with the and going over the minutiae of this boat - that's why this video is so late to the party - but it has left me with the feeling that they have the knowledge, experience and capital to make this successful and 1 private) and #3 is coming to the US... these are going to be complete built by the factory. Hull 4 - the first 3D modular hull - could be ours if we commit in time.

If you can briefly explain or confirm, I believe you're interested in doing a lot of the building yourself and this boat company supports that goal with providing all the to put it together. Will you source all components, , , , , etc or is that part of the "kit".
Look forward to seeing more progress on your decision and ultimately a build of your Max Cruise.

You talk in this forum as if you both made a decision already on the MAX 42.
My questinn is abour the bows. They look as separate pieces to me.
How do they connect with the hulls and how aboutde because i think the seam will be visible and may be colordifference?

It’s going to be this 42-foot catamaran that will be launched first since the hull molds are ready. The deck mold is under construction and the launch of hull #1 is scheduled for mid-October. Inverted bows, narrow hulls at the waterline (3’5” / 1.05 m max hull width), carefully designed appendages (daggerboards or keels) and only 16,300 lbs (7.4 tonnes) announced as ready to sail: the Max42SC, with nearly 1,100 sq ft (100 m²) of upwind sail area, should prove to be very pleasant and fast to sail. For propulsion, the shipyard offers diesel or outboard engines.

Our goal is to spend the next two years building the perfect catamaran for ourselves. Originally we had narrowed it down to the Oram 45R; the Grainger Raku 44; and the Schionning Arrow 1360. But along the way we began talking to another company which is coming out with a brand new catamaran design. Unlike the other choices, which are foam core flat panel kits, the Max 42 is comprised of 3 dimensional modules. The exterior will arrive to us with a gel coat finish, which means we wouldn’t need to spend nearly 10 months of our time sanding and faring ourselves, preparing it for paint.
We think there are a lot of great options with the Max 42, and it easily made its way into our list of contenders of build we be starting this year. Just make sure to stay tuned in the next few weeks when it goes in a head to head battle with the Schionning Arrow 1360, and we pick a winner!

The Max Cruise marine 44 SC is a very customizable catamaran. The 3 DM self build model is 42 feet long while the factory completed boat has stern extensions which puts it at 44 feet. The boat is offered with keels or dagger boards as well as fixed rudders or retractable rudders. You can choose diesels with shaft drives or retractable outboards.
