Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Episode 3 Review: 'Omelette You Finish"

It's the 3rd episode of the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and crew members are already butting heads...

It's the 3rd episode of the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and tensions are already running high. With just 29 hours until charter, Ashley and Tom have just butted heads over Ashley's ageist comments against Tom.

While crew mates Gary and Kelsie tell the pair they just need to kiss and makeup, Ashley and Tom are still reeling from their argument and their hangovers.

Tom And Ashley Clear The Air

Tom seeks Gary's advice, hoping he'll have some insight as to how to approach the situation with Ashley. Ashley vents to Marcos who believes that their squabbles will eventually come to a head, noting a past yachting experience where he got caught sleeping with the entire female crew.

Hoping to clear the air, Tom apologizes to Ashley, saying her ageist comments rub him the wrong way. Ashley tells Tom that her defensiveness came from wanting to stand by her opinion. While it doesn't seem the dust has settled just yet, the two hug and make up.

The Crew Prepares For Their Second Charter

With just 20 hours until charter, Glenn convenes with Gary, Daisy, and Marcos to discuss the incoming guests. As fact sheets are handed out, Daisy's head hangs low with a groan as she recognizes the familiar Erica Rose and her mother, Cindi, a duo that had proved menacing during last year's season . While Daisy is apprehensive about hosting Erica once more, she hopes that the new grouping of friends and the inclusion of Erica's husband will mellow Erica out.

After offering a checklist of tasks to Ashley, Gabriela is dismayed to find that Ashley has yet to complete her chores, leaving Gabriela to pick up the slack. She finds Ashley in the mess with Daisy and confronts her about having shirked her duties . A frustrated Daisy tells the girls she doesn't want to hear it, and hopes they'll reconcile their differences.

Gabriela pulls Gary aside and explains the situation. He tells her that when there's tension between two people on the yacht, it's felt throughout the crew, and that she should apologize. So, Gabriela pulls Ashley for a chat, explaining that she didn't want Ashley's poor performance - or lack thereof - to bode poorly on her. Concerned only with herself, Ashley half-heartedly accepts the apology, saying Gabriela's reaction was uncalled for, and diminishing the titles of second and third stew, dubbing them "obsolete."

Ashley and Gabriela Making Amends Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

Over with the deckhands, Tom struggles to adhere to the rules set by Glenn, Colin, and Gary, misleading an eager Kelsie in her cleaning duties. He then proceeds to scratch the paint of the transom door, once again disobeying Colin's orders that he take the pins out prior to opening the door. Taking note of Tom's attitude, Colin opens up a dialogue with Tom, and the two agree that Tom will have to make some adjustments moving forward in order to ensure complete success.

The Second Charter Guests Arrive

It's 6 hours to charter, and Glenn pulls Daisy aside, revealing he's just received a text that guests Erica, her husband Charles (Chuck), and her mother Cindi were removed from their flight due to a discrepancy with the flight crew. As such, Cindi missed her connecting flight and will be arriving later than anticipated. Unphased as she anticipated this type of behavior, Daisy welcomes the guests, anxious for what's to come.

Erica Rose Charter Guest Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

After providing a tour of the yacht and settling the guests into their rooms, Daisy lays out Marcos' intended dinner menu to the guests. Clearly ecstatic for what Marcos has in store, especially the suggested watermelon gazpacho, Chuck says, "sounds like we're just eating a bunch of crap." Daisy returns the feedback to Marcos who is then bombarded by Erica and her friends who want to make sure their dinner will consist only of foods they've selected. Settling on salad, vegetables, and steak, Erica tells Marcos she doesn't like any pink in her steak.

The Guests Start To Get Picky

At dinner, the guests are extremely pleased, save for late arrival, Cindi, who says her steak wasn't good. Noticing her steak is less than well done, Erica sends her steak back to Marcos who vows never to disobey a guest's food orders again. Leaving the table satisfied and smiling, Chuck remarks that the meal was in the "top 5" of his life. Prior to the guests heading to bed, Daisy confirms with Erica that brunch will be the following day at 11 AM, and that neither breakfast nor lunch need to be served.

Charter Guests Chuck and Erica Rose Ridiculing Marcos' Omelette Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

The following morning, a cranky and hungover Chuck asks why he's not being greeted with a breakfast . Though Marcos had not prepared breakfast per Erica's instructions, he makes a bacon, onion, and cheese omelette to satiate Chuck. Examining the omelette, Chuck is upset to find tomatoes in his omelette, requesting that Daisy ask Marcos to make another omelette per his specifications. Without complaint, Marcos makes Chuck his desired omelette which Chuck and Cindi decide is "disgusting" and "putrid." "I've gotten better food at the ballpark," Chuck says.

Episode Verdict

It's almost comical that Ashley and Tom are at each other's throats the most, tiffing about their respective maturities. In reality, it seems the two have more than enough growing up to do, pouting upon receiving instructions and showing visible agitation toward their superiors.

Speaking of growing up, charter guests Chuck and Cindi have a thing or two to learn about manners. Surely a world-famous chef such as Marcos knows how to make an omelette - in his defense, we think it looked delectable. Maybe you should stick to ballpark food, Chuck. Suffice it to say, the crew of this season's yacht have their work cut out for them.

Allegra and Gabe ‘s wedding on the beach had Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher and Captain Glenn Shephard emotional because of the beautiful ceremony. Co-primary charter guests Matt and Laura, along with other friends, watched their good friends tie the knot. Chef Marcos faced a challenging group of guests and had to make a gluten-free wedding cake.

Junior Stew Ashley Marti got high praise from Daisy and fans for her work preparing the wedding.

Primary Charter Guest Lane Merrifield & Other Guests From Charter 8

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 3 guests

Rich Canadian tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Club Penguin Lane Merrifield brought along a group of friends and his fiancé Amanda. This group of Canadians had a blast partying on the yacht, despite not being able to sail. They showed the crew how to do a hurricane, in which you take a shot, then have someone throw water in your face and slap you. They also had a sailing competition against the crew, which they narrowly lost.

Chef Marcos was put to the test because Lane requested molecular gastronomy , but as always, he rose to the challenge and wowed the guests.

These “classiest, funniest and kindest” charter guests left the crew the best tip of the season, $23,000 or $2,555 per crew member.

Primary Charter Guest Keely Washburn & Other Guests From Charter 7

Everything To Know About Keely Washburn & Other Charter Guests On Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

“Aspiring real estate agent” Keely Washburn, her friends and their moms were the guests on charter 7. This group of charter guests were well-behaved compared to Dr. Kim Nichols and Erica Rose’s groups.

The other charter guests alongside Keely were: friend Jennifer Husk, Husk’s mom Susan, friend Belinda Benham, Benham’s mom Debbie, friend Bailey Fuller, Bailey’s mom Wendy, and friend Jess Cimato.

The ladies didn’t get a lot of screen time to drama happening between the crew, but the most memorable moment was when some of the ladies called Chef Marcos “muy caliente” several times.

Keely and her gang left the crew $16,400, $1,820 for each crew member.

Primary Dr. Kim Nichols & Other Charter Guests From Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 Charter 6

Charter Guest Dr. Kim Nichols From Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Dr. Kim Nichols hasn’t yet come aboard Parsifal but she’s already making waves. Her preference sheet was read out by Captain Glenn Shephard in episode 10 and she wants all the crew to refer to her as “Dr. Nichols”.

Kim is a self-described celebrity cosmetic dermatologist with her own practice, called SkinLab , based in Greenwich, Connecticut. She is happily married to attorney Chris Cabanillas and is a mom of three children.

Kim made TV appearances on Megyn Kelly and Dr. Oz’s shows. Dr. Nichols’ Instagram mostly includes work-related posts of her and her employees conducting procedures and skincare advice.

Kim and her husband Chris chartered Parsifal III with their friends: Investment banker Dino and his wife Donna, Miami surgeon Pedro and his wife Adriana. The group tipped the crew $20,000, which resulted in each cast member making $2,500.

Primary Charter Guest Dawn, Husband & Friends From Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 Charter 5

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 3 guests

On charter 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, charter guests Dawn Zacha and her husband Tim Miller join the crew to sail. The other guests on the charter include their friends: Marni and her husband Brian, Lauren and her husband Jamie.

On Dawn’s Instagram , she shares pictures of her enjoying life in Chicago with husband Tim and their daughter. Dawn’s an independent sales professional, vegan foodie who loves bikinis, yoga and dance. Her husband Tim is a software company CEO who loves sailing on Lake Michigan.

Her friends and husband don’t have their Instagram accounts set to private. On the show they have been relatively tame compared to other charter guests.

These charter guests were pleased with the service, and Dawn enjoyed her vegan meals. They left a generous charter tip of $20,000 or $2,500 for each crew member remaining after Tom’s firing.

4th Charter: Charter Guests Jim Blumenthal, Veronica, Chris, Ken, Rick & Marni

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 3 guests

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 Primary charter guest Jim Blumenthal owns businesses in Boulder, Colorado. He’s the President of Trailer Source and owns an RV dealership, per LinkedIn .

Jim and his friends were fairly easy-going while on the show, except they made the crew do a talent show. His long-term girlfriend Veronica stipulated the sailing yacht should be full of flowers. She’s a registered nurse.

Jim’s good friend Ken is another charter guest on the boat. He’s also a businessman who owns and operates office buildings. He’s a self-described comedian and is married to his wife Chris. She is in charge of the upkeep for their “multiple” homes across the US.

Jim and Veronica’s other friends invited as charter guests were Rick and Marni. Rick is a retired tech company executive and his wife Marni is in sales. Rick also loves to try rare and expensive wines.

Jim, Veronica and Co. left the cast a great tip of $21,000, or $25,030 for each crew member. Tom was fired in the middle of charter, so he was given only $760 in tip money.

3rd Charter: Charter Guests James Cox Junior, Bunny & Brother Tyler

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Charter Guests James Cox, Bunny, and Tyler

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 charter guests James Cox Junior, his brother Tyler Cox , their “cougar” friend Amy “Bunny” Dunn and the guys’ dad James Cox Senior all had a blast on Parsifal III.

On their charter, the group had a great time despite the lack of wind for sailing. Tyler, a wine connoisseur, imbibed too much and passed out cold at the first dinner. Tyler took over the family tile business based in Florida. Meanwhile, James Jr. is a successful real estate broker based in Manhattan, New York.

Their long-time friend Amy Dunn posted on Instagram a lot on their trip. Amy, a stunning 51, had fun hitting on the male crew members.

James Sr. celebrated his 75th birthday while on the sailing yacht.

This group of guests gave the crew a tip total of $16,000 or $1,778 per person.

2nd Charter: Charter Guests Erica Rose & Charles Sanders

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Charter Guests Erica Rose and Husband Charles Sanders

Reality TV lover Erica Rose and her husband Charles Sanders made their mark in Below Deck charter guest history. They will not soon be forgotten as some of the worst charter guests to disgrace themselves on a yacht.

Erica Rose is an Instagram influencer and lawyer from Houston, Texas. She is an aspiring reality TV star who has been on The Bachelor , Bachelor Pad , Dr. Phil and Inside Edition . She has two daughters, one with Charles “Chuck” and one with her ex fiance.

Charles is also a lawyer, and shares a practice with Erica . He focuses on auto injury law. Charles gave a crying apology for his appalling behavior while on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

Erica’s mom Cindi Rose was also on the charter. She added to the madness of the charter by staining a white couch with brown bronzer and arriving late after getting kicked off a flight.

This Erica Rose’s infamous group of charter guests gave a pathetic $6,500 tip to the crew. This meant crew members only received only $722 each for the charter.

1st Charter: Primary Charter Guest McCordia Young

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Primary Charter Guest McCordia Young & Friends

Washington DC real estate investor McCordia Young and the other charter guests were a relatively tame group compared to Erica Rose’s family.

They kept Chef Marcos very busy in the galley due to their insatiable appetites. Things took a bad turn when McCordia got too drunk and was sexually harassing Gabriela Barragan . She brushed off his inappropriate advances like a pro.

McCordia’s friends on the charter with him included his ex lover and business partner Norman Slye-Hawkins . He also invited other real estate agents including Leisel Taylor, Arnita Greene, Aliya Johnson.

McCordia and the other charter guests gave a total tip of $17,600. Each crew member received $1,955 in total tip money from the first charter.

This article will be updated with the latest on new charter guests from this season.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap: Revenge Of The Roses

By Glenn Rowley

This season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been off to a hit-or-miss start. On one hand, the first charter of the season was relatively easy. Other than Gabriela Barragan having to rein in a drunkenly inappropriate charter guest, of course. On the other, the new crew members aren’t quite gelling yet, whether it’s Ashley Marti and Tom Pearson arguing over who’s more immature or the two stews getting off on a competitive foot. But little does the crew know they should’ve been counting their blessings during charter number one because things can get much harder at work. And they’re about to, thanks to some unforgettable returning charter guests…

The day after the first night out is, blessedly, a turnaround day. So the crew has a full twenty-four hours to clean up the mess they made on board after a night of drinking, partying and arguing. As the stale beer bottles get emptied, Captain Glenn Shephard calls Gary King , Daisy Kelliher and Marcos Spaziani together for a preference sheet meeting. And surprise! The co-primaries for charter number two are Erica Rose and Cindi Rose ! Daisy in particular, is filled with dread at the prospect of the return of the Roses, especially considering how unabashedly difficult the mother-daughter duo were last season. But hey, at least as a viewer you know it’ll be memorable! Just dear go, please no “tatas for Trump” this time, OK?

below deck sailing yacht recap season 3 episode 3 gabriela barragan ashley marti second stew third stew fued

There’s also lingering tension among the junior crew that needs to be dealt with before guests come on board. After getting advice from Gary , Tom decides to apologize to Ashley for their spat the night before. At least just for the sake of clearing the slate and keeping things copacetic and professional. Though deckhand Kelsie Goglia still thinks that the two need to, in her words, “bang it out” rather than simply hug it out — even if Ashley insists she would never date someone her own age.

Yet as one door of drama closes, another opens, this time over the hierarchy in the interior. Ashley ‘s made it no secret that she was rather unhappy about being made third stew. And if her attitude is any indication, she doesn’t intend to take any orders for Gabriela during the charter season. So when she opts to suck up to Daisy by helping plan the Roses’ party decor instead of cleaning up the bar like the second stew asked, it becomes a problem. Gabriela’s upset at being blown off, and calls Ashley out in the crew mess in front of nearly the entire crew. But rather than intervene, Daisy focuses on her own duties. The two stews can figure things out between them without the need for her to referee.

Gabriela quickly regrets the confrontation, but her attempt at apologizing doesn’t really go over that well either. Ashley tells her point blank that she basically sees the hierarchy between second and third stew to be completely arbitrary. And in a way, she does have a point. Both stews only have about a year of work in yachting under their belts. But while the air technically gets cleared, something tells me this battle of the stews is only going to get worse as the season progresses. And Daisy won’t be able to avoid stepping in for long.

below deck sailing yacht recap season 3 episode 3 erica rose cindi rose kicked off flight stolen omelette heathrow airport

The next morning, Captain Glenn greets Daisy with a deliciously scandalous piece of news. The guests’ arrival for the charter — which is scheduled for that afternoon – has been upset on account of Erica , her husband and her mother being ejected from their flight at Heathrow Airport. While details are a bit muddy on what exactly went down, it looks like Cindi  won’t be arriving until later in the day. Because she’s been  detained .  I swear, only the Roses…

Following a panicked scramble to properly clean the transom, the rest of the guests arrive sans the  Married to Medicine Houston  alum, with Erica in the lead. And before they’ve even made it down the dock, her husband, Chuck, is threatening under his breath that every time he’s inconvenienced, the crew’s losing part of their tip. So this is going to be fun! As the crew gets to work unpacking Erica alum’s mountain of luggage, the one-time Bachelor contestant regales Daisy with the story of her mom’s detainment. Apparently, it involves Cindi stealing Chuck’s omelette from first class because she didn’t like the yogurt being served in economy plus? I can only imagine the four police officers chasing Cindi around the plane with her eggs, but the real question is: why wasn’t she in first class too?

below deck sailing yacht recap season 3 episode 3 daisy kelliher

After anchoring in Cala Presili, Tom makes his second major mistake of the season by forgetting to remove the pins in the door before opening the swim platform. The deckhand’s flub not only scratches the paint on the boat, it also earns him a talking to from Colin Macrae about doing his job correctly. Meanwhile, Ashley is a captive audience for Chuck as she’s forced to unpack his and Erica’s bags as he drones on and on about stone crabs, alcohol and how rich he is. Suddenly I’m having flashbacks to when Cindi cornered Alli Dore last season to do nearly the exact same thing. They’re not technically blood related since Chuck is her son-in-law, but maybe the habit runs in the family?

While Gary heads off in the tender to finally pick up an unfashionably late  Cindi , Daisy serves as intermediary between the guests and Chef Marcos over the dinner menu. Chuck immediately turns his nose up at the idea of a watermelon gazpacho. He may not know what it is, but the word sounds disgusting, OK? So that idea’s out the window. Ten minutes later, Erica invades the galley with a friend to shoot down Marcos’ plan to make a broccoli mousse. Can’t they just have a plain, basic salad instead? Right about then, it dawns on the chef that he’s cooking for guests with the culinary sensibilities of a kindergarten class. I warned you this would be fun, didn’t I?

below deck sailing yacht recap season 3 episode 3 erica rose husband chuck breakfast tantrum chef marcos spaziani

Despite the downgraded menu, Marcos manages to pull off a delicious meal for the first dinner of the charter. Not that that stops Erica and company from complaining about the food. First, she sends her steak back because she wants it well done. She expressly told the chef she didn’t want any pink in her steak, but he managed to forget. Then, Chuck criticizes the steak after his first bite, but quickly retracts the statement because he just cut off a piece of fat. By the end of the meal, though, everyone seems satisfied, with even Erica’s finicky husband calling the dinner “one of the top five” he’s had in his entire life. Hint: you would do well to remember that statement.

Before going to bed, Daisy runs the next day’s itinerary past Erica , who settles on forgoing breakfast for a boozy brunch on the beach at 11 o’clock. However, her family members seem to have missed that memo. Because Chuck wakes up cranky and demanding food with Cindi meekly following suit. Their last-minute breakfast orders — an omelette for him, poached eggs for her — create more work for Chef Marcos , who has to pause his brunch prep. But he whips the food out in no time. No problem, right? Wrong.

First, Chuck gets angry that his omelette has tomatoes in it, and demands a second, tomato-free one from the galley. Like a petulant five-year-old. But it’s while he’s waiting for his replacement omelette that he really gets going, bashing Marcos ‘ food while Cindi chimes in to claim what the chef has presented since they arrived is no better than the local Chili’s. Oof, low blow, dude. Chuck gets so wound up that by the time the new omelette is delivered to the table, he pushes it away too, calling Marcos’ cooking “disgusting” and refusing to eat. And on second thought, he takes back what he said after dinner, too. He hated the steak. As he stomps around the boat whining that he’s had “better food at the ball park,” Daisy ‘s left to run interference before the crew loses their entire tip altogether.

TELL US – WERE YOU SURPRISED TO SEE ERIKA AND CINDI BACK AS CHARTER GUESTS? IS ASHLEY DISRESPECTING THE HIERARCHY OF THE STEWS? HAVE YOU EVER SEEN SOMEONE GET KICKED OFF A FLIGHT FOR STEALING AN OMELETTE?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Screen Rant

10 below deck charter guests who will never return to the franchise.

While the charter guests who appear on Below Deck have a great time while filming the show, many aren't invited back for a number of reasons.

  • Some charter guests on Below Deck have caused unnecessary drama and won't likely return due to bad behavior.
  • Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht faced backlash from Barrie, who called him two-faced.
  • Former guest Dr. Francis Martinis will not return to Below Deck after he was arrested for faking prescriptions.

The Below Deck franchise has featured many charter guests since 2013, many of whom will never return . The Bravo series focuses on expensive charters with wealthy guests who have attitude problems and over-the-top demands. That includes Charter guest Alexis Bellino, who boarded Captain Lee Rosbach’s yacht with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. She was disrespectful and made everyone uncomfortable with her and Andy's PDA. She even insulted crew members after featuring on the show.

Like Alexis, Delores Flora from Below Deck season 8 was a terrible guest. Not only did she misbehave, but she also got drunk and s wam while intoxicated, which is not only not allowed, it frightened the crew members. Delores got kicked out of the yacht the next day. These guests created unnecessary drama on the boat and will likely never return like a few others from the franchise.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

8 barrie & tony, below deck sailing yacht.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt Barlow had a decent time in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons 2 and 3. Despite that, they left with a bitter taste because of Captain Glenn Shephard. In 2021, Barrie participated in a podcast, Pita Party: The Podcast , where he claimed that Captain Glenn bothered him while using his phone .

Barrie said, “he (Captain Glenn) was a two-face b*stard,” adding that he just didn’t like his presence.

7 Frank Fay

Below deck mediterranean.

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 7, Charter guest Frank Fay had a thing for second stew Kyle Viljoen. He pursued him on the yacht, but unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last. Frank will likely never return to the series as long as Captain Sandy Yawn allows Kyle to work for her. Even if Kyle quits, Frank wouldn’t want to be in an environment that would remind him of his failed relationship.

6 Erica Rose

Erica Rose appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht two seasons in a row. Erica was highly offensive toward the crew member, as well as her husband, Charles Sanders, and to make things worse, she left the crew with a measly tip , leading fans to slam her on social media. Ultimately, Erica had to apologize for her bad attitude but never returned to give the crew the tip they deserved. Nobody on Below Deck Sailing Yacht would ever want to return.

5 Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was not dramatic at all; however, he’ll probably never return to the series. Justin wouldn’t return because he wasn't the primary guest. He joined his friend, Kim, who wanted to enjoy a luxury yacht trip. It was more of a one-and-done deal. Secondly, nobody recognized him at all. Viewers later realized who he was and how he was the runner-up on American Idol season 1. Justin is a theatre artist and has made a name for himself. However, it was embarrassing that so many fans had no clue who he was .

Below Deck: 8 Charter Guests With The Worst Attitudes

4 johnny damon.

Johnny Damon’s time at Below Deck Med was full of explosive moments. Once, he sent the food back, citing that the experience wasn’t “five stars.” On another occasion, his wife, Michelle, created drama by yelling at the owner of another yacht . Overall, the experience was simply terrible on both sides. Crew members didn’t love Johnny and his wife, and the couple didn’t respect the crew members. It is unlikely that Captain Sandy would want to host the couple again as long as she’s in charge.

3 Krystal Murphy

Former charter guest Krystal Murphy boarded Captain Lee’s yacht with her friends. She immediately began showing red flags, drinking, and just being a menace. Krystal fought with her friend, Chelsea, creating unnecessary drama. She even passed out and punched a friend in the face. Former Chief Stew Kate Chastain disliked serving Krystal and called her a “spoiled brat;” she wanted to throw her off the yacht. Nowadays, Krystal has seemingly become a more private person. It doesn’t seem like Krystal would want to be on TV again.

2 Steve Bradley

Below Deck fans should remember Steve Bradley as he made many appearances on the show. In Below Deck season 3, he wanted a foam party and demanded the crew to figure it out and follow his commands, acting like a king. In Below Deck season 6, Steve made more outrageous requests. Apart from being a wild guest, Steve was entitled and acted inappropriately at times . No Below Deck captain would want to host him again as he didn't come off as very likable.

1 Dr. Francis Martinis

Below deck mediterranean & below deck sailing yacht.

Dr. Francis Martinis from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a zero chance of returning. While the former charter guest didn’t have too many issues on the show, his personal life issues will stop him from appearing on Bravo again. According to TMZ , Dr. Francis and his wife, Jessica, were arrested for filling out fake prescriptions in December 2023 . The couple used the names of Below Deck stars and got caught red-handed. The Below Deck franchise would never want to welcome felons, especially when their mugshots are all over the internet.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

Below Deck Season 11 Episode 6 Recap: Love Me Tender

W elcome back to Below Deck, Episode 6 of Season 11. In the episode “Love Me Tender” this week, Captain Kerry teaches Cat an eFoil lesson to cheer her up while the annoying charter guests try to finish the entire amount of wine on the boat.

Jared receives criticism for his poor calling distance-calling during docking and is still upset over not being able to reach his daughter. Eventually, late at night, drunk Jared screams at Kyle so loudly that the captain is awakened, and he’s not happy about it. The best parts of Below Deck Season 11, Episode 6 are listed below.

About Eileen, Jared reports to Captain Kerry. She “fell off the jacuzzi last night,” according to him. She remained upright in the jacuzzi. Her head collided with the jacuzzi’s side as she slipped. very likely caused a concussion to herself. It was startling.

She’s a liability, according to Jared. “We must monitor her closely,” the captain remarks. “It’s okay if they want to drink, but they won’t be using the skis. When something goes wrong, we’re the ones that get blamed. Cap later approaches Barbie for further information regarding Eileen’s accident.

“I wasn’t there when it really happened.” Although she didn’t appear hurt, she was really shaky. When they have time, Captain Kerry offers to teach Cat and Barbie how to operate the eFoil. “Cat doesn’t belong,” he says in the interview. She is very perceptive, and there seems to be something wrong with her.

When I’m having a difficult day… Using the eFoil, I leap. I meditate like that. “I wish to provide her with a chance to genuinely leave the boat and replenish her energy,” he continues. “Are you comfortable with that?” While the visitors are away, Cap asks Barbie if she can manage without Cat.

“Definitely,” responds Barbie. “That salt water is really needed by her.” He says, “We’ll get you in next.” “I am unable to.” It will sabotage my makeup and hair. “That will be so refreshing for you,” Barbie says to Cat. I hope it improves her energy and attitude.

Barbie says, “Salt water is a cat’s therapy.” It’s just one of those times when I have to step up and take charge. Cap is prepared to take Cat out once he drops the visitors off at the beach. She smiles the widest. It’s the medication she has been in need of.

Cat is naturally gifted. At home, she has a longboard. In fact, she succeeds in getting the board up on the foil, but she tripped and fell facefirst into the ocean. Indeed! Cap screams. “Well done!” Barbie is unhappy because she is doing “all the work” on the boat.

‘Below Deck’ Sails Into a New Era

With a different captain at the helm and new production elements, the reality show about charter yachts is switching up its style.

A man in a crew member suit stands behind a bar and tends to flowers in a vase.

By Shivani Gonzalez

Starting a new season of “ Below Deck ” can be similar to returning to summer camp as a kid — you know it’s going to be fun and that you’ll be in the same environment, but some of the people will be different and you’re not quite sure what the vibes will be.

This time around, in particular, feels that way because for the first time in the show’s 11-season run, Captain Lee Rosbach is no longer at the helm. It’s a pivotal moment for a franchise that has become one of the most popular entities in the sprawling universe of reality TV since premiering on Bravo in 2013 . The show’s appeal was built on endless romances between various crew members (“boatmances,” as they came to be known), horrible charter guests and some sort of passive-aggressive fight about how many shackles of the anchor chain should be in the water. And there was always Rosbach presiding over the drama as he trudged around the boat, reeling off one liners like “I’m madder than a pissed-on chicken” and “we screwed the pooch so many times we should have a litter of puppies running around.”

At the center of the show now is Kerry Titheradge (the stern yet goofy captain of “Below Deck Adventure” fame), who is managing the Motor Yacht Saint David with the cheeky chief stew Fraser Olender by his side.

With that change in captain, the energy on the boat — both onscreen and off — is different, according to Olender.

“I feel like Kerry this season, as opposed to Lee, has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him,” Olender said in an interview. “With Kerry, he taught me a lot and sort of forced to me confront issues directly with my team, work them out, as opposed to making executive decisions too soon.”

This shift in management style changes the central conflict — whereas the drama once focused on the captain swiftly kicking out any unpleasant crew member (as we might have seen with Rosbach), the drama now focuses on the whole crew trying to get along (since Titheradge gives people those second chances).

Additionally, Olender noted that the captain’s relationship with the crew can also affect the drama on board.

“Captains absolutely do get involved, whether they know it or not,” Olender said, adding that for the crew, everything is about “trying to impress your captain.”

This phenomenon plays out early in the new season when the lead deckhand, Ben Willoughby, called out a fellow crew member over the radios about not wearing a life vest — something he easily could have done in private. The drama that followed became an interpersonal conflict between the two of them, both with the ultimate goal of impressing Titheradge. (Of course, the two deckhands had kissed on the previous crew night out, which is more in line with the “Below Deck” drama viewers are used to.)

For “Below Deck” showrunners, the changeovers in the cast allowed them to rethink what the show would look like.

From the season premiere, it was immediately apparent that Rosbach’s absence wasn’t the only change this season: The filming is sleeker, the daily, multicourse meals prepared by the chef are given their own glamour shots and the cameras sometimes cut to the perspectives of yachties running around on deck and through the galley.

“Our showrunner, Lauren Simms, is an avid consumer of all different kinds of media,” Noah Samton, a senior vice president of unscripted current production for NBCUniversal, said in an interview. “She pitches us different ideas on how to stylistically evoke different feelings and change the mood a little bit of ‘Below Deck’ without removing what really works.”

Moving through the rest of the season, and potentially through seasons to come, Olender is aiming to bring a cutthroat management style while also bringing affection for his stews, all with his signature British humor.

On Bravo’s side, there are changes in the works for the other “Below Deck” spinoffs — including “Sailing Yacht,” “Mediterranean” and “Down Under” — which collectively, have 26 seasons. Specifically, Samton said that “Down Under” is currently filming and that even though fans should be ready to see new things, the show will stay true to its original concept.

“These are real yachties doing a real job so you have to stay within those confines because the audience isn’t going to want anything that is too produced or fake,” Samton said. “So we have to find ways to reinvent while staying true to the original concept of the show.”

And as Olender said: “I’m sure that every year if I were to work with this franchise again, that I’ll be thrown a collection of total chaotic and disastrous stews — that’s what makes it watchable.”

Below Deck Loses 2 Crewmembers After a Firing and a Dramatic Season 11 Departure

Below deck 's capt. kerry titheradge fired the first season 11 yachtie during the bravo series' march 18 episode, but that wasn't the only shocking departure. find out who else left the yacht..

The  St. David  is down not one, but two crewmembers.

During Below Deck 's March 18 episode, Captain Kerry Titheradge  fired the first season 11 yachtie when he let Bosun Jared Woodin go for unprofessional behavior, the last straw being an inebriated Jared barging into Stew Barbie Pascual 's cabin the night prior and yelling at Deckhand Kyle Stillie for leaving a mess of loose tobacco on the deck after a night of partying.

"This is the second time you've gone on the piss and you've had bad behavior," Kerry told his subordinate. "You're in a leadership role. You can't be acting like that. You gotta be above the fray. The way that you're treating these guy is not acceptable."

But it wasn't just the alcohol that was the problem, as Kerry noted Jared's mental state wasn't where it needed to be. "You've got s--t going on, man," he shared. "You're your own worst enemy right now. You need to depart the vessel."

However, Jared agreed his head wasn't in the right place and accepted his termination graciously.

"This ain't the right place for me at the right time," Jared replied, to which Kerry responded, "I don't blame you for that. Take this time and work on yourself. Me keeping you here is a disservice to you."

Before departing the super-yacht, Jared reflected in a confessional, "I thought I was in a good headspace coming into this. I'm really not. And as much as I'd like to be I'm just lying to myself."

But Jared wasn't the only teammate to set sail during the latest episode. Stew Cat Baugh willingly left the ship after admittedly struggling with the job all season long.

"I really wanna push through for you guys," Cat, in tears, told Chief Stew Fraser Olender after receiving a very distressing call from a friend back home in America. "I'm just losing my mind right now."

And Fraser totally understood his crewmember's needs.

"If you're in a very unhappy place," he told her, "I'd rather you put your health and your mental health before that and we get you the help you need as soon as we can."

In a confessional, Fraser elaborated, "I don't know what is going on, but you can look into someone's eyes sometimes and see that there is no more that they can give. They are going through enough to be incapable and I need to do what's right for her. "

See how the crew copes with the unexpected departures when Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. And keep reading to look back at the most shocking Below Deck firings ever.

If there's one thing to learn from Camille Lamb 's Below Deck firing, it's to not slack off on the job. That's exactly why the season 10 stew was let go by substitute Captain Sandy Yawn , as Chief Stew Fraser Olender continued to criticize Camille's behavior on board.

From being caught drinking while preparing for a new charter to partying at late hours and more, Fraser informed Captain Sandy that he had reached his "last straw."

"She's the common denominator in all of this," said Captain Sandy. "Great girl, great personality, but at the same time, we have to do what's best for the boat."

Below Deck Adventure 's Kyle Dickard was let go just three episodes into the reality franchise's latest series—which premiered in November 2022. After picking fights with his fellow deckhand Nathan Morley —as well as kissing crew mates in front of guests—Kyle was offered by Captain Kerry Titheradge the opportunity to resign so that his firing would not end up on his personal record.

Kyle took the Captain up on his offer and left the boat after just one charter.

Captain Sandy let bosun Raygan Tyler go during season seven of Below Deck Mediterranean ,  not only for causing the boat to  take a small hit while docking, but also for not stepping up to the plate as a leader.

But Captain Sandy didn't want her firing to discourage the bosun, as she told Raygan, "If I had the time and I wasn't running a boat this size, I would train you. I would teach you."

In addition to onboard romances and failing to follow directions , one of the biggest reasons behind stew Elizabeth Frankini 's Below Deck firing was her infamous laundry room accident , during which made a toxic mess when combining bleach and laundry soap.

"Unfortunately, I didn't know that was so toxic and I feel so bad about it," she told E! News of the incident in December 2020 . "You know, I do feel really bad, especially 'cause Francesca [ Rubi ] did say, 'Take it outside.'"

The bosun and stew were both fired by Captain Jason Chambers for inappropriate behavior after a night of partying with their fellow yachties.

Luke Jones was let go after getting into Stew Margot Sisson 's bed naked while she was drunk and unconscious. Laura Bileskaine also made unwanted advances on Deckhand Adam Kodra despite him telling her he was not interested in hooking up.

Jason made it known that consent was a must, and sent both crewmembers packing.

Tensions between stew Lexi Wilson and Chef Mathew Shea came to a head during an explosive dinner fight on season six of Below Deck Mediterranean , during which Lexi told Matt that his parents "should've aborted you." That was the last straw for Captain Sandy, who fired her not long after the incident.

Deckhand Tom Pearson said "bon voyage" to Below Deck Sailing Yacht after getting let go by Captain Glenn Shephard . Tom hit his last strike with the Captain after failing to report that the boat's anchor was dragging during heavy winds one night, causing a potential safety risk for everyone on board.

"It had to be done. It was such a grievous thing that he dropped the ball there, he had to go, and we had to just be man down and live with it, you know?" Captain Glenn said of the decision  on Watch What Happens Live. "So, obviously, you don't want to do that, but yeah, it had to happen."

Some people are picky eaters, but Below Deck Down Under' s Ryan McKeown was quite the picky chef, as he would judge guests'  food requests  and fail to take  criticism from Captain Jason Chambers , as well.

Perhaps Ryan's Below Deck exit is one of the franchise's most memorable, as he mooned Jason and viewers on his way off the boat.

Below Deck Down Under stew Magda Ziomek 's firing was another case of slacking on the job. After constantly being on her phone texting or video chatting with her boyfriend, Chief Stew Aesha Scott decided to replace Magda before the end of the charter season.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Peter Hunziker was fired from the series in June 2020 after he shared an offensive post on social media.

"Peter Hunziker of Below Deck Mediterranean has been terminated for his racist post," Bravo wrote in a statement at the time. "Bravo and 51 Minds are editing the show to minimize his appearance for subsequent episodes."

Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier was let go by Captain Sandy on Below Deck Mediterranean after boson Malia White discovered her co-star possessed undeclared Valium and a vape pen, the former of which Hannah claimed was for her anxiety.

"If I could do it all over again, I would've just declared them as soon as I came on board," Hannah stated in an August 2020 interview with E! News. "It was definitely not something that was intentional. I wasn't trying to hide anything.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Delaney Evans left just as quickly as she arrived. After initially being brought on during season six to help out Chief Stew Katie Flood , Katie determined that Delaney was doing more harm than good, choosing to let her go after just one charter.

"I think she was overwhelmed with the situation, and I think that, you know, in her mind, the best solution to the situation was just to go back to what they had before," Delaney told Bravo Insider of Katie's decision. "I think she was just overwhelmed with everything that was going on and all the feedback she was getting."

Deckhand Shane Coopersmith was a bit in over his head on season eight of Below Deck , as he was let go for failing to know basic skills, reporting late for duty and taking naps on the job.

Chaos in the kitchen led to Captain Lee Rosbach letting Chef Leon Walker go on season three of Below Deck . After an oven fire broke out , Lee placed the blame on Chief Stew Kate Chastain but was ultimately the one sent home.

Like several of the franchise's stars, Below Deck 's Chris Brown  was fired  during season five for failing to fully perform his duties. After being let go by Captain Lee, Chris shared some parting words as he left the boat, stating , "Who gives a s--t?"

Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was fired by Captain Sandy on season four of Below Deck Mediterranean after failing to use her cooking skills to produce top-quality food for guests—including some not-so-nice nachos .

"Of course it makes me feel awful," Mila said of her departure . "People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit. But it makes me feel like I want to work even harder."

Sometimes people just don't work well together. That's exactly why Captain Lee fired Chandler Brooks during season six of Below Deck , telling the boson, "I don't think it's a good fit."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht  Recap: Grab the Grape Juice

Below deck sailing yacht.

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 3 guests

Before I dive into “Paging Dr. Nipples,” I want to backtrack and discuss last week’s episode for a moment.

I was expecting (and hoping) to get a confessional from Gary that would shed a bit more light on his encounter with Ashley. I’m not sure how to take their hookups, given that they only seem to happen when both parties are severely sloshed. In some cases, one person is even full-blown blackout — like Gary was last week — which is highly sus. (Side note: Will Bravo ever address the frat house level of binge drinking on this show?) I want Gary to reveal how he feels about these drunken hookups and whether he feels taken advantage of or uncomfortable. When Colin asks Gary about how things are going with Ashley, Gary replies that he’s not going to go near her as she’s too clingy. Colin agrees and calls her desperate. Gary then wonders aloud about the new stew, Scarlett, and how much drama the two of them will cause if they like each other.

Meanwhile, Ashley and Gary barely share scenes together this week. One of note? Let’s state the record for the court.

INT. GALLEY — DAY Gary: So guys, what do you think of the deckhand? Let’s talk about him while he’s not here.

Ashley: What do you think about him?

Gary: I like him.

Ashley: Looks like you lucked out!

Gary: Yeah, maybe I can finally get laid!

Ashley: I think you already did; you just don’t remember.

Gary breaks the fourth wall and gasps to the camera.

Gary: With who?

Gary and Marcos laugh.

Now onto the guests from hell. Who raised these people? Dr. Nipples (née Nichols) & Co. are awful, scum of the earth people. As per her  Instagram , she’s a celebrity dermatologist. I tried writing out all of their offensive antics in a paragraph, but it was such a long block of text that I decided the only way to present this information was in a list format.

  • The group of six has (at least) nine pieces of luggage and wants every item of clothing to be steamed. This takes Ashley 210 minutes.
  • One of the guests, a man named Dino, barks at Daisy within minutes of arrival: “I want a bacon Bloody Mary with grilled shrimp. How’s that for an order? A double bacon Bloody Mary with two grilled shrimp. No olives.” Not a please in sight! When his drink arrives, he’s not happy: “A little weak on the bacon. Weak! Weak bacon! You need two stalks of bacon in there.” He’s also not happy with the shrimp. They’re not jumbo enough!
  • Dr. Nipples’ husband, Chris, demands a drink called a Transfusion. He will continue to demand this drink throughout the duration of the charter. If you, like me, have never heard of this drink, this is how you make it, according to Chris: “Equal parts vodka, ginger ale, and grape — not grapefruit — grape juice.” Unfortunately for Chris, grape juice doesn’t exist in Europe. Fortunately for Chris, he doesn’t care and demands Daisy JUICE GRAPES … He wants this woman to literally make juice from grapes? I cannot get over how deranged this request is.
  • Darling Chris gives his fellow travelers a tip when it comes to cocktails: “As soon as it gets a little warm, hand it back and get a fucking new one. Don’t force down lukewarm drinks, none of that shit.”
  • After dinner, the guests clomp upstairs to “get jiggy with it” and shout at the crew to bring music, blankets, and a bevy of complicated drink orders. There is clearly a technical difficulty with the speaker system — which should probably get cleared up in the year of our Lord 2022 — but Chris and Dr. Nipples’ responses? Insane! “If you don’t fucking make this shit work right now,” Chris laments before his wife chimes in with a tirade of her own: “Alright, this service sucks. Let’s go. I’m done… I paid fucking sixty thousand dollars…” (Subpoint A: Dino flicks a $100 bill in Daisy’s face for “the aggravation for tonight.”) (Subpoint B: Is $60,000 for a three-day charter for six guests cheap or expensive? Do guests on the show get a break because they have to be on a reality show? I would love to know the discount!)
  • The last but certainly not least offense: This group pronounces ‘espresso’ as ‘expresso.’

I am not including Dr. Nipples’ nip slip in the list of offenses because I am pro-nip slip, which is fun and flirty, and I am also pro-Marcos’ reaction to said nip slip, which was delightful. The guests clearly think so, too, because they start plotting how to lure him into the private chef sector.

Looking at this list of behavior … are you not embarrassed? Marcos later drags them with such a singular scathing line: “This type of guest … they just want to feel rich.” He just called them poor, tacky wannabes! And babe, he’s 100 percent right.

Special mention goes to Daisy’s confessionals in this episode. She is an amazing actress. Give this girl an Oscar. I would have lost my shit Teresa Giudice style had I been catering to these guests, but our girl Daisy keeps calm and carries on while dealing with them.

I’ve been so distracted by these rude asses that I almost forgot to talk about sweet new deckhand Barnaby! First thing’s first, let’s clarify the pronunciation of his name. Dictionary.com breaks it down as [bahr-n uh -bee]. Was that so hard, crew? He has “Jesus hair,” according to Kelsie (who has already ruled him out on the romance front), grew up competitively sailing in Singapore, teaches water sports to the rich and famous (Barack Obama, Richard Branson), and will cater to Daisy’s every need. “I reckon that if I get on the wrong side of her, she’s going to have me for breakfast,” he says in a confessional after agreeing to squeeze limes for his chief stew. “I know what I’m doing: Look after Daisy, and then she’ll look after me.”

Barnaby is a total pro. He comforts Kelsie after she drops a pin in the water by saying, “I mean it’s stupid to make water toys have components that sink,” which,  true , and helps her laugh it off. I can tell Barnaby would never make such a JV mistake, but he pretends he will next and calls it a rite of passage. He has incredible team player energy, and I bet he’s an incredible roommate for Captain Glenn. I am also obsessed with the fact that he believes he can get rich by osmosis. I, too, believe this.

Now that we’ve met slow and steady Barnaby, I’m desperate to meet Scarlett, the new stew, already. She’s going to make Ashley lose her mind, and readers, I will love every second of it.

One Crew Member Was Fired and Another Left During an Explosive Below Deck: "Not Acceptable”

How to Watch

The Aussie captain, who joined the series for Season 11 after appearing on Below Deck Adventure , let (SPOILER) Jared Woodin go following a series of mistakes as well a conflict with deckhand Kyle Stillie .

Who did Jared Woodin get fired on Below Deck Season 11, Episode 7?

As soon as Season 11 began, Captain Kerry recognized that Jared wasn't cut out to be the Bosun of a mega yacht. After giving Jared a few charters to see if he could improve during dockings and with his communication, Kerry decided to fire the Connecticut native.

Captain Kerry told Jared, "The way that you're treating these guys is not acceptable, and we've had discussions, and I've tried to guide you, I've shown you compassion. But, you've got sh-t going on, mate. You're your own worst enemy right now. You need to depart the vessel."

How Jared Woodin Reacted to Getting Fired

Once Kerry fired Jared, the dad of one seemed surprised. "I'm getting the boot?" Jared asked, and Kerry confirmed that was the case. "Really?"

Kerry noted that Jared did "have a lot going for [him]," but that  St. David  wasn't the right place for him.

"Take this time and work on yourself," Kerry said. "Me keeping you here is a disservice to you."

Jared ultimately agreed with that assessment in an interview on the episode.

"I thought I was in a good headspace coming in to this, [but] I'm really not. And, as much as I would like to be, I'm just lying to myself," he said. "Although the situation sucks, I actually really do feel a little bit lighter."

Why did cat baugh leave on below deck season 11.

Jared wasn't the only crew member who left St. David on Season 11, Episode 7. After expressing how it was hard for her to find her place amongst the rest of the yachties, stew Cat Baugh received a troubling phone call from a friend named Megan when she was in her cabin.

"I'm sorry, I know you can't talk, but she's not answering, and no one else is awake right now," Cat's friend said on the phone. "Do you have, like, a couple seconds? I'm freaking the f-ck out."

Cat didn't reveal what exactly the phone call was about, but she recognized that she needed to get back home.

"So, I got a call from my friend, Megan," Cat explained in an interview on the episode. "This is a situation I really can't talk about, but my friends are my family, so it feels really sh-tty not being able to be there for her."

Cat Baugh Hugs Captain Kerry as she leaves the yacht

After the charter guests arrived, Cat talked to her boss, Fraser Olender , about what she was feeling. He encouraged her to put her mental health first. Kerry did the same.

"My number one job is to take care of my crew and their health," Kerry said. "I'm well aware of mental health. She's got to go, now."

11 Things You Didn’t Know About Below Deck's Captain Kerry Titheradge

"I wish I could have stayed. But, the thing is, there's no way I could have," Cat concluded. "This is too much. I need to be with the people [who] need me, and also, on this boat, I'm at a breaking point. I need to protect my mental health. It's like my support system is at home, not here."
