Restaurants, shopping and the beaches are all within walking distance to this conveniently located property. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer/dryer inside the condo as well. Wireless internet is available at no charge.

It laps the Boca Ciega Bay and and is only 150 yards from Madeira’s finest white sand beach. Watch the dolphins or even fish from one of three fishing docks within the complex. Cross the road and experience the spectacular sunsets on the beach. Delicious Restaurants, Wide variety of shopping and fun things to do are all within walking distance from our condo.

Want to live like a Madeira Beach local? Look no further, this is your dream place in the Florida Sunshine! This updated and beautifully decorated condo features 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Located in the popular gated community of Madeira Beach Yacht Club, this condo is on the second floor, and has another level once inside (please note, no elevators at this community). Enjoy all the resort style amenities of the Yacht Club, like two large heated pools, an indoor hot tub, fitness room with men's and women's locker rooms and saunas, multiple fishing piers, and paved waterfront walkways around the entire community. Not only will you relax and enjoy the amenities the association boasts, but you will also be within a short walk to world famous Madeira Beach (5 minute walk), plus multiple local restaurants, bars, a full grocery store, convenience stores, and much more!

Enjoy free parking right out front of the building this second floor unit is located in, and a small sitting area once up the stairs. You will love sitting out to take in our gorgeous weather and the distant beach view this unit offers.

Once inside, the main living area is on the first level. There is a comfortable living room with a large flat screen TV, that has a sleeper sofa as well. Around the corner is the full kitchen with all the necessities to make your favorite meals and snacks while you're here. There is also a full dining room table for eating those delicious family recipes. Down the hall from the living room is the half bathroom.

Up the stairs and you are on the second level of this unit- featuring both bedrooms and both full bathrooms. The first bedroom is the guest bedroom, featuring a queen sized bed, big closet, and flat screen TV. The first full bathroom is directly across the hall and has a tub shower combo, and the in unit washer and dryer. Down the hall is the master suite, which has it's own private bathroom with a walk in shower, and the master bedroom has a king sized bed, plenty of closet space, and its own TV.

Walk through the buildings and you will be greeted by the gorgeous intracoastal waterways that line this community. Enjoy grilling up your catch of the day or a burger for lunch on the supplied grill by the water! Whether you want to enjoy watching the boats go by, fish off the piers, or take a stroll down the length of the community, you will always have an incredible view. There are often seabirds, fish, dolphins and manatee playing in the intracoastal, too! The main pool is also a short walk away from this condo, plus the billiards room, fitness room, locker rooms and saunas.

Feel right at home with all of your creature comforts- Free Wifi throughout the unit, TVs in each room, in unit laundry, plus towels and linens provided. You won't even need a car once you're here, with most necessities within a short walking distance.

Please note: The facility does not allow parties or events. There is no smoking allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Thank you in advance for adhering to the NO SMOKING rules. This unit is NOT pet friendly. Absolutely No Pets. For the safety of your children and in consideration of other guests, parents must always supervise their children. The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with a starting supply. Should you run out of anything during your stay, you will need to provide your own supplies.

This unit sleeps 6 people total (this number includes adults, children, and infants).

7 Day notice is required by the Association, and paperwork is required.

2024 Beach Visit

Property served our purposes well. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked for cooking. It was convenient to Madeira Beach and many local eateries. Having Winn-Dixie within walking distance was a bonus. The Main drawback of the property was that as a second and third floor unit, the number of stairs kept our daily level of exercise at a measurable level. Overall, we liked the property and the location.

This is for 230 Medallion The beds and furniture are uncomfortable and very old. Close to pool. That was nice. I would not rent again unless updated. One bathroom

The place is old and not very comfortable. There is a couch and 1 chair in sitting room. The beds are either twin or full size. Mattress uncomfortable We had to use a blow up mattress for our company. Just a little drape on bedroom window so don't plan to sleep in bc it's too bright. Wish I asked more questions. Bathroom very small also. Do not rent.

I found this hidden gem on vrbo, a website I've used since its inception. Once again, vrbo delivered. It was fabulous!!! It was also extremely cheap! I mean cheap as in ... 600.00 for an entire week stay. Our patio overlooked the pool. The location is perfect. It is directly across the street from the beach and the view is not obstructed. The condo is fully stocked with beach accessories, some food, games, movies etc. It is a home away from home. It also sleeps 8 people! There are no bugs in the unit that I have seen. It's exceptionally clean. It's also only a mile and a half from the boardwalk and is close to numerous other activities. There are some cute little shops within walking distance as well. The beach was very uncrowded, and relaxing. Definitely a good spot for families or anyone who likes to save on traveling. The walk to the beach isn't much different than oceanfront properties I've stayed at in the past. (Especially on the gulf side.) The price and location, is unbeatable. It was a clean area. We didn't see anything sketchy, and felt safe. There's also a dock where you can fish on their private property. We caught some fish and we didn't need a license. That was nice too. Even nicer, was that the condo had that gear too. I didn't have to pack much.

This complex is great. We own two units here and the management is excellent. The complex is very well maintained and it is within walking distance to everything. We have the best amenities of any other complexes in the area. The bad reviews on here are from renters who have bad owners/hosts and you can't judge the entire complex from these few. Our rentals and most others in the complex ALWAYS score 5 stars.

DO NOT BUY HERE or RENT! I have lived here for the past 2 years. They have a major problem with termites and they will not address the issue. Horrible management company that runs this place. The management company and the Board of Directors should be SUED!

We rented here for a week of needed sunshine and sand and were very pleased! The grounds are very well maintained, which has to be hard in the hot sun. We enjoyed walking to the beach, grocery and even restaurants. Our unit was clean and a good location within the complex. We would return for another visit without hesitation!!

The Club is centrally located within easy walking distance to shops and beach. It has 2 pools. What I want to comment and make you aware of is **** MADEIRA BEACH YACHT CLUB Rental UNIT 250 E **** While the property is clean with all the amenities that you may need you need to know that this Villa sleeps 6 as it is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath villa that also has a sofa sleeper, however **** IT DOES NOT HAVE A WASHER OR DRYER IN THE UNIT **** There are no on site laundry facilities and according to the Club Office this is the only unit in the club that does not have a Washer and Dryer. While this may be okay for 2 people or a 1 bedroom unit it definitely could be a problem for a larger group or family as you will need to take time out of your day to drive to the laundromat located next to the Daiquiri Deck.

Won't come back. Very noisy, inconveniences everywhere, not much to do close by, streets are busy and so is the poorly maintained beach. One side borders the water full of pretentious yachters and the other faces a noisy community baseball field. Wasn't clean on move in and not worth the price. Yery boring area and even management is very unpleasant

Our Week at Seaside Condo

We had a wonderful stay at this “townhouse” condo! One bedroom that was very large. Definitely good for a family of four. There’s a pull out couch in the sunken part of the bedroom. Main bath very large. Location excellent... 5 minutes from beach. Definitely a great find. Seaside condo, Taylor, very responsive and accommodating!

Very nice place

Great cottage type place and location. Decor was cute and tastefully done. Only one bedroom with a pull out sofa bed in the bedroom which was fine for my daughter and I but would not recommend for more than one couple as it only has a curtain that separates the two beds. Just depends on what you are looking for and how many in your party. Easy short walk to the public beach area. (which was clean and nice) Can also park at the beach for a small fee each day if desired. Sharon and Taylor were great to work with at Seaside Property. they were very helpful and making sure we arrived without any issues. Over all it was a nice stay and would choose to stay here again. (would recommend the unit having few more bath towels and wash cloths)

New Cape Coral Yacht Club designs: Most on council like a coastal, Key West vibe

Given three different design options for the new Yacht Club Community Center , most of the Cape Coral City Council is leaning toward a coastal, Key West-flavor architecture.

At a committee of the whole meeting on Wednesday, the city sought direction from the council on a design direction for the outside of the community building.

"It's a concept, just like we do with anything else, and as we are designing, things may come up that we want to shift and be nimble (on)," said Cape Coral City Manager Michael Ilczyszyn.

James Pankonin with Kimley Horn, a consulting firm focusing on public and private developments, presented the information about the look of the community building.

Cape Coral's Yacht Club Community Park, which includes a yacht basin, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a ballroom, and a beach, has been a popular attraction and staple for the city since the 1960s but is set to undergo major renovations after Hurricane Ian delayed the original plans .

The current plans include a new two-story community center to replace the ballroom, removing the tennis courts, rearranging the area to accommodate a four-story parking garage, a new restaurant, and a new resort-style pool.

The city is also preparing for the demolition of the Yacht Club and its facilities in April as it awaits permits.

No estimates could be provided for the price of the new building.

"It will really come into how much of certain materials are needed and construction methods," Ilczyszyn said.

The city will have that information once they have 30% of the construction design.

Two public meetings for the designs are planned for April 2 and May 7.

After getting public input, the city will vote to amend its contract with Kimley Horn to approve all these changes.

The plan is to have these changes approved or introduced before the summer hiatus.

New Designs for the Yacht Club building

John Bryant with Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors, a Sarasota-based design firm, said the goal with the new designs was to maintain the experience of the original Yacht Club.

The majority of the council preferred option one.

Design one:

Bryant described the first option as "coastal vernacular" and similar to the park buildings at Lake Kennedy and Yellow Fever Creek.

"So it's sort of informed by the current architectural work in 2024," Bryant said. "Kinda Key West."

Councilmember Dan Sheppard and Mayor John Gunter preferred option one.

Gunter said the design was the most pleasing for him.

Councilmember Keith Long liked option one and said he liked the Key West aesthetic.

Councilmember Tom Hayden liked option one.

Design two:

Option two is more informed by the current Yacht Club and would have a stone base and mid-century feel to it, according to Bryant.

"There's certainly opportunity to kind of further develop this option to have even more of the existing Yacht Club feel, but a different vibe, feel than option one," Bryant said.

He also said option two might be more expressive the closer they try to recreate the aesthetic of the old ballroom building.

Councilmember Jessica Cosden liked design two as it incorporated design elements of the old building though she lamented how similar it looked to the first design.

"I wish we could have done more, but I know it's hard with a two-story building, to make it look the same as a very unique one-story building.

Councilmember Bill Steinke said two would be his choice as well, but was wary of additional maintenance of natural wood products used in the design.

"As long as we can bring that aesthetic and keep the maintenance down, number two would be my choice," Steinke said.

Councilmember Robert Welsh said he could go either way, but he liked the look of two.

Design three:

This would be more contemporary and modern.

"Even with a more contemporary language, you can still have warmth, incorporating some wood elements and stone elements," Bryant said.

None of the council members expressed any favorability for the third design.

Inside the new community center

The Community Center will have an additional 10,000 square feet for a total of 47,000 square feet, a history room to remember the first ballroom building on the first floor, and more rooms for civic and community use on the first floor.
