We were gone almost 12 hours and spent at least 9 on the bus . There really is nothing worth seeing on the entire island and should be removed from any tour. The boat was comfortable and they provided coffee throughout the day. The views were beautiful with plenty of opportunities to take pictures. The opportunity to get off of the boat and hike to the Glacier made for a picturesque walk and a nice diversion off the boat. We made another stop for lunch (included). The food was hot, but overall mediocre. The only real disappointment was smoking was allowed on the boat. It was limited to outside on the deck, but the the smokers congregated near the doorway so you walked through a cloud of smoke to enter or leave the cabin sitting area. We did this often to take pictures and then back in to warm up...it was cold and windy as advertised (bring a hat and gloves). The whiskey on the (glacial) rocks was a pleasant afternoon treat. This is a very long tour with hours of drive. The Island itself is quite interesting, although the weather was poor. The tour's highlight was taking a boat on the lake in Castro and having lunch on a beautiful farm on top of a hill. Problems: the tour guide gave almost zero explanations after we got off from the bus. The three stops were in three town centres, without guidance at all. We were dropped off in front of churches and then 30 minutes you needed to get on the bus... I would appreciate some more explanations and guides inside the church or even wandering around the city. First they were a no-show when I had a valid ticket and confirmation. After a big runaround, they finally re-booked me 2 days later. The pick-up was supposed to be between 1PM and 1:30PM. The driver showed up at 1:48PM. There was no guide, no info, nothing. It was strictly a driver who didn't speak a word of English, and unfortunately neither did anyone else in the coach. he dumped us in a parking lot and left. I had no clue where to go, what to do or when he would be back to pick us up. He told the other people something in Spanish so I just followed them down the hill to a security guard who also didn't speak English. I had to carry my things with me everywhere and guard them because I wasn't told you need to bring your own lock for a locker. It was a stressful experience and when I sent the company a message on WhatsApp they ignored it. DO NOT BOOK THIS - you will be very sorry you did. Admire the beautiful scenery that lines the Negro River Valley on our tour from Peulla. You'll hop into an off-road truck and a catamaran during this unforgettable experience.

At your chosen time, we'll set off from Peulla aboard an off-road vehicle that'll take us across the beautiful Chilean region of Los Lagos  effortlessly .

We'll leave All Saints Lake , which flows along the shores of Peulla, behind as we head northbound through a beautiful Andean landscape . We'll admire the beautiful Encanto Lagoon as well as the peaks of large volcanoes such as Mount Tronador , which marks the border between Chile and Argentina .

Our 9-mile (14-kilometre) route in the off-road truck will take us to the confluence of the Peulla and Negro Rivers . When we get to this point, we'll board a catamaran for the next part of our tour.

During our boat trip on the Negro River, we'll travel for just under 1 mile (1 kilometre) while gazing out at the valleys of the Andes Mountains and lush forests . We'll also have some typical biscuits accompanied by mineral water or juice during our catamaran trip.

After our catamaran trip on the Negro River, we'll hop back into our off-road truck to return to the pickup point in Peulla.

ITINERARY: 

Pick up from your hotel at 7:45 a.m. and drive to location to join the motor coach for your semi-private excursion to Peulla. From there you can see the majesty of the Osorno Volcano, the Petrohué River and Lake Todos los Santos. Transfer to the spacious cabin of the waiting catamaran. Sail the beautiful emerald-colored waters of this lake and enjoy the shore bordered by native forests, mountains, waterfalls, hills and volcanoes like Puntiagudo, Calbuco and Tronador. Arrive at Peulla, a little mountain village situated on the eastern shore of Lake Todos los Santos. Peulla is a small ecological town with 120 inhabitants that is part of the famous Cruce Andino tourist circuit. Take time to walk around, have lunch (on your own) or take an optional adventure excursion, like canopy tour, horseback ride, fishing, jet boat, or a 4×4 safari tour—all are offered in this natural paradise. • Villa Peulla, the secluded place in southern Chile that few can reach

Located in the Los Lagos Region, the small town of Villa Peulla has become a thriving tourist destination due to its natural beauty.

Recommendations for fully enjoying Villa Peulla

To reach Villa Peulla from Santiago by air, you must fly to Puerto Montt, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and then travel by land to Puerto Varas, which takes 25 minutes. If the journey from the capital is by land, it would take approximately 12 hours to reach Puerto Varas.

From Puerto Varas, you will travel 60 km with views of Lake Llanquihue, the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, and, after 40 minutes passing through the town of Ensenada, you will enter Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. After witnessing the astonishing Petrohué Falls, you will arrive at the port where you must board the catamaran.

Upon arrival in Villa Peulla, we recommend booking a tour if you haven't done so in advance or online before your trip. Here are some recommendations:
