SERENITY II Motor yacht for sale

Custom built by Mengi-Yay Yachts in Turkey in 2010, SERENITY II is a 40m (131.2ft) luxury yacht. With her steel hull and aluminium superstructure, her top speed is 13 knots, and she cruises at 11 knots. Her engineering and external design comes from the draft board of Endaze Muhendislik, and her interior was conceived by H2 Yacht Design.

Known for her elegant lines, SERENITY II features walkaround teak decks and uses her internal space to capacity. Forward on the main deck, the unusual 180-degree windows create amazing views in the VIP guest suite, which also has private use of the foredeck.

The upper deck is mainly given over to the owner’s suite: an aft facing cabin with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors opening onto the aft deck for their private dining and relaxation. The décor is cool and luxurious in silver-grey and cream, upholstered walls and Macassar cabinetry.

Forward on the upper deck is the well-equipped bridge where full beam windows line the cabin creating an uninterrupted view for the helm.

Another full beam VIP guest suite is situated on the lower deck, this has a bed positioned at an angle to help prevent discomfort. The yacht also has zero speed stabilisers to smooth her motion when underway and at anchor. There are three further double cabins on the lower deck. SERENITY II accommodates up to 13 guests in six cabins.

For living space, the main deck offers a saloon with an open plan lounge-dining room and a bar, which leads a partially covered aft deck with an outdoor table and banquette seating. On the extensive sun deck, guests can dine outside at another large table, sheltered by the hardtop, or sunbathe on the sunpads surrounding the jacuzzi forward. Plus there a sit-up bar.

The tender is a 5.8m Golden Line G580 with 150hp Mercury, which is stored on the upper aft deck, with a crane to launch. A 4.2m Golden Line with 90hp Mercury is stored on the lower deck, accessed through the transom. Also a range of water toys: jetskis, wakeboards, waterskis, scuba gear and towables.

SERENITY II needs nine crew to operate to her full potential. The captain has a double cabin by the bridge, the rest of the crew quarters are on the lower deck, including a dedicated mess room.

Turn-key and ready for new ownership, SERENITY II has been well maintained and consistently upgraded over the years. In 2022 she completed an extensive flag and classification survey, and then received a full hull repaint in 2021.

Serenity II’s spacious and comfortable interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 2 double cabins and 1 Pullman bed. She is also capable of carrying 8 crew members onboard to make sure you get the very best out of all the available amenities and facilities.

Serenity II is a popular choice and lends herself perfectly to entertaining and hosting friends and family. Whether dining on deck or simply lounging in the sunshine, you can’t help but be impressed.

She is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and has a cruising speed of 10 knots. Whether sailing around Turkey, Croatia or Greece, you are assured of the most memorable and enjoyable sail.

She also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

A deck Jacuzzi is perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the view, particularly after a long day of adventure.

The superyacht has Wi-Fi connection throughout, so you’ll be able to check emails or share your experience on social media.Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, so you’ll stay cool even on the hottest of days.

Built by Mengi Yay in 2010, Serenity II is a 40 metre semi displacement motor yacht.  She is available for charter in the East Mediterranean, Turkey and Montenegro.

Her dark blue hull stands out in any harbour she visits. Serenity II has 4 decks, giving her a surprisingly large amount of space. The saloon has a modern minimalist feel, complete with a formal dining area. There is also a separate office. Outside, the top deck is fitted with comfortable white settees and a bar.

Serenity II has 6 cabins, allowing luxury accommodation for up to 12 guests. The crew of 7 take care of every detail.

In his spare time, Captain Ramazan enjoys wakeboarding, horse riding, nature photography and spending time with his young family.

Rey, a greatly experienced Chief Officer from the Philippines. He has acquired a plethora of licenses and certificates, amongst them being the license for small powerboat and rib master, master of yachts limited shorebased course and master of yachts limited 200 tons limited. Svitlana, is a Ucrainian chief stewardess who has excellent communication skills. It certainly helps that she has good command of the English language as well as the Russian and the Ukrainian. She has many qualifications, some of which are great management skills, she is knowledgeable of food safety and hygiene, security awareness, safety training. She can provide good customer service and is careful with attention to detail. Some of the yachts she collaborated with are M/Y IL Sole, M/Y Alba, M/Y R. Darenben, M/Y O’Ptasia

Olga, an enthusiastic and motivated person who is a quick learner. Stewardess with many key achievements as she is very flexible problem solver as she has constructively handled difficult situations. Received recommendation from supervisor due to the maximum number of satisfied customers served by one waitress. Has strong communication skills, is familiar with a wide range of food and beverages. Worked in Sun Café in Zatoka, in Tavernetta Restaurant in Odessa, Bernadazzi Restaurant in Odessa, and her yachting experience includes M/Y Freedom. She is here to learn and develop.

Anastasia is a talented yacht stewardess, who not only knows how to do housekeeping and serve guests but also in a qualified bartender, flower arranger and hairdresser. The latter is her current goal, she wants to combine working as a stewardess along with providing her hairdresser’s knowledge. Has worked earlier in her life in the “Workers” beauty salon and then on board M/V Celestyal Nefely as assistant stewardess. Tested her skills as a barwaitress on board M/V Thomson Majesty and M/V Marella Spirit, as a waitress for “Dream Life” restaurant and as a yachts stewardess on M/V Alexander and M/V Celebrity Edge (waitress). A cheerful person to be around to.

Samet is a chief engineer from Turkey, with vast experience. 7 years on oceangoing merchant ships and 5 years on private and charter yachts. A team player who always finds a practical solution to whatever problem may arise. In his possession many certificates, including the engine room watch keeping certificate, advance fire fighting certificate, he is proficient in oil tanker cargo operations, survival crafts and rescue boats and the list goes on and on. His last experience on board Serenity II, since January 2020. He is very adaptive to new projects and challenges.

Mcreidell P. Villaruel, single, from the Philippines, a multitasker as a person and quick to learn. Has completed his training in survival craft and rescue boat, navigational watch, ship security awareness. He is experienced in crew safety, knows a skippers responsibilities and roles on a boat and is familiar with handling a dinghy. Previous experience includes working on board M/Y Skatzoura as a deck cadet and on M/Y Octavian as a deckhand. He can help his team proceed and is very enthusiastic.

Vedat, a deckhand, has acquired important certificates and is still growing and learning every day. Some of these certificates are designated security duties, security awareness, personnel safety, survival techniques. Hard working, in 2012 and for three years he was in Kocaeli Water Accident prevention center, followed by Delta Beach Resort Hotel Water Sports. Also collaborated with S/Y Ferda Kaptan, S/Y Anahita and was on board M/Y Serenity II from 2020 to 2021.

The 40-meter motor yacht SERENITY II cruises in the Eastern Mediterranean during the summer charter season.  She is a Mengi Yay Shipyard build from Turkey.  Motor yacht SERENITY II features exterior design by Endaze Mühendislik.  Her interior is by H2 Yacht Design.  This vivacious full-displacement superyacht makes a powerful presence.

Sh is a build from Istanbul, Turkey.  Motor yacht SERENITY II’s manufacturer has a long history and tradition in yacht construction.  They formed in 1976.  In addition, Mengi Yay boasts completion of more than 80 yachts of various sizes.

This solid-looking superyacht has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Her twin Caterpillar C32 engines, allows her to reach a cruising speed of 12 knots, with a maximum speed of 15 knots.

The stylish interior by H2 Yacht Design was based on the owner’s request for a, “…contemporary feel but not too minimal and modern either. The yacht was to be a floating holiday home, which should also be smart and impressive enough to hold the inevitable business functions.”

SERENITY II is an APA  (Advance Provisioning Allowance) applied yacht!

The meaning of APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an advance payment required to pay your operating expenses on a luxury yacht. This amount is mostly 30% of the total charter fee amount.

Why do you need to pay APA? Because your charter fee does not include extra expenses aside from the rental cost of the yacht. Before your arrival and during your stay, all operating expenses (diesel and fuel, harbor fees, local taxes, customs fees, food, beverages, etc.) will be completed by the captain. Before disembarkation, an additional payment can be required from the captain in case the advance payment has been completely used or if there is spending less you will have the difference refunded to you.

The windy Russian autumn weather might be a little bit tricky for sailing, but it doesn’t stop brave yachtsmen from all over the world from flocking to Russian capital in the beginning of September when the Moscow Yacht Show commences. The main Russian Yacht exhibition gathers professional and amateur yacht lovers together under the wing of The Royal Yacht Club.

This year it took place for a fourth time already. The exhibition is considered the principal event on the sporting and social calendar. The Moscow Yacht Show 2010 united in one area three of the largest Russian yachts distributors: Ultramarine, Nordmarine and Premium Yachts.

A wide range of yachts were on display for a week. An exhibition showcased yachts both from Russian manufacturers and world famous brands: Azimut, Princess, Ferretti, Pershing, Riviera, Doral, Linssen, etc.

It was a real feast for seafarers as visitors of the show had a unique chance not only to take a look at the newest superyachts before they hit the market, but also to evaluate their driving advantages during the test drive. The show provided an excellent opportunity for yacht enthusiasts to choose and buy a new boat for the next season.

The event started with the grandiose gala evening. It included grand dinner, the concert and professional awards ceremony for achievements in Russian yachting industry. The guests also enjoyed the annual regatta.

Special guest Paolo Vitelli, Azimut Benetti Group president, opened the evening.

Next year organizers assured guests they would bring more yachts, the scale of which will even make oligarch Roman Abramovich envious. Sounds very promising indeed.

Sunrise Yachts, a luxury yacht building company which is based in Turkey, has been made a main sponsor of next year’s 2011 Moscow International Boat Show (MIBS). The four-day Russian yacht show event is currently scheduled to run from April 14-17 at the Moscow’s Crocus exhibition centre.

MIBS is organised by the ITE Group and it is one of Russia’s leading boat shows and is an internationally recognised superyacht event. The show covering everything from small parts and accessories to large superyacht with over 9,000 people and 178 exhibitors attended the last year show.

The Paolo Scanu-designed Sunrise 45 yacht is an ocean-going cruising yacht that was released in 2009 to much acclaim at this was the group’s first-ever model.

Sunrise Yachts was founded in 2007 by the German entrepreneur Herbert P Baum along with the French-British yacht builder Guillaume Roché. The luxury yacht group is based in Antalya, Turkey and utilises a 10,000sq m shipyard facility. Sunrise has two sheds measuring 100m (328ft) x 16m (53ft), as well as a 70m (230ft) x 16m (53ft) fully acclimatized paint shed that can accommodate new-build and refit projects up to 65m (213ft) in length and 1,200 tonnes displacement.

Along each side of the yacht-building facility, space is available for long-term sub-contractors with the latest equipment and logistics capabilities, along with air-conditioned storage, ventilation and extraction plants. The shipyard is organized as an “assembler,” based loosely on the car industry’s model, with a small, yet powerful project management team charged with running all the in-house long-term sub-contractors.

About Super Yacht SERENITY II: Luxury Motor Yacht  SERENITY II is a yacht with a great interior.  By using best interior designer team and crucially best suppliers from across Europe, the yacht has become a lovely place to unwind and relax when the strong Mediterranean sun is to be avoided.  Fabulous contract of the interior space is achieved with a combination of wenge, anigre and teak with marble floors adding a luxurious and royal like feel to bathrooms and the corridors.  All cabins have a slightly different theme and feel, and provide large beds and plenty of storage space.  

Accommodation: Mega yacht  SERENITY II has lovely super yacht accommodation for up to ten adults plus two additional guests in five different cabins. Amongst her lavish accommodations are a large full beam Masters suite, two VIP suites, two generous double cabins, and an additional sofa berth in owners lounge.  The accommodation is set on the lower deck and is accessed through typical stairs near the command bridge.  The master suite, located on bridge deck, is a full beam stateroom with king size bed, a writing desk, a separate settee and a fabulous al fresco seating area.  The VIP double cabins have also a king size bed, with both having their own private en-suite facilities, video and audio entertainment systems.  The additional two double cabins have a queen size bed with their own en suite facilities. All cabins have individually controlled air conditioning systems ensuring pleasant and comfortable yacht charter experience. Chef: On board of super yacht SERENITY II you will meet Gohkan.  He is originally from Izmir, and has worked for 10 years as chef on private and charter yachts. He was welcomed to Serenity II  after working full 4 years on a successful charter yacht and brings with him a wide knowledge and experience of cuisine from many corners of the world whilst still retaining his roots of Turkish cuisine.
