Pleasant surprise. Visiting the area checking out properties and stopped in at the yacht club bar for a drink and dinner. It was a hot day so a negroni was in order. Stayed conventional with Tanqueray - well done and it hit the spot. For dinner, went with the shrimp and grits. It was really good. The Tasso added a nice spice to it. The grits were nice and creamy. I would definitely order it again. And started with the Caesar salad, which was actually much better than average! They had some nice wines as well. I had a glass (or 2) of Meiomi Pinot noir - a nice find in Eastern TN. Also, you can't beat the view!

Edgar was & is the best this restaurant has ever seen! I never really cared for Skyler. I'm so sad that he was let go just because the company was bought out. He took the best care of my family when we always came to eat. He was professional, welcoming, & always very helpful. I feel as if this company could've done better. Glad to hear all of the talk around the village lately so I can hear what's going on.

Requested a table outside on the patio. Tabletop had multiple stains and judging by the gritty texture when I wiped my hand across it that it hasn't been wiped down since at least the day before. PLEASE put a table cloth and some bunched up napkins on the unstable table legs that rock back and forth so you can eat without your food jumping off the plate! YUCK Patio was rife with cobwebs that defy the imagination, and there are hooks on the patio frame that are devoid of any type of hanging plant growth that could enhance your dining experience. Nope, too much effort. Luckily we just went for cocktails and dessert since we ate dinner at home.. Ordered the 10 shrimp cocktail. I mean, how in Gods name can you screw up a shrimp cocktail? Well they did! I could literally wring out the water from the shrimp (at a cost of $2.70 EACH). If you are going to serve thawed out pre cooked shrimp, press them in paper towels for Gods sake so they don't drip with water when you bite into them! I hate to say this but this restaurant is run by a company that is going to run it into the ground! The servers are the best I've encountered but the upkeep of this property along with the abysmal menu is doomed for failure! Until there is a DRASTIC change in management steer clear of this place!

Super good food, great servers; great support staff, and perfect managing. Overall a 10/10 restaurant!!

We love this place, BUT DO NOT ORDER THE PETITE FILET! This is a $23 streak that turned out to be a bite sized steak. The size of a half dollar coin to be exact. We were shocked to say the least! The yacht club should be embraced to serve this filet. At least put how many ounces the steak is on the menu.

Terrible food. Prime rib was 50% fat, 50% tough as nails. Seafood Risotto was bland and tasteless. Brussels sprouts were soggy yet chewy. Eat somewhere else

Photo of Kristine F.

Filet mignon dinner was delicious! View of harbor was beautiful too! Try the chocolate gnache cake for dessert - it was yummy!

Visited for the first time. We ate outside for social distancing but noticed they were practicing social distancing indoors as well. All servers had masks and they all wore them correctly. The view is amazing! The strawberry salad was fantastic, Brie cheese appetizer didn't disappoint. The salmon was delicious as well and the fried cod was good. Very nice wine list with lots of variety. Our server was super attentive and patient as we were talking so much she had to come back several times. Oh, and their bread is soo good! We will be back!

The bartenders here are terrible. The last two visits were miserable. My martini was terrible. The glass was not chilled. The drink was warm and looked like dirty Grey water. My friend had a Manhattan that was undrinkable. We sent it back and the second drink was the same. Glassware is dirty. And the drink tastes awful. The food generally is okay. Steaks are good. Side vegetables are tasteless. Service is just average. The servers just do the minimal without much personality. The place is missing excitement and fun hospitality. Atmoshere is really nice. Great views. Host staff is just barely friendly. I've been several times this past year but hoping for better management or a new option. Cheers!!

Food very poor done. Snapper was well done, asked for bread when salad was served which I got after the salad was eaten. Waitress was not very attentive.
