Bay Access Sailing Foundation is a charitable organization that promotes youth and adult amateur sailing on Galveston Bay and Clear Lake through: • On the water sailing instruction and training • Organization and promotion of regattas • Boating classes • Environmental awareness and education • Scholarships for youth sailing camps Bay Access Sailing Foundation, formed in 1999, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is exempt from Federal income taxes and is qualified to receive tax deductible contributions. Bay Access Sailing Foundation is committed to promoting interest and participation in Youth and Adult Amateur Sailing without regard to an individual’s race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any other proscribed category set forth in federal regulations.

Bay Access Youth Sailing Program is hosted at the Lakewood Yacht Club "Seahorse" facility that is located at the far southern end of the Club. Upon arrival please check with the security guards.

Youth Camp Training offers Sexual Abuse Awareness Training to camps, schools & campuses, law enforcement, churches, child services, ministries and charities. 2020 Summer Camp Counselor Application Applications for becoming a Seahorse and Opti Camp Counselor are now being accepted.
