Your cruise

Departing from the marina of Cogolin, embark with Symilien or 2 of his female colleagues, for a day of sailing in a magical setting. Alone, with friends, with family, sail for a day of pleasure on a 23m maxi catamaran! Departure in the morning in the direction of St Tropez, then of the creeks with the Caribbean water of the Taillat Cape, towards Ramatuelle. A detour to the beach of Pampelonne and its stars is a must to make the most of it. Make the most of your day and have fun! Attention, on Wednesdays and Sundays, destination Cap Dramont instead of Cap Taillat.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Boarding is scheduled at 9:30 am from the marina of Cogolin Your skipper will offer you a welcome coffee. You will discuss the day's program together, and be briefed on the safety instructions on board It will be time to set the sails, and to sail to St Tropez, then Ramatuelle! During 2h30, you will discover the exhilaration of sailing, the exceptional sensations of speed at sea.... You will drop anchor near the beach of Pampelonne for a short break You will resume sailing to Cape Taillat. It is a wild peninsula located at 15 nautical miles from Saint-Tropez, about 2h30 of navigation, just next to Ramatuelle, accessible only by the sea or by a small hiking path. Discover a magical turquoise water! When you arrive at Cap Taillât, you can enjoy your lunch box (Lunch box optional). You will then be able to relax, and take full advantage of the exceptional site and the leisure equipment on board which will be at your disposal: kayaks, paddle You will then return to the port of departure, for a disembarkation around 6 pm.

Super nice cruise in spite of my daughter's seasickness on the way out which happened when the sea calmed down.Proposal on board of coffee, tea, fresh drinks, madeleine... then for the aperitif planteur and for the snack a fruit salad made on the catamaran with again planteur.Very exotic day and we take a lot of view!!!! The skippers are very nice and very attentive. To do and to do again 👍

What time of the year is the best to charter in the St-Tropez area ?

What's included what's not included .

For day charter: boat rental for 7/8hours, qualified crew, French VAT at 20%, free soft drinks (yacht cruising with less than 9 guests).

What’s not included: alcohol & food, disembarkation tax in St-Tropez (may apply for group), tips for crew (not mandatory), fuel (we strongly suggest to ask for a quotation before booking any charter), any other extra you may request: water toys rental…

How many guests are allowed on board ?

Yacht are not passenger vessels. Smaller yachts may carry a maximum of 10/11 people, and even many superyachts are capped at 12 passengers due to the SOLAS Convention (Safety of Life at Sea) set forth by the International Maritime Organization. However, there're some rare exceptions (NUC vessel or 36 passengers yacht with special licence): contact us for more information.

What do I need to bring with me ?

For day charter: as this is a one day charter, you only need pack very little, and the less baggage you have the better. Shoes should be low-heeled for deck activities. Bring a few swimsuits (so you’ll always have a dry one) and formal wear if intending to visit anywhere that may have a strict dress code. Remember to bring any personal items such as valid copy of passports and visas, and if any of your yachting party is prone to seasickness, over the counter medications or prescriptions may be a good idea.

Do I need to tip the crew ?

Although not mandatory, it is recommended to leave a tip (gratuity) for the work of the crew at the end of a charter. We recommend a tip between 8% and 12% of the growth charter fee depending on how satisfied you are with the service.

An event full of adrenaline. For its 2 nd season, Sail GP is adding Saint-Tropez to its track. A race with 8 teams competing on board of F50 catamaran, foiling catamaran and one of the fastest racing class with speeds that can exceed 50 knots. The principle is simple: 8 teams, 8 races, 8 identical boats.

Each event takes place over 2 days (3 races per day) and the final race will pit the three highest ranked teams against each other for the title of event champion.

The regatta will take place on September 11th and 12th 2021 from 2pm to 4pm.
