This is a first class facility overlooking historic Barnegat Lighthouse and Barnegat Inlet at the north end of Long Beach Island, on the New Jersey shore. The facility has 175 slips with floating docks, dockside water and electric service, a club house and a heated pool.

Overall rating

Absolutely one of the nicest facilities around. Great dock hands, docks and amenities. Plenty of water at all tides. Nice pool and spotless restrooms. Barnegat Light also had a lot to offer with nice restaurants and of course the lighthouse.

Hidden away, right out in the open, the Bar Harbor Yacht Club is one of Mount Desert Island's greatest secrets. A small, subtly marked driveway off Route 3 leads to the clubhouse, but there is little else to point the way. Finding the BHYC requires a little local knowledge ...  just the way our members planned it.

    Traffic to tranquil ...

The Bar Harbor Yacht Club is a carefully created oasis right in the middle of one of the most popular tourist destinations on the east coast. Just five minutes from downtown Bar Harbor, a member can be in heavy traffic one minute and looking down the club pier onto Frenchman Bay the next. The transformation is breathtakingly fast and invigorating.

Our charming, comfortable, lagoon front “Sea Glass” cottage has plenty of beds and a pool for you to enjoy. Walk to How You Brewin’ for coffee, then trip over to Viking Village for some boutique shopping. Finish with a stop at Off The Hook for tacos made from fish fresh off the boat. Prefer to catch your own? We are one turn from the bay for clamming, crabbing, or whatever else you want to get into. If you are a beach baby, a short bike (or car) ride will get you there. We have 8 badges at the house for your use. What else can you do? Charter a boat or fish off a head boat on 18th street. Play mini golf at Jenn's Links. Say hello to Jack if he's working - he makes a great sausage pizza btw. Got a little hangover? Head to Mustache Bill's for a classic jersey diner breakfast experience (as featured in Diners, Drive-ins and Dives). This rental lets you enjoy it all. We love this area and can offer suggestions to help you make the most of your stay. Keep your eyes out for Diamondback Turtles on the way as there are 2 protected nesting areas on the way to the beach maintained by the Terrapin Nesting Project. If you are lucky, you might spy a lovely lady laying her eggs. Interested in helping the turtles? We had a wonderful stay here over the 4th of July. The home has two nice bedrooms on the first floor and a large loft like area upstairs with several beds. The home is older and weathered in a few spots but very nicely maintained by new owners. Old LBI at its best. Pool is great and it is right on the canal for bay swimming and kayaking. Well stocked all around - kitchen, pool floats,bikes, umbrellas, chairs etc.
