor. A full set of B&G H5000 racing instruments is on board. This “performance” level system has multiple dedicated displays for the different trimmers, driver, and tactician ensuring that people have just the right information available to perform at their best. Besides wind, speed, and position information, advanced information such as sheet loads, tack loads, mast rotation, and optimum performance is displayed and recorded. This data is also available over an internal wifi network for use by phone and tablet apps, as well as an integrated Macbook running navigation and performance management software.

Fresh Water

Nemo includes a Spectra Newport 400c watermaker and dual 80-gallon freshwater tanks. 

Digital Switching

Nemo uses a digital switching system supplied by Kinetic Scientific to reduce weight and improve convenience. Many complex tasks are easily accomplished via graphic touchscreen systems.

Communications

Nemo utilizes a B&G V90 VHF radio & B&G AIS for terrestrial communications

Nemo’s fully equipped galley includes a pair of DC refrigerators/freezers, a 4-burner gas cooktop, and a gas oven. There is enough equipment to cruise with 8 guests comfortably.

Mast/Rigging

Featuring a Lorima high modulus carbon fiber rotating mast and boom. Custom, carbon longeron with hydraulic tack lines. 

Curved Z-shaped daggerboards (with powered rake and up/down control) and T-rudders (with powered flaps) create vertical lift and dampen pitch for a smoother, faster, safer ride.

Sail Handling

Push button hydraulic mainsheet and powered traveler allow safe and reliable control of the mainsail from multiple locations around the boat and via digital interfaces (ipad, etc). All winches are Harken 990 (6). Custom longeron features powered control of the tack lines. All sails are on locks.
