Working closely with Vripack from the Netherlands, Burger used an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary design elements to create varying contrasts that can be found in the color schemes that play light against dark, the lush textures against smooth polished surfaces, and patterned materials against plain.
A feeling of luxury continues into the owner’s stateroom where lush fabrics cover the bed and are inset into the wall and ceiling panels above. Upon entering the bath areas, one is confronted with an oval tub with a curved wall surrounding it that is covered in an overlay of iridescent Capiz shells, which pick up the color of the veins in the marble.
The sky lounge has a less formal atmosphere but maintains continuity with the main salon and dining through the use of similar warm neutral colors to create an expansive area for entertaining large groups of guests. The sky lounge walls are accented with silk wall covering and the cabinet fronts have inserts of woven leather that blend into the Mahogany joiner work.
The luxurious atmosphere continues into each of the four king-size guest rooms with built-in sofas, custom made carpets and individualized color schemes. The crew area, located forward, and has direct access to the guest accommodations for discrete and efficient servicing of the area.
Other amenities include a stainless steel galley with custom refrigeration, an elevator that services all four levels and extensive exterior entertainment spaces for lounging and dining.
Mechanically, INGOT is a masterpiece of Burger’s detailed engineering and attention to detail. Each system is fully accessible for maintenance while providing the owner with the exceptional reliability. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3508B Series II main engines, each developing 1000 BHP, INGOT is full ocean going, long range yacht. Fully classified to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping and in compliance with the Maritime Coastal Agency LY2 code, INGOT can be seen in ports around the globe.
Luxurious and Environmentally Friendly
Immediately upon boarding INGOT, one is aware of the exceptional atmosphere of quality and attention to detail that surrounds them. The main salon and dining areas each boast illuminated white onyx ceiling panels framed in complex, elaborately detailed Mahogany woodwork which is accented with maple burl that can be found throughout the yacht.

Burger Yacht Sales lists Ingot for sale
More news just in from John Todd at Burger Yacht sales as he tells me that Burger’s 32m Ingot , built in 1998, is now listed for sale. Owned by the Chairman of Burger Boat Company, she’s not to be confused with the new 46.6m Ingot launched in 2008 for the same owner and now nominated as a finalist in Boat International’s World Superyacht Awards 2009. The original Ingot is an all-aluminium yacht sleeping six guests and is available for viewing in Fort Lauderdale, asking $7.95 million. She’s also offered with a limited one year warranty.

The beautiful 47m Burger motor yacht INGOT was captured by ‘ ZipZapPower ’ in the video below, while leaving the lovely Fort Lauderdale yacht charter destination, following her participation in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show ( FLIBS ), which took place earlier this month. Custom built in 2008 to a design by the yard’s in-house design team and Vripack , superyacht INGOT represents the perfect combination of traditional and contemporary design elements.
Burger luxury yacht INGOT provides comfortable accommodation in 5 lavishly appointed staterooms. There is a magnificent owner’s stateroom, as well as four king-size guest cabins with built-in sofas, custom made carpets and individualized color schemes. Moreover, the vessel boasts a stainless steel galley with custom refrigeration, an elevator that services all four levels and vast exterior entertainment spaces for lounging and dining.
