With sleek lines, a new stepped hull and a stylish deck plan, the Oceanis 51.1 is the first of a new generation. Easy to shorthand, comfortable and smart, she offers more than seven hundred customization combinations, ensuring there is an Oceanis 51.1 for every sailor’s needs.

Exterior design

One-third of the Oceanis 51.1’s hull is now stepped. In addition to the aesthetics of this flared shape, the new hull creates additional interior space, which in turn allows for exciting new layouts below. Her sleek, modern lines will turn heads in every harbor, while her deck and cockpit setup, replete with relaxation and lounging areas, offers a delightful blend of comfort and safety, both at sea and at anchor.

Interior Design

Large portholes suffuse the elegant Nauta Design interior with light, creating a wonderfully warm atmosphere below, and offering incomparable views whether you are sitting or standing. An elegant palette of woods and upholsteries guarantees your tastes are reflected, and ensure your boat will always feel like home no matter where it is in the world.

RENEWAL OF THE CRUISING YACHT

The Oceanis 51.1 is spacious, elegant, cleverly designed, and fast.

52 foot sailboat

The furling mast, self-tailing jib, and all the halyards and sheets on the standard model are brought back to a single winch at each of the helm stations, making her simple and easy to sail. As for harbor maneuvering, Dock & Go technology simplifies everything.

THE HEIGHT OF COMFORT

The architectural choices that stand out on the Oceanis 51.1 are reflected in her habitability and an incredible amount of space. Inside, the owner cabin has an en-suite shower room and toilet, and a 1.6 m wide island bed.  The fully-fitted U-shaped galley has many convenient features. Truly a space to enjoy together, it is as pleasant to use under sail as it is at anchor.

Fitted with an extra-long carbon or aluminium mast, the Oceanis 51.1 First Line has up to 35% additional sail area in high-tech materials. The boat has a 2.8 m lead bulb keel in this high-performance configuration. This reduces weight and hydrodynamic drag. To complete this version, a composite steering wheel, top-of-the-range deck fittings, and boomsprit marry speed and cruising and promise an all new experience.

Equipped With SEANAPPS

The new Seanapps  app is the ultimate solution to help you indulge your passion for boating. With the touch of your finger, you can easily connect, monitor and order services for your boat – from routine maintenance, to requesting a wash or fuel or having us complete a repair.

52 FLY - The Absolute Direction

52 FLY

The Absolute 52 FLY is a new direction, a ground-breaking example of marine architecture that offers Absolute’s trademark features, including many that are found only on much larger yachts.

Everything was designed to ensure an exceptional cruising experience, with sensations of comfort and space heightened by ample headroom , a minimal use of steps, extensive glazing and countless design details that facilitate life on board for guests and crew.

52 FLY

The 52 FLY’s stunning flybridge is a luxurious platform for enjoying the sea from a lofty viewpoint. The helm station , complete with ergonomic seats and large MFDs offering fingertip control of all onboard systems, is accompanied by settees so that the owner-captain can enjoy good company even when at the controls. With a dining table , a galley and bar unit , the flybridge is a privileged location for life on board, where moments of total relaxation can be enjoyed on its stern terrace area with modular furnishing.

The cockpit terrace , always a highlight of Absolute yachts, is a flexible space that pampers guests from morning to evening. Its modular furniture can be arranged as required, and the adjustable shades ensure comfort as the day progresses. There is easy access to the stern platform for close contact with the sea, and magical moments at sunset can be accompanied by the delights prepared in the nearby wet bar and galley. Absolute’s attention to the best possible views can be seen in the glazed stern parapet and the open gunwale design.

The use of extensive glazing , a familiar Absolute trademark, is particularly visible in the saloon , from where there are fantastic 360-degree views. In addition to air conditioning, natural ventilation can be provided by the electrically-controlled vertically sliding windows. The galley is fully equipped, and, unusually for boats of this size, there is also a spacious pantry .

The main helm station , in direct contact with the saloon, is in a position that ensures optimum visibility, and it features advanced infotronics and comprehensive on-screen monitoring of all on-board systems. A door is conveniently placed for rapid transit from the main helm station to the lateral walkway, facilitating harbour manoeuvres.

52 FLY

The bow location of the master cabin ensures peace, silence and privacy. Its full-beam layout optimises space, with a large double berth accessible from all three sides, extensive cupboards and storage units, and a superb marble bathroom .

The VIP guest cabin midships could in every way be considered a second master, in terms of space, headroom, en-suite bathroom and finish. The third guest cabin has an electricalsystem, fitted as standard, for seamless transformation from twin berths to double. In addition, there is a versatile crew cabin , with practical access from the stern platform.

All in all, the 52 FLY, a paragon of technology, design and performance, is the perfect expression of Absolute’s direction : exploring new routes and navigating to the next level of comfort.

Nordhavn Yachts

NORDHAVN 52

Nordhavn 52.

The Nordhavn 52 differs itself from the 47 with three central design modifications – each of which combines to make a sleeker and slightly more efficient boat. The most significant of these changes is a cockpit extension, which opens up the rear of the boat as well as elongates the yacht’s lines. But the benefits of added waterline length aren’t limited simply to aesthetics. The design team was able to work an extra (approximate) 200 gallons of fuel into the capacity of the boat’s tanks and in turn, bump up the range.

To coincide with the elongated cockpit, the upper level boat deck was lengthened by two feet – a move that serves a dual purpose: not only does this offset the cockpit extension, it enables a bigger tender to be carried on top. Completing the enhanced look is the re-configuration of the flybridge. A purely cosmetic change (no features have been added or altered), the newly-styled flybridge is now more integral with the boat deck and pilothouse roof.

Despite these differences, the N52 is exactly like the 47, and the rest of the Nordhavn line, in her robust construction, superior level of fit and finish, and an ability to deliver her owners anywhere they wish to travel in safety, comfort and luxury.

New Yachts: Gulfstream 52

  • By Kevin Koenig
  • Updated: June 15, 2018

Gulfstream 52

Toward the end of the Palm Beach International Boat Show this spring, I found myself walking the docks, snapping pictures and shaking hands when I turned a corner and came face to face with an outboard-powered behemoth. It was Gulfstream Yachts’ 52-foot center console, painted dark gray, with four 627 hp Seven Marine motors strapped to the transom.

I ogled the boat for a while and moved on, bumping into an old friend shortly afterward. She asked what had caught my interest at the show. I thought for a moment, and my mind wandered back to the Gulfstream, with her razor’s-edge sheer line creating an undeniable presence.

But before I could speak, my friend smiled knowingly and answered her own question: “Have you seen that Gulfstream 52 yet?”

Whom It’s For: With both cruising and fishing layout options, as well as a blistering top speed of 70 knots, the 52 is a serious tender for any mega-yacht owner with a flare for the dramatic.

Picture This: You’re at your dock in Miami and get a hankering for some conch ceviche. You glance at your watch and note that it’s noon. Then you smile looking at your Gulfstream Yachts 52. You’ll be in Bimini in less than an hour.

Performance & beauty.

52 foot sailboat

Easy to Sail

The M52 showcases cruising amenities and exquisite craftsmanship typically only seen on superyachts many times her size. Morris classic styling and Sparkman & Stephens design pedigree combine to produce a unique vessel in this size range, providing the perfect solution to an owner looking for super yacht standards but without the need for paid crew. Sail handling has been thoroughly engineered for simplicity, reliability and ease of use with discreet below deck line-control systems run to the one-man cockpit command center at the helm. Her generous fractional rig with self-tacking jib makes for a sail plan that is powerful yet remarkably easy to control- even by a crew of just one. The M52s sail plan is as simple to control as the M42 or M36.

52 foot sailboat

Interior Opulence

The stunning interior with full standing headroom is finished by Morris craftsmen to the owner’s taste, making each M52 as individual as her owner. Popular interior choices include antique white bulkheads, solid cherry joinery trim and hull sheathing in gloss varnish. The owner’s stateroom features a queen size center line berth and full height hanging locker, bureau and dresser. Natural light floods the interior from the large butterfly hatch in the salon and the U-shaped cherry drop-leaf table dinette with its plush contoured cushions invites you to comfortably lounge or dine with your guests.

52 foot sailboat

Two or Three Cabin Layout

The M52 is fully customizable with a 2 or 3 cabin layout option, so whether it’s just you and your spouse, or the entire family, the M52 is versatile and accommodating.

52 foot sailboat

Coastal Voyager

Like her smaller M42 sistership, the M52 offers a great coastal cruising platform. The 2 or 3 cabin layout provides great accommodation for friends and family and the permanently mounted cockpit table with full length cockpit seats affords maximum comfort for guests. In addition, the rotating table and pull out settee converts the saloon area into a spacious double berth.

52 foot sailboat

As with all sailing boats built by Morris Yachts, the M52 offers peace of mind. You are onboard one of the most seaworthy boats in the world. Setting the industry standard, Morris Yachts’ level of engineering, fit and finish sets the benchmark by which other builders measure themselves. Morris craftsmen and engineers demand only the finest equipment and use the most modern techniques and technology during the boat building process proving that the beauty of a Morris is not only skin deep but integrated throughout all facets of the vessel.

Performance Under Sail

The high performance bulb keel of moderate draft together with a high aspect ratio carbon/epoxy spade rudder and rig are designed and built for speed, stability, and precise control.

Seaworthy and smart for the ultimate cruising experience

The avant-garde, new benchmark for blue-water cruising

The Outremer 52 has been designed based on the observation of the owners’ needs and uses. While performance and safety have always been the basis for the design of Outremer blue water catamarans, simplicity of navigation and quality of life on board are the two essential components that completes the specifications of Outremer teams. Surrounded by the best naval architects (VPLP), and great names in French design (Patrick Le Quément, Darnet Design, Saguez & Partners), the Outremer shipyard has engineered a smart and seaworthy 52-foot catamaran for the ultimate bluewater cruising experience.

52 foot sailboat

Outstanding visibility

Since the performance of a catamaran is largely determined by its weight, ingenuity was required to build the structure of this new model. An innovative technology developed by the Gunboat shipyard (also a member of the Grand Large Yachting Group), has made it possible to reduce the weight of the structure, while maintaining a high level of resistance. This has made it possible to increase the glass surfaces and openings in the boat that allows crews the reassuring benefit from increased visibility during navigation, regardless of their position in the saloon or cockpit.

Whether for ocean crossing, sailing around the world, or along the coast, this 52-foot catamaran will make sailors and their families feel both safe and comfortable on their liveaboard boat.

Improved user experience

This new model has been designed to make life on board easier in all circumstances. While it benefits from the upgrades of the Outremer 55, such as the different helm positions, the front view from the saloon and the helm bench adapted for two people, the Outremer 52 goes even further. The architectural communication between the interior and exterior living spaces allows for better watchkeeping on board: at the bar area in the cockpit, for example, it is possible to have a meal while continuing to keep watch ahead. At night, watches can be taken from the saloon’s bench which was designed in the direction of the navigation.

Inviting space

Everything has been carefully thought out to allow the enjoyment of every aspect of life on board. The Outremer 52 is a blue water cruising catamaran filled with natural light, offering living spaces adapted to long voyages. The common living spaces have been designed to facilitate circulation on board, to extend the feeling of wide-open spaces and to allow for festive moments with family or friends. The full opening of the bay window allows easy circulation and creates a convivial space between the cockpit and the saloon. The kitchen’s work surface is open to the interior and exterior spaces of the catamaran, and will undoubtedly be a privileged place to meet at any time of the day.

Customized and modular interior designs

To meet the very different needs of each catamaran owner, Outremer has designed a modular space called My Free Space. Located in the port forward cabin, this space can cover five different uses:

  • a double cabin
  • a convertible office with bunk beds
  • a modular cabin, with an office convertible into a workshop, a folding bench and numerous storage spaces
  • a dressing room
  • a child’s cabin

“You’re gonna need a bigger boat”

It’s one of the most quotable lines in movie history. If you’re truly shopping for a bigger boat, the Munson 52’ Series has a lot to offer. Like all Munson Boats, every 52’ is individually customized for each client’s unique requirements and application. Our 52’ Series are used by the military for transporting armored personnel carriers, by builders to develop remote islands, or it can be a 52’ offshore sportfishing juggernaut.

A mechanized tool is a machine. We build a very serious 52 foot machine – a machine that does things that other machines can do, as well as a few things other machines can’t do. One of those things is landing on a beach. We challenge anyone to find a better machine for that job.

Our clients say it best…
