For the past 25 years, Infinity and Ovation have perfected the art of luxury cruising along the international waterway of Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River.

The Infinity is an expansive 117-foot bi-level vessel trimmed in warm bamboo and accented with stainless steel. Designed for leisure and comfort with ample dining space, Infinity is equipped with a state-of-the-art gourmet galley kitchen, and an extended bow deck for intimate seating. Infinity’s Admiral’s Salon features a relaxed and refined lounge and bar, and a modern, spacious open-air sundeck. Infinity is perfectly suited for parties of 25 to 130.

Tri-level in stature, Ovation is outfitted with sumptuous dark wood interiors; her clear span design provides uninterrupted views of her surroundings. Ovation’s main deck offers a full-length dining salon, and gourmet galley kitchen. The second deck’s entertainment space features a full-service bar, cocktail lounge, private suite and an outdoor aft deck. The yacht’s third level is an extensive open-air sundeck/dance floor with a full-service bar and pilothouse. Ovation invites up to 300 guests to relax in comfort or dance under the stars.

Board Infinity or Ovation St. Clair Shores at Jefferson Beach Marina, or at three different Detroit docking locations including the Waterview Loft at Port Detroit. Each location features dockside space for pre- and post-event festivities. On-site parking, inquire about valet service.

Wonderful Experience on the Ovation!!

In February 2023, we decided to have our wedding on the Ovation Yacht in July 2023. Rachel and the entire team worked with us from the beginning to the end. With a small window of time, everything was planned perfectly. The entire team has everything down to a science!! From designs, to bakery, to the ceremony, everyone was so helpful and experienced. Our special day couldn’t have gone better. We are still talking about it!! We are very appreciative of the entire team involved with the IOYC. We suggest this experience to anyone who has the desire to plan any event. We’re very grateful for all whom were involved with our nuptials. We were even greeted by the president at the end of our cruise! He gave us wonderful compliments and we had the chance to express our gratitude to him. We are currently planning another event for the near future on the Ovation so we will be back!!!!

Our expert Charter Specialists will work with you to provide the best wedding package tailored to your guest count and budgetary needs. Wedding packages range from $10,000 to $35,000 and include 3.5 hours of event time, strolling menu, premium open bar service, custom wedding cake, florals, linens, and disc jockey entertainment. Ceremony packages start at $750 with reception rental. Package minimum are based on a guest minimum of 75. Add additional guests at $85 per person. Additional hours are available. Please inquire directly with the venue. Rental fee includes exclusivity of the yacht.

I was in Detroit for my big CaseTechnical high school reunion. I don't want to tell you what you decade it was because it was a big one:) Anyway, the second day of our reunion was on this dinner cruise ship. I have to say the crew was wonderful and very attentive. The food was excellent and we all enjoyed the view as the sunset. I would recommend this cruise if you had a large party of 200 or more just to have the boat all to yourselves. I do event planning on the side for some very prominent organizations and I have to say I would hire this crew to cater and to serve any day of the week.

My wife's company has an annual spring party, and this year decided to make it a river cruise on the Ovation. Floating parties are new to me, so I don't have much of a basis for comparison, but I was impressed. The crew got the main letdown of the night out of the way early. We (180 altogether) were waiting well beyond the cruise's scheduled start to time to board, and it was kind of cold out on the dock. The delay could have been due to the organizers from my wife's company being a little disorganized, so I'm not sure that's a strike against the crew. One thing to note, purses or any kind of carry-on bag will be searched due to Coast Guard regulations. Once we did get on, we were greeted with crew members holding trays of glasses with beer and wine. Bar service would be get-your-own for the rest of night, but there wasn't much waiting once everyone was settled in. At the bars, there is a limited range of liquors, plus the makings for common cocktails. Appetizer stations offered cheese/fruit/bread and assorted eastern European offerings--foods spanning the cultural space from the Baltic to the Agean. Greek salad, tzadziki and pita, pieroge, flavored sour cream and apple chutney. All were good, and I really could have filled up on the salad and piroge. Entrees were Faygo Rock ' Rye-braised brisket and a chicken breast whose name I can't remember (did I mention the bar service?). Both were good, though the chicken was the best, very tender and savory with cheese melted on top. Salad and various potato concoctions were available with both. After dinner, servers came around with a selection of mini-cakes, and a Sundae bar opened later on the middle deck. Hard to go wrong with cake and ice cream, and the Ovation didn't. The crew were all very friendly and helpful. The ship itself accommodated all 180 of us reasonably well, though seats for dinner were hard to find. That would have been less of a problem in warmer weather, but we were cruising on a cold early May evening, and staying inside was pretty much a necessity. In the rooms, the walls, carpet, and stairs showed some use, but not so much to be off-putting. This is a working boat after all, not a museum. Sunset cruise on a sunless day. But still fun.

I went on the Ovation cruise yacht after finding out that there were various events. There was the New Orleans, Motown, Caribbean and other events. I choose the New Orleans as all other events were full. You board the boar at the Detroit area near the GM renaissance center. It is best to park in one of the buildings near Atwater. There are 2 types of tickets, captains and the regular entry. The captains is $20 extra per ticket and you board early and have a champagne toast. I opted for the regular tickets which are about 120 per ticket. You wait and line and they start to board at 7pm promptly. There were 3 levels and the top most was open air. The ship was nice. The food and drinks are part of the ticket price with an open bar. Seating is limited but they open up here and there. You also get to mingle with people. The food was good. They had roasted chicken, prime rib, roll, vegetables and various cheeses and fruits. There were also small deserts passed around during the ride. The ride is scenic, especially on the canada side. Each floor also had different music. The bottom deck was jazz and the top level was dance and pop. The staff were kind and attentive. Overall it was a good experience and another something nice to do in the Detroit area. I would go again.

We hosted a corporate event onboard the Infinity Yacht. They were outstanding! Every single one of their team members was professional, efficient and helpful. The yacht is gorgeous and the food and beverage service was excellent. The cruise director kept everything flowing smoothly and all of her team members on track. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to host a corporate event in Detroit.
