• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

7 Days - Exuma and Eleuthera: Heading west on the Caribbean sea out of Nassau you can spend the first afternoon and evening on Rose Island before making the crossing to Harbour Island for the next evening. Eleuthera is a short sail south but you will have plenty of opportunities to explore and perhaps go snorkeling. After a half day's sail on to Exuma you can explore these cays, pausing at Norman's Cay and Allan's Cay. From here you will cross back to Nassau to prepare to hand over the boat and head home.

14 Days: On a 14 day Nassau yacht charter you can get as far SE as the salt and flamingo island of Inagua, island hopping through the Bahamas and pausing at places like Eleuthera, Cat Island, Crooked Island, Long Island and Exuma as you explore this fascinating yet extremely chilled part of the world. Get a taste for the local wilderness at West Side National Park close to Andros, before exploring Grand Bahama and then heading back to Nassau.

Best Times To Rent A Yacht In Nassau

Unlike Europe, the sailing season in the Bahamas runs from November to May - perfect for a dose of winter sun. The NE Trades are settled and you will encounter weather between 25-35 degrees C.

Within this period, March and April after the winter northerlies have passed are cooler yet the sailing is just as fun as the rest of the year.

For those who want to try something a little outside their comfort zone, August and September are said to be the very best sailing months of all.

There's a problem with this - many yacht charter fleets will not be in the area thanks to hurricane season that runs between July and November. If booked and a hurricane is on its way your vacation will be canceled. There is no minimising the danger of being in the region in a hurricane - there is no high ground and with the general trend for ever fiercer storms, it is not an experience to even risk being around for.

The cooler part of the year from November to May is better for yacht charters simply because the hurricane season coincides with the hotter and wetter part of the year. As ever, if serious chill is the name of the game, then come out outside of school vacations.

What a beautiful morning! We loved every single moments of this journey. Captain Brax and Scotty are friendly and knowledgeable. They took us around the different islands and as promised we saw plenty of turtles, fishes, and pigs. I highly recommend this tour.

This was our family’s favorite day in the Bahamas. Boat was perfect size for our group of 7. Captain really cared to make sure each person was having a good time, drinks, snorkel gear, anything g else needed. Island stops were amazing especially Footprints beach bar. (Pigs are overrated). Glad we were able to extend our day and hit up all the snorkel spots and beaches. Thanks again. Highly recommend this boat/captain to anyone considering it.

Don’t miss out on this unbelievable experience!!! It was the highlight of our week in the Bahamas! You’ll experience swimming with pigs, amazing snorkeling, relaxing sand bars, and the clearest blue waters! What’s makes this so special is Braxton. Hands down the best captain we’ve ever experienced!

We had an AMAZING time with Brax and his dad, Captain Morgan! They are so kind, friendly and knowledgeable! We felt so relaxed, comfortable and well taken care of by them! We loved seeing Atlantis up close, the snorkeling with the beautiful fish and swimming with the pigs! Everything was great! Thank you guys!

Dale and Natasha were AMAZING!!! We would definitely book with them again. We felt so catered to, and lunch and drinks were delicious! Everyone agreed this was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for making our family trip a memorable one.

Ednie and his mate were great. They made sure everybody had a great time from the ten year to the seventy-seven year old. If you want a fun time in the sun and see the islands around Nassau, I would highly recommend Ednie. His lunch spot was right on time and delicious!!

The flight took off from the city of Cap-Haïtien, about a five-and-a-half-hour drive north from the capital of Port-au-Prince, which is largely under the control of gangs. 

The US State Department announced the charter flight on X Saturday, providing a link for an application for those who wanted to get on it.

It warned that US citizens should consider the flight only if they could reach the Cap-Haïtien airport safely.

This comes days after the State Department said there were no immediate plans to evacuate American citizens, citing the many warnings not to travel to Haiti over the last four years. 

Meanwhile, the non-profit Project Dynamo is working on rescuing at least 40 Americans by air or sea. It’s not clear if any of those people were on board Sunday’s charter flight. 

The State Department says it is aware of at least several hundred more American citizens who are still stuck in Haiti. 

Sunday’s flight comes after the US flew in military forces to beef up security and evacuate non-essential personnel at the American embassy.

Gangs have raged through Haiti in recent weeks, attacking key institutions and shutting down the main international airport.

The chaos has pushed many Haitians to the brink of famine and left many more in increasingly desperate conditions.

The violence has left Haiti’s government in a state of turmoil and prompted Prime Minister Ariel Henry to pledge that he would resign once a key transitional council was in place.
