Keeping Your Boat at the Club
The Ithaca Yacht Club has a range of options for members' boats, either afloat or on land. If you want to keep your boat at the club, contact the Harbormaster. Only the Harbormaster can assign slips and members should not allow others to use their slips without permission. For more information, click one of the buttons below.
Marina The fully equipped marina has slips for boats up to 48 ft. in length.
Moorings The moorings at the South Docks are suitable for boats up to 24 ft.
Small Boat Lifts Lifts for jets skis and small boats can be installed on the North Docks.
Boats on Trailers Boats on trailers are stored and launched in the hoist area at the South Docks.
Dinghies Dinghies are stored in the small craft area.
Canoes, Kayaks, Boards & Lockers Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and sailboards are stored in the small craft area. Lockers are available at no charge.
Winter Storage
Winter storage at the club is available for boats in the marina, boats on trailers in the hoist area, and kayaks, canoes, paddleboards,and sailboards on raised racks in the small craft area. Other boats should be removed from the club during the winter.

As new members of the club, we took friends out to dinner, thinking it would be a treat. Food was pretty awful. Staff is friendly. The view is very nice. But we will not eat here again any time soon.
The facility has seen better days, but the views and pleasure of sitting aside the lake listening to the moored boats knocking against the docks is very nice. Went here with family that have been members for years. In fact, our cousin was the first female member admitted when it converted from an all-male membership. Patio and indoor dining areas. Menu is OK, but the quality of the food if very average. Not what one would expect from a private, membership yacht club. Service was fine. Sitting outside, it became chilly and the waitress brought shawls for warmth. Very nice and considerate. The interior was warn and looked to be stripped out. Parties are hosted, but without a gang of people there you would see that the club needs to rehabilitate and dress up the two ball rooms/party areas. This is too prime of a location to let go to seed.
Lovely place for a little party. Very friendly atmosphere, space for basketball, swimming, diving, other yard games and a good size party tent.

The Board of Directors and Members of the Ithaca Yacht Club extend a warm welcome to members of the Lake Ontario Club Cruisers Association.
The Ithaca Yacht Club, located on the western shore of Cayuga Lake, is offering full use of our clubhouse facilities, which includes our dining room, pub, and deck. Eight transient slips with water and electricity are available at the fixed wooden piers to the North of Glenwood Point. These slips can accommodate boats up to 60′ in length with ample depth for sailboats. We offer free docking the first and second night. Additional nights are at a rate of $2 per boat foot.

The Ithaca Yacht Club Youth Sailing and Racing program runs weekly sessions from Monday to Friday for young sailors from 8 to 17 years of age. The program is discounted for IYC family members. For summer 2024, we are offering nine sessions from June 24 to August 23. To register, go to the Youth Sailing Registration page.

small Boat Moorings. The club has a small number of moorings for boats up to 24ft in length. They are just south of the marina opposite the hoist area. The mooring fee includes storage of a tender on shore, on the rack just south of the hoist area. For 2024, the mooring fee is $575 plus tax and the season runs from May 1 to October 31.

The Ithaca Yacht club is located on the waters of Cayuga lake with fabulous views of Cornell University, Ithaca College & the City of Ithaca. Although this is a private club and you must be a member to use the club anyone may reserve the Ithaca Yacht Club for an event! Catering By Luna is the exclusive caterer for IYC and can help you every step of
