The Maiora History

Maiora Yachts was founded in 1980 by Francesco Guidetti and his wife Mirna Santucci. The production of first fiberglass hulls started already in the 1970s on the account of other shipyards but it is in 1985, after years of collaboration, that FIPA GROUP acquired the Maiora brand thereby instigating the drive towards the level of quality and excellence for which Maiora yachts are renowned today. In the 1990’s, with the purchase of the historic INTERMARE shipyard, FIPA GROUP gained ample docking space in the port of Viareggio which allowed it to extend its range of customer services to include complete after-sales service, dry-docking and refitting works, as well as carpentry and metal works. AB YACHTS, the leader in the production of fast open yachts with waterjet propulsion, became part of FIPA GROUP in 2001 thereby filling out the range of offered products with its decidedly sporting lineup. Moreover, during this period FIPA GROUP invested in its Massa premises creating 26,000 square meters of covered and 80,000 square meters of open space to be able to meet the demands of an ever increasing production, both in terms of unit numbers and their size. In 2005 the entry of CBI NAVI shipyard into the Group was concluded and this finally rounded off the range of products on offer to include even metal and alloy construction. Finally, the latest development occurred in 2006 with the opening of new production facilities in Marina di Levante in Viareggio which also guarantee FIPA GROUP an even more direct access to the open sea. Designed to be one of a kind and configured to suit the desires of each owner, Maiora 35 Exuma also meets the expectations of those who love life at sea and in the open air, by combining performance with surprising spaces.

Every vessel produced by Maiora is unique. Each yacht is one of a kind because every owner is one of a kind. Maiora offers customisation of every single detail and limitless configuration.

The flybridge is home to a climate-controlled sky-lounge that can be transformed into an open area thanks to an "infinity" full opening, sliding door, lowerable windows, and a retractable moonroof.

Maiora offers the possibility to choose the blend of interior and exterior spaces. As well as a long or short stern area connected to the sea by a wide infinity staircase or a dedicated beach area. The layout of each Maiora vessel can also be configured to suit individual needs.

It is possible to choose between a fully equipped beach area at sea level or a stern enclosed by a wide infinity staircase, which gives access to a garage for custom management of toys when opened.

Motorisation

Truly thrilling sportiness in terms of propulsion. The Exuma line’s waterjets offer unique performance including a maximum speed of 32/35 knots (choice of two engines: 3x2000hp or 3x2600hp), a low draft (1.38 m) which allows shallow anchoring near the beach, and extreme manoeuvrability.

A three-waterjet propulsion system which reaches 35 knots in total comfort and without any vibration. Extreme manoeuvrability and a draft of approximately 1.38m for exploring the magnificent beaches and waters of Cat Island, Abacos, Paradise Island and, Exumas of course! Continuity of spaces and a fluid interplay between interiors and exteriors, thanks to the natural light that floods each area. Something unique for the market.
