The Anchorage Yacht Club was the first of its kind in New York; it went from a privately owned marina to an ‘Aquaminium’. There are 460 deeded boat slips which are individually owned.
There are many advantages in owning your own slip, the most notable being that you’re not paying rent that you will never see again. You get to use your slip during the season and then lay-up on land or stay in water off season without paying the dock or storage charges you pay at other marinas.
As an owner you can also rent out your slip like renting out any other property you own. And when you had enough of the boating life you can sell it… just like any other property you own.

The AYC is within walking distance of Montauk Highway, with restaurants and stores available. Each slip has a parking spot right behind your slip. And every slip has a concrete patio behind the slip for you to place your own picnic table and barbecue to entertain your family and guests. Each slip has an electric post with two 30amp outlets and dockside water hook-up. Services and amenities do not end when the season does! Anchorage Yacht club offers winter boat storage on premises in Lindenhurst NY, to both members and non members. We offer a true full service boating experience!

I have been an owner of a slip at the Anchorage since 2004 now, love it down there. I sold my boat in 2011, but continue to rent my slip. It's like a home away from home... Many improvements throughout the years. Best way to dock your boat AND you get free winter storage down there too.
