A luxury yacht charter on board 203'5 / 62m Custom motor yacht 'Sealion' is a totally unique vacation experience thanks to a huge variety of amenities and a well-appointed, functional layout. The superyacht was launched in 2009 by Viareggio SuperYachts and her interior styling comes from Candy & Candy. Her exteriors are by the esteemed Espen Oeino.

Blending glitz and glamour with form and functionality, Sealion is one of the most charter-friendly superyachts on the water today. Her multi-million dollar rebuild in 2023 has completely revolutionized her entire aesthetic so even the most discerning charterers will appreciate her glamor, sophistication and endless entertainment opportunities.

Exterior Design

Her two-level sundeck is the star of the show featuring a bar, Jacuzzi, sunpads and even mist options for optimal guest comfort. Her sky lounge deck includes alfresco dining and her main deck aft is another lovely space to enjoy time outdoors. Further aft, there is a rotating sunbed and a selection of loungers, altogether creating the ultimate setting for relaxing or socializing. As well as the sundeck, Sealion's aft decks offer plenty of spots dedicated to the alfresco lifestyle. The upper deck aft offers circular dining adjoined by a long stretch of sofa seating which is perfect for socialising in the evening. The lower deck is equipped with a more intimate seating arrangement that's great for a morning coffee, while the foredeck has a small, secluded sofa area where guests can indulge in some peace and serenity.

Interior Design

Each design element of SEALION's interior was carefully selected to create a unique atmosphere that exudes luxury, featuring elements like Macassar ebony, dark stained oak flooring and silvery-white silk carpet. There is an effortless balance of dark and light tones that give off contrasting warm and cool vibes. Her main salon and dining area are formal, with plenty of dedicated seating, while her sky lounge is a hub of entertainment, complete with a cinema room. The charter yacht's main deck is equipped with a gym for those wishing to maintain a routine while onboard.

Guest Accommodation

SEALION welcomes 12 guests in six beautifully-appointed cabins. Her master suite is situated on the main deck with a raised layout offering panoramic views, a walk-in closet and an en-suite with spa-like features, including a Jacuzzi tub. Her additional accommodations include a VIP suite on the main deck, two doubles and two convertible twins below.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

A charter on Sealion is comfortable and convenient thanks to the provided amenities including a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you including an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Satellite communication systems keep you in touch wherever you voyage and take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

The superyacht's main deck is home to a well-equipped gym, with a TV, Apple system, treadmill, power plate, free weights and Technogym.

Performance & Range

Her sturdy double steel hull, tri-deck layout and NAIAD stabilizing fins make her an ideal yacht for navigating any ocean comfortably and efficiently.

Sealion is built to comply to MCA and RINA standards. With a cruising speed of 15 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 4,000nm from her 158,743 litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.

Onboard Sealion has a large selection of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Another excellent feature are two Airhead Super Marble waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If you enjoy diving you'll appreciate the diving equipment and the PADI certified professionals on board. If that isn't enough Sealion also features a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment and paddleboards. When it comes to Tenders, Sealion has you covered - with three tenders, including a 15.24m/50' Maori Jet Tender.

Sealion and her crew are available for charter this winter for cruising within the Caribbean. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Motor Yacht

Sealyon is a semi-custom motor yacht launched in 2007 by ISA Yachts in Ancona, Italy and most recently refitted in 2009.

ISA Yachts (International Shipyards Ancona) was founded in late 1998 in Ancona, Italy and is now an esteemed brand of Palumbo Superyachts.

Sealyon measures 36.60 metres in length, with a max draft of 1.46 metres and a beam of 7.40 metres.

Sealyon has a GRP hull with a GRP superstructure.

Her interior design is by Argent Design.

Sealyon also features naval architecture by ISA Yachts.

Sealyon is a semi-custom ISASPORT 120 model.

The ISA 120 series is the smallest range of the company’s semi-custom range and features a collection of composite super yachts measuring 36.45 metres in length. The concept was the vision of the team at ISA and the naval architecture of the line is the responsibility of the in-house technical department. The streamlined exterior and sleek-looking design is the work of Andrea Vallicelli while the interior design of the more recent launches have benefited from the talent of the Cristiano Gatto Design Team.

Sealyon has a top speed of 34.00 knots and a cruising speed of 30.00 knots. She is powered by a triple waterjets propulsion system.

Sealyon has a fuel capacity of 22,000 litres, and a water capacity of 4,000 litres.

Multi-award-winning 62m SEALYON exudes luxury on every deck. Originally an in-house project for Viareggio SuperYachts, she was built at their state-of-the-art facilities in Italy and delivered in 2009.

Finished to an exquisite level of detail, she cruises comfortably at 15 knots and features an ultra-modern stabilisation system. A stunning blend of innovative design and old-school glamour, this yacht for charter  was also the first yacht ever to receive RINA Green Plus certification.

With six luxurious staterooms, SEALYON can accommodate up to 12 guests onboard overnight. A true showstopper, the deck level in SEALYON’s master suite is raised to provide breathtaking panoramic views. Decorated with a fabulous art deco flair, this vast suite has a super-king bed and a walk-in dressing room. The large ensuite bathroom is finished in Grigio Carnico marble and equipped with a bathtub and shower plus integrated TVs.

Beautifully finished with clean lines and stylised geometric details, SEALYON’s guest accommodation has an extremely versatile layout. A VIP stateroom is adjacent to the owner’s suite and two double cabins and two twin cabins can be found on the lower deck. SEALYON also has onboard accommodation for her 16-person crew. The crew will be on hand throughout the holiday to ensure your charter more than lives up to your expectations.

On the main deck, the lobby leads into the sophisticated main salon. Combining dark wood with light metallic accents, the salon features a large seating area with a Schimmel grand piano. Lacquered divides separate the lounge area from an elegant formal dining area which features multiple pieces of art from the owner’s private collection.

Located on the upper deck is a beautiful home office finished in rich rosewood. Also on this deck is SEALYON’s stunning media room which features a 103in plasma screen for professional-grade cinema nights on the water. SEALYON also has a high-tech gym located on the main deck. Equipped with a full range of work-out equipment, the gym offers panoramic views during your workout.

SEALYON’s spectacular split-level teak sundeck is a showstopper in every sense of the word. This incredible space was designed with relaxation in mind. Top up your tan on the rotating circular sunbed then cool off in seconds with the handy misting system.

The lounge area  is ideal for al fresco meals while the 12-person Jacuzzi with its chromatherapy lighting  is the perfect spot for sunset cocktails. On the upper deck, you’ll find a formal outdoor dining area with seating for 12 guests. On the main deck, a pair of stairways can be connected to SEALYON’s swim platform for easy access to the water.

A 7m high, 15m long freestyle slide and Jungle Joe climbing tower will definitely be a highlight of the holiday. SEALYON’s extensive collection of inflatables and towables is always a hit with the kids.

• A Magnificent Master suite on the main deck, raised half a level, boasts panoramic views, walk-in dressing area and large Grigio Carnico marble bathroom with a vast Spa bath and shower, both with in-built televisions.
• Beautiful glass guest lift with modesty misting runs from the lower deck with its four guest cabins - two convertible twins and two spacious double cabins - to the bridge deck with its fully equipped rosewood office.
• Spacious media room is the ideal retreat for relaxation; it features a 103 inch HDTV and the world’s first segmented sun chart.
• Stunning teak finished split-level sundeck - The aft area features a rotating sun bed with mist options for cooling down, individual sun loungers, further seating and a bespoke dining table. Forward is a separate lounge area which boasts fabulous sunbathing space, and an oversized 12-person Jacuzzi complete with Chroma therapy lighting, and bar.

+ ACCOMMODATIONS

The main salon is a sophisticated and formal area where dark and light combine; the key elements of Macassar ebony, black lacquer, black jet beading and dark stained oak flooring being contrasted by an off-white deck head, a silvery-white long-piled art silk carpet and upholstery in shades of taupe and metallic silver. All this is moderated by the warm tones of the leather wall paneling. Almond gold and Perspex also have their place, the former plating the many fittings and dividing strips, and the latter particularly noticeable on the Schimmel Grand Piano that stands by the aft deck doors.

Dining Room

Beyond black lacquered divides which separate the main saloon from the dining room is the elegant Macassar ebony-topped table seating 12 guests. Art takes various forms from the bronze sculptures by American artist Frédéric Barnley to the “sea anemone” chandelier above the table and the intriguing “whirlpool whorls” mural by Based Upon that decorates the forward bulkhead.

Forward of the main salon is a photo-art lined passage, exotically floored in luxurious black and gold nero portoro marble, which leads to the VIP cabin and the owner’s suite. Also along this passage is a well-equipped gymnasium that has a laminated glass wall, inlaid with silk thread to provide privacy for those inside whilst flooding the passage with light.

Master Cabin

The deck levels in the forward section of the yacht are raised by half a floor, providing extraordinary views. The master bedroom enjoys an enviable 180-degree panorama through reflection-less vertical windows. Aft of the bed on the port side is the magnificent bathroom with separate shower and bath, tastefully decorated in grey-veined Grigio Carnico marble. A door leads onward from the bathroom into an elegant dressing room. The wardrobes are beautifully fitted to the highest standards, while a full-length mirror hides a video camera that, on command, replays a picture of one’s back view on a digital screen hidden behind the mirror. Whilst there is no office in the master suite itself, a fully equipped study is located on the upper deck, just aft of the bridge.

The VIP is magnificent, incorporating the richest elements of the yacht’s decorative palette, and provided with every possible amenity, from walk-in wardrobe to dressing table, extensive show locker and an exquisite marble-trimmed ensuite bathroom.

Guests Cabins

Four further guest cabins found on the lower deck are all decorated to the same standard as the VIP but with slight chromatic twists. Two are doubles, while the two twins are easily converted into doubles by folding the central side table into the wall, sliding the beds together and unfolding a replacement side table from the wall.

The aft area of the upper deck offers a formal outside dining area which features a round table with an elegant carbon-fibre top and provides seating for 12 guests. Sheltered from the elements, this is the perfect dinner party setting with its elegant seating along the aft rail for pre-dinner cocktails. The stylish interior of the adjacent deck saloon with its vast U-shaped sofa facing a large television screen is ideal for post-dinner entertainment.

Lobby and Lift

The lobby is distinctive for its grey buffalo hide floor and hare wood panelling. Additionally, the glass lift shaft picks up the theme of industrial-chic, with its visible intricate workings and the stainless steel-edged glass windows on each floor that allow light to flood in from the sun deck. Hi-tech motion sensors on each landing automatically grey-out the glass to preserve the modesty of guests walking above on the upper decks.

The sun deck is an incredibly vast space that extends to nearly 50% of the yacht’s entire length. The forward part of the deck offers a spa pool and sunbathing mattresses protected by a low glass windbreak. The bar is centrally positioned beneath the arch mast to maintain a sense of unity between the forward and aft portions of the deck. Wide passages either side of the bar can be closed off with glass doors to reduce a strong through-breeze. Opposite the bar is a dining table to seat 12 people, luxuriously topped with an exotic baobab marble veneer with retractable awning. The dining table can also be lowered to serve as a coffee table or sunbed. A service lift linking this deck with the main deck galley ensures excellent service. Towards the aft is the revolving circular sun bed; and at the press of a button, sun worshippers can be swathed in a cooling water mist.

Bathing Platform & Garage

The aft portion of the main deck is linked to the bathing platform by a pair of stairways that are only accessible when the platform is hinged down from the otherwise closed transom. A door leads forward from the platform, past a convenient head and shower, to give access to the two tender bays. The one on the starboard side carries two jet-skis launched through a shell door that hinges down to create a boarding platform and a handy place to prepare the diving gear that is also stowed in the compartment. To the port side is a larger garage in which the yacht’s main tender is stowed.

SEALYON Yacht – Incredible $35 Million Superyacht

The SEALYON yacht is a 62.0m superyacht built by Viareggio Superyacht in 2009 at their Italian shipyard. She was originally named Candyscape II. 

She was originally built for British property developers, Nick and Christian Candy to replace their previous yacht, Candyscape. 

In 2011, she was sold by the Candys to British investor Anthony Lyons, who listed SEALYON for sale asking for 29,500,000 EUR. 

SEALYON Yacht Interior

The SEALYON yacht interior was penned by English design house Candy & Candy.

Her interiors are inspired by 1930s Hollywood glamour and feature contemporary classic styling. 

Some of the eccentric materials that can be found on the inside of the vessel include dark wood, rosewood, and metallic accents. 

Following the 30’s concept, the interiors are Art Deco styled giving Great Gatsby vibes. 

The main salon is decorated with a Schimmel piano and the owner’s special art collection. 

She can accommodate up to 10 guests across six luxury cabins, including the owner’s cabin, a VIP room, and four convertible guest cabins. She can also carry 16 crew members on board. 

The master suite is located on deck level and features panoramic views, as well as a private dressing room and an ensuite bathroom decorated in Grigio Carnico marble. 

The amenities this stunning yacht offers include a gym on deck, jacuzzi, treadmill, free weights, HDTV TV, iPod system, air-conditioning, and WIFI.

SEASON is also equipped with an exclusive variety of toys such as jet skis, seasons, wakeboard, waterski, banana, doughnut, and snorkeling equipment. 

SEALYON Yacht Exterior

The SEA LYON yacht features exterior design by Espen Øino International and naval architecture by Studio Ing. A. Arnaboldi. 

Her gorgeous white exterior is defined by clean and geometrical lines giving her a contemporary aesthetic. It is built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. 

The vessel has a modern stabilization system to help reduce the roll and side-to-side effect, making the cruising experience even more comfortable and safe.

She has a 23’ Castoldi tender and a U-shaped lounge for guests to enjoy the open air. 

SEALYON Yacht Specifications

The SEALYON yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar engines which give her a cruising speed of 15.0 knots with a range of 4,000 nautical miles. She can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.

This superyacht has a beam of 11.02m, a draft of 3.2m, and a gross tonnage of 1,065. She has a fuel capacity of 141,000 liters and can carry up to 39,000 liters of water. 

The award-winning yacht is built to comply MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) and RINA (Royal Institution of Naval Architects) specifications.

She won first prize at the World Superyacht International for Best Displacement Motor Yacht in 2010. 

Additionally, she is a PADI Certified Training Center and an Approved RYA Water Sports Centre.

She is currently sailing under the United Kingdom flag, she has an annual running cost that goes from $1 to $3 million.
