Die Bavaria 29 Speed ist ein gelungener (Ent-)Wurf. Er zielt konsequent auf definierte Käuferschichten und Reviere und erfüllt somit die werfteigenen Vorgaben: ein gut segelndes, lebendiges, ja fast schon sportliches Schiff für Binnengewässer und für die kleine aktive Crew mit begrenztem Budget. Segelleistung statt Stauraum und Stehhöhe ist die Devise. Der Preis von rund 95000 Mark geht angesichts von Boot und Ausstattung sehr in Ordnung. Auch wenn Bavaria mit diesem Schiff nicht – wie sonst schon typisch – den größten Teil der Konkurrenz deutlich unterbieten konnte.

Bavaria Yachts was founded in 1978 by the owner of the Winfried Hermann plastic window factory. As a yachtsman, he decided to re-equip the factory and launch the production of sailing cruise yachts at low prices. He liked the idea of making yachts more affordable. The plant began work with the release of 7 and 8-meter boats, and this was the first company in Germany to put the production of yachts on stream.

In 2001, Bavaria Yachts began producing motor yachts, and they also quickly gained popularity, which grew thanks to a winning price / quality ratio. All this has made Bavaria Yachts a national brand.

The flip side of the budget price tag and short production cycle is a simple design, inexpensive materials, build quality corresponding to mass production, and relatively modest driving characteristics.

The company produces a large line of fiberglass cruising sailing yachts from 30 to 65 feet, all of them have a traditional layout with a cockpit in the stern. The motor range includes several 33–55-foot yacht families. These are high-speed gliding cruisers made of fiberglass composite with and without flybridge, as well as open high-speed yachts of a relatively low price category.

In 2014, Bavaria acquired Nautitech, a manufacturer of catamarans from 40 to 54 feet.

I desperately need the electrical wiring diagrams for 2023 Bavaria C45. The shower drain sump pump is not getting power. This boat was just delivered. I’m really surprised at the cost point of this boat and it’s lack of available service information.

Bonjour, heureux propriétaire d'un Bavaria 44 de 2002, je voudrais remplacer les panneaux de ponts. Impossible de trouver la bonne taille chez les concessionnaires, pourriez vous m'indiquer les tailles et les références des 4 petits panneaux de pont ouvrant. Gaining additional practical experience, learning new things and exchanging ideas with each other - more than 35 service technicians from our dealers were able to do all of this during a week-long BAVARIA service workshop at our shipyard.

Last week, the last BAVARIA VISION 42 was completed in Giebelstadt. On Friday morning, part of the BAVARIA YACHTS team gathered to give her a fitting farewell. The sailing yacht celebrated its premiere at the boot Düsseldorf in 2012 and the almost 13 metre long yacht was built in the shipyard for just over 12 years.

At the beginning of last year, the BAVARIA SR41 won the "British Motorboat Award", the BAVARIA SR36 won the "Best of Boat Award" just a few months later and was nominated for the "European Powerboat of the Year". This year, the latest motorboat from Giebelstadt also remains true to this "award tradition".

BAVARIA YACHTS got off to a flying start at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where the German shipyard was represented with a total of eight motor and sailing yachts.
