Ultimate guide to cannes yachting festival 2024.
Insider Tips from a 4-time visitor: Must-See Boats, and How to Make the Most of Your Visit
Cannes—a name that instantly evokes images of glamour, luxury, and the stunning French Riviera. But beyond its famous film festival, Cannes is also home to one of the most anticipated events in the boating world: Cannes Yachting Festival, Europe's largest in-water boat show. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or just dipping your toes into the world of catamarans, the 2024 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival promises an experience like no other. But with so much to see and do, how do you make the most of it? We've been to the show several times, so we’ve got you covered. Let’s dive into how to navigate this exciting event and make your catamaran shopping journey a breeze.
Here's your Ultimate Guide to the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024
The Cannes Yachting Festival, held from September 10th to 15th, 2024, is the ultimate event for anyone in the market for a sailing catamaran. Navigating the show can be overwhelming, but with a few insider tips, you’ll be cruising through the event like a pro.
Spread across two harbors, the Vieux Port and Port Canto, the festival showcases over 600 boats, from sleek monohulls to luxurious motor yachts, and of course, a stunning array of catamarans. Tickets for the event can be purchased online or at the entrance, but we recommend buying them in advance to avoid the long lines.
Pro Tip 1: The show tends to be busiest from Friday to Sunday, so if you’re looking to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed experience, plan your visit for Tuesday through Thursday. Also, the show opens at 10 AM, and getting there early gives you a head start before the crowds pour in.
Pro Tip 2: If you are only interested in sailing catamarans and don't intend to visit the Vieux Port, note that the sailing catamarans area in Port Canto is not in Cannes town. There is a shuttle taking you between the harbors but to save time you might want to book accommodation around Pointe Croisette.
Must-See Catamarans at the Cannes Yachting Festival
The 2024 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival will feature a stellar lineup of catamarans from leading manufacturers as well as some 'new kids on the block'. Here’s some of the models you won’t want to miss:
Some favorites from well-known manufacturers:
Aventura 45
Balance 526
Fountaine Pajot Aura 51
Gunboat 72 V
Outremer 52
Privilege Signature 510
Sunreef 60 Eco
Windelo 54 Yachting
First timers in Cannes:
Seawind 1370
Swiss Cat 55

Pro Tip 3: To make the most of your time at the show, we highly recommend using Catamaran Show's unique comparison tool to explore and compare these boats in advance. Our website features detailed information on over 200 sailing catamaran models, so you can arrive at the festival with a clear idea of which boats are the best fit for your sailing dreams.
Pro Tip 4: Remember that getting aboard some of the most popular catamarans often requires booking in advance. So, plan ahead to ensure you don’t miss out on seeing your dream boat. Many brands offer a booking on their website.
To make the most of the Cannes Yachting Festival
Here's some more good advice that will help you:
Explore Both Harbors of the Cannes Yachting Festival
Even if you are there for sailing catamarans mainly, it is worthwhile to explore the Vieux Port too to see the full range of what’s on offer by taking the shuttle boat between them. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to also see a large selection of tenders in the Cannes harbour, it's after all the second most important item on a sailing catamaran!
Keep an eye out for your favorite YouTube sailors
In 2023, channels like The Wynns , Sailing Zatara , and Sailing Awen were spotted. These influencers often share valuable insights and personal experiences that can add to your understanding of the boats.
Lunch tip at the Cannes Yachting Festival
If you are into securing a well-planned trip, why not also book the best possible lunch right after the booked boat tours? Enjoy fine French cuisine just around the corner from your favourite catamarans at Bijou Plage Experimental . If you are in Cannes, we recommend O’Key with a similar setting.
The Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 is more than just a boat show—it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of sailing catamarans, discover the latest models, and possibly find your dream boat. With a bit of preparation, including using Catamaran Show to plan your visit, you can turn this exciting event into a productive and enjoyable experience. Don’t forget to check out last year’s highlights, like this video from the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival and The Wynns’ coverage of the event for a taste of what’s to come!

Alex Smith takes a look at the best boats that are on show at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, with several global launches
Founded in 1977, the Cannes boat show takes place in the beautiful French city every September and showcases almost 600 boats, including motor yachts, superyachts, catamarans, tenders and sailing yachts.
The official line-up of boats for the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival features hundreds of boats in all shapes and sizes. In fact the show is so bog that it can be difficult to know where to start in terms of taking a look at the latest models.
Fear not, MBY’s Alex Smith has taken a look through the programme and has pulled together his expert list of the best boats at Cannes Boat Show.
16 of the best boats at Cannes Boat Show
Azimut seadeck 7.
Azimut is coming out all guns blazing at Cannes with not one but three new show debuts. The freshest of these is the Seadeck 7, which was still having the finishing touches applied to it just weeks before the show.
Like its smaller sibling, the Seadeck 6, which was launched earlier this summer, the 7 has a strong focus on sustainability and will be the first Azimut to feature a full diesel electric hybrid drive.

A single-level main deck that features sliding glass doors along the port side and out to the cockpit blurs the boundaries between inside and out, while a compact flybridge leaves space behind it for a substantial solar array.
Four cabins and three heads provide sleeping space for up to eight guests plus a further ensuite crew cabin if needed.
Ferretti Infynito 80
The big news from Ferretti this year is the second model in the Infynito range. Like its bigger sister, the Infynito 95, the 80 is all about comfort, volume and refinement rather than sporty looks and high speed. To that end it features a bluff bow, a wide beam of almost 21ft (6.36m) and a raised pilothouse design that frees up the main deck for more entertaining space.
However, the defining feature of every Infynito is the unusual covered foredeck lounge dubbed the ‘all-season terrace’. With its louvred sunroof and privacy-glass bow window, it provides enough shelter to use all year round while still allowing guests to enjoy the views and feeling of being outside.
Owners can choose to have this fitted with either an extending dinette for alfresco meals or a bar and stools with a full-width opening window into the galley. With no lower helm to worry about, this galley area occupies the entire front section of the saloon, leaving the rear half free for a large lounge and either an inside bar or dining area.
Princess S65
Nestling alongside the pontoons at the Vieux Port will be a pair of Princess world premieres in the form of the S65 and S80. As the smaller of the two, the S65 might lack the gorgeous air intakes we so admired on the S72 but it still delivers all the low-profile loveliness you would expect, thanks to a flybridge that is shunted aft and dropped deep, creating plenty of space for a set of sunroofs above the main deck helm.
The new boat will also share the same four-cabin, three-bathroom arrangement as the F65 but it’s the outdoor spaces that are really likely to impress.
At the back end, a huge fore-and-aft sunbed-topped tender garage is positioned between a neatly conceived engineering compartment to port and an ensuite crew cabin to starboard. Forward of this, a U shaped seating and dining area looks forward toward an inside-outside galley and a pleasantly sheltered corner seat to starboard.
Sunseeker Predator 55
This is the first chance to see the new Predator 55 in the flesh, giving potential buyers the opportunity to compare it with its sibling, the Superhawk 55. The transformation from open weekender to hard-top sportscruiser certainly looks to be as clever as it is comprehensive, giving the Predator its own distinctive character as well as a more cruising-oriented design.
Owners can choose between a galley-up or galley-down layout, and if you go with the former, the vacant space below deck can be specified as a lower saloon, a third cabin or a utility room. Two other larger cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom and additional headroom, provide greater comfort for guests.
This could well be one of the surprise stars of the show.
No other boat in its class appears to pack in quite as much as the new Pearl 82 yet it still manages to undercut most of the competition on price.
The key to this clever packaging is a raised pilothouse design that leaves room beneath it for a main deck master cabin with its own foredeck terrace, as well as four more ensuite doubles on the lower deck. The innovations continue further aft with folding side platforms, two different cockpit configurations and a garage that’s large enough to house a Williams 395 and a Sea Doo jetski.
Absolute Navetta 53
Looking to escape Cannes’ sweltering festival pontoons? Absolute’s new 53 is a great way to do it. It comes with all the latest features you would want from a modern Navetta cruiser – plunging gunwales, large aft cutaways, huge staggered hull windows and vertical glazing in an upright superstructure.
While that makes it look much more dynamic than the previous 52, it’s good to see that the internal spaces are organised in much the same way. On the lower deck, the forward VIP takes up the slack for the full-beam owner’s cabin and large port bathrooms with a diagonal double berth to make best use of the day heads’ angled forward bulkhead.
There’s also a twin to starboard down here, and up in the saloon, the floor-to-ceiling windows are combined with rounded corners and subtly angled furniture to add extra charm to the 53’s traditional big-volume trawler-style space.
Beneteau Swift Trawler 54
While the styling of Beneteau’s new Swift Trawler 54 looks likely to flex more toward the smaller Swift Trawler models than the superyacht-inspired Grand Trawler 62, the ingenuity behind the internal design looks very strong.
Rather than simply revel in the volume that a trawler design can bring, Beneteau has decided to divide each level into discernible zones for extra intimacy and homeliness.
The saloon, for instance, features three sections – an upper dinette adjacent to the helm; a casual lower lounge with a coffee table; and a transverse galley between the two. The galley is cordoned off from each space by means of a glass screen but you can still communicate easily or escape to the port side deck by means of the galley door. And the delineation of the deck levels also collaborates in that separation, enabling you to step aside from the main party and chill out in peace, exactly as you might at home.
Down below, you get a full-beam owner’s cabin with an ensuite bathroom, plus a forward VIP, a port bunk room and a port bathroom with Jack and Jill doors – and while that might sound quite formulaic, the design intelligence down here again looks pretty impressive.
FIM 500 Regina
Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi (FIM) has come a long way in a short space of time on the back of a range of stylish open boats from 34ft to 47ft. During this year’s Cannes festival, the yard will be revealing its largest craft to date, the new FIM 500 Regina.
The most distinctive feature of the new 500 is a swooping carbon-fibre hard top that links up with the windscreen to create a nicely sheltered helm position. This incorporates 3kW of solar panels to help power the ship’s systems and keep charge the batteries charged. Another neat idea is a two-part sunpad on the foredeck with a sliding front section that can be pushed forward to create an aft facing bench at the bow.
Solaris Power 60 Open
Solaris has earned itself a reputation for building some of the prettiest motor boats afloat and the new flagship of the Open range will only serve to enhance that view. Curves in all the right places, an elegant flowing side profile and smart but restrained detailing give it effortless presence on the water. Even with a plain white gelcoat (Solaris typically opts for bolder colours), it oozes style.
It’s a similar story up on deck where folding side terraces increase both the size and the outlook of its already generous cockpit, while a long open hard top (with the colour matched to the hull) provides plenty of shade for its occupants.
antiere del Pardo, an icon of Italian boating for more than 50 years, is set to launch three new boats at Cannes, and for motoryacht aficionados, the most exciting of them will be its new flagship GT75.
While this third and largest GT model is designed to straddle the slick, feel-good day boats of the Walkaround P Class and the more practical four-season Endurance platforms of the fly-equipped E Class, it certainly appears to flex quite decisively in favour of outdoor entertainment.
The aft deck, for instance, features a huge beach club zone, spread across three different levels with a set of fold-down terraces that are set higher than usual and can be adjusted to any angle, enabling you to use them as sofas, sun loungers or lateral dive platforms.
The space between them can be left open for freestanding furniture and tender stowage or it can be fitted with a huge central sun pad above an enclosed tender garage. If you opt for the former, you also get direct access to the beach club from the owner’s cabin through a set of steps leading up to sliding glass doors.
Pershing GTX80
Although the GTX80 made a brief appearance at the Venice show in June, this will be the first chance for most visitors to get up close and personal with it. As with the original GTX116, this is. Pershing’s attempt to create a crossover yacht that offers the style and brand values of its high performance craft, with a bit more space in exchange for a little less pace.
Triple 1,000hp IPS1350s still push it to a useful 34 knots (its sister yacht, the 8X, tops out at 48 knots) but now the focus is on guests having just as much fun at anchor as the skipper has underway. Folding side terraces and a two-tier bathing platform combine to make a vast beach club zone where guests can spread out close to the water, and because the LOA is genuinely under 24m (rather than the LLL), it’s not subject to the strict anchoring limitations affecting many craft in the South of France.
This isn’t just a new boat. As the first entry from WiLder, an offshoot of parent company, Wider Yachts, this is the world debut of an entirely new brand. The core idea behind it is to introduce superyacht-level comfort, refinement and detailing on an easy-to-handle 60-footer that can be fully customised in line with the owner’s requirements. And in light of Wider’s recent work with the WiderCat 92 multihull and the Moonflower 72 superyacht project, the company looks very well placed to make that happen.
Built entirely from aluminium, boat number 1 looks likely to come with a fairly conventional layout, comprising a collection of central seating and sunbathing furniture, orbited by full walkaround side decks.
Those side decks ascend up a trio of steps toward the bow, helping create the volume down below for a private forward owner’s suite to supplement the guest and/or crew cabin amidships. Between these two zones, the central saloon will feature a galley and sofa, plus a starboard day heads.
Designer Stefano Pastrovich did brilliant things with Fiart’s original P48 and he will again be showcasing his talent in Cannes with a new P-Line flagship. Like the P48, the P58 is a multi-purpose cruiser with an elegant multi-tier main deck, a raised cushion-lined bow and a cavernous space below decks that’s tailor-made for customisation.
In terms of layout, the new boat is split into four key sections. At the back end, a pair of asymmetrical sunbeds looks aft toward a stern deck with a drop-down transom. Ahead of that, you take a step up to a large dinette with an alfresco galley, a dining table for eight and a pair of extra sunbeds.
The bow supplements that with a slightly recessed sun deck and the option of a retractable Japanese-style table. And down below, that multi-tier main helps create a huge central lounge with nearly 10ft of headroom, lots of natural light and a big galley with an American-style fridge. As standard you get two large ensuite “owner’s cabins”, one forward and one aft and, in line with Fiart’s quest to deliver a taste of the superyacht lifestyle, there’s a third heads dedicated solely to day guests, as well as a crew cabin with its own ensuite.
Cannes has become a hotbed for powercat premieres and the YOT 41 is likely to be one of most interesting yet. Just a year after the launch of its debut 36-footer, the new YOT 41 promises more comfort, more power and more fun, and its capacity to equip a family for a longer cruise is a key part of that.
It comes with two spacious cabins, each with private ensuite facilities, as well as a deck layout that includes a pair of fold-down aft platforms that expand the beam to more than 19ft. That means you have about 270 sq ft to play with and the modular furniture is designed to make the very most of that. Rated to carry up to 20 people, it features a pair of dinettes at the stern with convertible backrests and tables so you can rig it for sunbathing.
You can also opt for an electric platform between the outboards with a 200kg lift capacity, enabling it to operate as a chill-out zone, a toy-launch station, a swim platform or a simple passerelle. In addition to the squared-off bow lounge, you also get a midships settee and galley, as well as the luxury of four helm seats in the shelter of the wraparound screen.
Once you’ve finished investigating Pardo’s GT75, why not come and take a look at this? Having kick-started its powerboating mission in 2021 with a startlingly elegant 43-footer known as the Shadow, this famous Finnish builder is back with a 76ft walkaround weekender that adopts much the same approach. You get the vertical stem, the flared gunwales, the open transom and the hardtop. But this time, the grander scale enables the inclusion of roof-mounted sun pads and accommodation for up to six.
While the standard belo- decks layout comprises a full-beam owner’s suite and a forward VIP, separated by a downstairs lounge with galley and day heads, the optional three-cabin layout sacrifices the lower seating area for an extra twin.
Cranchi is launching two new boats at the show – this all-new 62 and the 67 Corsa, a sportsfly version of its existing 67 flybridge. It’s the former that is likely to prove more interesting, if only because it’s the first big Cranchi to feature a plumb bow.
But that’s not the only innovation. The 62 also gets a tender garage that converts into a beach club and a hydraulic platform capable of carrying a jet ski. Teak decking that extends through from the cockpit into the galley and dining area blurs the boundaries between inside and out, while a sunroof over the forward end of the saloon and a skipper’s door to the side deck should do the same for the helm position.
More guest areas on the flybridge and a safe and sociable foredeck lounge provide extra functionality. And that continues below deck with three ensuite cabins and an optional crew cabin. We’re not sure if the pink tinge to the renderings is a genuine hull colour or a whim of the artist but we look forward to finding out.

The new yachts you can’t miss at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024
Running from 10 to 15 September, the Cannes Yachting Festival consistently delivers one of the finest displays of yachts in the world. The lineup also tends to include several world-class premieres from shipyards eager to present their latest designs across Port Vieux and Port Canto. BOAT takes a closer look at some of the hottest debuts of 2024...
Builder : Sanlorenzo Length : 50m
Almax is Sanlorenzo's first fuel-cell powered superyacht and the first unit in the 50Steel series, with two other 50Steels on order or under construction at the Italian shipyard. With hotel load powered by "green" methanol and fuel cell reformer technology, she marks one of a small, but growing number of yachts exploring alternative power sources in a bid for carbon-neutral cruising. Sanlorenzo estimated that the new technology could cover up to "90 per cent of the typical usage time of a superyacht with zero emissions". Accommodation is across five cabins, with guest accommodation accompanied by a gym and spa area.
Builder : Cantiere delle Marche Length : 44.3m
Sold to an experienced German owner, Maverick is the inaugural vessel among a trio of Flexplorer 146 yachts. She has been described as a "true explorer vessel", featuring a robust exterior by Hydro Tec , a custom-built A-frame crane and a 22-millimetre ice-belt above and below the waterline to ensure safe navigation at the highest latitudes. On the leisure side, a large infinity pool is included on the aft deck, which can be covered and used as storage for deck furniture when underway. Other features include a gym, a sauna and a diving centre.
Builder : Columbus Yachts Length : 43m
Frette is the second unit in the Atlantique 43 series and follows close behind sistership Night Fury II , which was delivered in June 2024. Both exterior and interior design is the work of Milan-based studio Hot Lab , who describe Frette as a "natural synthesis between a motor yacht and a classic sailing boat". This is best seen in the sailing-style stern, which hosts a five-metre long central swimming pool which sits just 50 centimetres above sea level. She was christened after the renowned Italian brand and is fittingly adorned in Frette linens throughout.
Builder : Bilgin Yachts Length : 41.9m
The first yacht to emerge from Bilgin Yachts' new Antalya facility, Kasif was built for a repeat client of the shipyard. Her top features include a 5,000+ nautical mile range to assist the owners' business in offshore fishing farming, though her rich, burgundy-lacquered interiors will be of the greatest interest to those perusing Vieux Port and Port Canto. She marks the eighth collaboration between the shipyard and Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design and follows on from work on Tatiana , Leona and Eternal Spark .
Builder : Ocean King Length : 40.4m
This unit has been pledged to an "esteemed" Italian owner and was last seen publicly ahead of her sea trials . Her rugged, explorer-style exterior is by Design ALot Studio, while naval architecture is owed to inNave . All social spaces are well connected, including a formal dining room on the upper deck which leads into the sun deck with its bar and swimming pool. Meanwhile, a large beach club with two fold-out balconies will allow guests easy access to the sea. Accommodation is for 10 guests, including a master cabin forward on the main deck arranged with an en suite bathroom and private study.
Builder : Overmarine Length : 39m
Multiple is the first entry-level model in Mangusta's displacement Oceano series, which comprises the Ocean 39, Oceano 44, Oceano 46 and Oceano 50. She was designed as an “ocean-going glass villa" and features floor-to-ceiling windows in both the main and upper saloons and sliding doors that create a single indoor-outdoor space across both levels. The infinity pool is a major highlight, positioned on the bow with a partial glass bottom that allows light to filter through to the master cabin below – which benefits from its own fold-out balcony.
Builder : Custom Line Length : 38.8m
Telli was launched in February 2024 as the first unit in the Navetta 38 series. The new model was created from a desire to temper the nautical tradition of the Navetta series with a young, sporty style, according to design studio Citterio Viel . There is also a focus on indoor-outdoor connection seen best in the 70-square-metre beach area and the glazing that circles the sundeck, which measures an impressive 15 metres long. Accommodation is split across five cabins, including a main deck owner's cabin of over 40 square metres.
Builder : Pendennis Length : 34.9m
This highly-anticipated compact explorer yacht was delivered from Pendennis ' yard in Falmouth this May. Her name, Fox , is owed to Falmouth's famous inventor Robert Were Fox the Younger, a 19th-century scientist who invented a special type of compass which ultimately allowed exploration (and the discovery of) the South Pole. The newly built explorer yacht 's interior and exterior styling is by Q London, with highlights including a 103.5-square-metre open aft deck, as well as a DJ station, a glass-walled sky lounge and a dedicated wine fridge. Accommodation encompasses a full-beam main deck master cabin and a further four en suite cabins.
Builder : AB Yachts Length : 33.5m
Characterised by a sporty exterior and eye-watering maximum speed of 45 knots, this model is the first in a new range designed entirely by Archea Associati . According to the shipyard, the AB110 remains unchanged from previous models in terms of performances, noiselessness and the absence of any vibration while further increasing on board liveability and comfort. Imagery is undisclosed but her interiors have been described as loft-like, "charming" and defined by an "all-pervading brightness" as a result of generous glazing on the main deck.
Builder : Numarine Length : 30.7m
The first hull in Turkish yard Numarine 's 30XP series will make her world debut at Cannes. The first Numarine yacht to be fitted with hybrid propulsion, Minella has been designed inside and out by Can Yalman , although an alternative version of the interiors has been created in collaboration with Istanbul-based Ofist Design Studio. The design philosophy is "inspired by a sustainable, Scandinavian design aesthetic". Accommodation is for up to 10 guests across five en suite cabins, comprising four guest cabins on the lower deck and a master cabin on the main deck forward.
Super Mario
Builder : Extra Yachts Length : 30.7m
Super Mario is the fourth unit in the Extra X96 Triplex series and stands out from her sisterships with the addition of a sixth cabin on the upper deck and the relocation of the galley to the main deck. Her "modern and eclectic" Hot Lab -designed interiors are spread across four decks and feature openable floor-to-ceiling windows, natural oak and white Calacatta marble. A beam of 7.6 metres and a hull length of just 23.8 metres means she falls under the CE category for recreational craft up to 24 metres.
DreamCatcher
Builder : Nautor Swan Length : 28.3m
First revealed in 2021 at a virtual press conference, DreamCatcher was delivered to her owner in July this year. She is the Finnish shipyard's first hybrid sailing yacht with "feminine exterior lines" penned by veteran Swan designer German Frers . Described as a "no-compromise cruiser with a racer soul", she has a draught of four metres, with options for a shallow-draught, telescopic and performance keel. Her warm, classic interiors are the work of Misa Poggi , with accommodation for 10 guests, comprising an owner’s cabin located forward and four guest en suite cabins.
Builder : Wider Yachts Length : 28m
Italian shipyard Wider Yachts ' first multihull offering, Acali , was designed in collaboration with Luca Dini and built to RINA class. Offering large interior volumes, highlights come in the form of a dedicated owner's deck, an expansive beach club and a hybrid propulsion system. The owner's suite has a private foredeck lounge, while the tender garage can transform into a spacious swim platform. The 67-square-metre beach club benefits from fold-down bulwarks, direct access to the VIP cabin and discreet water toy storage. Accommodation on the 28-metre composite catamaran is for eight guests across four cabins with further provision for a crew of four.
Builder : Sanlorenzo Length : 27.9m
This sporty model is the second in the Italian shipyard’s new smart performance (SP) line, following in the footsteps of the 33-metre SP110 which BOAT International visited last year . Initial renderings reveal a split-level saloon, floor-to-ceiling glazing and a spacious owner's suite arranged with a separate lounge and glass wardrobe. Accommodation is for up to eight guests and four crew, while other key numbers include 7.1-metre beam, a draught of 1.2 metres and a maximum speed of 40 knots.
Builder : Otam Length : 27.8m
As the flagship of the yard’s Fast and Iconic series, Sexy Me is said to have a "big-boat mentality" in spite of its compact footprint and loadline measuring under 24 metres. In close collaboration with Otam, Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design Firm is responsible for exterior styling, resulting in custom details including a helm console inspired by the world of F1 racing cars. The Otam 90 GTS series is fully customisable at the engineering level and Sexy Me is the semi-open version, devised to accommodate a large number of guests on board with a full-beam master suite, VIP cabin and guest cabin.
Builder : Pearl Yachts Length : 25.3m
The first unit in the Pearl 82 series will also be making her world premiere in Cannes this year. The model sits between the shipyard's Pearl 95 and Pearl 72 offerings and features a raised pilothouse design with two aft deck configurations and a semi-walkaround deck with a forward master suite and private forepeak terrace. The company claims this model is the only yacht in its class to offer this type of configuration, and Pearl Yachts managing director, Iain Smallridge, called the 82 "the most compact superyacht on the market." Naval architecture and exterior design is owed to Dixon Yacht Design .
Builder : Princess Yachts Length : 25.2m
The flagship of the S Class range, the S80 was developed in collaboration with naval architects from Olesinski and Italian design house Pininfarina . She offers a versatile layout either as an owner-operated vessel with an open saloon and raised helm, or as a "discretely crewed" vessel, with the option of an enclosed helm concealing crew accommodation. Leisure time will be best spent on the 28.7-metre flybridge, designed with multiple seating areas, a wet bar and a barbecue. The space is also equipped with a convertible dining table and even functions as an outdoor cinema with a rise-and-fall television.
Riva 82 Diva
Builder : Riva Length : 25m
The Riva 82 Diva technically debuted at a private preview event last year, but the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival is the first time the new flybridge model will be available to the public. According to the Italian shipyard, the yacht aims to "open a new chapter" for the Sarnico-based builder and offers a "revolutionary approach to the use of space" by maximising outdoor areas and ensuring indoor spaces are thoughtfully designed according to their function. For example, the beach club features a Riva first in the use of fold-down bulwarks which expand the yacht's six-metre beam by an additional three metres. A sunpad stretching over 2.5 metres adds to the set-up.
Builder : Pershing Length : 23.9m
Designed by Rome-based studio Vallicelli Yacht Design , the GTX80 is characterised by open spaces and "maximum onboard livability". In a first for a Pershing model, the stern can be converted into lateral terraces to promote direct contact with the sea. Other innovative developments include an optional carbon-fabric hardtop for the sundeck and the layout of the open galley-bar, which is fully integrated into the lounge setting and opens out onto the cockpit to create a "main hub". Accommodation is across four cabins, plus a cabin for two crew.
INFYNITO 80
Builder : Ferretti Yachts Length : 23.7m
The INFYNITO 80 builds on the "environmental friendliness, unprecedented flexibility and innovative layout" of its slightly larger sister, the INFYNITO 90 . This includes the return of the popular all-season terrace, sheltered by an extension to the superstructure for "total privacy and protection in all weather conditions". However, the new model does herald several major changes, including the upper deck which was closed on the INFYNITO 90 but "totally open" on this unit. The INFYNITO 80 also has sustainability in mind with outfitting in lamellar teak, regenerated leather and other recyclable interiors. Exterior design is by Filippo Salvetti with interiors owed to IdeaeITALIA .
Builder : Nautor Swan Length : 23.2m
A landmark launch, Nautor Swan's first motor yacht will also be available to view at Cannes. The model was initially conceived as an accompanying chaseboat but evolved over the design process until it became an independent dayboat. The walkaround deck design is an ode to the Finnish shipyard's sailing expertise, while a 50-square-metre beach club and a top speed of 40 knots are sure to appeal to the motor yacht crowd. Accommodation is across three guest cabins and quarters for two crew.
Azimut Seadeck 7
Builder : Azimut Length : 21.7m
Designed with the latest environmental technologies, the Seadeck 7 forms part of the yard's Seadeck series, conceived to bring the yard closer to the IMO’s CO2 emissions target ahead of the 2030 deadline. Together with Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, Alberto Mancini developed the design which borrows inspiration from sister brand Benetti's bestselling Oasis range. There is a strong focus on al fresco living and a "Fun Island" at the stern of the vessel – a reinvented cockpit which is essentially a sea-level outdoor lounge. Accommodation is across four cabins.

Brunswick Corporation’s award-winning 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival includes new product announcements and leading market share
CANNES, France , Sept. 23, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brunswick Corporation , (NYSE: BC), and many of its industry leading brands, wrapped up another successful Cannes Yachting Festival with leading market share, new product introductions, and another significant accolade for Brunswick Boat Group . The event featured displays from Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Navan, Navico Group products, Mercury Marine , and Flite, showcasing the Company’s global customer appeal and collaboration among Brunswick’s divisions.
Some of the many highlights from the show included:
- Mercury Marine exhibited more outboard engines than any other manufacturer, capturing over 60% share on boats up to 12 meters and nearly 70% of all outboard engines on display on the water. Additionally, at Port Vieux, where boats exceed 12 meters, Mercury outboards accounted for almost 90% of the outboard engines on display. 2024 is the fourth consecutive year that Mercury has had leading market share at Cannes , driven by high demand from European boat builders and consumers for its high horsepower propulsion systems. During a media event on the first day of the show, Mercury Racing introduced the new 3.4L 150R and 200R outboard engines, built on a V6 platform. Mercury also unveiled a 105hp outboard jet and announced that the 150hp FourStroke is now available in Cold Fusion and Warm Fusion White, in addition to Phantom Black, responding to demand from saltwater boaters.
- Navico Group products were present on around 70% of all boats at the show while many of Navico’s customers announced new models in Cannes with Navico products installed, including Simrad’s NXT Ultrawide and products from Navico Group’s Mastervolt, Pro Mariner, Lenco, B&G, Marinco, and CZone Mobile brands. One large OEM customer also announced its entry into digital boating solutions with Navico and C-Zone Mobile as its partner. The application offers various features designed to enhance the ownership experience and for boats equipped with the Connect hub.
- Brunswick Boat Group maintained a strong presence in Cannes with exhibits from Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, and Navan. Sea Ray garnered significant interest, achieving numerous sales in France and earning the “Motorboat of the Year” award for the Sea Ray SPX190 Outboard from French magazine Moteur Bateaux.
- Flite celebrated its one-year anniversary of joining the Brunswick family by hosting a European dealer event, uniting key EMEA channel partners to discuss its product lineup and growth strategy. Flite products were also displayed throughout the show including in many of Brunswick’s exhibits.
“Cannes and other major shows outside North America are not only important and influential for our brands but also provide an opportunity to engage with our European customers, channel partners and international teams,” said Dave Foulkes , Brunswick Corporation CEO. “Response to our products in Europe remains strong and I was thrilled to see solid attendance and engaged buyers.”
