Boat-booms worden gebruikt om een tender op afstand te houden van een superjacht om een botsing en schade te voorkomen. Boat-booms zijn volautomatisch en kunnen worden bediend met een drukknop of een afstandsbediening. De Boat-booms worden meestal in de buurt van een tender garage of instapplateau geplaatst.

Boat-booms zijn in verschillende varianten leverbaar zoals: non, enkel of dubbel telescopisch, afhankelijk van het benodigde bereik en de beschikbare opslaglengte. Boat-booms kunnen worden geleverd met een box voor het bevestigen in het superjacht – de box kan waterdicht, weerbestendig of niet-geclassificeerd worden.

Om de box te sluiten kan de boat-boom uitgerust worden met een luik dat aan het uiteinde van de boom is gemonteerd en die dezelfde vorm van de romp heeft. Het is ook mogelijk om een luik te leveren die in een voorkeursrichting kan scharnieren. Neem contact met ons op voor meer informatie.

Boarding / Accommodation Ladder

Cramm boarding ladders are the perfect, safe and quick solution for boarding your superyacht. Our ladders are designed to perfection, providing you with an elegant and timeless entrance for your guests and crew.

You can select from a wide range of standard modular products or a fully customised boarding ladder to meet your wishes and demands. For both options, we use the best available materials, deliver total service and assistance during the entire project and guarantee maximum safety while operating.

Besides using Boarding ladders for boarding a superyacht, they can also be used to connect the deck of the yacht with the waterline. This makes it possible to easily board tenders and others from the yacht without the need for a docking platform.

To reach the quay, our modular equipment ladders can bridge a maximum height of 3.20 metres/15 steps, with other lengths available on request. When a longer ladder is required, Cramm offers a customised service to create any desired length. Customers can select from a wide range of step heights, ranging from 180 mm up to 225 mm. Cramm delivers a 200 mm step height as standard, as this is the most comfortable height when using the ladder.

Rotating or Fixed

The rotating ladder offers the user the option to rotate the ladder through 180 degrees. When berthing close to the quay is not possible, the rotating platform provides the option to position the ladder perpendicular to the yacht to increase the reach of the ladder to the quay. To prevent the ladder becoming too steep, the maximum downward angle of our boarding ladders is 50 degrees.

Super Yacht Quality

Cramm ladders are manufactured from stainless steel and are equipped with a teak tread and steps that level out automatically. Lorries and other parts of the boarding ladder can also be manufactured from aluminium, contact one of our sales engineers for your possibilities.

Due to the design, the deflection free off the quay with a maximum load of 250 kg is limited to a minimum and one of the best you can get in the market. We can fulfil all our clients’ wishes and demands, including every possible colour using high-quality mega yacht-quality paint systems. All Cramm ladders meet uncompromised quality and design standards (ISO, LY3).

Custom Design

The ladder can be equipped with various types of lighting and facilities including intercom systems and access control. Cramm also designs, builds and installs various types of ladder storage systems. All our boarding ladders meet the latest quality and design standards. Furthermore, we keep improving our products to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, quality standards and technologies.

Cramm can fully custom-made every wish and need, such as a telescopic section below the boarding ladder to give the ladder extra reach. Contact us for your possibilities:

Storage System

The storage system enables the boarding ladder to be stored in the yacht out of sight. Depending on requirements and the available space for the ladders in the yacht or bulwark, we offer three storage systems:

• Folding out of the bulwark,
• Sliding from below deck stored parallel
• Sliding from below deck stored perpendicular.

Whatever the storage system, all ladders can be equipped with a rotating platform and a wide range of options.

Specifications

Modular maximum height difference 3200 MM (15 steps – with a stepheight of 200 MM), ladderwidth: 600 MM – 700 MM – 800 MM – 900 MM – 1000 MM.

All our boarding ladders have a maximum elevation angle of 50 degrees, with a heigher down angle the ladder will become too steep.
