The 60 metre Benetti motor yacht Andreas L , jointly listed for sale by Burgess with Edmiston & Company , has been sold with the buyer introduced by 37 South.

Andreas L is one of an acclaimed series of yachts from Benetti , designed by Stefano Natucci . She was built in steel and aluminium for an experienced owner to Lloyds class, is MCA coded and was delivered in 2008. Fresh from an extensive refit in 2019, she benefits from new soft furnishings, new audio/visual equipment, a superstructure repaint and a main engine and generator overhaul. She also has a new lounge area on the swim platform. Additionally, her 10-year class survey was completed.

Contemporary, elegant styling runs throughout the light and spacious interior by RWD while fantastic open decks, a vast Jacuzzi and excellent sun-lounging spaces provide a host of facilities for life outdoors and there is also a dedicated massage room. Accommodation is provided for 12 guests in six large, airy cabins configured as a master suite, VIP suite (convertible to twins), two doubles and two twins with additional Pullman berths in each. All cabins on this yacht for sale are en suite and there is a fully integrated Kaleidescape on-demand entertainment system and IPod docks throughout.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B DITA engines, she has a top speed of 16 knots and cruises economically at 13 knots.

Motor Yacht

Luxury motor yacht Amnesia III, built in 2008 by Italian shipyard Benetti, carries all the elegance and luxury extras flaunted by her sister ships but with a slightly more contemporary edge. With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she features exterior design by Benetti while her interior is the work of Redman Whiteley Dixon. This impressive vessel measures 60 metres and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

Motor yacht Amnesia III is the third of four current yachts in the Amnesia line built for Graham de Zille, with each successive one featuring evolutionary design elements. The first Amnesia, a 50 metre model, was launched in 2000 and the 55 metre Amnesia II was delivered in 2003. The 65 metre Amnesia IV has now also been launched.

The luxury superyacht boasts an extensive layout that encompasses two large saloons, one on the upper deck and one on the lower. The main saloon creates an ideal entertaining area with its dining room, two lounge areas and widescreen LCD television. Silk cushions add an extra touch of elegance while earthy-coloured Roman shades cover the windows.

Up from the main deck one level is the bridge deck which houses a massage room and a VIP suite. The upper saloon provides great views via its rectangular portholes and is home to a bar, games table, lounge and sofa areas and a large coffee table, all set-off by dark wooden floors and striped carpets. The deck is also home to a sky lounge kitted out with a bar, games table and sofas.

The sundeck atop Amnesia III is hard to ignore, with its highlight perhaps being the massive Jacuzzi with three underwater leather-seated bar stools and colour changing lights that turn the water from deep greens to shocking pink. For relaxing, there are sun pads forward and sunbeds aft, alongside a casual lounge and dining area. An air conditioned gym can also be found in the deck’s centre. Living up to its name as a true sundeck, the area hosts no permanent biminis but rather features movable umbrellas that provide the only shade.

The interior theme of Amnesia III is classically modern, dressed in medium-toned hardwood and contrasting walnut of a darker shade across furniture and door frames. Black marble has been cleverly used to highlight certain areas of the spacious interior.

Amongst her six cabins are an indulgent owner’s suite; a VIP suite; two double staterooms; and two twin staterooms. Located forward on the main deck, the owner’s suite includes his and hers bathrooms, spacious dressing rooms, a private study and a sitting room with flat-screen television. Found on the bridge deck, the VIP suite can also be split into two separate cabins with twin beds if needed. The four remaining guest cabins are located on the bottom deck.

Featuring a dedicated crew, Amnesia III is an excellent charter yacht for luxury vacations. The yacht cruises comfortably at 15 knots while her crew of 16 ensure the needs of every guest are met.

The luxury motor yacht is equipped with an armada of water toys to provide endless entertainment during any yacht charter. Onboard water toys include water skis, floating pad, floating trampoline, sailing dinghies, wave runner, tenders, a catamaran and a full range of scuba and snorkelling equipment.

Amnesia III cruises the Caribbean during the winter charter season and the West Mediterranean during the summer.

Cristinel Neagu

Following on from his excellent track record as Chief Officer on board PV ANNALIESSE and PV ALYSIA, Cristinel joined ANDREAS L back in 2010 as Chief Officer. Cristinel has now earned the position of Captain and took the helm early October 2017 proving excellent command skills. He ensures his guests enjoy a safe and memorable time onboard. Cristinel brings his good-natured character, his hobbies include hiking, photography and music.

Ionela-Elena Botez

Ionela joined ANDREAS L as Chief Stewardess in May 2018 after 12 years in the yachting industry. Ionela has attained a vast experience as Interior Manager on board MY RADIANT (110 m) and as Relief Chief Stewardess on board MY A ( 120 m) over the last 5 years. She has a meticulous eye for detail, an unwavering smile and does her upmost to make your stay onboard an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Her hobbies include hiking, yoga and snorkeling.

Alberto Affer

Head Chef Alberto joined in 2017 after an extensive culinary career both on land and in yachting. Back in 1996, Chef Alberto was Second Head Chef at the Four Seasons in Milano. He kept refining his skills abroad, like in Vienna at the four stars ‘’Hotel Royal’’ where he was managing 2 restaurants and responsible of a brigade of 28 Chefs. In Brazil, he was a Partner in a restaurant-disco employing 57 members of staff. His background in yachting includes Head Chef on board MY DEEP BLUE (45 m), MY ENIGMA ( 71 m) and MY OLMIDA (50 m). His specialties include Italian, French, Spanish, Mexican, Austrian-German, Brazilian and Middle East cuisines.

Jhoan Concepcion

Jhoan joined ANNALIESSE (85.3 m) as a beautician / masseuse early in 2004 and has delighted our guests with her gentle manners and her wide range of treatments. She is fully trained for pampering to the highest standards in massage therapy and beauty treatments. With a dedicated room on board and the option to have your treatments outside in the shade of the sun deck, Jhoan will enhance deep relaxation and well-being. Her favorite past time’s are reading and singing.

Vyacheslav Subota

Slava graduated from Odessa Maritime Academy. After 5 years as Chief Officer on board luxurious yachts such as SS DELPHINE and PV LAUREN L, Slava joined ANDREAS L in 2011 as Chief Officer and obtained his Unlimited Master Certificate in 2012. Determined and reliable, Slava keeps ANDREAS L in pristine condition and is proactive, like having the jet skis in the water in a timely fashion. In his spare time, Slava relaxes driving fast boats or brushing up his computer skills.

Rodica Margineanu

After 3 years as Housekeeper for a prominent Family in Milano, Rodica further developed her skills as Stewardess on board MY XK Enigma ( 73 m expedition yacht) for 2 years and joined ANDREAS L in May 2018. Rodica delights guests with his attention to detail and all aspects of service management.

Further to a 15-year experience in the Hospitality Industry developing her skills both ashore and on board, Alina joined ANDREAS L in May 2017 and proved to be a real asset to the team. Alina is adaptable and will make your stay whatever you want it to be. She is very reliable with a “can do” attitude. In her spare time, Alina likes dancing, music and reading.

Noemi Corpuz

Noemi started her career in the Hospitality industry in the Maldives before joining P/V ALYSIA in 2008. She offers personal service with a charming and genuine smile. Noemi is also a fully qualified masseuse and beautician. In her spare time, you will find Noemi reading and singing.

Costel Stoian

Costel, a fully trained Marine Engineer, graduated in 1992 from the Merchant Maritime College in Constanta. During his 19 year experience, Costel has been Chief Engineer on board P/V LAUREN L (90 m) for 3 years prior to joining ANDREAS L in September 2011. Costel’s extended skills keep ANDREAS L in top running condition for our guest’s ultimate comfort and safety.

Mykola Konoval

Mykola graduated from Odessa Maritime Academy and started working on commercial passenger vessels. He made a seamless transition into yachting as 2nd Officer on board MY BLIND DATE (47 m) from 2014 until 2016 and joined ANDREAS L in 2017. Mykola is eager to make sure our guests make the most of their vacation.

Konstantin Lichikaki

Kosta hails from Odessa – Ukraine’s nautical capital - and graduated from Odessa State Polytechnic University and Odessa Marine College. After an extended experience in the commercial marine sector, Kosta took the opportunity to fine tune his engineer skills on board LAUREN L for 2 years. Kosta joined ANDREAS L in March 2012 with proven record as an electrician engineer. Kosta is a hands on and hardworking crew member whom likes to be involved in all aspects of the yacht. In his leisure time, Kosta enjoys table tennis and computer games.

Pepito Supiter

Born in the South East of the Philippines, Pepito had an affinity for the water at an early age. He graduated from the Marine Training Center in Manila and immediately joined the yachting industry. Over his 24 year career, he spent 20 years on board: PRINCESS SOFIA, ROSENKAVALIER, PRINCESS TANYA, PRINCESS LAUREN, ALTAIR, ANNALIESSE, ALYSIA, LAUREN L and currently ANDREAS L. Pepito will be delighted to prepare each day a different water toy activity, the choice is yours ! Pepito’s favorite past time’s are fishing, swimming, reading and singing.

Indunil Marasinghe

Indunil completed a Food and Beverage course for a year home in Sri Lanka. After several years in the Hospitality Industry, he joined PV ALYSIA in 2007 and joined ANDREAS L in 2010. He is a hard working person, continuously learning and improving his skills. Indunil holds a life guard license and is very committed to ensuring both the comfort and security of our guests. He is a football fan and an accomplished football player himself. Indunil loves listening to music and reading.

Aravind Cheruvath

Aravind holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from University of Calicut. He is a genuine all-rounder and real team player, happy to assist with a friendly smile. He was Chief Housekeeper on board PV LAUREN L (90 m) and was happy to extend his qualifications to be Deckhand since 2012 onboard ANDREAS L. Aravind is discreet and very efficient. A sailor at heart, he enjoys travelling extensively.

Eugen Fasie

Eugen started his career at Sofitel Hotel home in Bucharest back in 1998. For 5 years, Eugen worked on board luxurious cruise ships, travelling the world (USA, Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, South Pacific islands and Australia) and joined ANDREAS L in 2015. Eugen prepares Menus according to the local culture and ingredients. Eugen is well versed into Vegan, lactose intolerant and low carbohydrates. Eugen is friendly, cheerful and flexible.

Deep comfortable sofa seating hugs the entertainment area of the main saloon and in the adjoining formal dining area, the plush wooden furniture brings a look of high-class style.  The upper saloon, also benefits from a luxurious lounging and dining area and is ideal for more intimate gatherings. Andreas L, 60m Benetti in Monaco

Currently cruising the Western Mediterranean, this head turning super yacht was seen in the ports of St Jean Cap Ferrat as well as the nearby port of Monaco.

ANDREAS L is a stunning superyacht, crafted by Benetti with her interior design being the excellent work of Redman Whiteley Dixon. Boasting a beautiful, contemporary design this 60 meter (196’) yacht was launched in 2008. She can accommodate 12 charter guests within 6 luxuriously designed cabins with as many as 15 professional crew members on-board, allowing guest to settle into the utmost comfort.

Benetti yacht ANDREAS L is now called superyacht MIMI , and is available for glorious South Pacific luxury yacht charters from August 2021. During the southern hemisphere spring and summer, make use of her extensive cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles to visit such destinations as New Zealand , the Cook Islands,   Fiji and French Polynesia .

After a change in Owner, M/Y MIMI has had a post-purchase refresh and is in top shape, sporting a pristine white hull and matching superstructure. Outdoor amenities include a sundeck Jacuzzi, an abundance of sunbeds, alfresco lounges and dining areas designed for enjoying the views and local ambience from the shade. Crisp white furnishings are complemented by blue accents for a sophisticated appearance perfect for stylish family getaways or as an impressive backdrop to a special celebration.

Built in 2008 and last refitted in 2019, she sports a beautiful interior from British designers RWD using cream and warm earthy tones. The formal dining area is designed to seat 10 guests to a lavish multi-course meal created by the talented chef, and after a day amongst the incredible snorkelling grounds of the South Pacific, guests will want to sink into the sumptuous sofas and recount their adventures or wind down with a film before bedtime.

The sky lounge offers a second indoor retreat for the heat of the day or evening gatherings and comes with a bar and drinks/games table as well as another sumptuous sofa and TV. For a spot of pampering, the upper deck has spa massage facilities and a beauty salon, so you’re always looking your best for each other as well as social media.

There is a fantastic variety of water toys on board, and the collection includes:

• 1 x jet ski
• 1 x wakeboard
• paddleboards
• fishing equipment, and
• inflatable and towable toys

When guests want to stay dry, there is a range of beach games available, and the interior gym on the sundeck is well-equipped for a range of workouts.

The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins that both have a Pullman berth. The Master Suite on the main deck forward is a private haven, with its own lounge between the bedroom and the main foyer, and separate his-and-hers bathrooms that include a bathtub as well as a shower. All cabins have TV entertainment and sound systems to start and end the day with luxurious little indulgences.

Throughout the voyage, the professional crew of 13 will take care of all the details, having the water toys ready for use in the sparkling blue seas as well as serving up delectable dinners and drinks, and providing spa massage and beauty salon services. I realize that Moscow is on the Volga River, which connects to the Caspian Sea, but I’m wondering how foreign vessels can reach it? Or do foreign travel companies just buy a yacht that’s already "in the system"?

From the Caspian Sea, Gary, yachts come up the Volga then on to the Oka River and enter a tributary call the Moskva ("Moscow" in Russian) River. Alternate route is Volga to man-made Moscow Canal (which connects Volga to Moskva River). The big superyachts can’t get into the city limits because the river is only 3 inches deep. Just outside of the city, however, the water is 6 meters deep, perfect for large yachts. Yacht passengers easily travel into the city by limousine. (I imagine thoughts of hovercrafts, etc are a consideration for someday…) James Bond, anyone?
