Washington Airstream Club

Founded in 1958, the Washington Airstream Club (Unit #112) is the largest club in Airstream Club International with well over 300 members. The Washington Airstream Club is one of 7 units in Region 10 covering the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, plus the Canadian Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory, and Northwest Territory. The Washington Airstream Club is headquartered at the 61 acre Washington Land Yacht Harbor (WLYH) in Olympia, WA. The WLYH is an RV park/Event Center with a " Terraport " for traveling RV'ers. WBAC members will enjoy staying at the WLYH at a special membership price. The WLYH also has a large meeting hall called " Harmony Hall ". It can accommodate 350 people for meals, or just as an event center for many civic functions. The WLYH also has a new " Gatehouse " for smaller venues of around 40 people. Our club has a busy rally and caravan schedule along with many other activities as a result of its size. If you're a newcomer to Airstreaming, this is a great advantage because of the knowledge base on almost any RV'ing subject that our members have accumulated. We are an active, friendly club, and you'll get acquainted easily and make many new Airstreaming friends. Washington Land Yacht Harbor provides a unique traveling opportunity. They are centrally located in the South Puget Sound, just a day’s drive to big city, mountain or sea. Washington Land Yacht Harbor has 160 full hook-up RV Sites, free WiFi, a beautiful grove for outdoor picnics and a fenced dog park. They offer two venues for rent; one a small meeting room with seating for 40 includes a full kitchen and restrooms. The second a large event hall with seating for 350 offers a full kitchen, restrooms and stage suitable for weddings, plays, trades shows or most any type of event. Come visit today at Washington Land Yacht Harbor. Harmony Hall: 6800 sq ft event hall with tables and seating for up to 350, w/optional kitchen. Rent an RV near Lacey , Washington

Reservation vs Reality

We called a month ahead and reserved a space for our 5th wheel for a month, they took our reservation and sent an email for the reservation for the one month.. we get there and were told, they don’t have any month to month sites, we would have to rent week to week for $100 a month more… AND tell us…

Not what expected but cheap

All sites are back in. All connections are in the back so imagine hooking up at a parking lot at the concrete stoppers. Sewer and electric, make sure you got enough tubes and extensions. All gravel in the rv lots, dog only allowed in certain grassy spots. Hook ups seem old and outdated. Very close…

My go to place

This is a great and affordable place to stay while in town. Staff is friendly. Rv sites offer full hookups. WiFi is not the best but does work.

Park your Airstream at the Washington Land Yacht Harbor and hop in your tow-along to make the most of your stay in the South Sound.

Downtown Olympia

The Olympia Farmer’s Market is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh produce, local food vendors, and a vibrant community atmosphere. The market is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., April through October. After you’ve loaded up on local fruits, veggies, and baked goods, take a stroll down the boardwalk between Port Plaza and Percival Landing . You’ll find an observation tower behind Anthony’s Homeport with stunning views of the Washington State capitol building to the south and, on a clear day, the Olympic Mountains to the north, plus charming views of the marina.

If you’re excited about state history or politics, don’t miss a tour of the state capitol and the governor’s mansion. Washington’s state capitol is one of the most beautiful in the country, with lush gardens, historic trees, and stunning views.

Downtown Olympia boasts dozens of delicious restaurants, shops, and arts venues. Catch a movie or a show at the historic Capitol Theater , home of the Olympia Film Society. The Washington Center for the Performing Arts welcomes dance troupes, comedians, and musical acts year-round. Cap your day in Oly with a show!

Get Outside

If you’re inclined to stretch your legs, hop in your car and cruise to the Billy Frank Junior Wildlife Refuge . Less than ten minutes away from the Land Yacht Harbor, this easily accessible river delta park offers four miles of trails and stunning vistas rich with birds and wildlife.

If you feel like driving a bit farther, head to the Mima Mounds . Just 30 minutes south on I-5, these mysterious prairie formations are a sight to behold. Enjoy wildflowers, butterflies, and a few easy trails around this 641-acre National Natural Landmark.

In the mood for a long scenic drive? Head to the Olympic Peninsula! The loop around the peninsula on Highway 101 is doable in a day. Plot your stopping points along the way. Port Townsend, Hurricane Ridge, Rialto Beach, Sol Duc Hot Springs, the Hoh Rain Forest, and Ocean Shores are all excellent candidates for exploration.

If you’re an ocean-going, fish-loving type, you’ll want to consider hiring a charter boat out of Westport for salmon and halibut fishing. This coastal fishing town is just 90 minutes from the Land Yacht Harbor and is also a destination for surfers.

Want to visit a big mountain? Mount Rainier is at your backdoor. Hike, camp, or just take in the scenery surrounding this iconic 14,000-foot active volcano.

A Day in the Big City

When you’re in the mood to explore a big city, you can’t beat Seattle. Don’t miss the Space Needle (especially on a clear day), Pike Place Market , the Chihuly Garden , or the Great Wheel . If you feel like seeing the city from the water, consider booking a day cruise . If you’re towing kids, they’ll love the Pacific Science Center , the Seattle Aquarium , or the Woodland Park Zoo .

We've stayed here multiple times. VERY inexpensive compared to other parks, even with the lack of laundry facilities (I understand they have a septic so cannot have a laundry facility). This used to be an Airstream-only park, and the other half of the park are residences. The entire park is gated, they are working on updating electrical and.... the mushroom farm has moved!!

Staying here right now. Been here for about a month. Office staff is nice and attentive. Area is kept clean and trees trimmed. As stated it is basically a large parking lot. I asked for a nice spot on the end facing bushes so it feels very private. The other guests seem to be quite and keep to themselves. Yes the mushroom farm can smell really bad, not this places fault and I heard the farm is moving out east eventually. Clean, reasonably priced, safe, and quite. I would stay here again.

Staying here for the month of July.One site is the problem site with trash all around and multiple cars coming and going all hours of the day.Two hours ago the police showed up and handcuffed a guy but let him go.Now there is screaming and pounding on the door to be let in the RV.Their water is not working so they are going to empty sites and gathering water.I feel badly for these people but you choose how you live.It is a gravel parking lot with no amentities.Sadly in Washington no evictions are allowed so we will have to leave if we want more peaceful area.

Unbelievably poor customer service where the right hand doesn't know what the left hand us doing. Zero water in the morning. And extremely high rates.

The only reason I am giving this a 1-star rating, is because 0-star rating was not an option. This place has an ideal location, it's split with camper parking on one side, and residence living for the remainder of the park. It is a gravel parking lot, with only 30-amp electric, water and septic. The residence own their homes, but not the pad, so they pay a monthly pad fee to the park. You must own an Air Stream Camper in order to live in the residence housing. Before the end of 2021, the board of trustees decided to convert the RV park back to Air Stream only and gave evictions notices to all campers that did not own an Air Stream, about 2-3-month notice. I personally know of a family of 5, husband is handicapped, (has only one leg), and spends most of his time in a wheelchair. They have 3 children ranging 9 - 15, all in local schools, with in 5 minutes of the park. This particular family had just received their new trailer, 44', which the board of trustees approved them living at the RV park in this trailer. The parents were having a hard time finding a RV park that could accommodate that size RV on a short-term notice, there were some that had lots big enough, but had a waiting list. In February the parents approached the president of the board and requested an extension until the end of the school year, which would provide more time to find another RV park. The board of trustees denied their request for an extension and demanded they depart immediately. It had been reported to this family by numerous residences of the park, that the board of trustees opinion was anyone that did not own an Air Stream was a petty theft criminal. One of the board member's husband had a run in with the gentlemen in the wheel chair because of the kids playing ball near a recreational building. There were some words exchanged, board member's husband went back to his residence and retrieved a gun and threated the handicapped man. Police were called, he was charged with his gun rights revoked. A restraining order was served to him. Recently the board of trustees tripled the monthly pad fees for the residence, mostly Senior Citizens living on their social security. If they follow the same path as they did with the RV park, they will attempt to evict anyone that cannot pay the new high priced pad fee. This family found a place on the east side of Washington. There is not a place that I could recommend less. If you opt to stay here, beware of upsetting a member of the board of trustees, as if you do, they will make your stay miserable until you depart

Nothing but a gravel parking lot with only back in spots, extremely tight and hard to maneuver, no cable, no laundry facilities AND theres a mushroom farm down the road so the air smells like manure! This was the only place with vacancies due to the 4th of July holiday - I see why. Should've just stayed further out.

This is the worst RV and mobile home park. They spay Roundup without any notice to tenants. Roundup is unsafe for humans, pet, and kids. Check this out...major lawsuit going on... I had to click at least one star to submit this posy. But this business has the worst management and maintenance people. If you care about your pets and children's safety, choose a different place to stay! Were you exposed to Roundup or RangerPro and were diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma? You may be entitled to compensation. Finding out if you are eligible for a large settlement for these issues is 100% FREE, fast and easy Monsanto ordered to pay $289 Million (August 2018) France Bans sales of Monsanto's Roundup (2015) World Health Organization classified glyphosate as a probably carcinogen to humans and animals (March 2015)

I'm giving this a 5 star rating because location is away from traffic yet easily accessible to hwy 5. A perfect spot to stop while traveling and needing a place to stay for the night. Very quiet and very simple "after hours registration". $29.35 including tax per night. No cable, no trees to speak of, parking lot style spaces, rock ground. Basically a mobile home, RV storage, RV long term residents community.

I have stayed at this park 3 times now. It is an OK place to stay while visiting the Olympia area. 30 amp only. It is basically a big parking lot with hookups.

Thank you to the staff that let us stay for one night only..we seen many empty spaces around us..yes 30 amp spaces only..we really enjoyed the auto body repair shop that was directly behind us in the rv space with all the Idaho licence plated construction trucks. There's nothing like the constant banging of a slide hammer that wakes you on a beautiful Sat afternoon while taking a nap..beer cans everywhere on the table behind our spot...so so relaxing..the constant slamming of doors, getting tools out of the work trucks..oh and the yelling..we really enjoyed that..oh yeah..they finally stopped at 9:30 pm because the sun went down...if this wasn't the only place in town to stay..we would have left..we backed our 36' footer into our spot....only to find out that you need five stacks of blocks to get your house level..oh yeah trust me...put as much landing leg out as you can, if you want your house level..it's quite now..and check out is at 1:00pm...Hope our next place doesn't have weekend autobody repair in the rv park there..would like it to be nice and quiet..might need a nap....the people are nice and this is just a stop over us..would have to think hard about comming back..

Vehicle Policy

Extra vehicles, boats, utility trailers, car dollies and such are not to be parked on site. You are allowed to park a recreational vehicle and one companion vehicle at an assigned site. All RV’s must be self-contained. Please park any additional vehicles in designated parking area or arrange for use of vehicle storage area. Speed limit is 15 miles per hour. Vehicle maintenance, oil changes or repairs are not allowed on site. Emergency repairs may be allowed with WLYH management approval. Vehicles may only be washed in the designated area at the South end of RV parking area.

Pets must be on a leash and under control of owner when not inside the RV. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after pets. Pets, other than service animals, are not allowed in Harmony Hall, gatehouse or grass gathering areas on north and south sides of Harmony Hall. An off- leash area is available along the west fence in the grove near the RV storage. Pets may not disturb others with excessive barking or howling. Pets are not to be tied up to any park property at any time.
