Stella Maris is one of the longest and biggest charter gulets in Croatia, with the beautiful shape that takes the breath away! This is of the rare 8 cabins gulet in Croatia which can accommodate 16 people in its luxurious cabins. Stella Maris is one of the best sellers in Croatia.

Its spacious interior hides eight beautiful cabins. There are fully air-conditioned six double bed cabins and two twin bed cabins, all with private luxurious bathrooms. Spacious, neat and fully equipped are some of the adjectives that describe Stella Maris bedrooms. You will rest peacefully, and you have plenty of storage space for your clothes. There is a sofa and a large mirror as well.

Exterior parts of the yacht have the same spacious and elegant ambiance. A large backside with the dining table is perfect for summer nights and enjoying delicious meals prepared by private chef. It is also great for enjoying amazing Adriatic cruise while sailing. Lie down on the back sofa while the lovely hostess brings you a glass of top-quality Croatian wine.

The saloon is large enough to receive all guests to enjoy evening hours while having pleasant conversations or playing games. On the left is a long lounging area for relaxing and having a nice morning cup of coffee, while the right side holds a dining area where in case of bad weather, you will have your meals. The bar holds all required inventory for all your favorite drinks, beverages and snacks.

On the front side is one more sitting area with sofas, but there is more than enough place to dance and have fun. Above the saloon ceiling, one more sun deck is waiting for you, with sun mattresses and relaxed atmosphere. After all that relaxing and laziness, it is time for something active!

Stella Maris has a great deal of fun water sports and water activities. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, hop on water skies or a wake board and speed across the bay. The crew will be more than happy to pull you with their tender. The children can jump on the waves on a fun donut! There are two sea bobs and a wave runner as well. For something more relaxing take a kayak or a stand-up paddle board and explore the surrounding green environment. Don’t forget some snorkeling gear so you can investigate what hides in the shallows. Our sea is rich with fish, sea weed, cephalopods, shell fish and other. For the onboard activities, you can use an elliptical trainer, stationary bike and a stepper.

The six-crew member will welcome you with open arms and will do everything in their power to make you relaxed and satisfied. Being this high gives you the feeling of privacy. To cover following costs, but not limited to: food and beverages for the Charter Party, port fees, national park and parks of nature entrances, fuel for Personal Watercraft* and for tender operated watersports (donut, tube, waterski, wakeboard), shipping agents’ fees, custom fees and charter licenses if cruising in Montenegro or Italy and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter such as but not limited to hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport, excursions and adverse activities (scuba diving, big game fishing, rafting…).

APA to be paid in cash on board or as a wire transfer to shipping agent’s account. Should APA be paid as wire transfer, shipping agent’s commission of 2% will be deducted from the APA.

NOTE: Gratuities / tips for the crew are not included, the industry’s standard is 5% to 15% of base charter rate, given at the Charterer’s discretion.

The dining saloon is open plan, raised to allow for plenty of natural light and to enjoy the passing views. A formal dining area to starboard has seating for all 12 guests, with an adjacent L shaped sofa and coffee table. Below, the cabins are configured as 6 doubles and 2 twins, all ensuite with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. The crew of course has separate quarters, ensuring total guest privacy.

Wide teak decks allow for effortless movement around the yacht with ample entertaining or relaxing options. The shaded aft deck is perfect for socialising, featuring a built-in alfresco dining table with full beam aft seating area. • Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

How is food organized?

Before your departure, You will receive a list of food served on board so you can specify all extra needs you might have or remove any items you do not like. Your cruise assistant will forward all of the group’s wishes, and info about allergies, likes, and dislikes to the chef on board.

How are beverages organized?

Before your departure, Your cruise assistant will arrange that all of your favorite drinks are waiting for you in the yacht’s bar. If you decide to buy drinks from the yacht’s bar, you will give a list of drinks you would like to have on board, the crew will get them and sell them according to the yacht’s bar price list. All Inclusive drinks package includes local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; you can bring all foreign brands with you free of charge. If you pay a corkage fee, you will give us the list of drinks you wish to have in the yacht’s bar and we will supply the drinks – you will only cover the supermarket bill.

Captain : will take you around all the beautiful places and make the trip as safe as possible. He will follow the pre-planned route, created for you by your “concierge assistant” if only the weather will allow it.

Chef:  is famous for its food and exquisite cuisine. Food is modified according to your taste buds and good planning can make wonders for your cruise.

3 Deckhands : the right hand of the captain, will make sure the ship is safely moored, your cabins and deck cleaned, and everything is in order.

2 Hostess: will always be around to make sure you get the right wine with your meals, that the table is properly set and cleaned and that chilled drinks are brought to you, as soon as you get thirsty.

With her distinctive black-edged sails and navy blue hull, STELLA MARIS cuts a beautiful figure around the picturesque islands of Croatia and the Adriatic.

A traditional Turkish Gulet, now chartering in Croatia, STELLA MARIS is a well-maintained and elegant sailing yacht ideal for large groups and family charters.

At 35m (114ft), STELLA MARIS can accommodate 16 guests in eight cabins – six double and two twin cabins – each with ensuite.

Spacious throughout, STELLA MARIS is tastefully decorated in fine timber and cream. The light, airy saloon is set up for socialising, with a long dining table and comfortable lounge seating, ideal for games, recliner and just taking in the passing panoramas. Aft of the vessel is a pleasant seating arrangement for alfresco dining, with a bimini overhead for protection during the heat of the day. The forward deck is wide and spacious, with sun pads for guests to soak up the sun and incredible views of the Dalmatian coast.

Entertainment is provided by CD and DVD libraries, iPod dock, TV and DVD, as well as a mix of water toys including a tender with 40hp engine, fishing equipment, water skis for kids and adults, wakeboard, tow toys and snorkelling gear. Led by Captain Mirko Pericic, STELLA MARIS has a dedicated crew of five who will attend to guests' every request, including activities and dietary preferences.

Boat Description

Gulet Stella Maris is an impressive gulet, and it is also the largest gulet in Croatia. With a length of 38 meters, there’s no doubt that you will have plenty of space on this gulet. The gulet is excellently maintained, and with a fairly new building year when it comes to gulet, she feels almost new.

Guest cabins configuration :

• Each of the cabins has wardrobe, 24 V/220 electricity, hair dryers, its own en-suite bathroom, home like, with shampoo, toilet paper, soap, shower box
• Beach towels: 2 per person per week
• Bathroom towels: 2 hand towel and 2 large towel per person per week
• Additional beach or bathroom towels :  on request
• Bedding info : bed sheets are included in price.
• Air-condition: 24 hours/ day is included in the price.

Deck: The forward part of the deck is huge, and it features sofas for relaxation in the middle, as well as an area with two tables and surrounding sofas. If you’re looking to get a sun tan, you will want to head up to the top deck, and enjoy the sun mattresses which are set up for that purpose. When the time for a meal comes, you will come down from the top deck to enjoy the amazing gastronomic creations of the chef, and you’ll be seated at a large table, surrounded by sofas. Finally, satisfied from your meal, the cushioned sofa behind the dining area will invite you to come and relax.

Salon areas: The salon is spacious and incredibly bright due to the large panoramic windows. On the right side from the entrance you will find the bar and the long dining table surrounded by sofas and chairs. On the other side of the salon, there’s another area with cushioned sofas and smaller tables for drinks. The corridors lead to the eight cabins, of which 2 are twin bed cabins, and 6 are double bed.

There is a harmony between the inside and out and the large windows in the salon create an open layout that allows the spaces to flow seamlessly into one another. Stella is the perfect choice for up to 16 guests in 8 spacious and comfortable cabins.

The Deck area offers multi-functional space for lounging and dining. The deck incorporates both open areas for socializing and entertaining and secluded sections for taking the time out. The sun-deck has been designed to enrich relaxation with green grassed floors and large sun-pads. Stella encompasses an on-deck jacuzzi, exercise equipment, and a fair range of water toys. Additionally, a spacious salon with a big dining table provides the perfect surroundings for formal dining.

EXTRA – APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of charter fee

• Port fees, marina fees and anchorages
• National parks and parks of nature entrances
• Shipping agents’ fees
• Custom fees and charter licenses if cruising in Montenegro or Italy and other costs for services requested by the Charter Party during the charter such as but not limited to hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer's request; shoreside transport; excursions and adverse activities (scuba diving, big game fishing, rafting…).

* To drive a Personal Watercraft in Croatia one needs to have a boat driving permit with him/her when on the Personal Watercraft. It is forbidden to allow a person to drive a Personal Watercraft if one does not have a license with him/her. If the person does not have this, it is possible to obtain one while in Croatia.

STELLA MARIS offers first class cruise experience for 16 guests

The gulet, STELLA MARIS is 38 meters in length and although 15 years afloat, has always received the very best in maintainance, undergoing a partial refit in 2017. STELLA MARIS is very nicely appointed and offers huge expanses of teak deck, spacious cabins and a very comfortable, homelike saloon. Stella Maris has a full inventory of water sports equipment and makes for a wonderful holiday home on the water for a family of between 12 and 16 people.

Below decks, there are two good-sized master cabins with double berths, four guest cabins with double berths, and two guest cabins with twin single berths. All cabins are beautifully furnished, comfortable and light-filled, fitted with en suite facilities and airconditioning.

The forward deck is generously-sized, featuring sofas for relaxation and two dining tables, while the gulet's coachroof doubles as a sunning area with panoramic views. Meals are taken on the aft deck, under the cover of a sun awning and the cushioned lounging area is enticing as a place to gather just after lunch or dinner and enjoy coffee while reading or enjoying conversation with friends.

STELLA MARIS's deck saloon is spacious and well-lit due to the positioning of large panoramic windows. Here there is an indoor bar and dining area with surround seating for intimate gatherings while the yacht is underway.

Enjoy the beauty of the Croatian coastline when the yacht is at anchor: explore by paddleboard, kayak or Jetski, returning to the yacht to rest and relax in the company of five highly-skilled crew members.

Gulet Stella Maris

Built in 2004 in Turkey, Stella Maris is a large 38m gulet - style yacht accommodating 16 guests in 8 en-suite cabins. All cabins are fully serviced with the high quality linen, towels, bath robes, slippers, a set of toiletries, hair dryers, AC and music systems. All cabins are spacious and offer enough natural light. In addition, the engine room is fully insulated reducing the engine and generator noise to a miniumum. 

Outside, Stella Maris offers a spacious sundeck with comfortable sunbeds where guests can soak up the sun and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. There is also a shaded outdoor dining area where guests can enjoy al fresco meals prepared by the chef.

She is also equipped with a variety of water toys and sports equipment, including snorkeling gear, paddleboards, and fishing equipment, providing guests with plenty of opportunities to explore the crystal-clear waters and engage in water sports activities.

Lastly she is attended by a wonderful crew. Captain Niko is one of the best Captains in the Adriatic and a wonderful time onboard is guaranteed.

Combining fine wood and white upholstery, the main saloon is open and pleasantly spacious, with ample amounts of natural light flowing in through large windows. Exterior areas are also very spacious with a huge sun deck and a shaded seating area, perfect for al fresco dining and day to night lounging while enjoying the incredible vistas of the Adriatic coast. Apart from private cruises, special wellness programs may be organized as well to complement your sailing holiday in Croatia.
