RJC Yachts and Blake Shaw sell superyacht Cocoa Bean

It’s been a good year for Bob Cury at RJC Yachts as his central listing, Broward’s 43.3m motor yacht Cocoa Bean , is now sold with Blake Shaw & Co. bringing the buyer.

A custom built tri-deck yacht from 1997, she has $1 million worth of sound insulation allowing her to be whisper quiet while underway. A Robin Rose interior features an enormous main saloon, dining saloon and a large on-deck master suite with a private office.

Four additional luxurious staterooms are below deck all with ensuite baths. Outdoor areas include two oversized after decks, vast flybridge and a sundeck with Jacuzzi. Cocoa Bean was asking $10.9 million and was originally listed by Bob in September 2009.

COCOA BEAN Yacht – Captivating $90 M Superyacht

COCOA BEAN yacht is a 73.76-meter yacht capable of accommodating 12 guests in six cabins along with 19 qualified crew members. She was custom built in 2014 by Trinity Yachts and was refitted six years after completion.

She can cruise at 13 knots and go up to 16 knots, and she is also available for charter costing guests $628,000 per week, excluding other expenses.

The designer responsible for the interior of COCOA BEAN yacht was esteemed designer Evan K. Marshall or “EKM.”

Established in 1993, he also had a passion for designing boats, which was quickly recognized by his parents when he was just five years old.

He has expanded his genius by also branching out to other services such as exterior yacht styling, residential interior design, and interior decoration, making him one of the most sought-after designers globally.

He has worked on several yacht projects, such as the OPUS II yacht, a 35.2-meter yacht capable of welcoming up to six guests in three cabins along with six qualified onboard crew members.

She is a relatively light yacht which means she can easily cruise at speeds of 29 knots and go to a top speed of 35 knots.

Another is the LADY LINDA yacht, a 27.86-meter yacht built by Posillipo and completed in 1996. She can easily accommodate up to eight guests and three qualified crew members.

Aboard the COCOA BEAN yacht, guests can spend their time in the yacht’s amenities such as her beach club, a gym, exercise equipment, a deck jacuzzi, an elevator, and underwater lights. She also has complete air conditioning and wifi access.

She also has plenty of toys to play with, such as her jet skis, snorkeling equipment, paddleboards, kayaks, water skis, inflatable water toys, and scuba diving equipment.

She can comfortably fit 12 guests in her six cabins with specifications of 1 Master, 1 VIP, 2 Doubles, and 2 Twins. Additionally, she can also board 19 qualified crew members.

COCOA BEAN has an overall length of 242.9 feet or 74 meters, a beam of 40.8 feet or 12.4 meters, and a draft of 13.1 feet or 4 meters. She was built with a teak deck, an aluminum superstructure, and a steel hull.

She weighs 1,590 gross tons and is powered by 2 x Caterpillar 3512C engines which allow her to cruise at speeds of 13 knots and can go up to a top speed of 16 knots.

She also has massive fuel tanks capable of storing 242,266 liters of fuel which allows her to cover over 6,000 nautical miles.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2017, Lunasea offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, one VIP cabin, two double cabins and two twin cabins. The master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room as well as a his and her bathroom. There are 8 beds in total, including 4 doubles and 4 singles. A crew of twenty, who specialize in creating exceptional charters, are on hand to provide guests with a yacht charter vacation to remember.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Lunasea, notably a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. Kick back and relax in the well-appointed spa plus guests can enjoy a dip in the pool. Make your day truly exceptional at the beach club or maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym. Retreat to the deck jacuzzi and soak up the scenery.

Lunasea benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Satellite communication systems keep you in touch wherever you voyage plus soak up the atmosphere after dark with dramatic underwater lights. Take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times or you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,500 nautical miles from her 167,110 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy endless days of fun on the water with the exceptional collection of water toys and accessories aboard Lunasea. Principle among these are 12m Freestyle cruiser waterslides bringing a sense of fun that all the family can enjoy. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Also there are O'Brien Junior Vortex waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Lunasea also features a seabob, wakeboards, fishing equipment, scuba diving equipment, inflatable water toys and much more. When it comes to Tenders, Lunasea has you covered - with four tenders, including a 9m/29'6" Vikal Limo Tender.

Lunasea is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the South Pacific.
