The cool, James Bond interior of Yachtwerft Meyer ’s new 31-foot Silverline makes it the quintessential commuter. Plush, white-leather lounges, teak floors, and maple tables (with just enough space for two champagne flutes) give it an opulent look. But the German builder also took a pragmatic approach to the design, adding windows overhead and along both sides, so guests can enjoy the beautiful ocean views on the way to the mothership. The 31-footer is the largest of the new collection, with a rear helm to give more space to the forward lounge. The stern has been left wide open and easy to move among the boat, dock, and another yacht. It’s a clever, elegant design from Hamrid Bekradi of HBD Studios, who has designed the Silverline series in different lengths, with a choice of layouts. Bekradi’s genius is in extracting as much interior space as possible from a limited hull length, while ensuring the boat is still fast and maneuverable.

Measuring 10.5m, this custom-build tender is the biggest member of the Silverline family so far. The three-part electric sliding roof opens up the majority of the cabin for an open and airy feeling. Two super luxurious, forward-facing seats in the spacious cabin stand out in this layout, together with other bespoke features.
