Palumbo Superyachts began to take root in 2008, when the Columbus Yachts brand was established, and in 2011 launched its first 54 metre superyacht, emblematically christened “Prima” (“the First”).

Taiba measures 55.70 metres in length.

Taiba has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Her interior design is by Francesca Cianficconi.

TAIBA Yacht for Charter

The 182.9-foot (55.7m) luxury six deck motor yacht TAIBA was launched in 2015 and offers the very best charter experience. TAIBI was built by Palumbo Yachts and boasts an exterior designed by Hydro Tec with an eclectic interior design by Francesca Cianficconi. With plenty of indoor and outdoor space to socialize and relax, including an outdoor cinema screen, Jacuzzi and massage room, she is the perfect charter yacht for multi-generational family groups or friends looking to vacation together.

TAIBI offers impressive indoor and outdoor spaces for every occasion. Her spacious sundeck features a large Jacuzzi and a movie screen for the perfect outdoor cinema experience. Plenty of comfortable seating and sunbeds further compliment this deck space. The upper deck and main deck both offer more areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings while at sea, while the bar on the extra deck is the perfect spot for a cocktail. On the lower deck guests can lounge on the swim platform and access the inflatable watersports platform for an easy way to enter the water and jump on to one of the many water toys carried on board. Her enviable toybox contains everything from Jet Skis to Superjets and several towable toys. She also has an inflatable slide which attaches to the sundeck for some added enjoyment for all the family. TAIBA further benefits from being an RYA approved watersports center, allowing guests to earn a license for the duration of their charter on board.

TAIBA’s interior space is very well thought-out with five salons, each offering space to relax and socialize in the surroundings of colorful and bold artwork. Her 360-degree dining area on the bridge deck is a notable set-up, as is the cinema and games room on the main deck. TAIBA is described as a colorful yacht with a fun and friendly design that resonates with a sense of energy and playfulness.

TAIBA can accommodate 12 guests in seven luxurious staterooms. The spacious master suite is located on the main deck and has a vast custom-made bed, separate office, walk-in wardrobe and fixed balcony. The en-suite features his-and-her sinks and luxury amenities. The VIP stateroom is located on the bridge deck and features a queen-sized berth and en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and shower. Further accommodation is situated on the lower deck and consists of three double cabins and two twin cabins each with en-suites. TAIBA can also accommodate a crew of 12 to ensure the very best luxury charter experience.

TAIBI boasts an impressive range of 5,000 nautical miles when cruising at 13 knots and a top speed of 16 knots when powered by her twin MTU Diesel engines. TAIBI benefits from Zero Speed stabilizers to increase on board comfort when at anchor and underway.

George Town

The Tropic of Cancer runs directly through George Town, the capital and principal settlement of the Exumas, located on the island of Great Exuma.  This tranquil seaport village opens onto a 15 mile long  harbor.  George Town, partly in the Tropics and partly in the temperate zone, is a favorite port of call for the yachting crowd.  Taylor’d Yacht charters can you make you part of that yachting crowd.

If you need to stock up on supplies, George Town is the place to go, as it has more stores and services than any other spot in the Exumas.  There are dive centers, marinas, markets, a doctor, and a health clinic.  The town often doesn’t bother with street names, but everything’s easy to find.

Georgetown has a colorful history, and its pink and white Government Building, which is said to have been inspired by the architecture of the Government House in  Nassau , grabs the attention of tourists.  It has an intriguing past.  Pirates used Georgetown’s deep water harbor during the 17th century and the “plantation aristocracy” from  Virginia and North and South Carolina  settled here in the 18th century.  Elizabeth Harbor became a refitting base for British vessels, and the U.S. Navy used the port during World War II.

If you want a change of pace from your lovely yacht that you have chartered from   Taylor’d Yacht Charters  and desire to go out at night for a good time, there are a few choices.  The summer nights may be a little quiet, but action can usually be found at Club Peace and Plenty during the winter months.  Activities such as poolside parties and live bands that continuously keep both visitors and locals on the dance floor are a lot of fun.  Two Turtles Inn and Eddie’s Edgewater are also spots you should try out.  One half mile from Georgetown is February Point which includes a great restaurant/bar that has live music one night per week.  Another option, but further out of town, is the Four Season’s Hotel which has a number of bars both indoor and out.

If you’re the active type, Georgetown has plenty to keep you busy. You’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches on Stocking Island in Elizabeth Town.  Both snorkelers and divers will enjoy exploring the many underwater caves and coral gardens.  Aside from the annual yachting and sailing regattas, you can head to Lake Victoria in the heart of Georgetown. I t covers two acres and there you can enjoy boating, sailing, and sea kayaking.
