A comfortable bathing area can be found on a platform at the stern, indeed, time and tide will stand still as you luxuriate in the rear cockpit. Dazzling panoramic views and a sense of space may be glimpsed through the tall windows which surround the lustrous living room. When moored in a picturesque bay, there is no better place to feel at ease while enjoying breakfast and dinner than the dining room with its ample sized table. The WAVE 50 SARA catamaran has a universal design layout, for both owner and charter use, which consists of a large living room with a galley on the main deck, and four guest cabins in the hulls – one of which is the more spacious master suite. Each cabin has its own bathroom and the cabin crew is set apart from the guest living quarters via a separate entrance. Wave Catamarans are custom-made designs. The catamaran is equipped with a modern hybrid drive system which, together with its vast energy storage capacity, provides a myriad of opportunities for the autonomous function of the yacht's systems. An innovative energy management system which constantly monitors the operation of all devices, ensures safety and efficiency will never be compromised. Designed and developed by Wave Catamarans, together with the Gdańsk University of Technology, the hybrid drive system provides three possible modes of operation: Energy mode The motor drive operates in generator mode. The electricity may be generated while sailing on the internal combustion engines or when parked Boost mode The internal combustion engines work in unison with the electric motors, to provide a boost in the power and speed of the catamaran or support the navigation of ports in more difficult weather conditions Silent mode The drive is provided entirely by electric motors, making it possible to swim in hushed silence and in a perfectly eco-friendly way

Sailing yacht WAVE 50 is a 14.95m (49' 1") luxury sailing catamaran from Wave Catamarans, delivered in 2021 from Poland with designer interiors by Agat Kowalska-Stycharz. Piotr was born 1991 in Poland where he graduated Faculty of Maritime Studies. Since a young age he developed interest for the sea and sailing. He start sailing in sailing club at age of 12, and progress through different classes to professional sailor. Piotr started working as a professional skipper in 2014 on sailing yachts and catamarans, as well as sailing instructor. Piotr is certified Yacht Master Unlimited PYA, Motorboat Master Unlimited PYA, Short Range Certificate RYA and STCW certificates. With his experience as a professional skipper he gained noteworthy navigational experience, excellent communication and relationship skills to provide nice and relaxing time on board. He is fluent English speaker with excellent knowledge of Adriatic coast, restaurants and wine tasting routes. Piotr is very patient and approachable person which makes him pleasant to be on board. He likes to entertain kids with water toys, which we have on board, and parents likes him also very much because can fully relax as well 🙂

WHAT MAKES HIM HAPPY BESIDE WORK: He is very keen to develop existing and adopt new skills, he likes to travel and establish new friendships however reading is one of his top hobbies.

Ivana is a unique, individual, versatile adventurous girl with a passion for food and wine. Since the first time she was a part of a guest’s crew she knew this sea life is the one she wanted to choose. Love for sailing made her willing to get the skipper license. Her creative culinary enthusiastic passion for cooking and serving can lead you to have experiential gastronomy every day on board because she worked in a restaurant with professional Michelin´s chefs. Ivana also worked as an adventure specialist and wine guide specialist on board of several Wine sailing trips. Her guidance is full of unique knowledge about Croatian wine tasting routes on the Dalmatian´s Islands (Hvar, Brač, Pelješac). Unbreakable optimistic personality helping clients to get relaxation filing from the first moment when she comes on the boat. During her studies at university, Ivana learned 10+ certified Physio techniques on how to fix body traction problems and relaxation massages. Physical activities are natural with her sporty attitude because she has the same great love for sailing as for the free climbing in high mountains, travelling and speleology in deep caves so the activities with rope are her favorite. Croatian Adriatic sea is her popular place to be and where her freedom grows on the salty horizon. She likes communicating with guests about any topic and entertaining kids with games and water toys so the time on the catamaran is always fun and relaxing with any age of guests. All my life I have been struggling with allergies. For preventive reasons of my health issues, I decided to spend my holiday on board of luxurious catamaran in Adriatic. Salty seawater together with clean air and great red wine positively influenced my health. After one week, I felt ten years younger. As I could see, such a vacation I should have at least two times per year.

My very good business partner recommended trying out holiday on your luxury catamaran. No visitor to the recent Cannes Yachting Festival could have possibly missed the almost revolutionary profile of the Wave 50, making its first appearance among the multihulls on the west quay of Port Canto. Our philosophy here at Multihulls World has always been to be open-minded and charitable about innovations, whatever they may be: a condescending maxim that might claim to summarize five years of development is not our thing! On the contrary, we were desperate to find out more this UFO (unidentified floating object), and of course, to take it out for a sail. We were not at the end of our surprises…

While the term ‘disruptive’ has been somewhat overused in recent times, it finds its full meaning to describe the design of the Wave 50: “ A concept creating a real breakthrough within a sector of activity by radically renewing its function. ” Some would even go so far as to speak of provocation. Agneszka Bona, the young Polish designer in charge of the project, assumes her role… and any criticism. She reveals that the concept of this multihull is “ Something that catches your eye, that’s maybe a bit eccentric. The catamaran is destined for Caribbean charter work, so the idea was to have some shade at the bow. Right from the initial sketches, I drew this rather original shape. I’m lucky that the shipyard trusted me to create something that had never been done before. ” The market is certainly not lacking in multihulls that have a reassuring classicism to them - though perhaps not exciting. So, don’t deny yourself the pleasure of seeing a new player with such thrilling ideas.
