As always, our experience was amazing. From my first point of contact, until the receipt of the final invoice, everything went smoothly. Attendees loved the location and the food and service were both fantastic.

Thank you and the kelowna yacht club team for hosting our corporate event. the team were all so attentive and on top of everything. thank you for the excellent customer service, the venue, lake view, food and service were all first class. the timing of each meal course was impeccable. i would highly recommend the kelowna yacht club for your private dinner function., as always, everything was absolutely fantastic. it was seamless, with great service and great food, we were 100% thrilled with everything., sincere thank you to the catering team, the chef and kitchen staff. i have received great feedback about the meeting, and everything was 'awesome' as always, it is a pleasure working with the kyc team, the kelowna yacht club worked so hard to give us a really special anniversary. thank-you doesn’t seem to be enough we had the most wonderful evening even though limited in numbers. the planning, the staff and the food were all fantastic., just wanted to say a thank you for the great job the staff did on our event yesterday. i was happy to refer them for our meeting there and they were very pleased. food was great. staff was great. everything was 10/10. our head office was very happy., thanks so much for everything.  i wanted to let you know what a great time everyone had that night.  the food was fabulous but even more, the leadership team did not stop talking about how amazing mario was and i have to agree.  even while i was just there during the day setting up he was so kind and so helpful.  during the event itself, and in between serving drinks with the other staff member (who was great too), he would come out and check on people in the crowd to see if they needed anything.  i have thrown events for various companies at many venues over the years and i don't know if i've ever worked an event with someone that awesome., just want to say thanks to you and your great service team for such a wonderful job with our group. everything was perfect room ready, everything on time, food was delicious and of course that view – breathtaking and rare for most of us attending. mario particularly was awesome and stood out to us, so friendly and super attentive, he was on the spot when we needed anything and did a really great job ensuring there was always coffee for this group that doesn’t typically sit for 8 hours a day.   we wouldn’t hesitate to use your facilities and team again in the future.   thanks again shelby, the feedback that i have gotten on the kelowna yacht club has been absolutely glowing. our group absolutely loved your venue.  our ceo absolutely loved it and thought the meeting room was by far the best we have had.  i knew they would love the view but he thought the size was just ideal and created a real intimate setting that allowed for good conversation.  from my perspective from a planning point of view, shelby was top notch to deal with.  every email was promptly responded to, any ask i had was quickly dealt with, she accommodated our catering asks and from what i heard your team onsite with my legal colleagues were the best that they have ever dealt with.     i just can’t thank you enough.  our meetings were a huge success and we owe a lot of that to you and your team. please do pass along our sincere praise and thanks to them., thank you, thank you, thank you     i got so many compliments on the reception – our attendees really enjoyed it.  the venue was lovely, the food great (i loved those tacos), and the service awesome.  your team really made sure that we were taken care of – please pass along my thanks. when we return to kelowna, i will be in touch with you, as we would love to come back, there were many comments of admiration from our guests for the setting, the service, the food courses and the music. everyone had a great time, especially us. a party to remember, we will always keep kyc at the forefront of where we will do our events. your customer service and personalized care and patience with me also was off the charts., i just wanted to pass along to you how impressed everyone was. the location, room set-up, food and service was amazing, wow, what an event i cannot say enough good stuff about your venue, and your staff. it was such an amazing success. everyone is raving about the yacht club (and some of them are hard to please).

We were taken to dinner here by members who were well-acquainted with the staff. We got excellent service and food. Very nice surroundings inside, and of course, a great view as well. I believe the restaurant is now open to non-members as well. Nice bar,... restrooms very deluxe. The one drawback is parking. Very small lot and downtown. Had to park a couple of blocks away after circling around. More

Outstanding. Must be a member, be with a member, or be from a reciprocal club. But, this place had the best service that we had experienced in a long time. Outside seating available with views of the lake. food was prepared perfectly. they took their... time to treat us like gold. best part of our trip to Kelowna More

We always enjoy our dining experience at the KYC. Food is above average for a boating club and the service is delivered with a smile and timely.

invited guests from another country for a Birthday, did not receive food after two orders. The waiters are just ignoring our table on July 21st.Upset birthday girl, and after that payment with a tip without a twinge of conscience. A shame!

The birthday celebration we attended was definitely a disappointment on many levels. From the reception we received to the general atmosphere it was lukewarm at most. Our service was fair but the quality of the food was poor. Tepid would best describe the temperature of... my meal when it was served; and after twice having returned it to be heated, I gave up when it at last arrived dried out and crusty. More

Nice venue great vibe but the chef needs to learn how to cook halibut. Most expensive thing on the menu plated well but over cooked and unacceptable

I have been to the Kelowna Yacht club a few times with a member. Each time the service and food was spot on. I will be looking into a membership as it has always been a very good experience.

When we arrived at the restaurant we were asked if we were members or “JUST the public”. I get it that it is a members only establishment and only on the day of the boat show we are allowed in but it sounded really rude.... We were checking it out because we wanted to be members as we saw that they now had boat slips available which was surprising but a great opportunity! The lady who took us to our table was very pleasant! We waited 10 minutes for a server to come by. He was good but the service was very slow. After lunch we waited 15 minutes for our bill (literally, I'm not exaggerating-I kept watching the time because our parking meter was going to run out). When the bill arrived a lady brought it and said “I’m sorry, I didn’t even know that you were my table”. We paid cash and when she came back with the change, she just stood there staring at me and wouldn’t leave the table. I put down the tip, really uncomfortably, and she took it immediately and stuck it in her pocket and then told me she hoped that I bought a new boat and walked away. I told our server that she has his tip but he said that it was fine because she was our server and he was the manager. So I basically just gave her a handout!? The fries were awesome, the Caesar salad was really good but the chicken sandwich was horrible. We will not be members here and we will never come back. More

We went for brunch and it was an amazing meal. The food was excellent and service was near perfect. The atmosphere and view are very relaxed.

This is by far the best view from any restaurant in Kelowna. Foods is always excellent especially on their pasta night. You get to pick your pasta and what toppings you want and they mix it up for you while you watch. Unfortunately members only... we have been fortunate to be guests a couple of times. More

The club has had growing pains this is not a typical restaurant it is a private club. For those who are not members it is a unique experience. Yes the food has been known to be slow arriving but the view and charm of the... servers is second to none. The food and drink prices are among the best in Kelowna. If you find the Golden Arches your cup tea then a private club is not for you. We have been members for over 24 Years and accept the bumps in a new dining experience. R&G More

We stopped in with some friends who are members. Membership required to get in. The food is just ok here. We've had the fish and chips (oily), and a burger (frozen patty). They've got a nice 2nd floor patio over the lake, and always have... good selection of beer on tap, and a good wine list. The staff is uninspired. More

As a long time member of the yacht club, I typically only go here to have a couple of drinks. The food has always been substandard. Not eve close to the quality of the food served downstairs at The Cactus Club.

This was an evening to celebrate so as a family we went for dinner at the Kelowna Yacht Club. The location is superb, the views are outstanding but the food was poor. Our parents are elderly and chose the fish and chips which was mostly... batter. For a property such as this, the food coming out of there kitchen should be superb and if I were a member, I would want more for myself and the guests that I was bringing. More

Atmosphere, service were very good. We were there on a Sunday eve with local friends who were expecting better as were we. It was prime rib Sunday. Popovers, mashed potatoes, veggies, salad and a mediocre rib roast. It was not bad food, but we would... order off the menu next time. The setting was the best. More
