Fabulous classic 1989 motor yacht LADY S (ex Rampante, Francine, Sahab III) measures 46.02m (151') and was built by the renowned Italian shipyard Benetti. She received a comprehensive refit in 2018 and offers deluxe accommodation for up to ten charter guests in five staterooms, while serviced by a crew of eight.

Immediately out of the main salon doors to on the main deck aft is the storage for the tenders, which are launched and retrieved through hatches using ceiling cranes. Further aft is the canvas-covered alfresco dining area consisting of a table and 10 chairs placed close to the stern. The rest of the deck is left clear for exercises such as yoga. A central staircase connects to the upper deck, enclosed by screens for all-weather dining.

Guests can choose whether to have the sundeck open to the elements or shaded by canvas covers. Ideal for daytime or evening entertainment, the forward section is fitted with a wet bar with sun pads convertible to sun loungers immediately behind. The group can rest at the central alfresco lounge which has four corner sofas each with a drinks table. The raised Jacuzzi behind the communications mast receives spectacular views over the stern and will seat up to four guests.

The beautiful interiors remain true to their classic origin in the 1980s while providing guests with the utmost contemporary comfort: Warm wooden panelling and white walls are used throughout for atmospheric interiors that emphasise the volume of each room. Blue tones are used for chic and tranquil interiors perfect for laid-back cruising as well as close celebrations between family and friends.

Guest accommodation is placed upon the lower deck and consists of a Master Suite with a bathtub and shower, two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins all with en-suite facilities, a corner sofa and TV entertainment for a comfortable night's rest for up to 10 guests.  

After returning from a day in the sunshine the main deck salon treats guests to an air-conditioned interior with refreshments from the forward wet bar. The group can sink into the plush starboard sofa and armchairs for conversation while appreciating the view out of the broad port windows. And to the aft, a circular drinks table seats four close to the doors out onto the main deck aft.

A staircase leads straight up into the sky lounge which offers the group an alternative place to relax day or night, with table lamps increasing the lighting for reading or evening ambience: The seating is arranged to provide a port sofa and four high-backed armchairs around a grand coffee table, and two additional armchairs are placed around a drinks and games table in the forward starboard corner.

To the aft is the enclosed formal dining area to seat up to 10 guests with almost seamless glazing running from one side to the other for a light-flooded environment.

Twin Caterpillar engines producing 1,950 HP each create a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.

She was delivered to her owner, the American billionaire, for a reported price of US $180 million.

LADY S is currently available for charter and is ranked in 69th place on the list of the largest yachts in the world.

Reymond Langton Design worked on the interior of LADY S. The London-based design duo has worked on superyachts such as AVIVA and KISMET in the past.

LADY S yacht can welcome twelve guests in seven cabins, including a spacious master suite, four VIP cabins, and two twins, making her a fantastic family-friendly yacht.

Onboard LADY S guests can enjoy features such as a basketball court, a glass-bottom pool, a steam room, an IMAX cinema, and a gym.

Each cabin features 8k flatscreen TVs and modern entertainment systems. 31 crew members are available to tend to the needs of guests and fulfill their every wish on board LADY S.

LADY S specifications

The LADY S yacht is 93 meters (305.1 ft) long with a 14.1 meter (46.3 ft) beam and a 3.9 meter (12.1 ft) draft.

Her cruising speed lies at 14 knots, and her maximum speeds go as high as 18 knots. The weight of LADY S is 2,999 tons, and she is powered by twin CAT engines.

The high-profile designer Michael Leach worked on the exterior of LADY S. The yacht has a large helipad on the top deck, while the bow is reserved for sunbathing or storage if required.

She has a jacuzzi on the aft as well as a spacious beach club that can be opened on several sides to provide a seamless transmission between indoor and outdoor living.

LADY S carries at least two Tenderworks tenders both painted red to match the color of Snyder’s NFL team .

LADY S is an all-white yacht with large tinted windows which allow guests to have complete privacy while on board.

The owner of LADY S purchased the superyacht for a price of US $180 million in 2019.

She generates a further US $10 to 15 million in running costs every year depending on usage. She is currently available for charter at a rate of US $1.47 million per week.

Lady S is a 93m superyacht built in 2019 by Dutch yard Feadship. She offers some of the best facilities of any charter yacht, including an IMAX Dolby cinema – the first in the world – which comes with two viewing platforms.

Lady S commands a grand presence wherever she goes, with extensive space both inside and out on deck, faultless style, and a list of features that other superyachts can only dream of. 

Designed by Michael Leah and with naval architecture from Feadship De Voogt, Lady S sets a new standard of a luxury superyacht.

Her interiors, which feature lots of dazzling white and huge sparkling crystal chandeliers, are the work of Reymond Langton Design, who set out to create a “contemporary jewellery box” feel and in doing so sourced rare materials from around the world.

Lady S has so many standout features it’s hard to pick just one or two. There’s the fully-certified helipad, the chic beach club with hammam and plunge pool, which sits beneath the large glass-bottomed swimming pool, and of course the nightclub. 

Summer evenings can also be spent round one of two on-deck fire pits or watching a movie on the aft deck's 200-inch CSEED TV under the stars.

For sports fans, there’s a basketball court on deck, a golf tee and a large gym with panoramic views.

She is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and has a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 4,850nm from 209,000litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.

A gym/elevator makes access across the decks easy, and you’ll be able to take advantage of a fully equipped gym so you never miss a work out.

She also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

While on board you’ll find a great Wi-Fi connection, so you can check emails or update social media. Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the warmest of days.

LADY S, previously named FRANCINE, was built by Benetti and delivered to her owner in 1989, she later underwent a refit in 2019.

Keiton Bryant

Keiton was born in Jamaica. He was a marine engineer for 5 years on different installations, including commercial tankers, cargo ships and yachts. He has worked with Lady S through shipyard periods and guest trips and prides himself on ensuring that all machinery and equipment is operating safely and is maintained for everyone onboard. Keiton is constantly looking for new and better ways to perfrom his duties, keeping up to date with the advancement in technology and marine engineering. Ensuring guests can relax and be comfortable during their adventures aboard is Keiton’s main objective and one that he has succeeded at time and time again. He has a soft and quiet nature and is always willing to lend a helping hand. One of his passions is to teach and share his knowledge. During periods of down time from the marine environment, Keiton works as an assistant teacher in Jamaica. He enjoys long runs and hiking.

Fabian Goodhall

Fabian is an enthusiastic Jamaican marine engineer, who boasts 9 years of experience on commercial vessels and gas tankers. With his experience, knowledge and skills set, he has worked with various vessels all over the world providing dependable, reliable, and outstanding service. His ultimate goal is to ensure the safety of the guests and crew by managing the safe operation of machinery and equipment onboard. He is energetic, sociable, goal oriented and a charismatic team player who aims to ensure that the guests have the most exciting and unforgettable moments while onboard. Being a lover of sports, he plays football and cricket while resting from his engineering duties and finds joy in sharing his Jamaican culture with those around.

Luke Sumner

Luke hails from a small town in South Africa called East London. He has been in the yachting industry for 5 years and has progressed through the ranks quickly with an attitude of hard work and discipline. He is working towards his Officer of the Watch <3000GT. Luke has always had great affinity for the ocean, whether being on top of the water or under it, so when it comes to fishing, diving and water sports he is your guy. Lead Dive Master on board the Vessel, Luke has a passion for the underwater marine environment. He prides himself in excelling his guests experience through strong organisational skills and a variety of options from just dipping toes in the water to an early morning fishing trip or scenic drift dive to experience the wonders that the underwater world has to offer. Luke has a wonderful and open personality, always willing to interact and share his knowledge of the incredible environment he gets to work in everyday.

Johan Greyling

Johan was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has been working onboard luxury yachts for the past couple of years exploring the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean and visiting some of the world’s most beautiful islands. He discovered his passion for the ocean and marine life from a young age, being privileged enough to grow up in a family of sailors. Johan is always keen to explore new waters whilst using his navigational knowledge and respect for the ocean as his guide. His experience and family gave him the necessary background and confidence to pursue his dreams and become a crew member on a large yacht. His passion for the outdoors and physical activities led him to many sports such as tennis, rugby and athletics. Priding himself in the ability to always be up for a challenge, and learning from failures and success is his life motto.

Rene'T Domingues

Rene’t is from a small beach town called Plettenburg Bay in South Africa where her great love for the ocean began. She grew up surfing, kite surfing, diving and exploring the natural surrounding forests. She started her yachting career at the age of 18 and has sailed across most of the oceans, learning and experiencing different cultures, working on different yachts and exploring the Pacific, South Pacific, East China seas, Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean. She is also a surf instructor, lifeguard and a PADI rescue diver. With over a decade of experience in the yachting industry, she has excellent service skills and a fine eye for detail. Her calm and happy personality makes her the perfect host for guests from all corners of the world. Rene’t takes great pride in giving her guests seven-star service at sea. She is devoted to make your stay onboard an exclusive and unforgettable holiday.

Joana Domingues

Joana is half Brazilian half Spanish and grew up in the capital of Brazil, Brasília. After her bachelor qualification she obtained a Master’s degree in Fine art at the University of Barcelona, Spain. She has a great sense of adventure and travel, and this pulled her to a career in the yachting industry. With her happy and colourful personality and excellent cocktail skills she is sure to make your experience onboard one to remember. As well as being fluent in 3 languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese), she is also a qualified yoga teacher and excellent with children. She has incredible skills for producing events and parties. Joana is a PADI open water diver and enjoys traveling and exploring in her spare time. Her favourite hobbies are yoga, surfing, diving and hiking.

Normand Bouchard

Normand started working in restaurants as prep cook at an early age. His love of cuisine was transmitted by his mother who was a great cook, and enhanced by his curiosity about different foods. After first studying Engineering at University, he realized he wanted to live from his passion so he went to L’institut de Tourisme et d’Hotellerie du Québec in Montreal, Canada to study French cuisine. After graduating, he worked as a Chef in a Hotel located in a ski resort in Whistler Canada where he was able to practice his favourite sport: Skiing. He then went on to work at a restaurant in St Thomas, VI for a few months before heading to the Med on a sail boat. Once in Monaco, he started his career as Chef onboard a 42 m yacht, and has been in the Yacht charter industry ever since. In his free time, Normand enjoys cycling, swimming and travelling.

Courtney Dieno

Growing up on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, Courtney developed a love for being close to the ocean. That love turned into a career in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction which resulted in her completing her PADI Divemaster training in Roatan, Honduras. Through running her own swim teaching program, she acquired great leadership and teaching skills to all ages. She easily engages with the people around her and smiles through every experience she has on the water. Courtney is eager to making the guest’s experience one they will never forget. Whether you want to strap on a tank and explore the world below or lay in the sun with a drink in hand, she will be there to ensure your experience is a memorable one.

MICHAEL MACHADO

Michael is a Canadian native, born in Toronto, with a passion and flair for the culinary arts. He graduated with Honors from the Canadian Food and Wine Institute in 2011. With his natural talent and ambitious mentality, Michael has been fortunate to work with some of Canada’s top chefs. In 2015, he entered the yachting industry to combine his desires of food and traveling. He excelled in his craft on professional programs ranging from 130ft to 300ft Vessels. With Michael as your personal chef aboard, you can be sure to have your taste buds tingling while enjoying the open ocean view.

93m Feadship charter yacht ‘Lady S’ with IMAX theatre nearing completion

After leaving Feadship’s facilities in Amsterdam on Wednesday, the 93m/305ft superyacht ‘Lady S’ set out for sea trials this morning.  

Heading out for the first time on February 7, Lady S is completing another round of sea trials in the North Sea. Following their completion, the Feadship-built superyacht will be delivered to her owner and then go on to spend the summer season chartering in the Mediterranean .

With her cutting-edge technology, stellar selection of facilities and Feadship pedigree, Lady S is expected to become one of the best-equipped superyachts for charter in the world.

The superyacht was captured cruising through the canals of IJmuiden, in North Holland, showing off her Michael Leach-designed exterior. In spite of her sheer volume, the British-based design studio has maintained a sleek and elegant profile, with long glazed sections, solid steel bulwarks and delicately curving lines penned in her superstructure.

While little is known about the interiors of the superyacht, they have been created by Reymond Langton Design and are expected to reflect a contemporary jewellery box, with chandeliers dripping with crystals and bright whites offset by sky blue.

In spite of her sheer volume, Michael Leach has maintained a sleek and elegant profile.

Charter guests are sure to love cruising around Mediterranean hotspots such as Italy and the South of France on board the superyacht. She boasts a number of stand-out features, including a certified helipad that can double as a basketball court, and a duplex IMAX cinema for the ultimate entertainment experience.

What’s more, guests can enjoy a spacious pool on the main deck aft, complete with a glass bottom and separate shaded and sunning zones.

Upon delivery, Lady S will rank in the top sixty in the World’s Top 100 Superyachts, and is currently the largest Feadship yacht ever built to be publicly available for private yacht charters .

She is also set to become the first Feadship superyacht to be completed at the shipbuilder's new facilities in Amsterdam, which cater specifically to new builds and refits of yachts measuring over 160 metres.

Brokerage boat of the month: designed by the world's oldest yacht design office

Every month we place a spotlight on one of the best-designed brokerage boats that have joined the market, changed agents or have had a significant price drop. For March, the 55-metre, 122-year-old Madiz is our Brokerage Boat of the Month.

Designed as Triton by G.L.Watson & Co, Madiz  was built of steel in Scotland by Ailsa and delivered in 1902. Now lying in Perama, Greece, Madiz is asking €9,750,000 with VAT paid. She is listed with joint central agents, Jean-Marie Recamier and Jessica Ruez of Camper & Nicholsons and Dr. William Collier of G.L.Watson & Co.

BOAT's brokerage editor says:

In similar fashion to driving a vintage motor car into Monaco's Casino Square, and attracting more admiration from onlookers than the expensive supercars, when Madiz enters any anchorage, everybody stops and looks, appreciating the elegant lines of a bygone era. All respect the owner and crew for looking after her as "custodian" for future generations. 

The brokers say:

Jean-Marie Recamier of Camper & Nicholsons pointed out that " Madiz is one of a few yachts to have survived from the early 20th century, and arguably there is no other yacht of this size, age, and original standing remaining". He noted her "British Victorian interior style decoration" and that she can also claim "the title of the oldest vessel in operation to have Lloyd's classification". Dr William Collier of G.L.Watson & Co. said that "we have all the key original drawings as well as those when she was Hiniesta ", which would be useful should a future owner wish to do a refit.

What makes her special?

Madiz has a seven-cabin layout for up to 14 guests, with the interior styling following the same British Victorian themes as she did when she was launched. The master suite enjoys private deck access and a Jacuzzi-style tub, while one of the other cabins has a fair-sized office attached to it for working at sea.

There are ample outdoor deck areas on board for dining and unwinding, including an open sundeck and shaded forward seating for mealtimes. There is provision for a crew of ten and she is served by a 6-metre Riva Superflorida tender as well as a 6-metre classic launch. Double Mercedes 250 HP engines push her to a top speed of 11 knots, pared back to ten knots cruising and her range is 2,750 nautical miles at cruising pace.

Price comparison:

We searched BOATPro to compare similar yachts on the market to the 55-metre Madiz . There really is nothing in its class and the brokers correctly said: "She is unique! That is the point and opportunity!"
