Double Dip Snorkel Trip

We provide a 3,5 hours guided drift snorkel trip in a relaxed atmosphere. At Klein Bonaire, we make two magnificent different stops and we snorkel in small groups. In between, you will enjoy the great surroundings and breathtaking views while we serve you our homemade snacks/bites and refreshments.

We, Arno and Joyce, can call ourselves the proud owners of this great company.

In 2020 we packed our things and came to Bonaire with our 2 teenagers and dog. Because we had lived in the same village all our lives we were ready for something totally different. And we went for it.

Living on Bonaire immediately felt very good. The openness of the people, the nature, the relaxed life and of course the beautiful sea so close by every day.

After 2 years of working for a boss, our “entrepreneurial heart” started beating again and we wanted a business for ourselves. What we always had in the Netherlands. We got to know the previous owners of the Sea Cow and that is how we learned that they wanted to sell their company. Our hearts beat faster when we saw what a beautiful company it was. And still is. For years at #1 on Tripadvisor.

Joyce has preferred being underwater to above water in the sea all her life. And Arno loved nothing more than cruising in the Netherlands. Also from a young age.

This fits PERFECT into our lives. So you can’t make us happier.

The Sea Cow is in excellent condition, equipped with spacious comfortable seats and 2 wide vertical stairs so everyone can easily get in and out of the water. We and our team assure you that you will have an unforgettable and enjoyable experience with us on the Sea Cow.

Safety is our top priority and we are equipped with all the necessary safety equipment and requirements. We are also all trained first aid, AED, and oxygen first aiders.

Love our reef!

Oxybenzone is the main active ingredient in most sunscreens. But the same mechanism that makes it filter out ultraviolet light and prevent sunburns in humans makes it lethal to baby coral. Basically, the sunscreen ingredient is shoving coral reefs off the ledge on which they’re already teetering. Learn more in this video!

Lovely snorkeltour not to be missed

Perfect tour to do snorkel with Joyce and her team at Klein Bonaire. Marvellous experience as they give you a lot of tips for the snorkeling itself. Even if you did snorkel before, there is always something to learn.

Amazing day and operator

I can't over express how pleased we were with our snorkeling tour. The staff was friendly, professional, gracious and very aware of participants' abilities and safety. The guides were very courteous and knowledgeable. Top notch, #1 outfit. Not to be missed.

Great boat, great food, graet drinks. These guys understand it. You get to see beautifull underwater life, the guide provides great information and points out all the specials. Love it. Already did two tours with them!

Yes, you can!

You can book our Double Dip Snorkeltrip if your date is available.

Walking distance is between 20 and 30 minutes from the cruise-ship dock to our location Harbour Village Marina.

You can also take a taxi, they are available outside the cruise dock.

What should we bring?

Please bring a towel, Rash Guard Top (Swim Shirt if you burn fast), sunscreen, wetsuit (when you get cold quickly).

In addition: a Stinapa Nature Fee is required and not included in this price. You can buy your fee online via https://www.bonairenaturefee.org.

Cruiseship passengers do not need the Stinapa Nature Fee.

Do you have a restroom on board?

No, we don’t have any restroom facilities on board but you can use the toilets in the Marina.

I have mobility issues, can I still come on board?

You’re most welcome! Our boat offers comfortable seating, shade and two large metal ladders that make it easy for everyone to go in and out of the water.

Can we pay with credit card on board?

Yes, you can pay with credit card on the jetty upon arrival. Please note we do not accept AMEX.

You'll stop at the famous pink salt flats and white mountains of salt. Your guide will explain the salt production process.

Offshore from the historical white slave huts, learn some Caribbean facts and discover why these centuries-old huts are built next to the sea.

The catamaran approaches the uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire by way of the famous Bonaire Marine Park . Its protected reef makes it a divers' paradise. From up close, you will see Bonaire's most attractive white-sand beach. Its name, of course, is No-Name Beach.

Follow the coastline for exceptional panoramic views, and don't forget to look down into the crystal-clear turquoise water. Oceanfront hotels and restaurants and beautiful Dutch Caribbean mansions line the way back to the port.

Maximum age is 70 years. Maximum height is 6'6". Maximum weight is 330 lbs. Guests who are more than five months pregnant or have a heart condition, asthma, or leg or chest injuries and/or recent surgery are not allowed to participate. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations.

The Brunch & Snorkel catamaran tour is a unique experience on the water for all ages. During this culinary sailing adventure, we will visit two different snorkel spots in the Bonaire Marine Park. Usually, this includes one stop along the famous coral riffs of Klein Bonaire and one on the west coast of Bonaire. With our professional guide you will discover the beautiful diversity of Bonaire underwater world.

During the first stop our chef will prepare a luxurious breakfast for you. Mostly using freshly grown fruits and vegetables from Bonaire. The breakfast menu changes but the chef will make sure to always include delicious pancakes, smoothies and fruit platters.

Just relax in the shade of the catamaran roof or take a sunbath on deck while you enjoy your breakfast in Bonaire.

• All users of the Bonaire Marine Park (the waters surrounding Bonaire) are required by law to pay the  Bonaire Nature Fee from STINAPA . If you haven’t already, please acquire the Nature Tag for every passenger before your tour.

The Brunch & Snorkel catamaran tour is suitable for all ages. Please note there are no infant seats available on board.

The tour is not wheelchair and stroller accessible. Also, it is not recommended for people with heart conditions.  Lastly, it’s not suitable for pets. 

Please inform us in advance about any food allergies / dietary wishes. Then we will take this into account.

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 4 days or less before the event.

Gladly surprised! We were very hesitant to do the tour. We spent around 100$ per person but it was well worth it. The atmosphere on board was great. The group was not too big and very important; the food was great.

We had passed on Vegan as our dietary requirement and the chef turned out tremendously. We were afraid beforehand that this was going to be disappointing but it was really fantastic! The boat makes about 2 stops and you can encounter sea turtles along the way. Dolphins are not often encountered on Bonaire. 5 stars!

Absolutely recommended! We paid $110 per person and thought this was a bit expensive at first, but in retrospect it was well worth our money! There is a very good atmosphere on the boat and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The chef had served a wonderful vegan brunch for us, delicious homemade burgers, pasta salad with homemade vegan parmesan, vegetables, fruit, etc. We stopped at two places to snorkel, this was really fantastic. We saw beautiful coral and even a sea turtle.

Four of us (Americans) went on the Brunch tour. Very well organized – left on time. I recommend buying tickets on-line. It’s a big catamaran. We had about 20 people on board and there was plenty of room. We sailed slowly to the island while they served us drinks, then tied to a buoy. You could take a guided snorkel tour where they pointed out and explained things or go off on your own. There are a LOT of fish and some nice coral. Then they served us an excellent brunch before sailing to another good snorkeling spot on the main island and then back to the dock. 4.5 hours in all.

The crew was terrific, very helpful and friendly and seemed to enjoy casual conversation with us. An excellent deal for only $110.
