We had a group of 8 and the crew was fantastic! We did not experience anything but excellent service. The crew was very engaged and kept the trip fun, specific instructions were given regarding lunch and times of departure. Would definitely do again.

The crew was so friendly and welcoming, the food was outstanding, the drinks were even better and they didn’t stop serving! We had a child (7 years old) who had never been snorkeling and the crew did great having what he needed to learn. Will absolutely be back to enjoy! Keep up the amazing work!

Went with a big wedding crowd. My 7 and 2yr olds LOVED the trip!! It was awesome. The crew was excellent (im a sailor in MA). Professional, courteous to everyone, great service and funny as heck. It was a very nice trip my kids and us will never forget! Thank you guys! Will see you again this winter!

Extremely fun, absolutely beautiful catamaran trip with lively helpful crew! Lunch was perfect, music was as well, snorkeling was amazing and all equipment was above average. The island of Icacos is breathtaking.

This was an amazing experience. I booked this excursion for my birthday and wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first catamaran and snorkeling experience.We went with the morning excursion and it was well worth the $92. We decided to drive instead of paying the $50 for transportation. It was about a 50 minute drive from San Juan/Isla Verde and the drive was easy, no crazy roads. Parking was on the street and check-in was easy. The crew was super friendly and professional, and made sure everyone had a good time. I felt safe every part of the trip. I plan on coming back in October and will definitely book again.

if you're thinking about booking with the salty dog DO IT!!!!! I cannot recommend the salty dog enough such a great experience with the crew. Now I never give 5 stars but this boat was amazing from the music, to the islands, to the food just great!

Great time and Captain Scottie was awesome

We had a great time on The Salty Dog catamaran! They were very accommodating to us and our 2-year old on board. They provided us all with the appropriate sized life jackets and child snorkel gear. We did the 8am-1pm tour and it was an ample amount of time to experience a beautiful private island and then snorkel on the reef. The beach alone was worth it for the trip. The Crew was very friendly and fun and the drinks were all included. They provided a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages/juices. The food provided was plentiful. We would highly recommend going!

We just got back from Puerto Rico and the highlight of our trip was definitely the catamaran tour with the Salty Dog crew! We booked the private "sunset tour" because of the time difference between California and PR, there was NO WAY we were gonna make a 8 am tour (5 am our time, not including getting up, ready and driving that wat) The crew was amazing and so nice. They let us play our own music and we opt for an hour at a private beach and an hour snorkeling... when we got back they had our snacks set up and it was the best because we were all definitely in need for some snacks when we got back on the boat. If you are looking for a water tour the next time you are in Puerto Rico, look no further, seriously !!! i researched a bunch of places and this was the way to go.

This trip was awesome!! Very attentive crew and captain! We went to great spots, had a great lunch and the drinks were steady. Definitely recommend The Salty Dog over any competition. Fun atmosphere. If I could give them 10 stars I definitely wouldn't hesitate!!

We went on Sunday 3/12/23. This was my 2nd trip with this guide. The 1st trip in 2019 was far better than this time around. Boat was too crowded. We didn't do any snorkeling. And it was NOT as fun. My advice to anyone thinking of snorkeling. DO NOT buy any tickets without checking the rip current weather. It may be sunny, but it NOT necessarily great for snorkeling. If the rip tides bad 5 days prior to your plan trip, I can guarantee you it will be bad for days. For $102 pp just hanging out in one island (Icacos) was pretty boring. I wished the company offered discount since snorkeling was part of the paid price that we did NOT get a chance to do. Boring crew, Crowded boat, Not much going on = Boring Trip.

I booked this for a friends trip and this team did not disappoint. We opted for the $33 round trip addition. Pick up was delayed but they more than made up for it on the boating trip. Let me tell you that boat was a party from start to finish. Think unlimited drinks and a crew that was ready to dance. Our first stop was snorkeling for about a hour. This experience is more for people who have snorkeled in the past, as they didn't give too many pointers on how to do it; however, it is a available. Then it was off to Icacos Island. We spent a couple hours here just lounging on the beach and swimming and eating lunch which was pretty simple but filling. Overall if you're trying to be on somebody's boat in PR, this was the best bang for your buck and the most fun. Book them!!
